Three years ago my bride, Jackie and I felt that it was time to look at some options. Yard work was transitioning from a hobby to a chore. Home upkeep and repair were consuming more of our budget; plus we were living in half of our old house, but paying taxes on the whole thing. We sought something newer and smaller. We were too late for the Debby Lane Ladera, and we werent keen on moving in with a bunch of old geezers, so assisted living communities were out of the question.Huge Mega Neighborhoods with private golf courses and prohibitive dues werent appealing. Neither were six story apartment buildings with limited privacy and a walks through the rain, or heat, to the car. (Just imagine the race for the stairs on the fifth floor when the fire alarm goes off at midnight.) We looked at a nice +55 community of attached homes, (duplexes and triplexes.) It had great floor plans but zero amenities and little privacy. So how do you deal with the deaf neighbor playing the stereo, or TV, in the middle of the night?Then we discovered Ladera at the Reserve. This month is our third anniversary, and it has been a joy. There are the typical new construction issues, every new home has some of that. We love the sanctuary of our freestanding home and the amenities are a delight. But, the best part of being a Ladera resident, without a doubt, is the strong community bond of friends and neighbors. All of us, like minded folks sharing common interests, goals, at similar places in life, with similar experiences. It is just great. We have only one regret. Bonnie and I have lived in several new homes in the Mansfield area. We are of the age where we no longer need the large two story home. When we discovered Ladera at the Reserve, we knew this is what we wanted, no more yard work and no outside repairs. What we did not expect, was a caring, loving community of like minded people. We have developed more friendships here, than in any community before and a monthly calendar full of activities. Come join us, it is a great lifestyle.

My name is Randy Dollgener and my wife is Carol. We have lived here for 2 years and 2 months. We love the community and our neighbors. We loved the lock and go aspect and was one of the reasons we came to check it out. It’s so much more than that now that we’re here. The neighbors are awesome, and lots of fun activities for everyone. We would recommend it to anyone.

Jim and I have lived here almost 3 years, and we love our home and this community! We travel a lot so the lock and go is great because the COA fees cover all the outside work plus watering! We have so many activities and you can choose to be as active as you want. Everyone is so nice, and we all help each other, we love our Ladera Family! Come check out this over 55 living, we have pickle ball, swimming, game nights and more!

We love our home and the Ladera lifestyle. The neighbors are amazing! We are surrounded with like-minded people and enjoy spending time with them.The Ladera lifestyle offers fun activities and we do our best to attend as many events as we possible. We highly recommend Ladera at the Reserve.

My wife and I have lived here almost three years. We simply love our neighborhood and new friends. There are so many activities to get involved with. Pickle Ball, Yoga, Card playing and game night just to name a few. If you are looking for a loving, caring and fun community, Ladera at The Reserve is it.

I have lived here for 2 years and am very happy with the neighbors I have. Everyone are like minded and very friendly. That is I was looking for. Many activities to do with very active people. New management has made things much better in recent months.
