My kids is very happy she is an awesome, great person very patient and wonderful to take care of business professional everything was taken care of all I had to do was pick up my keys everyone was nice in the office. I have been staying here for a little over 2 years now and since living here have never run into any major issues, any maintenance issue i have sent in a request for was always addressed the same day within a few hours. If i need assistance in the leasing office i always go and see Charde Lewis and she is always extremely helpful in fixing any problems that do arise. If you come here looking to lease an apartment i would definitely recommend Charde. She shows integrity with everyone that she deals with including myself and other staff/tenants that i have seen her deal with as well

Been living at Huxley since 2/2023. I have renewed 3 leases with them (all short leases) due to not knowing where my next move will be permanently. I really enjoy my stay here! Charde has always been attentive to me since the start. She is prompt and answers all of my questions that I may have. I have had roach incidents but nothing crazy. These are old apts so be mindful of that. Washer/dryer is included in your unit with additional charge on rent. The area is super convenient and by the looks of it, these apts are the best ones compared to the other ones that are near by. Yes, theres always people out and about on W. Bartell Dr but when I am INSIDE my apt that has nothing to do with me. I dont have noisy neighbors and to be honest the whole complex minds their own. Its always quiet any time I have stepped out to my car etc. I can honestly say I have enjoyed my stay here at Huxley

Lori, Chardé and Mercy; is the leasing team every tenant looks for within an apartment leasing office.Chardé was my initial contact person when inquiring about the property. The level of customer service she gave me was astonishing - not thinking I wouldn’t receive such professional assistance but it felt good to receive it.Everything was explained to me, starting from history of the property, amenities, cost and application procedures. I literally completed my online application that evening and it was the best decision I ever made - Thank you, Chardaé!There are several things I love about living at this property; 1. Onsite security 24 hours, 2. Great maintenance team 3. Beautiful and spacious units.Just a personal experience I had with living here for only 4 or 5 months, Chardé and Lori - went over and beyond to rectify the problem and ensured my concern was their top priority and didn’t stop until everything was resolved.My family and I have found our forever home for the foreseeable future and I have to thank The Huxley family Leasing Team, for making this experience lasting!

Living at The Huxley has been great so far. Charde, one of the managers is so professional and always willing to listen first without interruptions before coming up with a resolution. I had some new faucets replaced in my unit and instead of saying put a work order in when I called, she volunteered to come to my unit and walk me through how to operate it. That was definitely topnotch customer service in my opinion. Great work Chardē!

Im happy I chose to move in here. Its relatively quiet and Eddie and maintenance are great. Work orders get done quickly and Eddie goes above and beyond. Now just hoping that pool would open but nothing bad to say, Im happy I moved. My electric bill has never been so high but welcome to Houston heat. At least thats all Im hoping its been because for an apartment set on 74 degrees $277 is rough. Eddie great job!!! Maintenance you too!!¡!

It is that time of the year where I would like to give my thanks to an excellent office and maintenance staff. The Huxley has a very professional staff that is very good at what they were hired to do! I have been here for 8 years now and I have been pleased with this staff the most! When I have any thing that needs to be done in my apartment I put in a service request and it is taken care of quickly. When I have questions about my rent I promptly get an answer from the office staff. There is no reason for me to move because I am content where I am now. I am on the side where the auto shop is and that is the only little noise I hear sometimes!So to the staff that’s here now I sayTHANK YOU for such a pleasant community!

Out of all the apartments I’ve ever lived this one has the best management! I’m not even one to write reviews but every single time a problem of mine was presented to them they addressed and remedied the situation with hast! I honestly love them! Chard’e and her team are so helpful and will really make you feel valued! Plus the price for the location is tough to beat! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been living here at the Huxley since July 2022, this is my second time living here at this property. I’m very grateful that my maintenance request are answered in a timely manner and, that the property manager, JP Gonzales always follows up with making sure that the jobs are done correctly and properly. When I lived here 2005-2010 nothing was ever completed with the maintenance, I’m grateful for what’s going on with the property management now. Thanks again!

While living here the apartment ownership changed. The new ownership is doing complete make overs of all apartments so I was unable to renew my lease in my existing apartment. Luckily I was given plenty of notice (2 months) and was able to work with the staff to make sure I could obtain a new residence prior to the end of my lease. The new apartments are freshly painted with new floors and granite counters. They’ve also redone the pools and landscaping. The team even pushed construction so the apartment on the floor I wanted was available an entire week early. Contacting them was never an issue and they were easy to work with. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come from the new ownership!

At the beginning we weren’t sure about the apartment because of issues out of their control. Nicole who runs the lessening office is just amazing. She was with us every step of the way and the few issues we did have she fixed them as soon as we reported them. Our neighbors are nice and respectful.

Great Staff! Benjamin is very easy to work with. He made my move a little easier. He was patient and provides the best customer service ever. Thank you! Maintenance comes to investigate repairs in less than one hour the two times Ive had to call. The neighborhood is gated and its quiet. Very close to the medical center, freeways, shopping areas, and downtown. Reasonable prices and sometimes they offer special deals.

I have been living here at this apartment community since 2012! I have seen a lot of office staff come and go. I can honestly say that I am so pleased with the office staff that is now here at The Huxley! Whenever I have a question or concern, the staff will show concern and address it! The maintenance request is done in a very good timely matter. The phone in the office usually just ring and ring without being answered. But now I can honestly say again that Ms. Carla and the staff is on point.I was disappointed when the switch happened, thinking that here we go again with these changes. To my surprise, it has been a good switch, and I am very very happy with the new staff being here. I will be renewing my lease. Thanks so much!

My name is Virginia I moved here back in June of this year...with the exception of Ms Linda her maintenance staff and one of her leasing consultants I would have left. Ms Linda is of the utmost professional and she takes her time with you and explain everything...shes very warm and welcoming unlike that assistant manager who can careless and is also very deceiving...she totally misconstrue everything and I mean everything that you say to her...and if you dont believe me as a management company You guys should really listen to the tape recordings...I was very discouraged after speaking with her earlier and I could not go to my second job but Ms Linda after I spoke to her in person made me feel like I was important and she values me as a resident...PLEASE HELP US...AS A MANAGER YOUR TEAM IS A REFLECTION OF YOU AND IM SORRY TO SAY HER ASSISTANT IS THE MISSING LINK

The prices here are amazing and the amenities are even better, they even have 2 pools on the property. Im so excited to be able to move into my first apartment by the end of the year.

Ive been living at the edge which was formally known as Ashley park , for 7 years and have had no problems ! , Nicole earl is one and if not the best leasing / managers Ive ever known . her knowledge of the property is excellent and she makes sure a work order is taken care of immediately through their hard working maintenance crew and the rest of the staff are awesome also . the property is well lite and I feel safe and I really enjoy make stay here at the edge .

The staff is all very supportive they help you in any way they can. The maintenance is great they come the same day to fix problems and if they can not make it they notify you. Everything is done online so you always have records of the things you submit. Parking is easy and always available. Great appliances, amenities and apartment in general!!!

About me as a resident: I keep my head down, stay out the way, love on my neighbors, pay on time, and take pride of my living quarters. For things that matter, this place is a 3 1/2 star, but I rated up b/c my over-all experience caused for a rate up instead of down. *Really wanted to rate a 1, but read to see why.Location - off the interstate, in the medical center, convenient commute to social and work life. Learn the schedule (teaxans game, monster jam, beyonce/taylor swift concerts, gun shows, etc) and traffic will never be a problem.Neighborhood - its edgy (LOL), but inside the gates, its quiet and safe. I LOVE my neighbors!!My apartment - looks nice on the inside, been here 7 going on 8 years. I dont have a remolded/updated unit, but what I have is nice and clean. Most people are surprised when they visit my home :-)Pest control - no issues. I had ONE issue, one time and that was due to nasty upstairs neighbors. management handled the matter swiftlyFlooding - it floods at the gate going out/in and all around, but thankfully (so far), it has yet to flood inside the gate. the water gets a little high by the drains, but just park further away and your vehicle will be good. Dont try to drive in/out of the gate if you see the water is high. DONT DO IT! I learned the hard way! LOLOffice management - they are no nonsense, but they handle their business accordingly. they have a timely response and communicate with you regarding issues/complaints. I appreciate mutual respect and you get that with them.*************Corporate office /owner - Ive only had 1 direct interaction with corporate and that went very good. However, corporate is the sole reason why I rated the huxley 3 1/2 (and really wanted to rate it a 1).I understand money/profit is the motive for going into business. This company nickle and dime its residents and make decisions that are NOT resident focused/centered costing agitation and money.2 Examples:Changing the parking policy which has worked for at least 7 years; here comes corporate enforcing a flawed, inconvenient, and privacy invasive parking system for residents. Changing parking here is always a disaster and usually results in reverting back to the previous system.*****Charging or requesting the residents replace things typically covered by the apartment/done by maintenance.......not to mention the new move-out list/expectations (write down ANY and EVERY thing thats not right/done/perfect/clean, no matter how minute. seriously). I would never move out and leave the apartment nasty, but they ask for things to be cleaned/replaced that I had to google (thought I was moving recently - thats how I know)! Advice for new renters - ask for a copy of the move out list/expectations so you can be sure to check THOSE items in the beginning during the move-in walk-through.****Corporate sends out resident surveys, but what do yall do with that information?****Yes, I harped on corporate/owner b/c sometimes the team can be good, but they have to do their job and enforce/implement rules from corporate/the ownerMaintenance - they are GOOD. they come quickly, fix issues, and you can trust them in your home! they leave things just as they found it too/clean up after themselves.

I am enjoying my stay here at The Huxley at Medical Center. The staff is very professional and friendly. The maintenance staff always takes care of my issues the same day I submit the request for a service repair. They keep the property clean as well. I have recommended this property to my friends because its in a great location and they have great prices. You can actually walk to the Reliant Stadium from here, and save money on parking when you go to a Texans game or something at the NRG Stadium.

I have been living at the Huxley for almost a year and I love it. The office staff is the best. Especially Joshua Taylor, hes the greatest. Its a cool place to live and close to every and anything you could think of to eat. The only downside is the hangout spot under the tree. It makes you feel kind of skeptical when walking down the sidewalk. But all in all, The Huxley is alright with me.
