We purchased a home about 50% built in 2022. Joel from Hewn Construction helped us customize the plan to our desired specifications and went above and beyond. He is a wonderful person and of the utmost quality as a contractor. I highly recommend him for a home build. We hired him again to design and build our Barn. He did an awesome job. We still get compliments two years later.

From our first conversation (which was a chance meeting in West one day) up to closing our experience with Hewn Build Co was top notch. We started at the architects office modifying plans and discussing needs for level entrances, wide doorways, walk in shower, handicap railing in bathrooms to name a few. Hewn Build Co blessed us with an interior/exterior designer (Robin Sliva - Downriver Home Design) to assist with the build process and finishing. We could not have asked for a better partner to guide and look out for our needs during the build & finish process. Communication was great throughout the process with Joel and project manager Jason. We highly recommend Hewn Build Co for a top quality build, honest and open communication along the way.Thank you Hewn Build Co for a beautiful home and for the friends we made along the way. We feel so fortunate to find Joel and his team. The project was to expand our farmhouse. Joel’s timeline never changed and the quote was right on! The quality of work and craftsmanship was incredible. Joel and his team communicated on progress constantly. These guys really took time to care for our existing home as they did our edition.

My goodness! Finding Joel, his company, and group of workers was a godsend for us. They did an amazing job and made our home better than we ever thought it could be. They are some of the most conscientious workers and took care of us through our entire build.Every facet of our dealing with his company was incredible. They kept our worksite very clean, answered any questions we had, and provided us with multiple designs, improvements, and suggestions.Hewn Building Company is definitely at the top of the list for builders in and around the Waco area. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to use him again for any of our needs. On top of his work product, he has the most amazing family you could ever meet.
