We have used their services for several years. Their technicians are always very professional, on time, respectful, and polite. They will never try to sell you something that you dont need. Be aware of technicians that get paid based on commission. Air Patrol technicians are paid by the hour, so they are very trustworthy and will not try to sell you stuff you dont need. In the past, we had another company trying to sell us a $4K new part, telling us that otherwise the system would break soon. This was a few years ago, so we called Air Patrol and they inspected our system and they said there were no issues. Our system has been running perfectly for many years. Thank you!

Their work has consistently been of the highest quality, and their service, when needed, has been prompt and effective. My a/c went out when the temps were 106, and someone came out within a few hours and informed me my condenser coil and compressor were leaking refrigerant. They had the parts quickly, and after some tear down, determined the compressor was not leaking, which saved me hundreds of dollars. I appreciate the great communication, honesty, and fair pricing. I will definitely use Air Patrol in the future and will be recommending them to family and friends.

He explained everything every step of the way in easy to understand words so I could understand not being an expert in this field. He even took care of my wasp nest which I wasn’t aware of in the garden. I don’t have enough words to tell you (the public) how much I appreciate him. Update: my third AC coil decided to kick out this year (not one I previously replaced) and I called back Shawn and his crew to help get out and fix the coil.Francisco, Yorman, and Ramon, came back to my house and did a fantastic job replacing the coil and and in the process making my older system more efficient by reorganizing the duct work. Can’t keep raving enough about this company. These guys are honest and fair and they go the extra mile to create lifetime customers.Original Review: Shawn and the team at Air Patrol did an amazing job installing 2 new 2 ton systems. Shawn is an honest guy in a shady business. I had quotes from 10 different AC companies and picked Air Patrol because of their value and the fact that Shawn took the extra time to walk me through how my current system can be improved through a better install and repiping. His team went above and beyond during the 2 day install and even cleaned up some other wiring in my attic. Highly recommend this company!

This company is wonderful to work with. I have had usually bad experiences with HVAC companies in the past. My realtor, Chris Pyle, recommended Air Patrol to me for service. My technician, Allen or Alan, arrived exactly on time. He fixed kinked duct work and checked filters. He then explained the details and future plans to me. The office lady (sorry I forgot her name, T? or P?) was very friendly and easy to work with regarding billing, too. I will definitely use this company for annual maintenance service. Our air conditioner went out on Memorial Day weekend Sunday afternoon. Our thermostat gave us a code number and we called Air Patrol. The technician (Allen) called us back and said he was in Dallas on a call, but he will call us as soon as he’s done. He got to our house and was very friendly and helpful and fixed our system! We definitely were not expecting to get this awesome service on a Sunday night on memorial day weekend!I highly recommend Air Patrol for any air-conditioning needs!

Air Patrol serviced both of my AC units. One is working great, one was low on Freon. Both units are older R22 units and they took lots of time going through my options and answering my questions... and I had a lot of questions! Josiah and Blake both did a great job... they were prompt, professional and very courteous. Sean, the owner, returned my call to discuss my options very quickly and was happy to explain it to me twice. :-) When everyone else was trying to book me 3 weeks out, Air Patrol was here within the week and did a fantastic job. Great price on their AC tune up services and Freon. Will absolutely be calling them again... Highly recommend!! You should give them a call!!!

Today Josiah came out today to perform the annual A/C maintenance on my unit. Of course he was very polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Ive been using Air Patrol for over 8 years so Ive dealt with Shawn and many of his technicians. All of them have been great to work with. So now I expect excellent service when they come out and Im never disappointed.Its rare to find a company that really cares about their customers and provides excellent reliable services consistently. Its nice to know that whenever I need maintenance, repair or replacement of my HVAC unit, I can rely on Air Patrol. Theres never any worries when the technician will show up or if the repairs, if any, are truly needed. I have used other companies in the past, but the quality of the services that they provided arent even close to what Air Patrol provides.

I called Air Patrol on a Thursday morning regarding having an AC installed in my garage. Shawn returned my call and came out the very next morning (Friday) to give me an estimate. He gave me the estimate and said he would call me later that day once he checked availability on the unit. To my surprise he actually called me back!! I was scheduled for install for Monday morning! His crew showed up on time and worked very efficiently and had the unit installed and running by noon. I cannot express how impressed we are with this company. They did a great job and everything looks and runs great!! So nice to deal with a business that actually does what they say they are going to do. I was looking for a carrier dealership and took a chance on this company. For the last 3 years they have been taking care of 2 new infinity units and last summer I had an issue with one thermostats because of a sensor inside the thermostat that could not be changed so they replaced the thermostat. I could not get the new thermostat to synch with their app when I called Carrier they told me to go back to Air Patrol to fix the problem, and Air Patrol is doing a much better job helping me out than the Carrier company did. I highly recommend Air Patrol company.

I was very happy with my first annual check up for my HVAC. I went off reviews to find air patrol, and I am so happy I did. The technician was on time, friendly, and answered the questions I had.A few days later, my in laws had water dripping out of their ceiling from an overflow on their hvac. I recommended air patrol, and they were there on a Sunday within an hour. Different technician this time, but he , too, took the time to answer questions and took time to describe the problem. Even though it was a Sunday, they were charged a very reasonable amount.I highly recommend this company. Thank you!!

Got a new AC unit and furnace from Air Patrol for upstairs two months ago,and a unit and furnace for downstairs last year. And as they say, installation is everything. The owner Shawn came over both times and measured the area and specifically the upstairs was very restricted as far as the air flow goes. He suggested, and threw in for free, 3 intakes and 4 vents. There was hardly any airflow before the install and its a large upstairs with office, media room, game room, 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms. Needless to say the installers did an outstanding job and it gets to 68 degrees in less than 30 minutes no matter what the temp is in the summer. And its nice and hot this past few days that weve turned on the heater. Both are working excellent. The price was awesome. Every other quote I had was astronomical. Air Patrol was very reasonable and they added all the extras in for free which was great. Long story short, I never leave reviews, but they really deserved it and there you have it. Customer for life.

Air Patrol is how a company needs to be run. They are honest and caring. We had our heat go out in late November. Air Patrol had only quoted us on a new unit. We were not even their customer yet Shawn came over and fixed our heater for free (all it needed was a fuse). Another company was going to charge over $700 for a new board. Shawn said he was in the area and wanted to help us if he could. They earned our business and our new unit was installed in January and it works great.

Great Company and Great Service! Our system was 15 years old. And, it was not installed correctly (many service companies told us this). We decided to bite the bullet and install a new system. AC and Heating. We had several bids. One stood out. Shawn spent the most time explaining what was wrong with the system, the options available to use and the improvements needed to make an efficient system. Not a replacement system, an efficient system. Of the five bids we received, not one covered, in detail the improvements we needed. We do not buy on price. We buy on cost. This is where Air Patrol really stood out. Not only was his bid solid, his installation crew really showed the level of care and professionalism we hoped for. The crew showed up on time and went the extra mile to (a) make sure everything in the house was taken care of (b) explain everything they would do over the two days and (c) make sure they they did it correctly. And, they did. The Carrier system they installed immediately made a huge difference in the house. Thank you to Shawn and his installation crew for making such a big decision easy and pleasant!

Air Patrol was great. I had a bad experience with my previous HVAC company, so Air Patrol was a breath of fresh air (excuse the pun). After contacting the office, the owner Shawn called me directly and met with me the next day as he patiently listened to all the HVAC issues I was having while giving me a quick history lesson on AC as well! He didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need and actually tried to steer me away from more expensive options, which pleasantly surprised me. He also gave me very reasonable prices and continued to be very responsive to all my calls, texts and emails. His technicians, Beto and Francisco, came out a couple days later and did a great job on all the repairs. They were extremely polite, personable, professional, and patiently addressed other questions I had. Highly recommend Air Patrol and look forward to working with them again in the future!

He pulled a big favor for us, his concern was that I was comfortable due to me being pregnant. He also does our maintenance for system needs, prices are very reasonable. We had two heating and air conditioning units replaced with new Carrier Systems. We expected the project to take at least a day and a half. The technicians showed up on time to do the work; two inside, and one out working on the outside units. In a half a day they completed the work. They were very polite, wore booties inside, and left our home looking just as clean as when they arrived. When I looked at the installation I was amazed at how much neater it was compared to the last one. They were very professional and explained how the Thermostats worked and answered any questions we had. The office in my home has always been stuffy, very little air flow even with two ducts. Before Air Patrol, another company came out and suggested I add a fan to the duct for a very high price. I got a second opinion from Shawn at Air Patrol and am very glad I did. It turns out that three of my ducts were undersized and not putting out much air flow. The plan he proposed was to enlarge the size of the ducts to give me more air.In spite of being a record heat day, Beto and Francisco arrived early this morning, with a very refreshing can-do attitude and willingness to do the job right. Even though they had never been here before, they were obviously well instructed in the plan and carried it out perfectly. They were very professional, helpful, caring and very respectful of my property. They covered my carpet with clean tarps and wore shoe covers. Even with the heat, they worked efficiently, quickly and accurately to correct the installation of my ducts. I am now happily enjoying cool air in my home office. Beto and Francisco are to be commended for excellent customer service and doing a terrific job in fixing my duct issues, all the while being courteous, caring and respectful. So refreshing to work with such professionals. You cant do any better than Beto, Francisco and Shawn at Air Patrol. Ill be calling them back when its time for the regular tune-up. Thank you so much!

The folks at Air Patrol did a great job with our recent home HVAC replacement. Shawn, the owner, personally came to the house and gave us several options, explained the features of each unit and helped us make the right choice for us. The install was scheduled promptly and the office verified the appointment and completed a COVID-19 assessment the day before. On installation day, the team (Ramon, Yorman and Francisco) arrived on time and completed the work the same day. They respected our house, using both shoe covers and floor covers during the install. After completion, the team gave us a guided tour of the install and a demonstration of the thermostat set up along with all documentation, including approved city permit. This is the 3rd installation Air Patrol has done for us and we continue to be very satisfied.

They were the best rated company on Google and Angies list. They had the best prices of the 3 companies I called. They did such a phenomenal job I keep recommending them to other people. One day my thermostat went out, and they were their the next day and said the fix was free as it was under warranty. The owner himself showed up to my house to do the fix. He is a super outstanding individual. I wish that all companies operated like air patrol. He even remembered from a year ago that I was an elementary school teacher. They take true pride in their work and dont take any shortcuts. Did I mention our house is a more comfortable temperature now and our electric bill is cheaper!!!2-18-21Update. So my Heater stopped working, so I called them this morning. I told them I had some 1500 watt mini heaters and Id be fine for a couple of days. (If youre reading this a few years now, Today is one of the SUPER SNOW days that Texas had where school was shut down for a week, businesses as well. Electrical was blacking out everywhere. The city I live in had us boil water because the water treatment plant couldnt handle the weather, needless to say the roads were MISERABLE.) I really thought they would be SUPER backed up, and tell me it was going to be a week, but WOW they surpassed my expectations AGAIN. They were here TODAY. They came through the REDICULOUS roads, and fixed my thermostat, and DIDNT even charge me. Its part of the warranty I understand, but Ive never seen a company stand by their warranty as well as Air Patrol. Just incredible.

When our aging furnace needed replacing we found Air Patrol by doing research. They are professional in every way their prices were the best. Shaune was willing to work with us to keep our air conditioner for the time being. That was 2008. We just repaced the air conditioner 2016. They were able to make the units work together great. The prices are great. They are fast and efficient. They really know their heating and cooling which a lot of the people weve used over the years do not. We have recommended them to friends who also used them for replacement and were pleased. We also get their maintenance service.

They worked all day yesterday until early evening to make sure that our new a/c system was installed & running. The guys that were in our home were very polite & friendly. They also did a great job cleaning up all debris. They removed our old a/c system and hauled it off. Josiah came out today to do the maintenance on the heater and he was awesome. He checked the entire system and then told me everything he found. When my aging Bryant system finally stopped working after nearly 20 years, I got bids from three different HVAC companies to do a full system replacement. After reviewing the proposals, I decided to go with Air Patrol. The experience and expertise demonstrated by the owner, Shawn, during the assessment of my current system was a major factor in that decision. It was clear to me he was fully vested in making sure I got the right system installed for my house, and that I would be completely satisfied with it. On top of that, he provided an extremely detailed proposal (with several new system options) which itemized all the things that needed to be done (e.g. re-ducting, new return ducting, gas line re-routing, refrigerant line re-routing... etc). All of that gave me the confidence to choose Air Patrol to do the job. I opted to go with the Carrier Performance 17 (5 ton) system, which was similar to the Bryant system Id had for years, but was a step up with 2-stage cooling and heating. The work was performed over 2 days at the end of March 2021 by a three-man team: Beto, Yorman, and Francisco. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to answer all my questions made me feel immediately comfortable with them performing the install. They did an amazing job! The quality of their work was outstanding and the new system is functioning great. They made a potentially stressful experience a good one, and I couldnt be happier with the result. Based on this experience, I can highly recommend Air Patrol as a top-notch HVAC company that delivers on its promise of a quality install.

My last review was on 6/17/2011, I cannot believe it has been 5 years! I have since purchased a new home and I have had some home warranty work done. The companies that came out were just fine, but when I was ready to have a larger job done completed, I knew exactly who I wanted to call. The problem was that the master bedroom upstairs stayed consistently 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the home. Since it was only May, I knew the Texas summer would kill us. I had a few thoughts going in when I called Air Patrol, but Shawn came back with an even better solution that was not only in my budget, but allowed me get some additional work done that was necessary. Now, I have a master bedroom that is perfectly cold (actually really cold at times, but Im not complaining!), I have some really solid duct work done that made additional space in my attic (woohoo!) and I can now easily access my air filter (it was impossible to do so before!).Shawn and his crew are terrific to work with. This company is without a doubt the best Ive dealt with over many years with repair/replacement. Our old unit (one upstairs and another downstairs) were well past serviceable life. Sean presented several options and I went with his judgement and pricing (far better than any others) and havent look back. He was honest and said the upstairs system was bad, but working and came back and installed a new unit a couple of years later. Went with more efficient systems and it has really made a difference. If I leave a message that I want to talk to Sean, they make sure that is who calls me back - not just some technician. 5 stars for Air Patrol, more for Shawn Gazor. Ten years ago Air Patrol installed complete new Carrier HVAC systems (2 units) at our home when one of our old units failed. After getting bids, we chose Air Patrol because of Shawn’s professionalism, expertise, thoroughness, and courtesy. For ten years the systems have cooled and heated our home flawlessly, with ZERO MAINTENANCE. Recently our condensate drain lines clogged (it just happens, no flaw or fault of Air Patrol) so I scheduled a service call with AP. On the day of our scheduled service the AP office called and explained they needed to reschedule our appt because their crews were all working overtime at the homes of people without AC due to the excessively hot weather that had just arrived (I completely understood, our situation was not urgent and I’ve been in that sweaty, no-AC situation). Ten minutes later, the same Shawn who had so impressed us 10 years ago, called to say he himself, the owner, was coming to address our routine, non-urgent issue. He arrived early and fixed the problem pronto, including a minor upgrade to our systems. We will never go anywhere else for HVAC, neither will you after you work with Shawn. Trust me, call Air Patrol and discover the Shawn experience yourself.

Found Air Patrol via a friends referral. Im 62 and consider myself fairly handy in home repairs. Ive always worked in blue collar jobs and for the most part, lived pay check to pay check. When youre on a tight weekly budget, you have to save when and where you can. I understand completely, the anxiety that comes with your house heating up and then shortly thereafter, realizing the A/C is not working. I, like most folks, scramble to find a reputable repair service company with proven bonafides and reviews to back them up. On a whim, I phoned my friend and ask if he knew of a good, honest HVAC repair company. He did and thats why Im here writing this review. Air Patrol, its owner and technician responded to my call immediately. After performing extensive diagnostics on my outside unit, Beto, the technician told me my problem was inside the house. This is where honesty comes into play. Beto opened the air handler panel, checked continuity on the thermostat and walked directly over to the control board in the air handler. Upon brief inspection, noticed a loose compressor wire. he called me over and showed me. He then connected the loose wire and the system was up and running. It has been three weeks now and my system is running perfectly! Shawn, the owner, has made several follow-up calls to me to check on my system status. Now thats customer service! I wont share details of what I was charged, however, I can tell you it was more than fair. If not for Betos honesty, Ive couldve been sold parts or equipment that I didnt need. When I thanked Beto for his honesty, he pointed to the Cross I wear on a chain and stated thats why we must always be honest. I feel blessed to have found Air Patrol and would recommend them to every family member and friend that I have.

UPDATE 2022: AC was out. They (Brandon and his associate) came out next morning and diagnosed that a wire had come loose on the compressor outside. Fixed that, tested freon and topped off, washed the coils and even installed a new air filter. No upsell, just fixed it, with honesty. When I do need a new system (probably next year) these guys will be my choice.My AC was struggling to cool in the afternoons so I called out Air Patrol. They came out the next day, diagnosed that my coil needed to be washed off and needed some refrigerant. After completing the fix, he checked the output from the vents after with a temp gun and sure enough it was cooling properly. Gave me advice on a new unit (mine is 10 years old) if it went out. No pressure, no upsell, just honest work from an expert. THANKS AIR PATROL AND THANKS MA FOR THE RECOMMENDATION>

Outstanding! Super experience. Highly recommended. This was a complete replacement of my upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems. The upstairs was an original York from 1999 and the downstairs was a Frankenstein of old and newer mismatching components. If I was getting 10 SEER out of either it was a miracle. The experience started with Shawn, who is also the company president, arriving to walk the house and determine the requirements and what our best options might be. He was very professional and friendly. Not condescending, did not play the Im the expert so do what I say game. He was very knowledgeable, patient and willing to explain and respond to questions. Did not upsell at all. In fact several times he made suggestions that actually would save me money.He provided a proposal with the Carrier basic Comfort and high Infinity tier options. He didnt try to sell me on either. He just gave me the facts... pros and cons and pricing. Ultimately I decided on the middle tier Performance line, two stage systems for both upstairs and downstairs. I really wanted two stage systems. I had received three other proposals from different companies and different manufacturers. They all quoted me single stage systems that were thousands higher than was Shawn quoted for this Carrier two stage. Their two stage pricing was so far out there I didnt ask to include them in the proposals. Really makes you wonder since Carrier, Trane, Lennox are relatively close or at least not as far apart as the numbers thrown at me. In fact the Trane guy (the highest proposal by far) quoted a single stage and came back with the old switcheroo and quoted a RunTru which was not even discussed. I even had a Goodman two stage quoted and it came in a few thousand higher. Hmmm...Makes you question a lot of things. Do your homework (or just use Air Patrol).The crew of brothers - Charlie, Cesar and Alex - were great. Hard working, Super polite, professional, and friendly. Quick, clean work. Protected the home when entering, cleaned up and left the home as it was when leaving. They did not shy away from effort and being creative, which showed when I needed a wire run from the attic to the downstairs thermostat to handle two stages.It really was a pleasure to have them do the work and I plan to use them for many years to come for my HVAC needs. Oh and they warranty 2 years on labor without any stipulations that I need to signup for a lifetime of their maintenance program (like some others)

The Techs got here right on time. Had a doctors appointment later on in the afternoon which I couldnt miss. They came in, laid down tarps, which was very nice because it was really lousy weather outside, and they had to make multiple trips back and forth to the truck. They brought in the new furnace and processed to go to work. Lifting the new unit and lowering the old one was a huge task, but they completed the project with time to spare. They even did a few things that I was not expecting like cleaning out my filter and spraying the drip pan to keep it from rusting. All and all, I was quite please with the crew and the new furnace. In my home I have 2 HVAC systems that needed to be fully replaced. I, of course, had 6 different companies out to compare prices and services. After all of that I have learned alot about HVAC systems, functionality, parts, etc. I was quoted $14k-$11,600. Shawn, the owner, sent someone the same day to come have a look. I still had many others showing up the next day and none of the companies could beat what Shawn was offering as far as equipment, financing options, price, and time to come in asap to begin this 2 day project. Shawns employees showed up earlier than expected and began work immediately. The first day, they mustve spent 11 hours and took maybe a 30 min lunch break. They were quiet, efficient, and professional. The 2nd day they showed up early again. They worked until the project was complete. They didnt even take a lunch break that day. Ive had my units for almost 2 weeks now. Coldest air ever. Also, I was waiting to write a review because I wanted to give some time to see if anything would malfunction. Yesterday, I noticed my downstairs unit wasnt kicking on. I texted Shawn and he was immediate to call me and help guide me on what could be the error. Still nothing. Shawn offered to come over right away. It was near 6pm and told him it could wait til tomorrow since it wasnt dire. He showed up the very next morning, early. Turns out there was just something that needed to be disabled instead of enabled on some user preferences on our new touch screen thermostat. I am always weary about things and expenses like this. Called them out to diagnose an error code on a carrier furnace. Communication by phone / text was outstanding, and they were quickly able to determine that some small adjustments to the air flow was all that was required. I will be coming back to them for all my future HVAC needs.
