I just got off the phone with Miriam and she is a wonderful lady. I had had a horrible experience with another Builder that I probably would’ve lost $300-$400,000 but she explained to me what I need to look for to protect myself and literally it was the best advice I’ve ever been given and I thank her and she did this without even building a house for me. She gave me her quote on what it would cost to build my house. It’s out of my Budget, but she saved me from a massive headache and I cannot thank her enough as I said if I’m able to come up with some more money, I definitely would hire her to build my house.

My wife and I initially started the new build process with the intention of selling in a few years to make a profit. However, after working with Sorrells and seeing the work they do, I do not see us leaving this beautiful house anytime soon, or ever. Personally having past experience in the home building industry, Sorrells quickly proved to know exactly what they were doing. Meriem runs a well oiled machine! The entire Sorrells team became more than a builder we hired, they became friends. I cannot recommend them enough and hope to win the lottery just so I can have Sorrels build another house to have the same fun experience.P.S To Sorrels, if you are reading this. Thank you for surprising us with finishing 2 months ahead of schedule and allowing my family to enjoy the holidays in the new house.

We loved working with the Sorrells Team!! They were all very friendly and interested in us as people not just as clients. The standard features they offer are high quality and they were willing to customize things we wanted. The team was always available to discuss the project and never acted like they didn’t have time for our questions. We now have a beautiful home and some new friends!

This builder is one of a kind she builds all her homes as if they were her own! The attention to detail and being so helpful every step of the way is unmatched. I’ve heard so many bad experiences from many people building custom homes with other builders. Building our custom home with Sorrells made us feel like we made the best choice. It has always been an absolute dream of mine to one day build and design a custom farmhouse. With the help of Meriem and her team, we were able to accomplish just that. Now, as I write this review, I sit here and admire this beautiful floor plan and cant help but express my gratitude and appreciation to have found and worked closely with Sorrells Custom Homes. After months of research and meeting with potential builders, we came across Thomas Estates and fell in love with the community, the homes and our current build. It was by pure coincidence that Katy and Chris were in the neighborhood and were available to stop by and chat with us. Though we are often calculated in most of our decisions, our entire family felt more at home than any other build we had previously saw or had been to. We knew that this home/location/team was IT and within a matter of 48 hours we were under contract. When you know, you know right? :)Katy and Chris are THE dynamic duo and are both professional and knowledgeable about the home building experience. Katy saw my vision quickly (as we both share very similar design tastes) and was incredibly helpful in bringing all design aspects to life. Meriem however, is the brain behind it all. When you drive down Alex Drive, you will see homes that were built with intention, extensive thought and extreme passion for each family. You can tell she thoroughly enjoys what she does and will go out of her way to make sure your home is exactly what you desire.Due to the amount of builds/projects on board, weekly communication from the team could be slow at times. However, we had no problem reaching out to the team ourselves to check in on the status of our home or ask any and all questions. Overall, Sorrells Custom Homes met all expectations. If we could do it all over again, we would chose them time and time again. Thank you to the entire team for building our dream home! We cant help but admire and fall madly in love with our home every single day. The Whistle Stop Farmhouse is complete!

Meriem and her team have been amazing to work with. You can tell she has been in the home building business for a long time. She is very knowledgable and all of her subcontractors are very knowledgable. We are currently building a second home with Sorrells Customer home because of the great experience we had the first time.
