If I could give more than five stars I would. I had to have my master bathroom redone do to water damage. I have had terrible experiences with contractors in the past, and Roberto listened to my concerns and made sure I felt heard and satisfied with the progress and communication along the way. We hired Roberto and his team at ARK to remove an old, dark, non-working fireplace in our living room and replace it with new French doors leading to our pool patio. Were in love with our bright, light filled space!From the start Roberto stood out from other contractors with his professionalism and courtesy by listening to our ideas, discovering our goals, while also sharing his professional knowledge and perspective. We had a strict time line and his team came in right away to get things done. Throughout the process Roberto checked in personally, letting us know who was coming at what time, and posted progress and dates on an interactive spread sheet. The entire ARK team was professional, knowledgeable and skilled from demo to completion. For our future home projects, ARK will be the only company well hire and recommend.

Roberto is the best contractor weve ever worked with. Hes very knowledgeable, honest, fair, and very respectful of us, our schedules, and our budget. Hes incredibly detail oriented with design and is a perfectionist. He provided excellent oversight of his crew and the project, coming by daily or multiple times during the day to check on the progress and provide guidance to the crew. He has great communication skills (he texted us daily so we always knew what was going to happen and he was always available when we texted him.) He has a great rapport with his crew - he expects top notch work and treats them well. Our only regret is that we didnt meet Roberto 12 years ago when we first started remodeling our house. We will surely use him for ANYTHING we do in the future.

Roberto and his team have worked on two large bathroom remodeling projects for us. The first project was for me -- a hallway bathroom. The project ran smoothly and any hiccups that happened to pop up (as they always do in remodeling projects) were handled expediently. We were always kept informed of what was going on and what was coming up next. The team was always on time. They respected my house as if it were their own. Their attention to detail really blew us away. The craftsmanship and quality of work really showed in the end result. We couldnt be happier. A recommendation is the ultimate 5* review. His quote was fair and extremely detailed so that I felt he really understood our vision. His team was always very nice and respectful and it was nice to get to know everyone by name.I had an elaborate plan for the tile work in our primary suite and Roberto’s team executed it perfectly like I wanted and even suggested things I wouldn’t have thought to consider.Also, even after the project was “done” Roberto had a great attitude about small things we found that weren’t working for us, ie level of custom pull out shelving in the kitchen and he was quick to send people over to make the small fixes we requested with no pushback as if we were being too picky. Hiring a contractor is challenging. Weve all heard about or had nightmare experiences with one at some point in time. When I came to HomeAdvisor looking for a contractor, I received three potential contractors in my area and I reached out to all of them requesting a bid. Ark Remodeling Services was the only contractor who wanted to meet with me in person. Roberto Rodriguez is the owner and it was great to meet him and the story of how he came to Houston was very impressive. Our initial consultation with Roberto was for the remodeling of our guest bathroom and our powder room. However, we were so impressed with Roberto and his crew and the quality of their work that we kept asking him to bid on other jobs in our home. We also tasked him and his crew with remodeling our staircase and putting in new flooring in our master bathroom. A good contractor is worth their weight in gold. Roberto has vision, passion, patience, and he really strives to develop a relationship with his clients. His crew of Edgar and Gabriel are master craftsmen. We chose custom cabinets and high-end fixtures/materials, and they took extra care to make each detail perfect. Due to the age of our house (50 years), we had to make modifications to the plan along the way. Each time a change or obstacle arose, Roberto had great options and solutions. I’ve never seen a contractor who was so transparent with pricing – his estimate broke out every element separately, letting us know just how much each part would cost. His prices, while not always rock bottom, were very fair, and we definitely got what we paid for. The crew cleaned up the area every day, and we are thrilled with the results. My wife says it’s the prettiest bathroom she’s ever seen. That says it all. We highly, highly recommend Ark Remodeling.

As a female, I often feel that contractors dont treat me with the same respect that they do a male - acting as if I should understand the technical issues of the work. When we purchased our house, I knew we had to do a bathroom remodel as soon as possible. The space was cramped and it had difficult to clean dark slate flooring. Roberto came by to take measurements and we were able to come up with a floor plan that would create more space and lighten the room. He was always patient and willing to work with all my jumbled ideas, while guiding me on what would or would not work out well for the space.Since the completion, weve have friends and family come see our new bathroom, which leaves everyone in awe. They cant believe how much extra room we have and they absolutely love how beautiful it turned out. I dont think pictures do it justice in the least. Ark Remodeling Services recently completed our kitchen renovation and created a beautiful space. Our original room was a kitchen, dining area and family room combination. Our goals for the project included: removing a partial wall between the kitchen and family room; creating a larger, more functional island; extending kitchen cabinets to ceiling; adding a gas cooktop, exhaust vent and vent hood.All work performed was done so in an organized and efficient manner. In particular, a number of factors led to the successful completion of the project:Good communication existed between contractor and client. We were always kept informed about delays, other issues during project.Organizational efforts required for project were very satisfactory. Detailed and updated invoices were provided throughout project. Inspections were promptly scheduled. Workers were very efficiently scheduled. Various tradespeople worked throughout work week and sometimes on weekends. Throughout project, there were very few days when someone was not on site completing jobs.The craftsmanship of the work produced by various tradespeople was very good. In particular, the work of the cabinet makers was extraordinary.Every effort was made to keep the project on schedule. We were very surprised to be asked when we would like to see the project completed. (Never before had a contractor asked us that question!)FOLLOW-UP NOTE: After the completion of our kitchen renovation, we again hired Ark Remodeling Services to evaluate and correct a problem in our master bathroom. For some time, we had experienced a leak in the ceiling above our shower and a portion of the drywall had detached from the ceiling. Workers determined the leak was a result of some issue in the upstairs bathroom directly above the master bathroom. Their suspicion was that water was getting into the wall and leaking onto ceiling below because grout around the upstairs tub had worn away. However, to check for any additional issues inside of wall, it was necessary to remove the tub and tile in the shower surround. Also, the floor tile had to be removed. An examination of the internal plumbing and framing revealed no issue with the actual pipes nor the need to replace any wood framing. However, it was determined that the tub drain was cracked and needed to be replaced. The solutions included: replacing the tub drain; installing new drywall board; installing new tile for the shower surround; installing new shower faucet; installing new floor tile and repairing drywall on master bathroom ceiling. Once again, Ark did quality work and completed the job in a timely manner.Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and professionalism exhibited by Ark Remodeling Services and would without hesitation recommend them to others seeking a positive renovation experience.

ARK Remodeling responded quickly to our request for proposal to remodel our master bathroom and half bathroom providing a competitive quote that we couldn’t pass up. They were very flexible and easy to work with accepting changes to our project on the fly. We ended up adding a whole house repipe during the project and they took it on with no problem at a reasonable price. In all we were very happy with their attention to detail and the finished product! We are very happy we chose ARK Remodeling!

I learned of this company by my home owners insurance. They did a superb job completing my kitchen that was destroyed by a leak in the roof. They saw that I had a remaining amount of work due to tropical storm Imelda, and asked if wed like for them to complete the job, that our previous contractor, (who GHOSTED US 6 months ago) did not finish. They quoted me a very reasonable price for the amount of work needed. And they completed that project today at me, and my families ABSOLUTE approval!! Not only do we enjoy the speed and quality of their work, their profgisonalism, and courtesy went a long way!! We are already in talks of having them continue MORE WORK as I speak. We absolutely couldnt be happier!!! This is now my GO-TO company for all things needed, whether inside the house, or outside. They did it ALL for us!!! Kudos to this brilliant group of guys who TRULY amazed us on their speed and professionalism!! They will have our businesses from now on... NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!
