Bruce and his team did an excellent job in installing a new heating pump. They were professional and they showed up on time. Taking out the old unit and making sure the new unit was installed and working before leaving. He even helped by adding vents in the bathroom. That didnt have any before. His team was also able to blow in insulation to my attic at a small cost more.

Advanced Texas Air was a referral from a friend. I had been quoted $4,500 for a repair from 1 a/c company. The tech from Advanced Texas Air confirmed the problem but the quoted repair cost was $1,000 less. I still didnt want to spend $3,500 on a 10 year old system. I talked with both a/c companies about options and ultimately decided a new system was my best option.Bruces opinion was a heat pump was the better option for my all electric home. Bruces price with a middle of the road heat pump by Rheem was better than the furnace/ condenser combo from the other company.Bruce & his crew arrived on time for the installation. The installation took about 5 hours. The cleaned up after the installation. Advanced Texas Air filed my warranty paperwork. A/c is working great.Im a happy customer.

They were on time and worked efficiently all while being nice to me. The last tune up on the furnace they even checked the filter and seeing it had just been changed, did not change it again ! Bruce and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. We shopped around at several places when starting to look for a new AC unit. It is a huge investment and we wanted it to work well. He was not pushy and not trying to upsell. He also wasn’t skimping on the product that he thinks does a good job. He listened to our complaints about performance and explained how we could make it a bit better for a room that always ran hot in the summer. He gave us several options and walked us through the pros/cons of each so that we had the knowledge to decide what is best for us. When it came time to install he had availability quickly. He was present for the whole install. He and his team were timely the day of the install and cleaned up everything when they were done. I didn’t think installing an AC unit could be enjoyable but Bruce made it very simple. Bruce will be our go to AC guy for any further maintenance or when we need to replace our next unit. We have not hesitated to recommend him to friends and family either.

I had Advanced Texas Air come out for my seasonal check for the first time in May. They checked everything, said it was running smoothly, just need some freon, which wasnt out of line. The tech was knowledgable, informative, punctual and thorough. I signed up for their maintenance plan which I felt was a good value.Yesterday I called mid afternoon because my thermostat was saying C299 and not functioning. Bruce answered, I could tell he was at a job and I told him it wasnt an emergency, it was just starting to warm up in the house. I didnt think I would see him for at least a day or two. He stopped by in a couple of hours and it turned out the thermostat, a relatively new Nest, needed batteries. I know he wont always be able to do that but I certainly appreciated it yesterday!I am thrilled with the customer service I get from Advanced Texas Air. The previous companies I had out either wanted to the replace the unit (that is still functioning well!) or do some maintenance that was at least $1,000. (That must be the techs sales quota for those companies that advertise so much.)I had heard about Advanced Texas Air from some friends who use them for both their commercial and residential properties. I highly recommend them!

Our AC unit was low on Freon so I had three companies come out to see what’s going on. Bruce was the only one that offered to do a leak check to see if this was something that could be repaired. After it was determined that it wasn’t repairable I decided to sign with him as he not only had the best price by a good amount but also had a no pressure sales approach. Install went smoothly and he registered the new AC unit for us as I received an email. It’s nice to have a company you can trust.

Definitely a company you can trust to do it right! The maintenance plan is great value; they make valid recommendations and keep the systems operating perfectly. When one of the units went out just recently, they provided options with estimates (and a discount because of the maintenance plan), and completed replacement of indoor unit and condenser quickly, in one day. New unit is amazingly quiet and is using less power (we track usage with an app). City inspector said it was a great install and was impressed with the sealing of the unit to the ducts; he passed on first visit. I could not provide a better recommendation.

Great experience - Bruce went out of his way to drive across the city to help in the middle of an ice storm. He quickly put together estimates for new HVAC system options, and was able to have an entirely new system successfully installed in the house within 2 days. I am a new customer. The company did not ask me to write this review, I initiated the review because I am impressed with Advance Texas Air Conditioning! Heres my brief story: I had been a long term customer of another air conditioning service (for over 10 years) but due to the poor attitude of the owner/technicians I decided to check out another service provider. I was a little hesitant as honestly there are a lot of air conditioning services in this area and truly one is at the mercy of their technology and their honesty and efficiency. I selected this company due to their outstanding google reviews. I placed my call in the heat of the summer. I filled out the online form and was contacted within the hour. I explained the situation and the response was courteous and professional. The service call was scheduled within a resonable time frame. When your air conditioner starts to fail in the middle of a hot summer it is very anxiety provoking. I have animals that will suffer more than I if the heat in my house goes over 85 degrees. Chris was my initial service tech and Chris was my second visit service tech (first and second calls were within a month and they were unrelated technical issues) and Chris knows what he is doing. He has years of service experience in the field. So not only have I called them once but twice this summer! The receptionist, the owner and the service techs have all responded professionally and courtestly, I am not only a happy customer but look forward to many years of great service from this air conditioning provider!! My outside unit had been out for about a week and I was getting the run around from my home warranty assigned contractor. I was told to find a new AC guy so I did, after calling several vendors (none of which wanted to work on home warranty stuff) I found one that knew a guy, Bruce...Long story short, the home warranty company denied my claim, but Bruce took care of me anyway, gave me plenty of options to deal with it and made it much more affordable then just being left high and dry with a huge bill.He showed up when he said he would, he was respectful and courteous beyond expectations and knew his business better than anyone who has ever worked on my AC units. I would recommend him to anyone needing anything done with your home AC systems and I will not use anyone else again!

I have used advanced Texas Air Conditioning three time in the past three years. They seem to be good folks and their prices seems to be fair also. The last job was when I called them on a hot Saturday afternoon at 7:27pm. I caught Bruce, the business owner, at a family gathering. Rather than setting me up for a next day appointment, he spent about 15 minutes explaining the possible causes of my AC not cooling. It turned out my frozen coil was due to restricted air flow caused by a dirty air filter. I changed the air filter and no service appointment was needed.The reason I’ve posted this review is because I’m truly touched by his integrity.

Edit: This review shows I have used Bruce.. A lot. Nothing to do with his skill, I just had malfunctions in 4 systems spread across two houses. That is more a review of the original equipment manufacturers. Bruce is great and I have had zero problems with his service. So read the great review of Bruce, he deserves every bit of it. He must be deserving of a great review if you read my reviews of other places, you should get a belly laugh out of my latest review of a Holiday Inn Express in Arkansas.Cant say enough great things about Bruce. First, and most importantly, he is honest. I had done my research and knew the problem. I saw the costs involved to swap out a blower motor and was hoping I didnt have the variable speed motor that costs $1500 to repair.I had the variable speed motor.Bruce found a cheaper, new replacement motor, which cut the cost in half.This was my second time using Bruce. My repairs were done in under 12 hours! This time I called on a Friday at 6pm, work done the next morning. Only took that long because Bruce had to get the part, but the parts store was closed.Edit:UpdateI had to call Bruce again. Got a text from my neighbor saying my a.c. was making a loud noise that was not normal. Arrived at my house to find that some jackass broke into my garage while I was gone for a few days. They tried to steal the a.c. unit outside, but I wish they were. The burglars bent and twisted the copper lines, causing everything to overheat and burn up. I had to pay for a whole new system.Again Bruce was prompt to arrive. The new unit was installed quickly and correctly. Again Bruce found a way to save me money on the new unit.So, from a tune up to a new system, call Bruce at Advanced Texas Air Conditioning!

I cannot say enough good things about Advanced Texas Air Conditioning! I got back to my house from being out of town for 4th of July weekend, only to find that my AC broke while gone. My HVAC unit was original with my house and was approaching 16 years old. In the last couple years, Bruce was always helpful and accommodating when making repairs to get it working again, so when it came time to replace my unit, I knew exactly who to go to.Not only is my new unit making my house comfortable, but Bruce and his crew installed it quickly, efficiently, and it looks fantastic. This team was unbelievably professional and ethical. That’s a difficult find these days as I’ve lived in Plano for 40 years and I’m very picky about who I’ve used in the past. They weren’t just doing a service repair, they genuinely cared which is a rare find. And to top it off they gave me a candle as a parting gift! June 9th, I replaced my condenser fan motor. Tonight, (June 20th) at 7:04 pm, my condenser completely shut down and the house was rapidly heating up. I started the mad scramble to try to find an AC repairman.I did an Angie’s List search and Advanced Texas Air Conditioning “popped” up. I knew from previous searches that after requesting contact via Angie’s List, I would likely generate several calls. As the sweat began to form on my forehead, I decided to contact Advanced Texas Air Conditioning . I left a message and immediately received a call back from Bruce. Shockingly, after hours on a Saturday Bruce agreed to come take a look at my AC.Bruce arrived, determined that my newly installed fan motor was not working and rapidly changed the motor. I try to fix everything that I can so I used the time to bug Bruce while he fixed the AC. I found Bruce to be very knowledgeable and of the highest integrity. He didn’t try to up-sale me or find phantom issues in order to make more money. My mothers HVAC unit went out recently, and she asked me to refer her to an HVAC technician. I did a lot of research and sent her to this business based on the other positive reviews I had read.I normally do my own repairs, but when dealing with HVAC systems and the high voltages and high pressures associated with that, its better to leave it to the professionals.I was highly impressed on how they treated her, and the high quality of work they performed. Yvonne had nothing but positive things to say about their work, and I plan to refer family and friends to this company in the future. They didnt try to rip her off, or upsell her to a new unit that wouldnt be needed. They told her the most economical way to get her unit cooling again and provided great prices.They had to come out twice, the first time to repair wiring damage and a refrigerant refill. The second time they replaced the 20+ year old compressor. The heating and cooling works flawlessly now is what Im told.
