The management and staff at this complex are extremely kind, patient and above all, helpful! After moving here in the spring of 2024, there were some concerns that I had regarding the tenants above me. Brian and his crew always offered a listening ear and did what they could to help during those times. Fast forward to today, I made a sincere request to relocate to an entirely different unit, because I did want to continue living here. It seemed that all hands were on deck to make this happen for me, and they did! Even during the moving period, they were gracious enough to allow me extra days due to the inclement weather. Its been a short while, but I am enjoying the unit I live in now. Thanks to Brian and the entire team for being so genuinely awesome since the very beginning of me coming to live at The Wimberly!

The Asst Mgr, Francesca is first rate. Her professional manner and knowledge is outstanding. More importantly she makes you feel like family and after 12 years renting here that makes all the difference when deciding to renew each year. Her company BSR, needs to promote her and her exceptional customer care. A rare gem of a person indeed.

I am going on two years at the Wimberly and I have to say this place I call home is truly one of the best places Ive resided at. Let me start out by saying the staff is phenomenal! Front office staff Marcus, Francesca, La Tonya and Brian are always attentive to resident needs and make it a priority to care of any needs or requests I may have. Maintenance staff at the Wimberly work in the fastest manner to take care of any requests or issues that may come up with the apartment, I was really thrown back my the quickness of service they provide. The Wimberly is truly home to me, I highly recommend living at Wimberly!

I have lived at Wimberly Apts about 4 yrs now. Every complex has issues, but I give the new manger Brian and his team 5 stars. He corrected prior problems and he and his team really care, listen and work to resolve all problems. Ive been in management. You cant make people responsible. Thats on them and it doesnt reflect who the management or company is. We can address issues, stay on top of it until its resolved or those people are no longer with the company or in your case on lease. It usually takes time and the correct protocol to be resolved and they actually follow through. Im impressed. I very much appreciate their follow up and responding to things that may arise. Brian and his team are doing a great job. If your looking for a home that truly has an open door and cares about you, then Wimberly Apts is the place for you.Cindy

I am an HONEST reviewer. Before moving into The Wimberly I read COUNTLESS amounts of reviews. Like EVERY complex there are the “stay away” reviews. All the mix reviews confused me because if every complex has “stay away” reviews where do I actually stay? So I changed my attitude! I look at the cons and ask myself “are these cons I can get over?” So let’s address some reviews now that I am actually living here!1)PARKING does suck. But they are not towing your vehicle like most apartment complex’s reviews talk about. And office actually do feel bad about parking being tight.2) “Office staff are hard to get a hold of!” Well I knew this coming into the apartments, and it made me really question “why”?!-why are they tough to get ahold of?The answer is because they treat EACH resident or potential resident with respect and as though their time is truly valuable. They will do anything they can for you and a lot of times stretch themselves thin trying to please you. The only issue with this type of treatment is, someone else is waiting for their turn to get this treatment. Sooo choose your cons that you’re willing to deal with.3) Emailing the office for help. They take action on the things that they know they can help right away and they try to get the other problems to the correct person to help. Sometimes the correct person is really trying hard to please everyone as they only have a certain amount of time and man power in a day.4) They are very respectful of their residents packages. And they let you know when you received a package.5) yes they have had several office changes. But that is because they have been training people for multiple properties. This is all done now and the staff is solid.6) trash. They allow the convenience of you putting your trash on the corner of your building on certain days , and have a company pick it up for you. CON it looks tacky.- People LOAD the trash areas with so much trash . But the complex is always cleaning the areas as well as any trash spotted around the complex.7) The kids that live here are respectful (so far).8) Management genuinely care. Again one person for how many units? But she actually cares. She takes things as though they are her problem and rather you hear from her or not she has not forgotten. Janice can be found walking the complex just checking on areas to make sure all is well. Did I mention she actually cares?9)Kevin is the Gem of the complex. He is extremely passionate in making each resident feel at home. He must give himself nightmares with the way he takes on each resident as though his own family. He will strive to be what is missing in each situation as well as forget to eat because he was back to back focusing on others. How do I know this? Because I was a twitch in anyone’s eye before moving in and during and after and likely my whole stay. I am a very honest/loving/genuine person and I expect others to be the same. Kevin has lived up to my expectations. He is a major factor in choosing this complex. He is honest and cares. My moving in was complex and energy sucking to anyone involved (Kevin) but he never complained because he cared more about my experience then his feelings.Notice a common theme here? The Wimberly cares about their residents. Okay perhaps you do not get contacts right away , but you can’t contact every person right away. You have a team of people working for the entire complex. They aren’t rude, they care and they really do work to help their residents feel happy and home.I love my apartment layout!!! I Love the My spacious balcony. I love that The Wimberly is keeping up their appearance and painting/cleaning each building.I love that The bathrooms and closets are so spacious. I love the option for garages being attached to your unit. I love that I’ve not seen ONE bug at ALL . I love that the Staff care that you are happy even if they can’t help right away.I hate the parking. I wish more people picked up after their dogs (not the Wimberly fault, they have dog stations EVERYWHERE)

I recently had to get my tub resurfaced, and ran into some issues. However, the staff was quick to resolve and get the job done. Hoping to renew my lease as I absolutely love living here!

This property is close to many stores, outlets and mall. The property Manager Jaycie and her team is very attentive to address all the concerns of the residents.

This is our first experience living apartment life. We moved in knowing it was short term. But we have found this to be a wonderful community. The best short term experience!The amazing maintenance crew is efficient and effective! They do their part to help keep the grounds clean. And, the maintenance crew has always taken care of any issue we have reported in a timely fashion. ❤️The management team is amazing too. Traci, Kevin, Marisole, and others... They stay on top of everything. They answer my calls, my emails, my questions in a timely fashion. They really care. They are so helpful, understanding, considerate, and respectful!! ❤️We have always felt safe walking in the community. We rarely hear another resident unless they are in the hall. The noise level for Dallas is amazing. One can expect to hear The maintenance crews equipment. And possibly the trash company picking up the trash.Wimberly has many dog stations around the complex. They provide bags for pet owners. They provide grills, patio tables, and seating. They keep the pool area cleaned.(As people we can come to expect the grounds kept clean for us. If each resident took ownership and kept their area clean too, and if each pet owner were to watch and pickup after their pet ... well just imagine how much nicer, cleaner it would be here.)**We have both a washer and dryer in our apartment. Not sure if all units do, so ask.**We also brought our 60# rescue dog with us. We did pay a rent deposit and we pay an additional rent each month as expected.**Parking can be tough. But, weve always been able to find a place to park. If you dont want to walk, consider renting an assigned carport or garage.If you are looking for a place to call home, Wimberly Apartments are great! We highly recommend Wimberly!

I am a new resident here, and I am pleased with how quickly work orders are completed. Update 1/5/2022 : Ive been living here for going on 3 years now and still love it here! Maintenance always responds promptly and Ive never had an issue with neighbors. My unit was updated before I moved in but I do see that they are renovating others. Definitely recommend leasing here*updating my review 11/7/2024. Im on my 5th year here and still love the complex. Brian is amazing and cares about the quality of the property. Hes doing a great job at upkeep and remedying any potential issues. The leasing office staff is amazing.Update 1/08/2025: latonya and Francesca are amazing! They provide awesome customer service and truly care about their tenants. Ive never encountered a caring leasing office staff before. When looking for an apartment complex, the conditions are important, but the people that work there are even more important. Latonya and Francesca are part of the reason that I do not hesitate to renew.

I have lived here almost for a year now. I think it is a good time to give a real experience review about Wimberly apartments.First of all, I want to thank LaTonya for being such amazing apartment manager. She is caring, responsible and always on top of everything that I need help with. I think this single one point contact service is amazing here. You will never get lost.Secondly, the apartment maintenance is amazing! Every time I need to get something fixed, they will be here within a couple of hours and get things done within 10mins. One time I have an emergency water leaking issue in the very early morning, they came here within 30mins and changed a new equipment for me. After they fixed everything, they even cleaned up my laundry room. Their work was so much better than the ones I used to pay to get things fixed at other place. I really appreciate their efficiency and how much they care about the renters.Lastly, I really enjoy living here. It is convenient to shop for food. Walmart, Target all within 5mins driving. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. You will enjoy every day if you choose living here.😊

We have been living here for almost a year now and we love it! The apartments layouts are very spacious and the big windows give us the best view of the trees surrounding our apartment! We love that there is so much to do, from events to walking down to the creek on a nice day!The Wimberly staff has always been so accommodating to us, helping us with any issues we have and always being there for us! Whenever we have had to put in a work order the maintenance crew is quick and efficient. When our water heater wasn’t working and it was very cold out they came back to check on us after they had fixed it to be sure it was working!Everyone here is very kind and it has been a wonderful place to live!

Edit: I moved out in 2024, and the process was handled very well by management. Francesca and the agents worked with me through every step of the process. It was a great place to live.I have lived here since 2016, and can say that the current management company has totally turned this complex around. They added a dog park, amazon lockers, cleaned up the landscaping, fixed the pools, fixed the cracks in the sidewalk, and much more. The maintenance team is always very responsive and friendly, and they do not leave a job unfinished. The office team is professional and sincere, and I feel like they really care about making the property feel safe and welcoming. I would highly recommend living here.

Marquis and his colleagues help make my move simple and painless. I spent countless hours searching for the right apartment and the Wimberly staff made me feel right at home! Any time Ive had any questions or concerns theyve provided me with an answer as well as a solution extremely quickly! Marquis has also made himself available for tours on site as well as recommendations on where to visit when looking for interesting new spots in Dallas.They also like to keep the atmosphere fun and welcoming by having activities such as trivia Tuesday or having food trucks stop on by! Im sure as the year progresses, theyll have more fun activities for us to take part in.The facilities are great, the property is peaceful and very beautiful (My wife has nicknamed the property The Shire because it reminds her of a small town out of The Hobbit), I highly recommend checking it out if youre looking for a new place to live!

I have lived at Wimberly for the last year, and I’ve had mostly great experiences here. I dig deep when apartment hunting, so I was looking at at least 10 apartments. I managed to narrow my choices down to this one mostly for location, price, amenities, and reviews. Everywhere else had horrible reviews about management, crime, fire alarms going off at 3am, noise complaints, pests, etc.1. Location - by far the perfect spot for me personally. I travel to work three times a week to downtown Dallas, and I go to many places around Carrollton, the Colony, Plano, Frisco, Addison, so my commute is never long getting to where I need to go. There’s several grocery stores, like Walmart, Target, and Costco within 5 minutes. Lots of food places too.2. Safety - I haven’t seen or heard of any crime around here. There’s always kids playing around, so there are families living in the area. Although some cars will be flying through the apartment complex even though there are speed bumps. One time, a car almost hit me speeding around a corner, so I would be cautious.3. Noise pollution - only complaint is all of the cars going up and down the street and their engines roaring every once in a while or someone blaring their music, but it’s not a bother most of the time. Overall, it’s very quiet here.4. Parking - probably the worst part about Wimberly. I’m lucky to have two private, attached garages, but one of us still has to park elsewhere. During the day, there’s usually an empty spot, but at night or weekend mornings, every single parking space (at least close to my unit) will be taken. They offer covered parking that you can reserve, but when I asked them about it, the closest one next to my unit was on the other side of the complex, so it didn’t make sense for me to add that to my rent. So then I’ll have to block one of my roommate’s cars, which can be annoying for them sometimes.5. Storage - could definitely use a little bit more storage, but it’s manageable. I guess for three grown adults, it’s harder, but we made it work.6. Natural lighting - I love the large windows and balcony windows that allow for the natural light to shine through. It really makes a difference in brightening up the main space.7. Temperature - one time, we had the AC off while we were traveling for an extended period, and when we came back, the house had stayed at 74°. That’s a good sign to me about how well the unit can stay cool. We did have one incident last summer where the AC was not working, but that was because we needed more Freon. I haven’t had any more problems since then.8. Pets - I haven’t noticed this myself, but I received multiple emails about residents not picking up after their dogs. I do see several poop bag stations that people can use. Pet fees and rent are reasonable and not much different from other places. No complaints here.9. Living condition - it is quite inevitable for a place to be completely soundproof. I’ve heard the people upstairs talking, stomping, running around, hammering at stuff. Guys. It’s an apartment complex. You’ll see and hear about noise complaints wherever you go. I’m also aware that these people have families and children. It’s annoying, yes, but there’s only so much you can do.10. Maintenance - best part of Wimberly. I’ve put in several work orders online, and I would see maintenance at the earliest time possible. I put one in at 3am because our smoke alarm was beeping, and I saw maintenance at 9am when they opened. Absolutely the best.11. Apartment - the apartment itself visually looks very nice. If you look closer though, there are definitely some flaws. Most of the windows don’t look like they’re sealed properly. During the ice storm, there would be a trail of snow alongside the window. Some outlets would only have 1/2 plugs working. The dishwasher doesn’t open properly because it bumps into the drawer handles, so we’ve had to take the drawer handles off just to use our dishwasher. It definitely has some flaws, but nothing that gets in the way of our daily life.

The apartments themselves are stellar, and the people here surpass this high standard.It started the first day I came to look at the apartments. Kyndal was an incredible ally in the process, and continues to be communicative, caring, and conscientious.Francesca is handles business with a smile and is quick to address and solve problems to make your living experience seamless. (Also bring your dog to the office :)Finally, the maintenance staff is top-notch. It is clear they love their job and have the autonomy and capacity to do what is needed, which results in superb service.I am grateful for the people, peace, and serenity at Wimberly.

I have been staying here at Wimberly Apartments for almost a year now and I honestly can say this is the best complex I have stayed at. EVERYONE here is very professional and responsive. The maintenance crew gets your request completed within 24 hours and they do a great job of sending out weekly or monthly updates. The complex is VERY clean you can tell they take pride in their tenants as well as the complex. Literally EVERYTHING stays tidy and upkept. The management team, maintenance crew and other tenants are all so kind. 1,000/10 highly recommend!!!

Its a very nice complex, safe, close to everywhere, and absolutely strong management team. Ive been living here since Nov 2018, and super happy with new manager and office team. Super professional and very responsive. Maintenance team are doing good job, every time they enter my unit, they alway leave a work order sheet to show that job was completed. Plenty of parking spaces, clean complex, and friendly neighbors. I highly recommend this complex, and because the new manager and office staff are doing a fantastic job.

I originally moved here due to it being close to my job but I truly enjoy the environment and feeling safe. We love the property, staff and community altogether! This is a great apartment complex to live. The complex is in a great location and access to a variety of grocery stores. Apartments have great natural lighting because of the number of windows in each unit. The front office is great!! Very responsive to maintenance requests. Kevin has helped me on many occasions. Especially, when I was having trouble with my front gate access key fob. He is always in good spirits and enjoys his job!!

Ive only been living here for about two or three months but so far Im really happy. First off, the front office staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Ive really enjoyed my interactions with them and appreciate their advice and assistance when needed. The complex itself is beautiful with a lot of trees and the square footage per price cant be beat. I love how automated everything is, too! They have an online repair request (everything has been fixed the same day!) system, you can pay your rent online, and they have this automated locker system called Luxor which allows you to pick up your packages at any time of the day.They will even text you quick reminders of various things which I find to be helpful. I especially love how diverse the population is here and how kind my neighbors are. Its also super quiet in the part that I live in so thats fantastic for me. Oh! Also, the kitchens are HUGE. Seriously. So much storage space. Lets see what else? Its in a great area, close to good shopping and dining with easy access to the tollways!

All of the office is extremely responsive and friendly. Property is well kept. Peaceful in the evenings. Great area to live. I have lived in a handful of apartments and they always end up having a bad surprise but I have yet to find any complaints living here.Have been here a year now and have come back to say I have still no complaints. !!!!Surprise!!!!Wimberly Apartments has new property owners AND management. Since they have taken over it is like ONE thing AFTER ANOTHER are being corrected, updated and overall addressed. The gates have been working, they IMMEDIATELY fixed our sidewalks!!! They are enforcing rules for illegal parking, and are REDOING all our fences!!! I have been told they are working on our trash situation as well.My air conditioner went out MORE THAN 5 TIMES in 2018!!!! And most of those times I had to wait until the next day for someone to address it. And I mean it was cooler outside than in my apartment!!! Each maintenance guy said something different from the next. And the problems never seemed to go away. Other service requests would take weeks if not months. NOW, I make a service order and BOOM they are on it with in 24 hours! Juan showed up to AGAIN fix my air conditioning as it was producing rubber smell and no air. He is SO professional!!! He had just arrived home after prime time traffic in a different city!!! AND turned around to come service our apartment. He did it with a smile and NOT ONE time did we feel like he was upset to help us. I really look forward to knowing guys like Juan are our new Maintenance team.I am a resident that likes to keep things quiet, safe, clean and I value management that takes my concerns and/or requests seriously. This team is ALWAYS smiling and wanting to make sure everyone knows how important they are to them. They are updating all our information, so know that when they say something, they mean it. Its nice to be able to rely on a team that seem like they love their jobs and look forward to making changes!!!!We shall all stay tuned to what is next with this complex. I am personally relieved at the changes that have taken place so quickly! And at the attitudes of EACH office staff. They are structured, professional, organized and working towards making us all happier residents.

Kevin S. is one of the best team members on the Wimberly staff team as he is professional, hard-working, responsive, and knowledgeable in his profession. He is always able and willing to assist and solve any issues or concerns. Kevin S. plays a huge part in the Wimberly community; I have witnessed for myself him going out of his way to ensure that the property is clean and organized. In any given time my husband and myself put in a request, the team members always ensure they are responsive in a timely manner (within 24 hours). Kevin has also helped my husband and I renew our lease! The property manager Tracy is amazing as well, she is very welcoming!! If you want to live somehwhere that gives a community feel, Wimberly is the place!

I moved to the Wimberly Apartments at the beginning of June 2020 while the nation was still experiencing the affects of the pandemic. I never had to deal with the old management since they left in march before I moved in, but I can speak about my experience with the new management. With the stress of a pandemic, losing family members to the virus, and not being able to see my parents how I would like to because they are high risk. It felt good to know the awesome Wimberly staff care and communicate with us.I recently had a roommate move out and some of his paperwork was not filled out properly. He works remote jobs in the day and I work overnight security, needless to say we rarely see each other. The Assistant Property Manager Francesca walked us through the process and made sure we had everything we needed. Even in high stress instances where I was not in the best moods in the office lol Francesca was there for me! To anyone thinking of moving to Wimberly let me tell you now. You will be making a great decision and you will be taken care of by a staff that CARES.

Went apartment hunting today, looked at all 4 apartments on Horizon North Pkwy. Kevin, who helped us out, was very friendly and did an amazing job of handling 6 prospective residents who were waiting. We waited about 30 minutes because it was really busy, but Kevin made sure to get us water, floor plans to look at while we waited and checked up on us every few minutes. Dont lose a worker like this, its very hard to find someone like this. Other than that, the floorplan we looked at was amazing, I will make an update by next week once we decide on an apartment. Any maintenance tickets we submit are responded to promptly, and anytime we contact the office we also get a response promptly.I dont normally leave a review for any online, I usually stick to word of mouth, but I really appreciate all the folks here who are really working hard to fix what someone else broke.

I have lived here for the last few years and I will say, initially I would not have recommended this place. Management was terrible to the point of me wanting to relocate until the new manager, Jaycie came on board and completely turned this community around. This is now, a wonderful safe place to live and is located in really, the perfect area if you can snag a unit! On top of great management now, maintenance is great as well! The maintenance supervisor, Mr. Milton is the best-he not only completes every work order in a professional timely manner, but also ensures everyones safety by making sure we lock the door every time he leaves. In my years of living in apts, I have never had maintenance go that above and beyond. Between great management and great maintenance, I highly recommend living here if can!

They even replace lightbulbs for you!I do not have an updated apartment, but you wouldnt know it except for the cabinets (though theyre totally fine) and it made my 860 sq ft apt with attached garage ridiculously affordable.I dont hear noise from my neighbors, and there is plenty of visitor parking. Its close to everything I need, and the buildings themselves have a nice aesthetic.Assuming my job situation stays the same, I will definitely renew next May :)

I lived here for a year and 8 months. We loved it here. Maintenance is kind and prompt. The area is safe. We had covered parking but I usually saw open spots uncovered. There were several issues with the gates, but that is common, I guess. We would have stayed if the rent increase wasnt so high. Unfortunately its out of our price range now. We always thought the staff was nice, we loved the pool and outdoor grill areas and jacuzzi. The weight room wasnt bad either. A great choice overall!!

The new property managment company is a night and day difference from the last company. BSR came a few months ago and has changed the entire culture of the office. The staff is much more helpful and pleasant to deal with. I feel like a priority now, instead of an annoyance. Maintenance request were basiclly ignored by the previous staff. The current staff addressed my last request within an hour of reporting and then followed up with me by text message to make sure the isssued was resolved and I was happy.Also, every now and then, I see Tracy (Property Manager) and the Project Manager (forgot his name, nice guy) walking around the property, and they are happy to tell you whats next and ask how you like what they have already done. BSR has also spent a lot of money on the property for security cameras, new pool furniture at both pools, another grill, and a dog park with agility obsticules and dog wash.Thank you.

I was looking for an apartment and came in to tour Wimberly. It’s very conveniently located in the central part of the metroplex which was perfect for me at the time. Unfortunately, I did not end up moving in due to unforeseen circumstances. I found the team to be warm and welcoming, the grounds were beautiful and the interior of the management office was absolutely lovely! I would recommend this place to anyone!! Hopefully, if I come back to the DFW area, I will get to live there someday!

I have just visited this property and I met Tracy who was absolutely pleasant, very helpful and a breathe of fresh air. I didnt get what I was looking for but she went out of her way to schedule an appointment for me at another one of their properties. Deal with Tracy, shes amazing 👏🏽😊

I have lived here for 11 years and love it. Maintenance is very responsive and quick to do repairs. I feel relatively safe. Have a great relationship with everyone here. I would highly recommend anyone to live here. Updated 1/21/21
