It’s a great price and really close to campus. The front office and maintenance team are prompt and AMAZING. However, the buildings are kind of old, the laundry machines suck, and it’s easy for bugs to get in… I think the pros outweigh the cons, and I would recommend living here ¨̮

I absolutely love Treehouse! The apartment is lovely. The location is fantastic. But moreso than the apartment and location, the staff here are amazing! Emily and Tyler in the front office are extremely kind and helpful. In terms of maitenance, Gary and David do a stellar job. They take care of things so quickly, and they are extremely helpful. When I have any issues, they get taken care of very quickly!

I absolutely loveeee living here!! They treat their residents amazing and are very engaging. Would recommend singing a lease here as they are very prompt with maintenance request and are very reasonable priced!!

Treehouses maintenance is very responsive! David with their maintenance crew was super friendly and came out within 24hours and got my hot water back on AND unclogged my sink drain which wasn’t even on the request.

This is my first apartment, it makes me feel safe and i love it. I love how everyone is so calm and nice, no loud neighbors. It is in the most perfect location, I really couldnt have picked a better location.

Treehouse is a great place to live. It’s so close to campus and very easy for me to walk to my classes. I love my cozy unit and I get to live with my best friend. Its perfect for a college student’s first ever apartment. It’s the cheapest one/two bedroom you’re gonna find this close to campus. The units are a bit older and there aren’t any luxurious amenities but that stuff doesn’t matter when you’re this close to campus. The maintenance staff is amazing, shout out to Gary, the best maintenance guy ever. Gary responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner and he’s helped us out so much since we’ve moved in. No major problems while living here. Such a friendly environment, and this is a place where you’ll get to know your neighbors.

Ive absolutely loved living here for the past few years. Its by far the best apartments Ive lived in. Its super close to campus, which is why I think is why most people live here. The staff are super friendly, maintenance requests are usually done within a day if not same day, and the front desk is always super helpful. Its also just off the beaten path enough so that you can also be surrounded by wildlife, even though its only a block from campus. Its also very pet friendly for the most part, which may be a downside if you cant stand being around other peoples animals, but its a definite plus for us.That being said, these are older apartments, so there are a few issues. For instance, our air conditioning unit is constantly breaking down and keeping temperature control is harder on these older buildings. The laundry room is also rather small for 100+ units (only six machines of each) and if a machine or two are down you can have a hard time finding a time to do laundry here. Its also pricey, but thats just going to be the cost of living so close, I think. Definitely worth the price.Given how incredibly helpful the desk is, this is a great option for kids who want or need the freedom of living off campus by themselves. Like I said maintenance will be there within a day and will even help with things like changing lightbulbs or hanging picture frames in case your kid runs into something they arent quite sure how to work in their first apartment out of the house.

Great apartments. Ive lived here for about two years now. My experience can be summed up with the following:The management staff has always been helpful, the maintenance crew on time, the apartments have always been presented to me upon my move in date as clean and in full working order, and theres always free food.To be fair though, it can get a little noisy at night depending on your neighbors, almost every Friday the maintenance crew will mow the grass, which can be loud, and earlier this year I had a roach infestation which has been taken care of.If you are thinking about moving in then I highly recommend doing so.

Treehouse has been nothing but amazing! They are the closest apts to campus and they are right next to a cute shopping center too! It is an older property, but you can’t beat the pricing and location. Maintenance has always fixed my issues and they always update me if it can’t be fixed the same day. The front office staff is always so helpful and they always have really cool resident events.During the winter storm, they tried their best to be in the office for residents despite the city not having power. They gave us pizzas and a warm place if we didn’t have one.I haven’t had any safety issues since moving here and I already renewed my lease! Treehouse is definitely the place to be!

The staff is great and it’s location is so amazing. If you want an apartment close to campus then this is such a good option. My only concern is that maintenance issues take too long to resolve. You have to call over and over to get things fixed. My sons rent an apartment here and it took too many service calls to fix their AC unit last summer. But we are signing a new lease this summer for this next year.

I have loved my stay here at Treehouse. The location is the best out of any other option in San Marcos for the price. Its a quiet, cozy apartment complex that is the best for relaxing after a long day at the river... I mean... Classes. The apartment I was in was very clean when I moved in, and solid. I have enjoyed this apartment out of any of the others Ive lived in. I highly recommend staying here!

So Ive lived here for two years (the first year on a second floor apartment and the second year on a first floor), and am only moving because my s/o wants to move somewhere with a gym, and a in-home washing machine. But these are very small issues! Living here meant that I could leave for school 15 minutes before class and still make it early- I NEVER had to take a bus to school, and walking to the rec for a place to work out isnt very difficult. EVERY APARTMENT HAS IT FLAWS, but the staff is so amazing and they legitimately care about your living experience, including making sure that they always have snacks and drinks in the office consistently as well as having days where they buy pizza, breakfast tacos, sandwiches from Erberts! Maintenance is so fast and willing to help you with whatever you need. Also, the only AC complaint Ive had is that mine leaked but only some times so that made it hard to diagnose but I have NEVER been stuck with a broken AC in either apartment. The ONLY noise complaint I have ever had is from the landscaping early on Fridays. Bottom line is, if you dont mind the simple things in regards to amenities (and being a student is an added bonus, though there are plenty of people here that arent students), Treehouse is an amazing place to live. Just be nice to the staff and they will always take care of you!

Great place to live. College students just like leaving bad reviews. They make it easy to pay rent, the office is great, great location and theyre pretty good about fixing stuff. Plus this place is really inexpensive compared to many similar locations here in town

I’ve lived here off and on for the past 3 years. Hands down, great place to live! During the recent ice storm in Texas, they kept us updated constantly and offered free food daily. They will work with you on any issue you may have. So grateful to live here! Thank you Treehouse!

Such a good complex. The office does nice things like give out free food especially during finals week. The complex is nice and quiet. Have never had a night that I couldnt sleep because of noise.

Great apartment to live at. Great management. The people giving it bad reviews are usually ones who know the rules, yet are too oblivious to follow them. Dont listen to the negative reviews, they are simply a few angry people who refuse to follow basic living rules and procedures.

It’s pretty chill. It’s only rea selling points is distance to campus and individual leases so you don’t have to worry about roommates missing payments. Maintenance gets to issues quickly, and office staff is helpful.
