    Ricky did a great job on our home. He inherited overseeing the construction in the middle stages of the project and worked hard to coordinate everything to get it finished. He was very easy to communicate with, responding to our calls and texts in a very timely manner. You’re lucky if you get to work with him as a building manager.Thank you to Casey for getting our dream on paper and getting the ball rolling, thank you to the other GCs we had, and again a big thank you to Ricky for completing it all. Of course as with any custom home build there were hiccups along the way but he and the company were very reasonable in resolving them. We love our new home!

    We had been looking into several different builders who said they did custom homes, but what we found were builders who had a few set styles that can be rearranged; nothing met our unique designs. When we first met with the J.Anthony team we expected more of the same, but were excited when we found they actually created homes based on the client’s vision and not a flipped floor plan with the option of a game room instead of an extra bedroom.During our design appointment we went over all of our inspirations images and how we wanted the house to look. We had many unique ideas that we had never seen provided by anyone else and J.Anthony was confident they could get all of our ideas into the house. When it was time for our initial floor plan meeting, we prepared ourselves that not everything we wanted would be in the drawings, but again our expectations were exceeded when we saw our dream home on paper. From the internal courtyard to the basement layout and the hidden rooms to the master suite designs it was perfect. They even used some of our inspiration designs in the model they were building. Other builders we visited had us choose from a set layout with specific perimeters and with J.Anthony we were only limited by our own imagination.When it came time to see our elevation designs it was a surreal experience. We had nicknamed our home the Chateau over the years we had been planning for it, but seeing it drawn out brought us that much closer to living in our castle on the hill. Visiting the design center along with the granite and quartz warehouses was wonderful and gave us an extensive selection of materials to choose from to create individualized looks for our interiors. We enjoyed working with J.Anthony’s design staff to create our distinct style and knowing exactly what we wanted helped to streamline our time picking out appliances and the details for each room.Building a home is not a simple process and building one during Covid added an additional set of challenges that no one expected and there was no precedent. There are many different crews working together and there will be times that miscommunications happen regarding door placements, HVAC pathways and cabinet designs. Especially when creating a floor plan that was as specialized as ours was and the contracted teams have not seen layouts like it before. The piece that makes everything come together is patience and communication to get things back on track. Tony along with his team at Homes by J.Anthony, have been with us every step of the way to fix every issue and solve every problem to bring our dream home to life.

    We bought a pre-owned J. Anthony home in the fall of 2020. We fell in love with the look of the home and, as our inspector would confirm, found the construction to be top-quality. We sought to finish out an upstairs room and make some overall updates to suit our style. Tony and his team helped us come up with the perfect plans and then expertly completed the construction. Our project manager was professional, expedient and had a great sense of humor – which made the project that much more enjoyable. The subs were professional, courteous, and well-qualified. When we’ve had questions or concerns – everything from previous paint colors to pool equipment options following a major ice storm – Tony and his team jumped in to help. J.     We have had two good experiences having two prior homes built with other builders. This time we went with a custom builder, J Anthony Homes (Tony Prutch). Tony, Casey, Jenny, Michelle, Susie, and Bryan are incredible to work with. Each have their speciality and all under the careful guidance of Tony. Tony is thorough and through all my nervousness, always found a way to make my dream house come true.     We are the Thompson’s and are very excited to announce we have closed on our JAnthony Custom Luxury Home. From the moment we entered into the model home in 2020 we were blown away! Casey greeted us at the door and gave us the tour and at the end I knew I had to do whatever it takes to secure a lot and home. Casey is very knowledgeable about market trends and listens to your concerns and when you think you have an odd requests her response is “that’s easy” Since then we have met the design team and Susan was just phenomenal. This process was a bit much for me and she really held my hand to show me the vision. She doesn’t know it but I was really stressed on designs and Susan helped me get over the hump. I can’t thank her enough! Susan you are Wonderful and would love to design with you again.I have a JAnthony pool and Mike and Aaron made me feel like a seasoned vet when it comes to owning a pool. I was nervous but after pool school with Aaron , My wife can say she has her very own pool boy.     I don’t normally write reviews (positive or negative) about contractors, but feel compelled to do so now regarding my experience with J Anthony Homes. My wife and I purchased a previously owned home, built by Tony Prutch and his team at J Anthony homes, and they agreed to build us a detached 2400 sq. ft. garage as well as complete some modifications to the inside of the home to include a flooring change and converting attic space to a finished game room, as well as a few other items. J Anthony Homes did an outstanding job! This was especially challenging given Covid 19 issues affecting material deliveries and labor shortages. I am incredibly pleased with the high level of communication I received throughout the process (although this is never perfect) and the outstanding quality of the end result. The subcontractors they used are professionals and did a great job. I had no surprise change orders throughout the entire process, which is something that is unusual for large construction projects in my experience. I am thrilled with the design, process, quality and look of the end product and we highly recommend J Anthony Homes to anyone looking for construction in the Lucas/surrounding area. Great people – honest – and great quality!

    This is the first review we have ever written and because the positive experiences have continued for several months - even post sale - we felt compelled to find a way to let as many people know what a fantastic experience this has been.Tony Prutch and his team consistently provided excellent service with gracious and positive attitudes. This happened both pre and post-sale and continues today, months after the sale as we rely on them as valuable sources of information about the area. The same is true of the subcontractors who we have reached out to post sale to help us with additional projects - they are professional, timely and provide high quality work.We found J Anthony Homes by accident. Being new to the Fairview/Lucas areas we looked at quite a few homes to get a feel for the neighborhoods and home styles. Regardless of the age or location of the home, there were certain homes that had an escalated level of quality, design aesthetic and attention to detail. When we found out that the common thread was those were all J Anthony homes nothing else would do for us - we were sold.Then we had the opportunity to meet Tony and get to know the man behind J Anthony homes. Tony is a smart, dedicated, creative, service-oriented business man who has proven to stand behind what he says. And if things don’t go 100% correctly - nothing ever does - he is quick to apologize and fix it. He has exceeded our expectations on so many occasions that we feel compelled to “give back”. He has personally stayed engaged and his commitment to customers seems to be 24/7 because we have talked to him on weekends, late evenings, and early mornings. In fact, he has called on a few occasions, “just to check in”. He has treated us with respect and his actions reflect a vision that has been a large part of our lives - the best deals are those that all parties walk away feeling like they have won. We feel like we have won the lottery in finding Tony and his team of employees, subcontractors, and of course our beautiful home he built.I’ll close with this....if you want to know the measure of a person, spend time with the people that work for him/her. One way or another, the truth comes out. Tony’s team is overwhelming loyal and they all speak incredibly highly of him. The same is true for the trades who subcontract for him. These people are dedicated to him for a reason.

    I would be giving 200 out of 100 if I need to give a score !! Awesome, compassionate, duty bound and a humble person with a vision and creativity is TONY!!He puts his heart and soul in every home he builds and we can’t be grateful enough for making our dream come true !! If it was not for Tony , we could never ever would have had a custom home and our dream would have remained a dream :-( We completely trusted him from the day we met him and could have never been happier for the commitment he had towards our dream home . A special mention of Casey , his manger is definitely needed who was always very responsive and patient and served as a right hand to Tony . We are yet to meet his other staff members whom I assume are extremely talented in their own field and friendly like Casey:-)Our lot was not easy to build . It was a challenge with lot of ground work needed because of all the unevenness and greenery around . We were amazed at the plan he came up with which reflected the numerous hours and effort he put into it . We can challenge that no builder could have even come close to what he presented to us in terms of the drawing of the plan or pricing.With that said , I would end my review now and be tuned for a couple of more reviews since I know it is hard not to praise when you come across such hidden gems 🙏🙏🙏

    JAnthony is one of my favorite custom builders to work with. I have two clients building their homes and the experience has been outstanding. Tony & Casey are wonderful to work with. They listen to the clients needs and go way above and beyond to make them happy. I would recommend JAnthony above all other custom builders in the area. Excellent experience!

    We had never met Tony or anyone who works for him until we decided to build another house. We are not real estate agents and have no connection to the real estate industry or anyone in it. We met Tony in 2016, days after we had visited a model home. Before meeting Tony, we spoke to him on the phone. We called the model home to get some information, but got voicemail and hung up without leaving a message. Tony immediately called us back and allowed us to walk through some completed homes at nine o’clock at night, on a cold, rainy January day. That was the first interaction we ever had with him. We decided to build, and Tony was the only person in the company with whom we had contact. I have seen the internet commentary, warning people, and questioning whether Tony was trustworthy given his tenure with that builder. Well, we can speak volumes on that topic. We signed because of Tony and do not regret it. When Tony left, we were anxious and afraid… afraid we had made a devastating financial mistake. As it turned out, Tony saved us from losing a significant amount of money, having no new home, and losing our other home because we sold it. We would have had no home, and no money to start over, without dipping into savings and investments. For that, we are forever grateful. What I just described are not the actions of a money hungry businessman, fueled by greed, hungry for power, and rich in ego; but morally and ethically bankrupt. That is not the man we know, and have known for 4 years; and it is certainly not the majority opinion of J. Anthony’s 100+ homeowners.Not only did he help us, but during our building process we had firsthand knowledge of the kindness, compassion, and concern he showed for people who were suffering. Most people are not aware, but Tony rebuilt several homes leveled by the tornado in Rockwall in 2016. He was never paid until the homes were completed, he personally absorbed the cost of rebuilding and waited for reimbursement from insurance companies. This totaled into millions of dollars he personally risked for the sake of others. He even had a family living with him and his wife Michelle, homeless victims of the tornado. We witnessed no less than a dozen customers of a defunct builder; left with incomplete homes, exhausted finances, and little options. They were begging for Tony to help them; as no other custom builders in the area were willing to do so. Tony did help, he took over their projects and gave them a home and peace of mind; secure in the knowledge someone cared more about doing what is right, than making money.We had, and currently have, the honor of owning the FIRST home Tony and the J. Anthony team designed and built in 2017. To this day, we are still in awe it is ours, and we have the good fortune to live in such a beautiful home. J. Antony designs are not only stunning, but also personal; catering to the wants and needs of his customers. Tony never tells you “no,” on any request, leaving customers limited only by their budget. We have walked through many of Tony’s houses over the last three years and we are always impressed on how he continues to produce such an amazing product. J. Anthony does not have inventory homes, so when someone publically criticizes a J. Anthony home, what they are actually doing is criticizing the personal tastes of customers. This does not damage Tony or the company--he is a CUSTOM home builder. Comparing J. Anthony homes to tract homes is the absurdity, revealing only the ignorance and agenda of those who partake. As far as warranty issues, there were very few, which were very minor; all completed to our satisfaction, with no argument or resistance from anyone at J. Anthony. Our house is a solid, well built, quality home which survived the tornado last October without a scratch. We don’t know what transpired with these few unhappy homeowners. But what I do know is J. Anthony has built 100+ homes, has very few complaints by actual homeowners--- I’ll take those odds any day.

    I was currently looking in the area obviously for the school district and that’s when we came across J Anthony homes. I ended up purchasing a home from him because we were able to get out basically fully custom design from top to bottom at under fully custom design prices and we did this time and time again both on the interior the house the Exterior and even on my pool exceeding my expectations in all areas .The few times that we had unexpected price increases or differences are problems with the house instead of just telling me nothing could be changed we would actually me and Tony would sit down and we would come up with different solutions that we both later would agree ended up both saving me money on the design but still giving me what I was looking for in the first place by doing it a different way and I think that type of creativity you don’t get from the giant corporate homebuilders you get that type a custom guy next-door you can work with and that’s what I was so impressed that’s why am writing this review.Now that I’ve lived in my house for several years I have found that Tony still continues to be an amazing resource for me helps me with any issues and as far as communication goes I feel if anything I feel sometimes guilty because Tony sometimes makes himself to accessible when I find that I’m putting in on his family timer on his personal time because he still answering his phone on the weekends and after hoursSecondly I found after several years that the effort he put in both on the workmanship and on the materials that we ended up recommending we used to build my house is the difference to why it’s still so enjoyable now.My house has increased in value every year I’ve lived in it and I believe the reason for that is is that the design of the house and how Tony placed it on the lot using some of the existing features that he identified really allows it to get an edge on every other house in the neighborhood.If anybody is interested in a reference for wants to talk to me directly regarding J Anthony homes I would gladly communicate with you just go ahead and email me any of your questions and I’m happy to answer them provide myself as a reference because I’m very happy with how the process worked with Tony’s company.

Upstaies should put Separate laundry and 3 bedrooms 2 baths (one Jack and Jill each with its own commode and one traditional bathroom with shower tub combo.) Home had great kitchen, strange guest room(?) And a party room?? The living room was huge...no need for separate party room. Nexgen suite would be better suited. Be careful of inflated landscape prices. One does not need a tiny bridge over a stream in ones front yard. Kids study area awkwardly placed also. For a million three, I would check out a diff floor plan. Decent sized lots however. Hoa is going to be insane here.
