    The Collective is such a great place!! The staff are all very kind and respectful, and they never hesitate to give a helping hand!! They also have a nice clubhouse that gives off a great study atmosphere, perfect for students. 10/10 this place is worth being at!! Love that it’s pet friendly :)

    My Wifi is my only issue I have had, Maintenance is fast, Rooms and amenities have been nice. I just need the WiFi to stop going out when I’m doing homework, that’s about it, thanks

    Overall I have loved living at The Collective Lubbock. The management and maintenance team are great. Mail has been pretty good and the Amazon Hub is very helpful. There were only a few times that mail got sent directly to my doorstep and once across the street to another apartment complex, but that of course was the carriers fault. The property is great and well kept. The only issue I had during my stay which was frustrating is that, while I am sure he was confused, my roommate and I were given the impression in December of 2021 by the person giving our tour that we would have access to the clubhouse and workout facilities. It is now the end of the semester and we are graduating and they are saying the facilities are going to be open May 1st. We are graduating and moving so this isnt much help. We just would have considered other options if we had known that we would never have gotten to use those facilities included in the rent we are paying. Overall, I would recommend the collective, but only knowing that facilities are opening up. Move in was good, but will see how move out goes. Have never felt unsafe and it is really nice to have the bus stop on the property that takes you to campus. The other main thing with the units is that the floors temperatures remain very different. There is one thermostat downstairs. Upstairs remains very hot while downstairs stays very cold. If you turn on the heat, the upstairs gets very hot very fast. No ceiling fan in upstairs bedrooms so just be sure to get a good fan.

    I had a great experience living here the last 3 years. The apartment was and well-equipped, and the community atmosphere made it easy to make new friends. The staff was friendly and always available to help. The clubhouse upgrades are nice! I would highly recommend this place to any student looking for a comfortable and fun place to live while studying.

    I moved in this year to the collective and I have loved it! I believe it is one of the best student housing locations in Lubbock. I have not had any issues with management/staff. Anytime I have had issues they have answered my questions! I even had an issue with my apartment and maintenance fixed it quick and easy! I saw the new renovated clubhouse and it is awesome!

    I have lived at the Cottages, now the Collective for 3 years. I have loved it, I am sad to leave this summer because of all the fun memories I’ve made here. It is a great option for off campus housing right out of the dorms. I love how rent is paid per room and there are no financial ties with roommates.The maintenance team under the new management, is amazing, they almost always tend to your service requests in literal minutes and are always so kind, understanding, and always do a great job. They deserve a raise! However, they recently switched wifi/cable providers sense under new management, and I have been having so many issues even during this past fall semester. Where one day I’ll have perfect wifi and the next I will have none at all or for a very small portion of the day which can be very stressful when a lot of exams are online (it crashed when I was taking a final). I never experienced any wifi issues with the past management so it’s been frustrating that it has been happening under the new management and my last year living here. Other than the recent wifi issues I really don’t have any other complaints. As long as the wifi issue is resolved, I have no doubts you will love living here! Also, Make sure to always lock your doors, windows, and car. I know of someone that had their living room tv stolen due to them leaving their living room window unlocked several years ago. I also definitely recommend the covered parking for better security + protection from bird droppings. Also they tow A LOT during the school year almost every night actually, so when you have friends over make sure to have them park in the front!!!

    So, the cottages is my second apartment complex to live in. (Well its more like a town home). Anyways, I moved in January 2012 and they have been very helpful. The staff has always been nice to me. Whenever there is a problem from the door handle being loose to light bulbs needing to be changed to the air conditioner not working properly, they have gotten a guy out to me the day I report the problem.As far as roommates go, I have been very lucky. Every roommate I have had at the cottages have been good. They clean up after themselves and we respect each others space. I went potluck and happened to get placed with some very nice girls. We keep it clean and nice and we havent had any issues with the place looking rundown.If you like the model home and the price isnt out of your price range I would recommend someone to the cottages.Oh, and the club house is pretty nice, during summer people go out to the pool, and theres even a movie theater that you can use whenever you want and you can have loads of people over to the theatre to watch a movie or a game on cable tv... which is pretty cool.

    My three roommates and I have lived here going on three years now. We have been, overall, very happy with the accommodations. The maintenance is reliable and quick to come out and help us with anything. The rooms and furnishings are up to date and good quality. The cottages of lubbock are very competitively priced with the other student complexes in the area. We also feel very safe in our complex and around the property. I always highly recommend the cottages to friends and acquaintances that are looking for student living.

    I personally LOVE living here! it’s my first year here and i’ve never had any problems! the staff here is super helpful with any of my needs, i was even able to move in a little bit early thanks to them accommodating to my needs! they are always very quick to fix any problems with our cottage! when i moved in the rooms were super clean, they also take well into me having a cat and always make sure she’s in my room/the cottage before leaving which i appreciate a bunch! i would definitely recommend living here!!

    As a parent, you do your best to find a combination of safety, comfort and value when you are sourcing housing for your college kid. We searched high and low and did all the research and I’m here to tell you that the Collective has provided all three for our daughter. From the management to the amenities to the responsiveness of the maintenance team, The Collective was definitely the right choice.

    I love living here! Being a college student one needs a home away from home and the cottages have accomplished that. I’ve never had any problems. I had a complaint about recurring payments and I went to the main office where the staff was able to assist me and put everything in order for things to go smoothly every month. It was clean when I moved in and nothing was broken or missing. And the location is perfect! 5/5 recommend living here

    I LOVE living here! Such a cute complex and so close to campus! Feels way safer & it’s awesome living near friends! The only complaint I really have is that the gym is only open when the office is open, it’d be much better if the gym was 24/7!

    It is with sad news that I have to tell you that my girlfriend and I will be leaving The Collective at Lubbock this summer to move back to the Colorado area. We have absolutely loved our last 3 years renting through you guys, and we couldnt have asked for a better management company. We found you by chance back in 2020 and never once considered moving anywhere else within The Collective. A big shoutout to Junior and Maria at the office for being so helpful and nice. Thank you so much for your exceptional service from the front desk to maintenance. Keep up the great work!

    When my daughter told me she wanted to live here with two of her sorority sisters, I immediately checked it out. I was concerned by all the negative google reviews. Despite my reservations on living at the Cottages she signed a lease and I moved her in. I want to address several negative things people have said on their review: First they do not deduct money from my account nor can they. You pay monthly and they do not have access to your banking. Second: maintenance has been excellent and very prompt. I have contacted them a few times since move in and each time was the same great experience. When they leave there is no mess and a note is left to say they were there and what was done. You can put in a maintenance request online which is very convenient, and can be specific if there are times you prefer, or if you want to be there. Third: I have contacted one of the managers and she has always been excellent, I really cant say anything negative about this place. Yes there are young students working there, that may not always be the most knowledgable but in my experience they get with who knows to get me the right answer. This is a college community so I would expect college students working! Every single thing has always been handled in a timely manner with no problems or hesitations. As for security or safety, yes there are homeless etc. The area is not the best location in Lubbock and that is for all the apartments near there. We are from Lubbock so yes we know the town. They really seem to care about the tenants safety. I read comments about pro-rating rent and we did not have that either, nor was I told we would. I feel this is a good place for students to live and have a good experience.

    The location is great, just a few minutes walk from campus and close to all the amenities one could need, including restaurants, stores, and public transportation.The management team is excellent, always responsive and helpful, and they go above and beyond to make sure that I have everything I need. Any maintenance issues are addressed promptly. Had no issues this year.

    I have lived here for four years. If that doesnt tell you how much I like it then I dont know what will. Ive had ups and downs with the staff/management, but what apartment complex has positive experiences with the staff 100% of the time?? None.. Of course maintenance may sometimes take a while, but if it is an emergency they are normally at your apartment ASAP.So, overall I highly recommend living here. Ashley and Gina are the managers and will help you if you truly need it. Be nice to them! They are really trying to help you.

    The Cottages is the best student housing! The convenient location, helpful staff, and welcoming atmosphere are only a few of the advantages. The staff is so nice, and maintenance is available to help within a few days of submitting your request. There are busses that run every 10 minutes to and from campus, and The Cottages is the first stop! When I moved into The Cottages this year I arrived a few days early, but it was not a problem at all. My room had already been painted and cleaned, and my mailbox key was ready right away! My roommates and I are planning on living in The Cottages until we graduate.

    I have lived in the Cottages of Lubbock for almost a year now, and I have been very impressed so far. My roommates and I feel safe, which is so important and we also love the community. We have built so many friendships living on campus. Our neighbors have grown to be some of our best friends. Knocking on each others doors for milk, ice, or sugar. Not to mention the beautiful view outside my window that over looks the pool. I love how clean it looks and how well taken care of the property is. The gym is amazing, I am so glad I dont have to go far whenever I decide to workout, we have a great facility and I couldnt be happier. I plan on living at the cottages until I graduate.Harmony

    I am going to be living at the Cottages for the third year this upcoming school year. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Cottages. Every time something has broke or gone wrong in our cottage, they have fixed it within a timely manner. I feel very safe as a girl living here. The staff are so helpful with anything I need. Not to mention the location is in the perfect are. Totally recommend living here, I have never had an issue.

    In my second year of living off campus, the cottages have everything I could ever want and need. I have not once ever felt unsafe in my home. Theres a study floor, gym, pool, and bbq pits for all of the residents. The main office staff is always happy to help you with whatever request or concern you may have. I love having my own room, bathroom, and closet as well as sharing the common space(living/dining room, kitchen) with my roommates. Every Monday the office has coffee and donuts ready to go, to start off the morning right. Maintenance requests are always answered within 3-5 business days as well. I definitely recommend the Cottages of Lubbock not only for the affordable price but the safe and comfortable environment and place.

    An awesome apartment complex for a variety of residents, the Cottages of Lubbock are the premier residence in Lubbock. There are many opportunities to meet fellow residents through activities and events put on by the staff on a regular basis. The amenities are top-notch and include but arent limited to: a fitness room, large pool, and study/lounge areas with access to printers. And if youre an animal person, the complex is pet-friendly! Overall they are a great place to live and conveniently located near campus.

    Home away from home feel. Not like other places where it feels like you are living in a hotel. Not gated so youre friends can actually come visit you and they dont have to wait at the gate for me. The Cottages is so much more convenient than any other overpriced living at Tech. Best bang for your buck and staff actually cares about residents unlike other places that just want you for your money. Also, everybody that says the first month isnt pro rated, doesnt know what they are talking about. You sign your lease with paying it in twelve separate payments, therefore your rent is actually cheaper than places with rent because they can give you extra charges without you knowing. Maintenance works fast and when workers walk in the houses they are very professional and respect your privacy. Thank you for a great living experience!!

    Cottages of Lubbock has been nothing but amazing. So accomadating and helpful. People who work for Maintenance are absolutely fantastic. As soon as I turn in a request they are there to fix the problem. Anytime I go into the office, I’m welcomed with warm smiles and people who are not only willing, but want to help!!!     Living off campus is something everyone looks forward to in college.     This is my second year living at the Cottages in a 4 bedroom. The Cottages are not like other apartment complexes, they are better, it feels more like a home atmosphere! They are newly updated with stainless steel, granite counters and dark wood floors. They have a nice work out room in the main office which is very convenient! Whenever there are issues with your cottage mainentience is there to help you within a few days of request. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly, and willing to help you out the best they can with any questions or requests. One of the things I love most about living at the Cottages is the location. It is not far from campus, easy access to marsha sharp, and they have busses that come every 10 mins to take you on campus. It is also the first stop, so you never have to worry about the bus being full on your way to class. My roommates and I plan on living here until we graduate!

    I don’t normally write reviews but I want to say we have had nothing but a positive experience with The Cottages. As a parent, I think reviews are very important. From past experiences, I was a bit worried about an apartment setting but we didn’t have one bad experience and the staff has been nothing but amazing. I would definitely recommend them over and over.

    I like living here. I like my unit it is like a tiny house. Close to campus and Broadway. Yes there are issues just like anywhere else. When I do have problems they get resolved pretty quick. Maintenance is pretty good about fixing stuff.

    Maintenance. Had an issue with the water heater during the cold storm. Same day as the maintenance request was put in, Robert came to figure out the issue. Within 2 hours, Robert, Veronica, and Heath were able to get the tank drained, part replaced, and back up and running. These three are always so kind and helpful.

    Came into this place with a unit that was uninhabitable and while it was a frustrating situation to deal with this whole weekend the Cottages management and staff were very accomodating with me and my parents in their efforts to remedy our problems. They provided me with a place to stay and were very persistant on getting my unit fixed asap.

    I lived at the cottages for 3 years and could not recommend it more! Love the staff, amenities and how comfortable the units are! Lived at capstone and did not like it....

    Absolutely love living here!! Buses are very convenient and I can always stop by the clubhouse for donuts and a coffee before class

    Living here was wonderful and everyone was so helpful that worked there, I remember one girl named anna was really awesome and helped me out a lot. I highly recommend living here

    The workout area is really nice, and there are fun events each month. Just recently there was a dog party at the office that was really fun!
