Wow! Dont even know where to start. Jeff Ellis and his sons own Kanga Room Systems in Waco, Texas, building pre-fab homes. My husband and I have been watching and researching this company for a few years and loving what we saw. We contacted Kanga last year during the pandemic to have them build a pre-fab home for us, finishing only the exterior. Having remodeled several homes, we wanted to finish out the interior. After signing the contract, Kanga said they had a 4-6 month lead time. It was more like 9 months but that was fine since we could be flexible. The pandemic, coupled with labor shortages, was the issue. Everything about the build was quality and they were the nicest people to deal with. We are located about 3 hours away from Waco but that was never an issue. Needless to say, we are absolutely thrilled with our home and the entire experience. They are a small company so you have to flexible and patient. We are extremely happy with our Kanga Room Systems home and we would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Kanga Room Systems for our new lakehouse!

This is the future. Kanga built us a house and delivered it to a lovely spot in the Texas Hill Country. From sales to design to delivery, Kanga was professional and pleasant to deal with. Why didnt I mention construction? Because Kanga completely made it unnecessary for us as the clients to be involved in the construction phase.A special thanks goes to the on-site post-delivery team. The care they took to make sure everything was perfect was impressive.The quality of the house and materials exceed expectations.

Kanga Room Systems is AWESOME! I am 67 years old and have been around large construction all my life. I own a large business and have worked with employees, property management, etc. Kanga has far exceeded my expectations with my 16x26 Cabana. The quality of construction simply could not be better. The fit and finish is spot-on. Juan was my project construction manager. He and his crew were a shock to observe. It was pure art! Everyone had a task and they worked together as a team. In fact, I feel that this team is as good as any I have ever seen. My wife and I are overjoyed with this entire process. The folks at Kanga ROCK!

We have had a delightful experience with Kanga! Melly and I have loved the “Kanga Look” for years. When we had a spot to put one, we went to Waco and set up our funhouse order! The communication has been great, the folks kind and helpful. We understand construction takes time. We wish our Studio Luxe could simply sprout! But we know the short wait will be more than worth our excited wait. Great company to deal with!

I know I am not the only one..…wanting an extra building/space! Put one out back? We put one out back, on the side, in the front. Oh yes, three Kanga rooms. Bought our current house and downsized, and now needed a work shop, pool house, and dining entertainment area. We did our homework to be sure, all the other brands, all the other designs. We know a thing or two about construction, so our eagle eye was all over this project. Kanga Room Systems was hands down the right pick. Had a bit of a rocky start, COVID and all that presented. Of course there are so many people wanting offices right now, so we were in production line for a while, especially with all the construction shortages. All that to say, Kanga delivered! Amazingly so. Our buildings are so well done and let’s just say it…adorable. Everyone is so very impressed when they see them. And of course everyone wants one. Or two. We had a seriously difficult build site. Kanga delivered over every hurdle. The construction teams were so professional and truly cared that the product exceeded standards. Such attention to details! The team totally dealt with intense summer heat and a surprise stormy downpour of rain, making sure everything was covered properly. Follow up was just as professional, inspection and making sure we were completely satisfied. It is really great to be able to custom design something like this to exactly meet the needs and have it turn out so well. And did I say, the buildings are so adorable!? Oh yeah, so if you want one, it is time to put one out there! Kanga has our confidence.

First of all- we couldn’t be happier with every step of this journey with Kangaroom Systems, their professionalism and quality of work was exceptional. We decided to build at one of the worst times - pandemic, shortages and labor issues, Kanga didn’t miss a beat dealing with these issues and our constant questions and suggestions (lol). We would definitely recommend Kanga Room Systems to anyone wanting a quality building.

While I do not currently own a Kanga Room, I’m in the market for a prefab home, so I stopped in the Waco facility to check out some prefab options they have on site. It was super easy to do a walk-through & I was not pressured to buy anything. I did call ahead, but I don’t know if that’s a requirement to taking a tour.The cottage was my favorite!!

And, for revisiting with one that is professional, friendly, of higher quality, and caring of your customers requirements and needs...which is exemplary of the quality of your products.What we did experience is a product with attention to and that is of high quality, built REALLY well. For the sizes, the high quality and lay outs are and feel very roomy, and are exceptional, at very affordable prices. Especially, as someone who is a perfectionist, and who notices the most minute blemishes, your products are, quite frankly, of much higher quality and build than of home builders in the past decades...reminiscent of how homes used to be made with detail, and to last throughout the years.Especially in this day and age, it is refreshing to experience a return to professionalism, attention to customer service, and quality.Thank you so much for reaching out, and providing a wonderful experience. We look forward to revisiting, and to having an ongoing experience with more of your products.Sincerely...April 15, 2021A friend, who has acreage that he is needing to put dwellings onto, and who was seriously interested, had seen these on the side of the highway. So, while we were in Waco for other business, we decided to stop in and look at and get some information on these...Hoping to get some actual information, before just completely writing this place off, we drove down to the building further down the drive. When my friend went in to ask questions, he was told that they didnt know anything, and that we would need to talk to the person in the office.When we finally left...out of curiosity, anyway, I looked up the information online. Imagine my surprise when, turnkey, the prices were lower than what he stated for just a shell.I dont know if we were interrupting him from something personal, that he seemingly didnt want to help us...or if there is some preconceived notions about what someone looks like, by which he falsely determined not taking us seriously, or if he was just completely oblivious, for total lack of training. Whichever, or whatever it was...it was certainly a big mistake...HUGE!If their sales are down, under the assumption of it being because of COVID19, it is and will continue to be a grave one. Who knows how many other people, who were seriously considering making purchases, have been met with the same? Or, misassumptions made of others whom they did waste their time on. Regardless of which...it is unfortunate, especially when there are people like us who would rather invest of our money in local American businesses, especially in smaller ones, and in mom and pop operations.
