Dylan notified me prior to arriving and was on time according to the appointment made. He was polite, used shoe protectors while inside, and explained what he’d be doing to check my units inside and out. When completed, he provided a complete review of my system, including photos so I had a better understanding. He went over recommendations, but also gave me options so I didn’t feel pressured. We’ve used Air Squad for 15 years and have always been pleased with the service. Dylan is an excellent technician and is knowledgeable and consistently provides quality service.

Dylan L was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He did a thorough evaluation of our air conditioner during which he located and fixed the problems. Dylan had the system running in short order, having llocated and removed packing material that had been inside the unit since the day it was installed. This packing material was blocking part of the fan and causing our system to operate with decreased efficiency. In other words, it was costing us money.Our experience with Dylan L was very different from our experience with the previous company we contacted. They had urged us to replace our entire system, which is why we contacted Air Squad for a second opinion. In the future, we will definitely go with Air Squad!

Update: Now, the upstairs unit is out again for the umpteenth time. All of the techs that come out are very good but this system I bought new from Air Squad is the worst system - by far - that I have ever owned. The techs - Jheovany and Dylan - feel like members of the family as many times as they have been to the house.Is there anything resembling the lemon law for cars that covers heat pumps? I mean, this thing is still under warranty. I shudder to think what it will cost me when its not. Ill probably have to put a tech on retainer.These are American Standard - Silver Series units. I bought the pitch that these were reliable but these really suck.Seriously, short of litigation, can nothing be done about this?The guy came out and did our bi-annual service on both units. While doing that, he found a motor that was going out and got it replaced under warranty. Great catch!

Wow!!!! Today Dylan L. came over to my house. He was explaining everything that he was doing, not only that he was giving me tips on how to maintain my unit and what I should do so problems are almost no existent. He was not try to push me new hardware, but instead was trying to get the most affordable option. The diagnostic fee of 79 was waved since I chose to repair. The total came to 549.00 with a 9 months warranty. That is pretty good. I highly recommend this company. And if you want to ask for Dylan L. he is the best.

***UPDATED 4/18/17***We received a call today to apologize for the level of customer service received this weekend and we greatly appreciate it. Like I said in the previous comment these guys have been awesome in the past so I am glad to see this one situation is not indicative of how they run their business. Have always done honest and professional work for us in the past so I am extremely happy that we can continue to use their services.We have had really good experiences over the past 2 years except for this past Saturday 4/15 when they came out to service our system (We bought a service plan for them to do so thru the summer). The service was great minus the fact that the tech left our air filter out of the system after servicing. The system was set pretty low to make sure it was running properly and then ran without a filter the rest of the day. My wife and 2 year old daughter ended up having allergy attacks and all the fun stuff that involved. We at that point went to purchase a new air filter thinking that may be the culprit. When we went to replace the filter we noticed the tech had taken our old one out that day and just left it out... That seemed to be the allergy culprit. All of this we were not upset by, mistakes happen but when we called to let them know about the mistake to prevent this for others in the future the supervisor decided he wanted to argue that they were not at fault and that we asked them to leave the filter out. Like I said, very good company in the past and very strange they would want to argue that point. We did not want anything other than to let them know about it... now we will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I am totally pleased. Not only did the technician whose name is Adrian arrive on time. He was actually early. He was polite, professional and had the system completely repaired within one hour. My house was internally 88 degrees over Mothers Day weekend and in less than an hour Im living comfortably again. I received a text quickly telling me Jheovany was dispatched. He found coolant was leaking outside. He repaired and filled with 13lbs of coolant (not cheap!). Once filled he found the unit was automatically shutting off with an H5 IPM warning. Did more tests and discovered the compressor was over amping, caused high pressure, while it terribly shook the copper pipes and then would shut down. The vibration is what caused the solder on the pipe to crack initially. The Mr. Cool unit will be replaced but will take around 2 weeks to get it (103 degrees outside). The owner came out personally when he heard this. They both installed a temporary outdoor unit he brought out to cool my house until the replacement comes in from warranty. Didnt cost me a thing. My wife and I could not be happier with this Excellent Service and Warranty support! @joe.from.texas

My outside unit stopped working late in the evening and temp reached 90 inside. I called several companies and got nothing but answering machines, even though they all stated that they were still open. Air Squad was the only one that returned my call. I was told that their tech, Justin would be coming out and that he would call me before arriving, which he did. He arrived when he said he would and was very thorough. He found the problem within minutes and gave me a price before he fixed it. He also checked my freon levels and took the time to go over all of the numbers on the meter. Buy the way without the plan each unit tune-up would have cost us $125.00 each to check for the winter.This is the type of customer care we need every day for every problem! The first company we called said that our control board was fried and so was our compressor. He also said whoever last did maintenance on our unit way overcharged it. Said he released 4lbs of refrigerant and wouldnt be able to get a new board ordered until monday.We called Air Squad to get a 2nd opinion and their tech told us it was just low on freon. Just proves the first company is a scam and just out to get money (Jaks AC) and Air Squad was honest and got the job done quick! Our house is now 72 degrees and the AC is working perfect.

Air squad does my business and home and the owner Richard could not be a more honest, friendly guy. Air Squad has worked on my GFs house before as well. America home shield sent their tech out here today and said I had no problems with my AC but I needed 3 pounds of freon. I called Air Squad to do a double check and the unit didnt even need 2 pounds. The cost would have been a service charge $100 plus $330 for freon from America Home shield. Air Squad let me watch and explained the procedures looking for leaks etc. Most AC companies will always squeeze in an extra pound or two of freon to get extra profit. That adds up. How would the average person know? I wouldnt. Anyways thanks Air Squad!

We first called Air Squad several years ago. It was after hours and on the weekend. The owner came out and fixed our issue; was friendly, and the cost was far less than other HVAC people. This summer, our condenser coil in our attic went out. Rich presented two options and proceeded with the first, more affordable option after giving me a 50/50 chance of success. He guaranteed the work towards the more costly, replacement option. I called him today to let him know that the fix did not hold. He let me know that we has already prepared for my call, had already located the needed parts and was prepared to move forward. I checked his pricing against other contractors and AirSquad was undeniably in the lower range of pricing. No one likes to AC to break down, but I am so happy its happening with AirSquad as our trusted HVAC Company. -- Update 2016 -- Fourth time to call AirSquad. Had a little problem with a plugged PVC pipe and built up condensation. Rich took care of the issue without taking advantage of us and even looked at another issue we had with our thermostat.

When it started getting hot outside, we noticed our AC wasnt fully functioning and called our home warranty company who referred us to a different AC company. They were a NIGHTMARE to work with. I got the impression that they didnt really care about me as a customer at all and were very rude when telling me that itd take them over a week just to come look at our system due to rainy weather in the forecast. Have been a customer for 2 years now. Have been pleased with their maintenance service and have also relied upon them when the system went out on a Sunday on labor day weekend. Recently had them install a new system. They were among the lowest price wise among all the estimates I obtained and they also performed a heat load measurement to calculate the exact size system that I needed as opposed to estimating or going off of my old system. That ended up saving me money as well.AddendumA few months after my install I came back from vacation to find a water spot on my ceiling.
