    Its a fantastic place to visit! Heather, one of our customers, was very grateful and incredibly polite. The refrigerator was not in good condition, so I informed her, and she immediately took care of it. I also informed her just one day before, and she responded quickly and got everything done. I requested an urgent follow-up, and she managed everything within a day before I moved. I was impressed by her quick response and how responsibly she handled the situation.     Ive been looking for a new home, and I have never had such a good experience viewing an apartment in person.     5/5 stars for leasing agent Rashod! My girlfriend and I were “walk-in’s” and he took great care of us. He’s very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained all the amenities, floor-plans, prices, & gave us a tour of the building and model unit. He then helped us find the best unit based on our needs/wants and facilitated the entire approval process. We got approved & are picking up keys today. As far as living here I cant say much as of now but so far so good.

    Everyone Ive met so far is so friendly and there are always snacks in the lobby. I enjoy that they have themed snacks and events each month too. Its a really nice place to live.

    This rating is for the all-star staff in the leasing office, especially Mr. Whitaker. The process of completing my lease transfer has been a carefree experience. Rashod has helped me choose the best unit for my needs and personal stylistic choices, as well as talked me through all my options with my best interest always at the forefront of the conversation. I never felt like I was being rushed to make a decision (like Ive felt at other places) or like asking for three separate quotes for three separate units was too much. Everyone seems like they really enjoy their job and that makes coming to the office an enjoyable experience!

    I’ve lived here over a year and loved it. I’ve had absolutely no issues with the community or management. Anything that came up within my unit was promptly fixed. Anytime I personally went to the office with a request, concern, or questions, Kiersten, the community manager, always went above and beyond to assist me. The team periodically hosted community events, which just further showed that they do care about the wellbeing of their tenants and overall ambiance of the complex. Management also did their best to handle and fix outside factors (homeless/thieves, unwanted parking, facility & amenity repair) to the best of their ability and in a reasonable timeframe. For the record, those are things you will experience at ANY apartment complex, especially in this area, and SUR512 handled it appropriately. I am grateful for Kiersten, and the rest of the staff, because it has made my stay at SUR512 a stable and happy experience.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to Rashod & Amen!We moved to Austin from Louisville in August, so we were unable to actually view our apartment prior to move in. If it was not for these two individuals I would have rated our overall experience with ⭐⭐!The location does have some great amenities, and they have already made some significant adjustments but the initial issues would have never been resolved with out the individual contributions from Rashod & Eamon.

    I just had a transportation crisis and needed to charge my electric vehicle. Their charging stations are for residents only, so as a non-resident I knew it was a long shot to ask to use their stations. The office staff was super friendly and helpful, and they let me use their charging station! So glad not to need to get towed today.

    I can say many things about the staff here at SUR 512, however amongst the bunch of lovely individuals, there is a shining star Rashod Whitaker! If something was requested and completed from start to finish, I would bet a million bucks, if I had it, that Rashod had something to do with the task getting done.He offers astounding customer service, you always feel listen to and heard, often followed by recognizable results.Rashod has great interpersonal skills, he is kind to the residents and ensures he checks in on your general wellbeing. Always with a smile, he will wave if you catch eye contact when you pass by the leasing office, what a guy!Most of all, he creates an accepting atmosphere for all through his notable desire to support and resolve your issues. Speaking of a cool safe dude, this man was wearing a pride shirt, on pride month, in the leasing office with a big smile on his face, a true ally! He treats all guest equally, definitely an asset to not only his team, but the world.What can I say, Rashod is great! He deserves a bonus on top of a bonus this year, because I bet you he’s already earned it!

    I toured with Rashod (Tao) yesterday and he was incredibly informative and helpful with answering questions and letting me see the available units I was interested in. For a newer staff member he is so knowledgeable about the property and was open about the issues with trash that is being addressed by the new management. I’ve toured dozens of apartments in my years in Austin and no leasing agent has made me feel more welcome or more sure about my decision to lease at their complex than Rashod did. We had a great time touring because he asked all the right questions, let me take my time looking at the units and has made the application process extremely easy. Looking forward to moving to my new home soon!

    Love living here! Everything looks/feels new and the interior is just as cute as it looks in the pictures online. The leasing office is super helpful and always so nice every time my roommate and I reach out. Maintenance is also AMAZINGLY fast even with the tiniest work orders. All the entrances to the building require your key fob or garage clicker for added security which I love. Definitely would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment.

    My roommate and I are coming to the end of our 12 month lease at SUR512 and I cannot say enough great things about this apartment complex. Not only is it perfectly located on South Congress; the actual apartment unit, building and staff are great as well! Our apartment was spotless when we moved in and all the appliances have been in tip top shape this whole year. My roommate and I feel completely safe and we love the drive up parking garage with direct floor access to our unit. NOT TO MENTION the awesome pool and events they put on every month! Lastly, anytime we had to put in a work order for something minor, there was always someone there to take care of it within a couple days. Overall we have had the best experience, such a great experience that my roommate is going to stay another year as I move to live in a townhome! I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

    Living here has been so much better then any other apartments I have lived at in Austin even with all this covid-19 mess. Its absolutely my dream apartment with all the finishes I could ask for. I have never felt unsafe once here and i love the Amenities. The food trucks and live music by the pool have really been nice during these crazy times we have been having. I would definitely recommend over and over again

    I was one of the first residents to move-in in March with a not so smooth move-in because of all the construction, miscommunication, car break-in via the garage, noise, and delays, but I am loving the community thus far. Maintenance and the team are always super quick to address any issues that Im having and are super nice to all residents. The features of the apartment are super modern with designer touches. The pool is also a great amenity. Floor plans are also way more spacious than those that are downtown which is why I moved to South Congress. Ive met quite a few of the neighbors and cares team and every one is so friendly as well. Great place to be and also away from downtown craziness and traffic.

    Sur512 is great! Right off South Congress close to downtown and 290 and right by 35 for those commutes towards San Antonio. Its nestled right next to a creek which makes for great scenery and some peace and quiet. They have woods views and very large yards for the pups. Interior is modern, spacious, and well designed. There is ramp parking which is great to avoid hail damage and keep the vehicle out of the heat. Everything is gated and secure including the parking ramp. Property is well maintained, and maintenance is very responsive. Between the two buildings there are two pools and two gyms for use as well as a business center and common area. I want to point out this property recently became under new management and they have done a great job. Check it out for yourself, it really is a great place in a great location with great amenities.

    I have lived at Sur512 for almost a year and a half and love it. I was the first person to ever live in my apartment and they had really good move in specials when I signed and re-signed. The kitchen and bathroom are all nice and modern. I use the gym in my building and all the equipment is brand new and works great. The location for me is convenient to my workplace but also close to downtown, east Austin, and quick trips to the outlets in San Marcos. I definitely recommend to my friends!

    My roommate and I are moving to Austin, and toured 6 apartment complexes in the area. Although we decided to go with another complex, only because of an availability issue, we had an absolutely amazing tour. Theresa, our leasing agent, was professional, outgoing, and extremely welcoming! The property was beautifully decorated, and had a young, upbeat feel to it. I would 100% recommend Sur512!

    I have been a very happy resident of Sur512 for the last 6 months. I moved from the east side to a bigger apartment for less and I am impressed with everything so far and especially the leasing office. Having trash valet has been incredible and even though I face the pool my apartment is quiet 99% of the time which was my biggest issue coming from the east side. Definitely give this place a shot!

    Moved here in July and it has been top notch since weve lived here. Maintenance is always on top what needs to be done, and the staff arranges really awesome social events and giveaways ALL THE TIME. My fav so far is a tie between the P. Terrys serving up cheeseburgers and the Mimosa & Waffle Brunch. Sur512 definitely knows they way to my heart (food!) and its been a treat especially coming down to get coffee when I need it. We love it here!

    Wanted to leave a review for the new on site team! My roommate and I moved in November and had a terrible experience with Travis the old property with CREA. He was unwilling to help and gives this industry a bad reputation. Greystar recently took the property over. Natalie and Josh were very helpful with addressing our needs. We moved out only because of the prior team but happy to see that SUR has a chance to get back to what it used to be. Best of luck Greystar team!

    Signing a lease here was the greatest decision for an apartment Ive made since I moved to Austin. Rene worked hand in hand with me from the start of the initial tour to the actual handing over of keys for move in. A stellar customer service agent to the community as well as to the office front, he went above and beyond the norm to provide a great resident experience.

    We moved in to our apartment at the start of covid19 which meant we signed virtually and were not able to check out the property until the day that we showed up to pick up keys. Although it was a hectic time to apartment hunt, Sur512 did a great job at arranging a facetime tour and getting us set up to move in. We live in the South building with our dog and since were facing the greenbelt we have the peace and quiet that we were looking for. Its an unique time because of the pandemic but I appreciate the efforts to maintain social distancing measures at all the amenities. Personally, I think its a prime location in South Austin, its a short drive from downtown, lake access, state park, etc.

    This place has the potential to be the BEST modern upscale apartment complex out there. But, if only the buildings are well maintained. Door locks broken everywhere compromising security(isnt that what we pay high rent for?)PROs- Apartments are very spacious and well built. Location is absolutely fantastic. If you value location then I would move here just for that. 5 mins from 71/290 which connects to 35 & Mopac. Heart of South Austin and still within 5 miles from Downtown. There are 2 post office in the vicinity, Walmart, HEB, hundreds of restaurants and south Austin specialty food places nearby.POOL - Very well maintained and FANTASTIC in summer time to enjoy.Parking GARAGE -- Very few apt complex in South Austin with this feature.
