    I’ve been here for almost 3 years. Overall it has been a pleasant experience. Management changed while after my first year or so, things like the corn hole, outdoor furniture and tables were removed which took the nice outdoor aesthetic away. Maintenance comes pretty much within 24 hours after an issue is reported so no problem there. The only complaints I have is parking for one. Don’t leave on a Sunday at all because finding a parking spot is near impossible. Second is the high water bill, charging for rain drainage in the winter is bizarre to me. Other than that it’s pretty decent.

    We have been here two years. Good staff , Dawn Bledsoe and her team have been great to work with. The views are great (I love seeing the pool out my window every day). The gym is always clean, well-cared for, and usually not that busy. Overall the entire walk ways and swimming pool were amazing being renovated in recent past. I believe the new owner takes care of the overall apartment very well.The location is awesome. It’s quiet and peaceful. We rarely if ever hear our neighbors. And it’s close to freeway and major supermarkets. We always have enough parking.Apartment finishing are decent. Our apartment’s floors are ceramic tile and carpet, and from my point. just fine. However, the countertops and appliances are pretty decent. Lighting could be better (you can always bring/install your own lighting fixtures/lamps) but due to the large windows I don’t feel the necessity of more lights. Overall, it’s pretty great finishing for the area, view, and price.Recently we got Spectrum internet at 100 MBPS along with TV services , a great addition to this apartment.The apartment is having a very strong maintenance team and their turn around is very quick, I never had any complaint with them. Many times, they help beyond their way.Also, I wanted to mention the friendly mails sent to resident every week on different happenings.Ive seen Dawn and her team put in amazing efforts into transforming this community and shes doing a wonderful job!!” . Overall the management is truly caring and so everything in their power to accommodate their residents. I am happy to live here!!

    My husband and I just decided to move here. We love the floor plan and the office staff (Amy and Amanda) were hands down greatness. From answering all of our questions and helping us get the paperwork completed step by step. It was so refreshing to feel like you’re already home before even feeling out the paperwork. We are looking forward to many years of happy memories to come with our new soon to be HOME!!!

    Amanda the property manager is amazing. She is the sweetest and so relatable. I put in some work orders and they were not done as needed. I went to the office and sat down with Amanda and she was at my door the next day doing a walk through to fix everything that I had issues with. The following day I had two different maintenance guys here completing all my work orders. I have no complaints. The maintenance guys are amazing as well. They always come right in and get the job done!

    I moved into this apartment complex 2 years ago and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the level of service I have received with the new management team. Amy, the Assistant Manager, has been an absolute DELIGHT to work with!! She is incredibly thorough, detailed, and kind. She went out of her way many times to help me transfer into my new apartment, which made the entire process so much smoother. I was incredibly stressed out prior to moving, so I’m truly thankful for all of her hard work. What I love most about Amy is that she is consistently quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I have. Its so refreshing to have someone who truly cares about their residents and wants to ensure that they are happy in their home :)The leasing professionals in the office are also fantastic!! They always greet me with a smile and make me feel cared about. I truly appreciate the level of attention and care that they give to their residents.Lastly, I have to mention the maintenance team. They are fast and ensure that everything is fixed correctly. Its great to know that any issues I may have are taken care of quickly and efficiently.Overall, I am very pleased with the new management and the improvements they have made to this complex. They are the reason I renewed my lease and I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great place to call home ♡︎

    I moved into Sorrento about 2 months ago after selling my house. Shelley in the office was amazing to work with during the application and leasing process. She made it quick and easy! I was in my apartment in 4 days after applying! The apartment complex is great. They have a path by the golf course where I walk my dog (pet waste stations are located every 20-30 feet). Maintenance has been amazing at helping out when I needed them and the staff is very responsive. I love the smart home option and I’m looking forward to using the courtyard area next spring! It’s super quiet and that’s great if you are working from home during these crazy times!!

    I’ve been here a month and it’s been a positive experience so far. Maintenance responds quickly, office staff are friendly and responsive, it’s quiet, and I love the character in the apartment.I came from a brand new high end apartment and didn’t like it at all. These feel much more homey.Love my attached garage and golf course view. The rent is very reasonable.

    We have lived here for about 3 years now, and throughout our entire stay, Melissa B. in the front office, has been absolutely AMAZING! She is always kind and polite to me and my husband, and personally tries to take care of any question or concern that we may have had. She has made living in an apartment feel more at home, when you feel like you have someone you can trust and count on from the main office. When our 1st lease was up, we were just going to renew it, but she knew we were a bigger family and told us that a bigger and prettier (golf course view) apartment was available and that we could just do a transfer. The transfer was easy and our new apartment was so pretty with the view, the white cabinets and grayish/white counters, we loved it! Once Tara joined the team, she has also been very nice and helpful. She also helped to answer any questions we had and helped with things that were out of her control, like a mailing issue. Unfortunately, we have just outgrown Sorrento, with growing teenagers and are moving on to finally start the homebuying process. Melissa and Tara have both been super helpful with ending our lease and getting ready to move. I just wanted to say thank you for what they have done for us and we hope that they get the recognition that they deserve. Thank you!

    We have lived in this complex for 3 1/2 years and enjoy it. Management,Tara and Melissa are always very helpful. The maintenance team are great to work with. We have very few repairs but when we do make a service request there have not been any problem getting things done. Most of our maintenance tickets have been completed by Dominique. He is very knowledgeable and precise is what he was doing. He always went above and beyond to get the repair done right.

    Definitely worth visiting!I lived here for approx. 4 years, and would still be living at the Horizons if I had not recently bought my first home. My experience for the most part was very pleasant. Great neighbors, good size/ set up of apt, and maintenance requests were addressed quickly, except towards the end of my lease.Great remodeled 24 hr. workout area too! My only issue was they gave me a great deal the first year, but would hike up the rent each year after that.I think with the new management, there will be a lot of positive changes being made.

    The move-in process was super easy and fast. Love my new apartment. Yes, the complex is a bit older but by no means is it run-down. The grounds are pretty immaculate and the people whom I’ve met within this community are diverse and friendly.A maintenance request I made was performed same day.If I had to say something negative is that whomever management hires to paint interiors should look into getting someone more capable. There were many paint stains on the carpet upon move-in and the work along the baseboards and molding are sub-par at best.Other than that, I really love this place and it feels like a great community.

    I have lived here for more than 2 years now and absolutely LOVE it! The office staff and management have always been very attentive and friendly. I can not speak highly enough of the maintenance staff. Anytime I submit a work order (which is not too often), it is resolved almost immediately. I am also very impressed by the sense of community that the Property Management and Apartment Management Staff create among all residents, working to create different events monthly. This was especially heart felt during the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic when we were under a mandatory stay home order. They came up with events for us residents to engage in from home in order to be safe but yet giving us a little something more positive to look forward to during gloomy times. For apartment living,, it has been a great home.

    I have lived here for 3 years and it has been a pleasure. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Anytime I have had any issues they have resolved quickly. The Assistant manager Melissa has been here from the day one of me moving in and she has always been so very kind and helpful.I would suggest to people to live here. They will find it to be a very nice and peaceful place to live.

    I really want to thank everyone in the office especially Jamie. I came by to tour and let me just say it was a very pleasant experience from the moment I came into the office I felt so welcome! Being a first time renter can be so hard when you don’t know what to ask or look out for and Jamie made this whole process so easy for me. She made sure all my questions and concerns were answered.     Weve been here for about two months now. We have some hiccups and crazy things happen like our water heater pipe cracked two weeks in to the move! (nothing on the apartments. Foundation shifted and things happen) but they were quick to come and fix it, take care of the carpet, etc. The community is very nice and I, having to wake up at 5am for my job, feel completely safe getting up and going to my car in the morning which is a huge thing for me. Plenty of lights, havent had issues with neighbors, overall were really enjoying it.

    I moved in June 2018 and my original review would have been 1 but it really is much better under the new management. I dont ever have to call the main office so I cant speak on their pick up time and the only maintenance request I ever had to put in was when the complex was still Horizons (that was an awful experience) . Since becoming Sorrento so many changes have been made. They upgraded the potty stations so we no longer run out of poop bags and they have also added valet trash which is great! The unit itself is super nice and all I could ask for! The community is safe and people are nice. My only complaints since the new management has taken over is that the gate is still always broken and they pool/hot tub is still closed a lot. If I didnt have such a long commute I would renew my lease.

    It’s a great community to live in! The leasing office staff provide assistance whenever we need and the maintenance is fast and efficient. Our sink was clogged over the thanksgiving night and the kitchen was flooded. We found it Friday morning and I talked to the young lady in the office and she put an order for maintenance. It took three persons to draw the water, replace the floor, and unclog the drain but all of these were done on Friday. I understand it’s very busy in the holiday season and we really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend the apt to my family and friends!

    I’ve lived here going on 2 months now, the front office is so quick to help with anything to make your stay better. Maintenance of quick and friendly, and the apartments are always clean and quiet. Nice peace having a view to the golf course and the walking trails are the perfect touch.

    My experience with Sorrento has been nothing but exceptional. How they handled the entire moving process was so helpful and professional. Ive been a resident for about 2 months now and anytime we have a maintenance issue, they take care of it immediately. I love everyone who works here in the office and even the maintemance guys are awesome. The complex is cleanly kept and quiet. This place has offered me an amazing home for me and all of my family. They have my 5 stars no doubt!

    I was very nervous about renting here after reading all the negative reviews but in the 5 months Ive lived here, I really dont have anything negative to say. My neighbors have a dog that likes to bark but I can barely hear him because the walls are well insulated. Of course theres road noise but thats to be expected when you rent an apartment next to a major highway. I love how responsive the office is to any problem. Any maintenance request is completed the day I mention it or the next. Definitely one of the better apartments Ive lived in for this price.

    I have lived here since 2016. I love our management team. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Every apartment complex has something that breaks or shut down for cleaning. The maintenance guys do their best to keep everyone happy and fix things as soon as they can by priority and in a timely manner. My A/C went out and I had a window unit supplied to me for use until the parts came in to fix it. I just renewed my lease for another year ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The convenience is shopping and restaurants. We have also made several friends hanging out at the pool.

    The new management is great it was a much needed change. Sorrento management took over a few months ago and they are making some much needed changes. Cracking down on the trash issues and the maintenance issues. Under Horizons at Fossil Creek i waited 6 months with mold growing in my laundry room then the new management came in as soon as i brought it to their attention it was resolved. The staff is compassionate and treats the residents like people not rent checks (unlike the previous mgmt). I was planning on moving out at the end of my lease but now i will be staying. I am looking forward to seeing what else this management does.If you decide to rent here based of this review tell the Toni Romo sent you 😊

    Ive been in the community for about a year and a half and I have enjoyed living here. One of the reasons I love this community is we have AWESOME community coordinators. Alford and Taylor Simon host wonderful events. They take time to check in and with everything that is going on in the world it means so much to know people still care. Im very grateful and its such a blessing to have such kind and loving neighbors who give of themselves and share their time to make sure we have a community we are proud to be a part of.

    My girlfriend and I have lived here for 3 months now. Weve loved every single day. Applied 3 months in advance, and during the whole process, we were taken care of frequently by Melissa, who is always quick and professional with answering questions and taking care of concerns. Ive seen alot of apartments, and Horizons beats any and all others for same price that Ive come across in every department. No complaints at all.

    First off let me say, Ive lived in 6 different apartment complexes and this one by far has been the best. In every complex, problems always arise but its HOW the staff handles the situation that matters. Nathan and Aaliyah have been extremely professional and timely with every request. The new management team is working hard to turn the complex around and handle everyones request. Maintenance has been quick for me, no problems there. Please dont let the fussy reviews of others keep you from coming in and taking a tour. Good riddens to them and welcome to all the new neighbors!

    I moved from out of state to Sorrento Apartments June 1, 2019. The office staff, Nathan, Tara and Melissa, made my move easy and are a pleasure to work with. I reviewed several apartments and chose Sorrento due to location and amenities. The maintenance representative, Dominic, deserves a five star rating for his knowledge of the property and ability to handle maintenance requests quickly, courteously and professionally. The upgrades to the Fitness Center and main pool area are excellent. The grounds are well kept and are continually upgraded. The management of Sorrento continually keeps everyone notified of fun activities planned each month. The new Smart Rent door locks and Thermostat Control system for each apartment is only one of many improvements. I look forward to a good life at Sorrento.

    Living here is fine, but God forbid you need to call the office for ANYTHING. Just go on ahead, grab your mask, and walk over there. They dont answer or call u back.Theyre nice once you establish contact tho.Updating after move out:Office staff is a revolving door. Cayley was there, then left, and I was so glad when she came back: she is just the sweetest. Only person I really ever wanted to speak to in there.When I came to tour, I was shown an upgraded unit. When I signed, they said that unit was taken and they put me in another unit that was not updated at all - old appliances, old counters; whatever, I needed a place.

    I dont know whats up with the reviews, but I love living here, will definitely come back, sweet neighbors, nice staff,And one of which who is really a sweet person is Melissa, I gave it four stars because, of an issue I had with the bank, they took the rent back after I was good and I thought I paid rent, and the office didnt tell me until it was too late, now I being charged with late fees and rent, I miss the Horizons(old owner)They really help you out I was paying rent for the months I stayed, and While I was trying to save up for the rent I didnt pay, this new owner(Sorrento) wants me out, and I have to pay the missing rent, they said anyone who has been to court for rent many times has to be thrown out, if this is a new rule and you are a new owner , I believe the rules would apply after you joined the company,I was so angry,The apartment is beautiful, the pools are the best!Everyone is so nice and they greet you!Its so unfair that we have to move because of unpaid rent, on top of that late fees😒I know I said Ill come back, but this new owner worries me!I am really really sad that I have to leave my lease is 1 year and I only stayed 6 months now I have only 4 days to move out or Ill get evicted??In NYC they give you 6 months to leave not a few days,And how will we find an apartment if we owe money??Money that was only $1350 which is $4,000 nowWhy didnt they just subtract it from the money I gave them for November and October??I really do not get it😒I will miss you Horizons!

    This property deserves a 5 star for sure.All the staff in the office are very nice along with maintenance.They complete their work orders in a timely manner.I am super pleased with everything on property.Knightvest Management really turned this property around for the better.I also LOVE the apartment.     I cant explain the difference in our community since Sorrento/Knightvest has taken over!Tara and Melissa stay on top of the office and are present and ready to listen at all times.Nathan and Sophie are new to the team but are always quick to follow up.I have lived on the property 3 years and it is very refreshing with the new team!Maintenance is always there and never leaves you waiting. Robert and Jose have amazing follow through on all work orders.So happy to continue here and the pricing is very comparable to other areas around.

    I just want to start off by saying the maintenance is great, fast and very professional. Anytime I have had an issue it gets fixed right away. I’m very happy with the service they have provided. I also want to comment on the new design of the pools, i give it a thumbs up with the new furniture. Great job!!

    I recently just moved to the horizons at fossil creek and I LOVE my apartment home. The staff is so polite and very helpful with anything that I need. Melissa helped me apply for my apartment over the phone. Arina the property manager was very helpful in the process as well. Not only is the office staff amazing but maintenance is as well. Jerry has been fantastic!

    Went to visit niece who lives in these apartments one night. Grounds were clean and well taken care of, complex was very quiet , no one hanging out in parking lot being loud etc, inside of apartment was very cute and modern. Only complaint was balcony seemed to closed in and small but was still nice

    Ive been in this apartment about 3 years. I havent had any trouble with the staff. Maintenance has been good, even coming out for two hours at 9pm to get my AC up and running.The internet used to be quite bad, but has gotten a lot better since the ISP was purchased about two years ago. Ive even gotten domestic tech support the few times Ive had to call.Its a pretty quiet place, I think theres good interior soundproofing. It can be hard for my wife and I to understand each other from different rooms.Neighbors have been generally good. Sometimes kids running around playing, but not ever a problem.The only complaints I have are pretty standard for apartments:1) The dishwasher is lousy.2) The rent goes up about $40/year.3) The AC isnt very efficient. It works fine, but you cant turn it off if the outdoor temperature is above 93 degrees or so, as it will never recover.However, the heat uses a Hot Water Penetration unit, meaning the spaces is heated using the domestic hot water. Pretty neat. My summer bills can be upwards of $120 for electricity and $30 for gas, but in the winter theyre both about $40, which seems pretty good.Overall, my wife and I have been very pleased. The quality is pretty good, the location is nice, and we were able to get an attached garage, which is a big plus.I recommend it.

    My husband and I came to see this place when we first moved to Texas last July or August... it was Horizon Fossil at that time...it was nice but at that time we werent in love enough to go with it. We continued our search. Fast forward 5 months later were still searching, Sorrento Apartments came up and the pictures of the inside literally had everything we were looking. (Im very picky lol) When we came to tour we were confused for a moment because from the outside...we said Weve been here before. I figured it must be new management and new renovations... we went inside and met with Sophie who I fell in love with instantly! She was so warm, helpful, and friendly. She confirmed that it was indeed new management and new renovations.When we toured the grounds this time... I was in LOVE everything was perfect! We met Nathan as well who was just as sweet and kind.We decided to put in the application that day and Sophie couldnt have been more a blessing to myself and my husband. She went above and beyond what any leasing agent had ever done!! Im sooo grateful for her!The most important thing about Sophie was her honesty and genuine excitement for my husband and I story and journey to Texas. Her heart to help us start in a new place that neither of us has ever visited before moving to Texas is also what truly sold us on this community.We moved in last weekend and Im even more in love with our apartment the floor plan is perfect and beautiful. Our furniture, color design, decor just flows perfectly here!The wood floors, kitchen island, crown molding, white cabinets, built in wall shelving... granite bathroom counters, walk in closets, stainless steel appliances...fitness center, pool!! I hardly ever want to leave even for work lol!We saw a lot of apartments but I am truly happy we settled on this community... its in the perfect area, with plenty of shopping and tons of things to do! We couldnt be happier.

    Lived here for just a year under the previous management (The Horizons) and had no complaints. Never had any maintenance issues or any need to contact the management other than to move out. Property was quiet and seemed to be well kept. Ol only complaint was there were some residents who would set their trash out regardless of when pickup day was. This was the only eyesore in my opinion.

    This is such an awesome property! Love the pools! Having two makes it easy to enjoy without being over crowded. Havent came across any staff that hasnt treated me well. All have been extremely professional and fast to help when needed. Overall experience here has been much more than I could have ever hoped for from any complex.

    I love this place!!! The floor plan I have is spacious enough so my daughter-who started walking three weeks ago-can freely run around! I have hardwood floors which was a must due to her allergies but its so aesthetically pretty. The staff (Lext, Mariana, Terra and PM Arina) are extremely nice and professional. The maintenance crew are just as pleasant and keeps this place looking nice. This is the first complex that i lived in thats sooo quiet. Awesome.

    I loved living at this place and must say they were the best apartment so far living in Fort Worth Texas. Will definately recommend all that safety was never an issue while living there. I used to forget my keys on the door and my neighbour would let me know and no one tried to break in at all. The maintenance was also very efficient and I had no problem whatsoever......

    I just moved into the Sorrento complex last month and I love it!! The community is beautiful and clean. The staff is so welcoming and extremely helpful.     Ive been living with Sorrento for the past 2 years, and i can honestly say ive never enjoyed a Apartment community more than i have here. At my previous apartments, most of the tenants kept to themselves but at Sorrento most of my neighbors have become dear friends! It is a very safe and welcoming community. You certainly wont regret staying here!

    As a formar resident, office staff very professional , maintenance was absolutly great always on time Robert very profesional and on time. Great experience on this complex .     I have lived here for the past three years and can honestly say this has been my favorite place I have stayed at. They also have great people working there too.     My experience at Sorrento has been a positive one! The management is cool and always helpful. The community events are pretty cool as well! My favorite thing about the apartments is the gold course view from the balcony! Love it!

    My experience with Horizons at Fossil Creek was great. I was in town finalizing some things for school and trying to check out a few properties that I found on-line. I arrived at the property at about 11am. As I walked in I was greeted by one of the staff members, Jarommy. I served in the military for 12 years, and I’ve leased many apartments all over the country in that time. Jarommy was hands down the best leasing agent/office staff member that I have worked with. There were a couple of people ahead of me, and Jarommy was the only one in the office. She did a phenomenal job of multi-tasking. One lady was moving into her apartment, another was seeking information, and then there was me. She efficiently took care of each person’s needs, while simultaneously assuring each waiting resident/prospective resident that she would be right with them. She did a fantastic job of working quickly, yet not rushing anyone. Her customer service was top notch. We reviewed units available for my timeframe and discussed pricing. The EXACT floor plan that I wanted was not available to see, but Jarommy did an excellent job of showing me a unit that was similar and mentally painting the picture for me of the unit I was interested in.The timeframe was perfect, the location was perfect, the price was perfect, and the amenities were perfect. I left to check a couple of other properties, but could not get over how amazing Jarommy was to work with. Her customer service and personality were truly the difference maker-I cut my search short and immediately returned to The Horizons. Jarommy was in the middle of lunch, and still unlocked the office to allow me in to complete my application.There are other apartments in the Fort Worth area that are as nice or priced right, or even in a great location- but NONE of them have anyone providing the level of customer service that Jarommy provided today.Thanks again, Jarommy! Keep up the amazing work!
