We hired Chris to do an almost impossible job of making our tiny master bathroom feel bigger. He succeeded. Chris with 1836 Remodeling updated our 1980s master bath, closet, and bedroom. Chris is very professional, filled with integrity, was mindful of our budget and timeline, and kept us updated and in the loop every step of the way. He took on the project with pride and did an outstanding job. We love our new bath! We highly recommend 1836!

Let me just say that we have been wanting to remodel for several years but I was always nervous because of the horror stories you hear about contractors gone bad! I can say that with 1836 Construction my fears were alleviated!! Chris and Brad did an awesome job of making our fireplace remodel as smooth as possible. They coordinated everything, checked on things throughout the process and followed through on everything they said they would. I would 100% recommend them and can’t wait to have them work on other areas of our home. I can trust that they will get the job done and have high standards of quality work.

We used 1836 Construction to remodel two bathrooms after getting bids from multiple companies. They weren’t the most or least expensive of the bids we got (fell somewhere in the middle), but after meeting with Chris, we felt sure he understood what we wanted. The level of communication and service from Chris and Brad (our project manager) were exceptional. Both bathrooms turned out fantastic (and under budget!). The quality of work was great and we couldn’t be more pleased. Great experience all around.

We live in Colleyville, and I think the area brings about higher contractors bids because of it being an affluent town. Our original quote from another contractor was nearly 3 times that of what Chris’s was. Chris’s bid being fair is not the biggest compliment I could give him. His professionalism was outstanding. They completed the job in the time estimate given, cleaned up, did a fantastic job, and were pleasant to have at the house doing work. I would hire Chris and his crews to do any future job we need.

Chris is the most trustworthy, responsive, and quality project manager I have encountered. Of course, people will say they treat the project like it’s their own home, but Chris actually made us feel that way. Him and his crew are meticulous, timely, fair priced, and most importantly trustworthy. I hope to not go through a home remodel like this again, but if I do, then Chris and 1836 will be my first and only choice.

1836 Construction did a fantastic job. They were punctual, available, and finished the job in the time they said they would. Any problem we had (which were very few) were taken care of right away. We never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a call back if we called or texted them. We remodeled a 59 year old galley kitchen with very limited space. Chris was very helpful with details and ways to get the most out of the space. Give them a try—you won’t regret it.
