Cobalt built all the homes in my community, and all of us home owners love living it here. My initial walk through with the new build was friendly and easy, but beyond that they provide a great 1 year warranty which they actually honor with speed and delight. The company founders are friendly, there project manager is knowledgeable and fast, and the subcontractors they source have all the respect in the world for the home they work in. I highly recommend anyone shopping for a home start with a Cobalt home. Excellent quality, and design.Update to my original review: More praise- these builders go above and beyond in ways I would have never expected. They work with fantastic contractors that stand behind their work. If i ever buy new again, Cobalt is definitely going to be my first stop.Update number 2: I’ve now been in my home for almost 4 years and am still incredibly happy. Beyond the home being wonderful, the Cobalt team is amazing. I ran into Zack, one of the owners and he not only remembers my name, he remembers my hobbies, and conversations we had a year ago when we last ran into each other. Anyone buying a home in Austin should start by asking their realtor to show them Cobalt homes.

A great group of people to partner with on a home. I purchased a newly built three bedroom house from Cobalt in 2023. In addition to great architecture and craftsmanship, their high level of customer service has resulted in a great relationship between us. Their team is clearly committed to partnering with you in a professional and responsive way.

These guys stand behind their work and go above and beyond! We bought our home in 2020 as a new build, and we’ve had some recent issues with the home that Zack has personally come over and taken a look at himself. He took care of us when I didn’t know where to start, and every contractor he put to the task has been incredibly efficient and professional in their work. Not only do I love the aesthetic and details of their builds, but I feel safe in our home knowing how much they put quality and clients first. Thank you Cobalt!

My wife and I recently purchased our second home from Cobalt. Our first home was a fantastic starter house for us in East Austin. We were in the hunt for a larger home in the same area and realized Cobalt had just finished a house that was exactly what we were looking for. It was a no brainer that after such a great first experience with them, that would go with them a second time. Their customer service is unmatched. I personally have most of their phone numbers and anything we need with break/fix, questions or even just contacts for different areas, they are only a text away. They really do welcome you into the Cobalt family when you buy from them. Not to mention, the houses they built are top of the line. I would highly recommend Cobalt for your next home purchase!!

I feel lucky to have bought my home from Cobalt. The thought and attention to detail they put into the build is apparent and they went above and beyond to resolve a couple minor issues after the sale. It’s refreshing to see a group with a long-term view on their projects, who are building with intention and standing behind their homes.
