    Very impressed with everything offered at this retirement community. I am looking for a retirement community for my parents who are moving from out of state and I was impressed with everything you get for the price! The apartments are immaculate and so beautiful. The community is also only 6 years old and stunning! The services and amenities are close to all inclusive with options for flexibility and customization. And it’s one thing to get good vibes from a community visit, but while leaving a random woman runs up to me to see if I have any questions. She had recently moved her mother into this community and only said wonderful things about the customer service and communication. She also told me her mother LOVES it there! This speaks volumes for a retirement community!

    The property and grounds are amazing. What is offered to the residents also nice. But it would be nice if the washer/dryer were included in all the units and not have to be rented monthly.

    When you move to Watercrest Shadow Creek, you are not just renting an apartment, you are joining a community. We looked at several retirement communities, and none met our needs as nicely as Watercrest. We have been here 10 months. Our first morning, when we went to breakfast, several residents recognized us as newcomers. They came over, introduced themselves, and made us feel very welcome. We have since made many friends through participation in various activities. We look forward to the full schedule of activities being restored when the pandemic goes away. There is no excuse for boredom or failure to meet people. Staff are very professional and caring. They seem to have a heart for senior citizens. We have been impressed that they greet all the residents by name. We feel very safe here, with FOB-activated gates and exterior doors, and apartments opening to interior hallways. Maintenance is prompt and proficient. Residents seem to be mostly a happy bunch, especially for Ice Cream Socials, Happy Hours, and holiday parties. There is an excellent selection of floor plans with various pricing options on amenities, of which there are many. Shopping and medical facilities are all within 2-3 miles, and the shuttle will take you there if you don’t want to drive or have given up your car. All in all, it is a great, friendly, safe place to live.

    I do not know who was more apprehensive visiting Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch, me or my 91-year old mother! We were met by the most wonderful, Alex Casares, for a welcome tour. The beauty of this lovely facility is immediately apparent but most reassuring, was Alex’s enthusiasm, professionalism and true concern for the residents. He greeted them by name and knew current information on so many in the questions he asked them... I wanted my mother to be this valued! The minute mom and I entered the apartment, we knew that Watercrest was right for both of us to feel comfortable. As we clarified and signed the pricing and paperwork, all of our requests were met very respectfully. Our complimentary lunch was yummy! We cannot wait to move her in! Alex, you have a remarkable ability to walk the fine line between compassion, warmth and professionalism... thanks to you personally for making this transitional step with us! ❤️

    I have had the pleasure of experiencing Watercrest and let me tell you, this place is truly a GEM! The building is BEAUTIFUL. When you walk in, you can feel the love and joy from not only the residents, but the staff as well! Everyone I have met from the Concierge to the Executive Director is so helpful and friendly and truly enjoy being there. They make their residents a priority and go above an beyond to make sure they are happy. I recommend this place and would give it 10 stars if I could. Brittany is very knowledgeable and will work relentlessly to help you, even after you move in. She is always available and answers her phone day and night. I can go on and on but, bottom line, you would truly be doing a disservice if you chose any other place in Pearland.

    Breanna showed my wife and I around the property and explained all the amenities and where everything is located and all the different things to do. My wife was excited about all the trips that are offered, and I was excited to know about the various poker groups that have been formed We are excited and enthused. Can not wait to move in.     A very nice, upscale living community. My dad has been very happy living here, all of the staff are very nice and helpful. Amenities are wonderful, there are always social events happening for the residents, and the apartment floorplan is perfect for his needs. They have also done a great job keeping residents safe and healthy during the COVID pandemic.

    My mom lives at Watercrest. She loves it. She moved in a few years ago after my father passed away. They have been wonderful and the staff there is great. They become friends and do everything they can to help! There are lots of activities and the residents have become great friends. We would highly recommend Watercrest!

    I am so thankful that we found this Watercrest community for my Dad! It is a beautiful place, and the management has been so supportive and caring. They take the time to assist residents with their individual needs. I cant say enough about Brittany...she has been AWESOME and truly cares about my Dad and all of the other residents, as does Caroline and the rest of the team. As a healthcare professional, I can say that I am very impressed with the way management has handled the pandemic and keeping their residents safe. They communicate well with their community and family members, and have done a great job of keeping their residents safe during this stressful Covid-19 time. Thank you Watercrest for all that you do!

    We are newbies (resident less than 2 months) and we are very happy here. We feel secure with the layers of barriers in place for anyone to enter the buildings. Once reported to management, maintenance items are promptly corrected. It is amazing how many activities are scheduled each day for residents at will. I am in the final throes of my career, so I can now look forward to retirement. Our apartment home is comfortable and I am proud to invite family and friends for visits. All seniors: You owe it to yourself to check out Watercrest for its beauty (interior and exterior), activities, friendships, conveniences, peace and happiness, an environment for keeping yourself physically and mentally challenged, and a fantastic staff who are there to help make life easier for each of us.

    Wow! What a great place to live! Brittany and Caroline are wonderful with which to work. If you are looking into downsizing or just moving to another apartment, this complex is the way to go. You will be supported and encouraged as you make your move. I look forward to calling this place “home” at the end of this week!

    WATERCREST at SHADOW CREEK RANCH is a great place to call home for seniors. Occupants here are provided with free breakfast, coupons for lunch and dinner, free transportation for your doctors appointment and free transportation to the grocery stores. There are many meaningful activities for you to engage in daily life. It’s a great place to meet new friends in a beautiful environment for senior living. I highly recommend it for any seniors in your life. All of the staff here go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. I trust this place for the seniors in my life and so can you.

    Outstanding living facility, management staff very responsive, facility is clean and well maintained. Due to family considerations I had to relocate to Montgomery county but enjoyed my 2 + years at Shadow Creek and should the opportunity present itself I would not hesitate to return to Watercrest at Shadow Creek. If you are looking for a independent living facility this place will not disappoint you

    The staff at Watercrest truly cares about their residents. They went above and beyond helping us navigate covid and health issues. They regularly contacted me (daughter in law) to ask how things were going or to let me know when they saw signs of both concerns or celebration.     My 84 year old mother just moved into Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch about 2 months ago after living alone in her 3 bedroom house as a widow for over 40 years in Valdosta, GA. My mother was still driving and on a weekly bowling league and doing her own grocery shopping and most of her own yard work. Even though she was in terrific health, we felt like the time was nearing when she would need us to help her more frequently than he were able. Two of my sisters and I live in Cypress, Fulshear and Clear Lake, while one lives in Florida. It seemed logical to us to begin searching for places in the Houston area. After making numerous visits to senior living places, we were getting pretty discouraged!!!!!! There just wasnt even one that we would consider......... UNTIL I stumbled onto Watercrest in Pearland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was LOVE at first sight!!! The facility is 2 years old and looks like an UPSCALE apartment complex!!!!! Brittany was incredible at answering each and every question that I had and gave me a personal tour!! I even reached out to my youngest sister to meet me there for more questions and a second tour with Brittany just to make sure that this was not a mirage!!!! We even asked if we could eat from the lunch menu to get a feel for the food........ IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE there is soooooooooo very nice and polite to one another- residents and staff alike!!!!! When we showed the pictures to my mother, she agreed that the place would be perfect and with tears she agreed that we needed to put her house up for sale and move her to Watercrest. She has LOVED all of the activities they offer!!! In her very short 2 months, she is in a line dance group and they performed for the residents once. She enjoys the workout room which has MARVELOUS equipment!!!!! She is in a Choir and has enjoyed several movies. Just recently, she and one other resident signed up for a bowling league and she is in Heaven!!!!!! I normally try to visit once a week to help Mom and she always insists that I stay and eat lunch with her!! (She doesnt have to push too hard!!!!!!) I have LOVED everything they have made!!!!! Some residents are into gardening or arts and crafts or card games or Bingo........ THERE IS NOOOOO SHORTAGE OF ACTIVITIES! Today my mother said that she was going to listen to a chiropractor who was going to come speak this afternoon to the residents. One of my mothers favorite activities is Happy Hour!! It is literally ONE HOUR!!! From 4:00 until 5:00 every Friday they serve wine to residents who want to participate, and they normally have live entertainment that is really good!!!! My Mothers apartment is gorgeous!!! She has a HUGE walk-in closet, a walk-in shower, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and large living and dining spaces. At 84 years old, this is the first time she has ever had a dishwasher!!!! I have to admit, it remains untouched since she has arrived. She doesnt feel the need to figure that out!! :-) She has a lovely patio overlooking the garden area. We feel like this environment is much safer for her and the community itself is gated. She still has complete freedom in life choices. I honestly LOVE seeing her so engaged and making so many friends!!!! Her quality of life has improved so very much and I cannot thank the staff at Watercrest for providing this incredible HOME for my mother!!! Special thanks to Brittany for patiently and pleasantly answering a million questions from us!! This may sound too good to be true...... But, trust me!!! Watercrest is an amazing place!!!!!

    Approaching the chapter in life where you are helping your parents move into an Independent Living facility is daunting enough, but throw in the fact we were doing this with our recently widowed Mom added that much more anxiety for my brothers and me. Little did we know that Brittany Jalomo with Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch would make all of this anxiety go away in one fell swoop.Walking into the property provided instant relief with its wonderful grand entry and gracious hospitality, but sitting down with Brittany and touring the property with her was so refreshing and relaxing. She answered each and every question we had and put us at ease by addressing our concerns; she even brought up points that we hadnt even thought of. While walking the property, we encountered 10 - 12 residents and Brittany greeted EVERY SINGLE ONE by their name followed by a few verbal exchanges that proved to us she truly cared and understood each resident here. My brother and I were in awe and he at one point asked her directly, Do you know everyones name here or what? With a smile, she replied, Yes. Of course.The property itself is a great attraction with their interior hallways, awesome floor plans and overall amenities on site; great dining area, common areas that vary from floor to floor, gym, salon, etc. --- more than what we all expected. Having an individual garage was a huge selling point for us and we were lucky enough to grab one of the few units where the garage is connected to the apartment, so this was perfect for Mom.My brothers and I know this is going to be a new chapter for Mom, where she will assuredly struggle at times; however, there is a sense of calm we all have knowing she will be living in a community that will welcome her, befriend her and keep her safe. A community where we already know Brittany will know her name.

    Meridyl and I have been pleased with our decision to make our home at Watercrest Retirement. The management of the facility is hands-on, friendly, courteous, and respectful. If you desire activities, Candra, the Activities Director, makes this possible. Meals, and the Dining Room attendents, make meal-time a positive environment.     My daughter sent me a video clip after visiting with Brittany. At the time, I lived in Chicago, so she helped visit places and gather information for me.     Every time we call or visit my father-in-law, he tells us a story about one of his friends. My friend did this for me....my other friend said that...one of my friends and I laugh every time we pass each other.... He never ever misses a chance to tell us about his many friends, and we always love hearing the happiness in his voice. :)WELL, it turns out THE FRIENDS HES REFERRING TO ARE THE STAFF!!! How awesome is that?? Hes so happy with the amenities at Watercrest and, well, being surrounded by all of his friends.We cant thank the staff enough for looking out for him the way we do.     Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch as I help a. friend in her decision to move from her single family home to a senior apartment. Not only is this a beautiful property that is well-maintained and full of services, but everyone is helpful and most pleasant.How very nice it was to have the assistance of Breanna Moberg. Breanna is most personable. Not a hint of pressure and a total feel that she was going to help us find the right solution, even if it wasn’t at that property!!!! It totally reminded me of “Miracle on 34th Street” where Santa sent a shopper to a competitor’s store since they had what the customer wanted. Breannas thorough and unrushed presentation along with her answering every question clearly and thoroughly was refreshing.Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch was my friend’s choice and she is now planning on the move. Thanks to Breanna for helping it to be a relatively easy decision.

    Watercrest at Shadow Creek Ranch is for any senior contemplating retirement living. The basic needs of safety and security, companionship, value, maintenance free living and lastly, comfort are all met here at Watercrest under the direction of Caroline Alcantar, Executive Director. Caroline is a vibrant, young executive who always has the residents best interest in mind. I, myself, have had to interact with Caroline on minor issues that required her expertise help. Caroline is hands on. She keeps you informed and stays with you until the work order is closed. Lastly, every resident is always greeted by name and with a smile by each and every staff member. The experience of living here at Watercrest is all one should have.
