    Working with Vision Design & Build was a positive and amazing experience! Everyone knows building a home can be stressful and sometimes things dont go as well as expected. We built a home during the COVID pandemic and with labor and material shortages and all the unknowns, Bryan and his staff did a great job managing all the aspects of the project while keeping my project on schedule and budget!Design - I met with the designer and team on my lot and he interviewed me to get my thoughts and ideas of what I liked and wanted in a home. The output and final design home design is perfect, and I would not change a thing!Build & Project Management Process - We closely monitored every step of the build, and every question or concern was addressed promptly, to the point of 100% satisfaction.I cannot express how grateful and happy we have been with our new home. We moved into the home in 2022, and I can honestly say, I would recommend Vision Design & Build!Thank you, Brian, Mike C, Tammy, Jim, Cristina, Johnathan & staff!

    (More of a 4.5/5 but would rather round up than down)We recently had Vision Design and Build create an addition to our home, and overall, we had a very positive experience! While the process wasnt entirely smooth, we’re grateful for the final result.Early on, we faced some challenges with their architect, who made changes several times to our plans without informing us or getting approval. Thankfully, near the end of the project, he was no longer with the company. Despite this hiccup, the rest of the team truly made the difference. David, our construction manager, and Christina, the design and process specialist, were absolutely fantastic.VD+B stuck to our contracted price, communicated clearly, and were incredibly helpful whenever a change was needed on our part.     I have been very pleased with Vision Design & Build. I had a major project that involved removing a complete kitchen, entry, and family room down to the slab. They thoroughly redesigned a complete half of our 3100 sq. ft. and added a butler kitchen and a second story that included a second story terrace, porch, and carport. The final size of the house came to 4480 sq. ft. This was as complete a project as can be described from the ground up. We have been very satisfied with Vision Design & Build with their attention to detail and resolve to make our project as we expected. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs and concerns were met. Their focus was always about making it right and satisfying our requests and needs.

    Let me start with the positives. Other than add ons that we requested, the project was delivered at the quoted cost. Ultimately, we ended up with a good product that we enjoy very much. Glad we did it then (2017) as it would probably be 40-50% more now!On the less than positive side, after the contract was signed, Bryan showed little personal interest. His foreman quit in the middle of the job and he didnt even tell us. Little things that we had to intervene on were annoying. Chief among them was their plan to reuse old, water stained insulation rather than get new.Frankly, the painters they used werent the best either. Our woodwork is still not as smooth as we would like, even after they redid it, but its livable.Bottom line, we HAD to have a fixed price, Design-Build solution, and they provided it. Our previous experience of hiring an architect (who THOUGHT it would be a $90K project) and talking to contractors, all of whom would have been at least 40% more, was an expensive waste of time and frustrating. If you have a fixed budget, Design/Build is the way to go!Frustrations aside, I am glad we chose to work with Vision!

    The team at Vision Design and Build was very pleasant to work with and came up with amazing design ideas. After we moved in, there was an issue that VD&B resolved without complaint. I would recommend this company.

    Our remodel/addition was a challenge in attempts to grow and add onto our newly purchased dream home. We were nervous and hesitant to move forward until we came across Vision Design & Build. Who we were referred to after friends of ours shared & suggested while admiring their bathroom remodel.Our remodel had a few unknowns (plumbing issues). I suppose to be expected.We are pleased to say that we were met with ease and accommodation from our project manager to their design team.Bryan suggested functional ideas to our living environment and had them drawn out for us to understand within a week or two. (Im a very visual person)Hands down to Jonathan for helping us achieve our style and design goals.Will be contacting Vision Design & Build once we are ready for phase two or our detached living for my mother when the time comes.

    We chose Vision Design and Build when we decided to renovate our 43 year old master bathroom. Along with this renovation, we replaced our back door and added lighting to each bedroom. VD&B did all the legwork. It provided design ideas, tile samples for us to consider, helped us with granite choices for countertops, and scheduled all contractors. Our project manager, David, was responsive and easy to work with. The bathroom and all other work done looks great. We are very pleased with the outcome.

    Genuinely happy with Bryan and his team at Vision Design & Build. We were desperate for a home addition to our country home to accommodate the needs of our growing family. From the very beginning they came out and treated us with respect, and we were thoroughly impressed with their ideas of what we could do to suit our needs. 6 months later and on schedule despite over a month of rain in the spring of 2015, we were completely blown away at the quality of work and the craftsmanship in our new home. We added over 2000 sq. feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, another set of stairs, a loft, and remodeled our kitchen and added more covered front porch space. It turned out great and a year later there isnt anything we would change. We even loved a lot of the crews that came out to work. If we ever had an issue Bryan, Tammy, or Jim were always there to address it and take care of it and put us at ease. I highly recommend Vision Design & Build over many of the other builders and remodelers in the San Antonio area. We had a few come out prior to finding Vision and we were not treated with respect, or were simply told what we wanted couldnt be done. They were wrong. Vision did it.

    Working with Bryan and his team at Vision Design was a fantastic experience. When you think about working with a contractor, most people think of the worst case scenarios...cost overruns, delays, constantly changing stories, and lack of trust. None of these would be accurate ways to describe Bryan and Vision Design. They finished ahead of time on budget and with great customer service. Even when problems came up, they were quick to fix any issues and made us feel comfortable with the work that was being done. They even made a few small fixes after the warranty had expired. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home or renovate their current home.

    Bryan is smart and creative. I appreciated his ideas and suggestions. He took what we wanted it and made some smart changes for efficiency in the flow of our house. He also had some good suggestions that saved us money. He and his team are great to work with.
