I’ve built 4 custom homes and always had to deal with an outside company for custom home plans. DC Custom Homes has it all from the best engineered house planners to amazing home. We dealt with Kate Hendrix designing our plans and she made it very streamlined and the communication was 2nd to none. I’m glad we found a 1 stop shop with DC Custom Homes on our final build!!

Overall, most of the contractors did a good job. Make sure anything said between you and Cody or anyone else is in writing. If not youll tell them something you need, theyll say, we can do that and it doesnt get done.Took two months to have our interior painted by a hack two man crew. They could have probably found a different company, but they didnt. Cost us some points on the mortgage from this delay. Should have taken 3 weeks tops, but I digress.Building a home stinks, I imagine most people have their problems with various companies. Be prepared to have some ups and downs.Would I use them again? Most likely not. I hope if you do, its a smooth process.
