I did not end up signing a lease here, but I enjoyed touring the place. The renovated units are very nice. I like that no matter what you are not on the ground floor, because units technically start on the third floor (above the garage).

I have been living at the Verdir for about a month now. I absolutely love my apartment. My only complaint so far is that there is some construction going on on my side of the building so sometimes it keeps me awake during the day (I work night shift). However, I know this is only temporary!Maintenance has a great response time which I appreciate.Kayla in the leasing office was incredible during my tour and move-in process. The only issue I had with move-in is that the moving truck couldnt fit in the loading dock which took up a lot of time. I went past my two-hour window for the loading dock and I got a lot of calls from the front office. I didnt really feel like they understood the issue that we had and I felt a lot of pressure to have the moving guys move faster (even though there was no one else waiting for the loading dock). However, aside from that, I have had really great interactions with the leasing office staff.The building is clean. I have not had ANY pest issues. The grounds are kept nice. Valet trash is super convenient.I would definitely recommend living here.

I just so happened to be looking for a new complex that would be closer to work for me and was looking for apartments for a friend of mine as well. Thats when I decided to tour Verdir at Hermann Park.From the very beginning I was so impressed with how professional and lovely the staff were! It was Allie who helped me and she was so sweet! She gave me all of the information that I needed and really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of throughout the leasing process. I did not end up leasing here but my friend did and she did an amazing job taking care of them as well. I could tell that Allie truly did care about securing the apartment for me and making the process as smooth as possible. There is something to be said for the leasing agent who not only knows their stuff, but takes the time to get to know you.I spoke with Kayla a few times as well and she was more than helpful! Very impressed with how responsive and professional the leasing staff is.Aside from the staff, the complex itself was really nice and I could tell they do a good job keeping up the property.The units that were shown to me were clean but I was surprised by how spacious the units are! Very nice.All in all, I think its a great option especially if you work in the medical center!

Office staff is great. My apartment homes is nice and updated. Very spacious 2 bedroom plan. However, as far as safety, the parking garage is questionable. Several car thefts and vandalism occurrences since I moved here in November 2022. Security is very responsive though.

I signed a 14 month with Verdir. It wasnt a bad price for a 1 bedroom, $1067. The location is awesome, only 7-10 min from downtown. The parking garage is nice, never had issue with anyone breaking into my car. Small pool, but I only used it like once or twice. Decent gym, half of the treadmills dont work, but theres usually no one in the gym anyways. As far as communication with the leasing office, it was o.k. there was a water leaking issue with my dining room window that never got resolved, which was inconvenient at most. The water warped my wooden window trim. But besides that everything here was pretty nice. Elevators take a while but theyre better than the stairs. And the maintenance guys are really nice and good at what they do.

Its been a really positive experience living here since June 2020. Kayla was my leasing agent and she was so helpful despite all the chaos caused by the pandemic. The apartment was renovated before I moved in and it is amazing. The maintenance team is always available to fix any issue in the apartment. We are definitely planning to renew our lease here.

My husband and I lived here for a year and are sad to have to go. We have loved everything about staying at Verdir. The location is AMAZING and the apartments are beautiful. Dontua (manager) and Kayla (leasing agent) are so helpful and patient with residents. They are more than willing to work with you and make sure you have a great resident experience. If you see negative reviews about management, it was probably from people who didnt follow the property rules and are butt hurt that they got the consequences. Verdir apartments are very well kept and the maintenance crew is so sweet and helpful! They respond to request very promptly and really know each of the residents just as well as the front office staff. The price can not be beat in this area. We have always felt that we as well as our property were safe and secure. Verdir is a great place to call home!

We just moved into Verdir, but we are already so impressed. The entire property is beautiful and very well kept. It feels very safe, you have to scan a remote to even get into the elevators or parking garages. As a young female, I feel very comfortable being alone here. The prices and location are amazing! Kayla was so attentive and helpful with our whole move-in process. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had a good experience at Verdir. The staff were very welcoming and informative. Everyone’s experience is different, so you must visit for yourself. Verdir is a nice property; it is in a convenient location, quiet, and the units have great layouts with nice finishes.

Over all, This is a great place. It is located in just the perfect spot so you are literally close to downtown, the Galleria, Medical Center and even the Park for working out! The staff are amazing and quick to help you when you need it. My dog was welcomed and the pool and resident center are perfect for entertaining. I really like these apartments. The Apartments have alot more space than you would expect. I would most def advise people to check it out, I am very happy I did!

Kayla is the most professional, caring, and attentive staff member at Verdir. She provides excellent customer service at all times. The lady that complained on Kayla seem like she is deliberately trying to paint a negative picture of Kayla. The grounds are well maintained and I love the location of the apartment community! My only suggestion would be for the carpet in the hallways to be replaced.

Ive lived here almost three years and I absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and always accommodate my requests within reason. Whether you have to go north, south, east, or west, having quick access to Hwy 288 makes it so easy. I rarely hear my neighbors (maybe once every other month). My upstairs neighbors sometimes walk heavily, but only for a few seconds. I love having a parking garage so I dont have to run to my car in the rain or cold. I also like going from the garage, to an elevator, through an indoor air conditioned hallway, and to my apartment. It makes me feel like a VIP sometimes. The only real qualm I have is that I pay for community door-to-door trash pickup every month but Ive never used it since the trash chute is on my way to the elevator. I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend this location for your next home!

Ive lived here for almost 2.5 years and it has been through many different companies in my time, but I do feel that the current staff (which to me, consists of Dontua and Kayla and of course the amazing maintenance staff) is the best we have had. They know the tenant and care about our issues. They have always been quick to help and solve issues without any fuss. To be honest I have only known about two of the managers out of so many that have been here, but they have almost always showed little to no interest in the residents or the property. It is honestly the girls at the front office that take care of everything that is asked. Maintenance is quick to fix everything and will even come out late at night when its an emergency issue. I am so grateful for the people who play a big role in the complex. They have kept my very happy in my time here.

I absolutely love my experience at the Verdir. The office staff is extremely helpful and nice and the maintenance team is attentive and quick. I have put in work requests and its gotten done the same day. Every time I have an issue with anything (which is not often) the office staff is willing to help and gets on top of it QUICK and PROFESSIONALLY. My space is very spacious and nice and the view is AMAZING. I would recommend the Verdir to anybody.

ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT:I know that they changed management right before I moved here in May 2014, had I of seen these reviews I wouldnt have come. I am glad that I did though, management was so nice, professional and personable. I only lived there three months and multiple people knew my name and my apartment number when I would have packages. They were always pleasant to work with in every encounter I had.I had about three or four packages come in and the conversations went like this:Me:walk inAny of the three people who work there: Hi Mr. ___ what can I do for you?Me:I think I have a package waitingAny: Okay, Your apt number ___ right?Me: Yes!Seriously so impressed that they know their tenants this well.ABOUT THE PROPERTY:It was very clean. Pool was always in service. They take out the trash for you every day. The 4th floor hallway gets hot in the summer. Our apartment was clean, had new floors and paint when we moved in. The garage is a little tight for bigger vehicles (I have a Ram 1500) but there is a lot of extra parking so I put my truck in both our spots (that were next to each other) and my wife parked in the extra parking all the time. Garden areas were very pretty and well kept.

Due to employment in the Texas Medical Center I was searching for an apartment in close proximity to where I work. I came across Verdir at Hermann Park and felt like it would be a good fit for me. The amenities, location, and shuttle service would greatly accommodate my day to day lifestyle. Leasing consultant Kayla not only helped me get in to my preferred apartment but assisted in getting all of my paperwork submitted in a timely manner. My mom lived here for 3 years and thats the reason why I opted for this apartment. I have to say maintenance people are the best!! They are very friendly people and you can see them working hard everyday so that everything is good and clean.They are a bit disorganized with the parking though. When I moved in I was given a parking spot (perfect location close to the elevator) only to find one day (like 3 months later) another car parked in there. I complained and even though theyd given me the parking spot to me first they did nothing. They said it was because the parking was already someone elses and they were on vacation. (Sure! for 3 months, no I dont think so. Cause I asked them!)So yeah, besides that little lie, everything was very good for me. You can pay online, and request maintenance online too. They finish maintenance request quick (I tell you, they are the ones that make this place awesome)Pool was great during summer. Gym is ok. Computer room is good though the printer sometimes doesnt have ink. They have a starbucks coffee machine and it is awesome. And free too!They changed the hallways carpets shortly after I moved in. The old ones were stinky. But it seems like dog owners let their dogs pee on the carpet inside the building!! You can see the spots on it and its a bit disgusting for me. But this isnt the management fault I guess.Oh another thing is if you are on a 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor you will hear your upstairs neighbors all the time. I swear I had elephants living on top of me!! Theyd wake me up at night every night it was so horrible! I was sleep deprived for the whole year! The day I moved out the lady from downstairs came to my door to complain about my steps...We told her its the way the building is built! There are no carpets except on the room! Also we were moving that day so nothing else we could do about it!I recommend this place it is very well maintained and the pros overcome the cons. It is great quality of living. A little bit expensive but the location is great.

Ive always maintained that the true experience of apartment living is defined on moveout day, seeing how the management handles return of deposit etc. However, we have moved in rather recently so that experience will need to be updated down the road. For now all I can say is we are very pleased with Verdir. We had a budget of 1600 to 2000 and for that this location was excellent. The units are well designed and everything works as expected. The hallways are unusually wide (seriously the hallways are at least 2x wider than any apartment complex I have seen), which gives the place an open feel and makes moving easier. We have not used the amenities much besides the starbucks coffee machine, which is always well stocked and starts operating at 5am. The people we have encountered have all been nice (from employees to residents). All the entry points seem to have several cameras (now if they work or not is a different question, but they indeed have them) and most doors need a fob to access. Our particular unit is extremely quiet. But that may not be the case for all the units (depending on the proximity to the road or the garage) so make sure you take your time assessing the exact location of the unit. I recommend this location to those wanting to live close to the medical center or hermann park. Ah and as a last note, maybe because it is a newer property or perhaps just well maintained, but the AC is excellent, the air is always very breathable. I have lived in equally priced (or higher) apartments where the central AC unit did not perform up to par.

Even in the mist of COVID-19 she provided me with a virtual tour and seamless support. I have not yet moved in but couldnt wait to post a review to inform future residents and the management company of how amazing she has been during this process! Im extremely thankful for my realtor for recommending this complex and very grateful for Kaylas assistance.

I have to say MISS KAYLA WAS UH-MA-ZING!!!! My initial visit was this past weekend, Saturday, October 9th. I didnt have an appointment, however when I walked in, Miss Kayla was with a client and immedialetly said excuse me and greeted me with such a warm smile. Once she finished she informed me that tours are during certain times and invited me back the next day, Sunday, October 10th. I returned and the exact same thing, She was so pleasantly engaging and polite. She currently had a client and assured me that she will be with me upon completetion. I was able to look at a few units and she answered all my questions and calmed my concerns. Ive taught Customer Service classes for the past 24 years and Miss Kayla has IT. Close to the medical center and downtown. Also near Herman park and the Bayou to go walking or bike riding. Very convenient place to live. Affordable. They are renovating some things. Nice place to live

I absolutely love this place! The price for this location is great and the office manager is great. Excellent customer service from her every time I stop by. The only concern I have are the TVs in the exercise room; none of them work! I honestly would workout everyday in there if they did. I was told, when I moved in back in Oct. 2021, that new TVs were being ordered. To this day, Feb. 2022, the TVs still dont work not been replaced. Other than that... I love it here!!!

Warning: office staff EXTREMELY unprofessional and incompetent in SERIOUS ways.I just moved out of the building two months ago because of work and had to pay termination fee. The manager agreed to let me pay over the period of two months. It took me a month and several calls just to find out the exact amount that I owe. I sent out the check and AFTER they cashed my check, I found out that they had turn my debt to a debt collection agency. I paid for it right away, otherwise my credit could have been hurt big time. I am in the middle of getting a morgage. Its IMMORAL and UNPROFESSIONAL and can SCREW somebody OVER big time. VERY ANGRY at them.EDIT: Id like to say that I am very happy with how the staff handled the situation. It was an error with the collection agency and the staff pursued and solved the problem for us. Thank you.

Ashley was a great source of information, not only for the building, but the area around Hermann Park and Houston in general. She was very knowledgable about the building and was able to answer all of our questions. She was professional, informative, courteous and a pleasure to work with. Luckily we have been approved and are set to join the Verdir community in July!

I have been a resident at the Verdir for 15 years. I chose the Verdir to be my home because the location was very convenient to everything I wished to have......employment, world class healthcare facilities, centers of higher education, shopping centers, restaurants, sports, arts and entertainment. More specifically, the Verdir apartments are very close to the Texas Medical Center, Hermann Park (which includes the Houston Zoo and Hermann Park golf course), Museum District and finally downtown Houston.Because of the above factors, my stay at the Verdir has been, and continues to be, an enjoyable and comfortable experience. The largest influence to my time here is the Verdir’s management team (JMG Realty). They have always treated me very well and when there are concerns, they continue to act responsibly and promptly to address them, whether the concerns are within my apartment or within the apartment community.I look forward to continuing my residency at the Verdir and I would highly recommend living here. I have lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved my time at the Verdir. As a student in the medical center, I really enjoyed being able to ride my bike to work and run across the street to hermann park. I had lived at another hermann park complex before Verdir and Verdir was exceptionally better. I felt safer here (key fob to elevators), gates are very rarely dysfunctioning, maintenance is responsive, etc. And the leasing office staff was so much nicer than others in the surrounding area.To lay out pros and cons of my time at Verdir:cons:-youre still near hermann park area where car break ins/bike theft is not uncommon. You just have to learn not to leave anything out-I had a few water issues in 2 different units that I lived in here (one leaky AC and one garbage disposal) but maintenance fixed them immediately so it wasnt a huge deal-amenities could use some upgrading. The gym is not that exciting but the equipment actually does work which is more than I could say about my last place-parking is below the complex so I had a few times where I had to move my car during storms (but this was more to be on the safe side not because it actually flooded)-mail room is a mess. The packages are just left for anyone to take. With that being said though, I never had a package stolen in the 2 years that I lived there but I was very diligent to pick up my packages as soon as they arrived-internet. Verdir has a contract with ATT that limits your internet speed which was really annoying when trying to work from homepros:-Incredible leasing staff. Kayla is absolutely amazing and I feel like I can trust her to get anything done when I need it. She was super nice when we toured and she continued to be that helpful the entire time that I lived there.-Maintenance is really responsive. I love the maintenance team at Verdir and you always see them on site and wave/chat with them. I had two emergency occasions where maintenance was there within 30 minutes (after hours)-Location, Location, Location! I absolutely loved running in hermann park and being so close to work. Verdir really is the best bang for your buck in this area-Really spacious units-Really clean complex. Like I said maintenance is always there cleaning things or making sure everything is running and you can tell. The elevators are usually always clean, there isnt a bug problem, etc. (this was a big issue at other nearby complexes)overall, I recommend living here, especially if youre a student working in the med center. Its less expensive than the surrounding properties for the same safety, quality, and convenience.
