We have purchased a model home in one of the Our Country Home neighborhoods about 4 weeks ago. Desire has been absolutely amazing in helping us through the process. She was so kind and knowledgeable. Before we signed on the home we met with Mike to walk the home and to fix any issues that we saw, and Mike has been absolutely tremendous in getting the items fixed for us. We still have a few items on the list, but they are working on it and I know they will be fixed soon. Just wanted to say thank you to these 2 great people, and for making us happy to purchase an Our Country Home!

What really stood out was their clear communication—every step of the process was explained thoroughly, and they were always available to answer any questions we had. We just built with OCH @ NorthGlen. We were fortunate to work with Kristi and Fernando. Not only are they great people but they are great at their job. OCH should be lucky to have them. They did an amazing job of keeping us updated throughout the construction process and promptly handled any issues along the way. We have built 5 homes with 5 different builders over the last 20 years so we have valid comparisons. Our overall experience in addition to the quality of our OCH home was far better than any other builder. If we ever build another home, OCH will be our first call.

Jo, at the LeTara community in Haslet was exceptional! Her communication from the first day we met, was amazing. Her hospitality with us was so inviting. She answered ALL of our questions and if she didn’t know an answer, she would find out and immediately get back to us. Her customer service was top notch! She made sure our buying process was as smooth as possible. She truly cared ❤️. Thank you so much, Jo! We will forever be grateful.

We are now 6 weeks into our new Our Country Home house. We were able to take one of their plans and customize it to suit our specific needs. Marsha Crider guided us all the way in the building process, from acquiring the lot through the process of developing a plan. We lived out of state - we moved to the Texas area to be closer to family - and we were a bit apprehensive how building from out of state would work. Marsha called us weekly with updates, and resolved every issue and answered every question. We would visit at least every 3 weeks and were always pleased with the progress. Yes, we did face some initial delays due to backorders on things like windows and doors, due to Covid supply issues, but OCH was up front with us about this. The weather did not always cooperate but that is not OCHs fault either. Michael Clifton was our builder and he was amazing. He took care of every minor issue requiring resolutions and even found small problems to fix that we never noticed. Between Michael and Marsha - our Dynamic Duo - our home building experience with OCH was wonderful from start to finish. They are both professional at what they do, but apart from that, they are just such nice people to deal with as well! We love our OCH house and found the building experience to be easy and enjoyable. The designers at their design center also worked with us, allowing us to easily make the specific that allowed us to customize our selections easy. All of the vendors they used for lightning, counter tops, appliances, and special wiring for surround sound, etc were terrific to work with. All in all, we are so glad we went with OCH to build our new home. We have a lovely home and are so glad OCH built it for us.

We absolutely love our new home! Everyone at Our Country Homes has been so helpful. Especially Jonathan, who has provided so much help in answering any questions I’ve had. We had an issue with our shower (minor issue) but he made sure someone was out to take a look asap! He responded so quickly to my text and calls which was great and gave me peace of mind. Michael and Micah were great in the beginning of our build as well and were very responsive and very thorough during our blue tape walk through. So happy we chose Our Country Homes!

I am a realtor who has worked with many builders. I wanted to give recognition to George who performed my clients blue tape/warranty and final walk through. In all my years in the business this has been the most informative and best walk I have ever had with my clients. George was very professional and explained and pointed out things before we could even show him. He was very professional and put my clients at ease regarding their new home. I highly recommend this individual to be part of your build process with this builder!!

We just purchased our forever home from Our Country Homes and we couldn’t be happier. From our initial visit to move in day all the staff have been amazing. Leann was our sales associate and was most helpful with all of our questions and needs. What a great experience! The warranty team picked up next. Justin and Aaron were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it was time for our walk thru. Great experience for our beautiful new home!

I built my home 10 years ago. For some reason I had two toilet tanks crack and had to replace toilets. After we removed our toilets we couldn’t figure out how to get a new flange on since the floor/ tile weren’t flat. I took a picture and took it to OCH and showed Rodney Hayes ( the warranty dept.) and he was kind enough to send their plumber ( Cassie Vincent) out to replace the flange. He was awesome and gave me some great advice about taking care of my sinks as well. Very pleased that everyone was so responsive since, like I said,I’ve been in the house for 10 years. Thank you Rodney and Cassie.

While looking for a house, our realtor introduced us to OCH. We found a house that had been in the process of being built since 2021. This house was considered a spec house since all colors and materials had already been selected. We got to be a part of the process from the inside framing through completion. We worked with Jo Coursey consistently throughout the completion of the process. She made it possible for us to visit the house on a weekly basis to see the progress of the house. We did, at the encouraging of our relative, hire an inspection company to do a pre-inspection during the framing process and there were quite a few items that were suggested. To our knowledge OCH completed all of these items. They were also available to answer our questions and concerns. We are pleased with the completion of the house including the materials selected and colors. Some of the final finishing paint touchups inside could have been done better, but overall we have no complaints.

We bought a house last year and we love it. It’s not perfect. I can spot several imperfections but considering the cost of building a house, paying workers etc, it’s not bad at all. I’ve seen many homes with extremely poor build quality. The overall build quality with OCH is better than most. I have submitted for a couple warranty repairs and all have been fixed, no questions asked. If you want perfection, get a custom home built to your liking. I think it’s important to be level headed when buying a house. The builders are out there to make as much money as possible. You need to do a 3rd party inspection before buying to make sure no corners have been cut. Get any necessary work done. I am generally satisfied with our buying experience. But it hasn’t been perfect.

Not to mention how super patient George is. He was super busy, but, always made sure to communicate and ensure the projected completed. I had an overall really good experience building with OCH. Marsha Crider and Lisa Goetz are the absolute best agents to work with during the home build process. Marsha was very informative, knowledgeable and helpful during the initial phase of the process. She went above and beyond to ensure I had all the pertinent information needed to make decisions. Building can be very complex but she worked hard to make it simple and easy to understand.And words can’t adequately describe how invaluable Lisa was from contract to closure. I ask A LOT of questions and she provided timely responses and alternatives for my many requests. She was extremely patient, courteous and had an amazing attitude along this journey. I appreciated her insight, professionalism and expertise and couldn’t have made it through the build without her help.Building a house is a large investment and they made this journey not only enjoyable but stress free. I haven’t had any major issues with the house and the few areas of concern were quickly addressed.

We moved into our Our Country Homes custom home in Sangers Heritage West on August 28. To say that we love this home is an understatement! The Our Country Homes team, from the talented and attentive architect (who put our thoughts to paper and designed the most efficient and affordable house within our price limitations), to Harvey Grimes, to Rick Luna, and to George Bennett, were as skilled and cooperative professionals as we could ever hope for!We had heard how difficult it is to build ones own home. So we approached the process...our first...with trepidation. At each step, we came away with a new respect at how easy the Team made it for us. How they listened to our concerns; how they showed patience with our last minute changes and numerous phone calls (thanks, George!); how generous they were with extras. And now, after a little more than six months, we have our Dream Home.Our friends who visit remark at the quality of workmanship…the beautiful cabinetry, high ceilings, tall doors, walk-in shower, granite in kitchen and baths, wood floors, quality tile, masonry extras, and crown moldings. We couldnt agree more! And compared to other builders, Our Country Homes offered us these perks and more square footage at an amazingly affordable price.We plan to stay in this home forever! My fiancé and I closed on our first Home together last October! In working with Our Country Homes, the staff worked closely with us and went above and beyond to make it a great experience and keep us closely updated and in the loop at all times. In regards to our selections for our home, they were extremely helpful by living out our vision. All appliances are high quality and cutting edge. Everybody was a pleasure to work with and very friendly. The process was On Time. We are just so pleased with the owner Dustin Austins focus and attention to detail and the design options were remarkable. Because of their superior customer service, Id strongly recommend Our Country Homes to anyone!

My wife and I have built six homes in various parts of the country (three in Texas). From the first encounter with our OCH team (Brian, Ashley, and Edward) through the build process, it was by far one of the best we have ever had. In building a home, things can go wrong. When they did - especially in the construction - Edward was all over it. The attention to detail and doing things in a proper sequence made a huge difference in the final product!Compared to other builders (in Texas we have built with Highland Homes and David Weekly), their warranty group could stand some process improvements. They could take lessons from these other builders.That said, we absolutely love our new home and compared with other builds, issues after the closing have been minor and quickly addressed by our builder Edward - he is awesome and understands that he is not just building a structure but that it is your home!We highly recommend working with Brian, Ashley and Edward!

We bought a model home from OCH. We had a issue with a water leak in the outside wall. The brick guys put a staple through a water pipe and over time the staple rusted and therefore the leak started. We had to have 20 feet of cabinets removed and dried. OCH was AMAZING to deal with. They were at our house within 30 min of me calling them. They never left until the leak was found and stuck by our side for the next 3 months while the repairs were being done. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy/build another home with OCH. I also want to say the entire buying process we had with them was top notch. Tori Crader wasn’t even our realtor, but treated us like her own client.

We did an exhaustive search when we starting looking for a custom home builder to build our home. We had the entire home specked out and had plans in hand. We met with Our Country Homes and discussed our plans in great detail. They not only created our home from our design, they brought in ideas and features we didn’t even consider. If you want a home you will love forever, and you want it built with the highest quality, then these are the guys for you!!

Weve been in our new home now for 2 months now, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with Our Country Homes. I consider myself to be much more picky than the average Joe, so it was very comforting when our builder, Ryan, answered my call virtually every time I called him, even when we freaked out to him about the brick color we chose when it went up on Christmas Eve!When their head superintendent walked the house with us close to its completion, he found a flaw with the crown moulding in the way it met our bedroom windows, a flaw resulting from us making changes on the fly after they started building. I was surprised to hear him offer to literally completely tear out the electrical, drywall, frame, windows, moulding, and brick to fix it and make it look proper... at no cost to us.The overall features and trim work on the house are just incredible, which was one of the reasons why we went with them: a better-looking finished product.
