She took the time to answer any questions me and my girlfriend had. Ms Guadalupe was very polite, professional and helpful. These apartments seem really nice and peaceful! Me and my girlfriend are definitely strongly considering this place! -

We lived here for about 5 years, and loved it. We had to switch apartments in between as our needs changed, but the staff was absolutely understanding and helpful during those times. Maintenance team was always helpful and prompt - especially Anthony who used to go above and beyond to help resolve any issues. Honestly, we have missed that kind of attention to needs since we moved out of Slate Creek. -

Maintenance here is so nice! I have had a few issues with HVAC and plumbing, and each time I put in a request they are so quick to get out to me even during the off hours. Both of the men that have assisted me have been very kind and respectful, as well as very efficient with the repairs. When I had issues after hours, the people at the call center were also very helpful in getting the request created and getting someone in contact with me. -

It had been over 30 years since The last time I lived in an apartment and my experience at this apartment community was the best I did move out as we moved into a house but if I had to move into an apartment again, I would definitely pick Slate Creek. The office staff is amazing as well as the maintenance staff. If youre looking for an apartment. I recommend Slate Creek at Westover Hills. -

We had the pleasure of spending nearly 4 years living at Slate Creek. We had so many good times there, its difficult to see the time end. The management team at Slate Creek keeps the place well-maintained and are very responsive to any repair requests. They go out of their way to promote events for the residents. Happy times. The trails, pools, and surrounding golf course all made life there more than a little interesting for our grandkids. -

I waited a few months before writing a review because I wanted to ensure my perspective was based on the actual experience of living at Slate Creek.If youāre wondering whether or not to move here, DO IT.I was very nervous at first because this was going to be the first time Iād lived in an apartment in years, so I was expecting all the negatives that are associated with apartment living to be part of my daily life. To my surprise, I legitimately couldnāt be happier here.This is not an apartment complex, this is more like a neighborhood. My first few nights here I would walk around the property to get an actual feel for the vibe. The people who live here are considerate and genuinely chill. What really shocked me was how quiet it was at night, I was not expecting to find peace and quiet in an apartment complex but thatās exactly what happened here.From the START the front office was beyond helpful. I have a very busy schedule so communication with me is usually done through text and email. Guadalupe recognized that without ever being told and was able to get everything done through those means.And let me tell you about Guadalupe, she was so helpful and understanding though out the entire process. From application to move in, she was informative, patient, helpful and enthusiastic. I am still grateful for all of her assistance.One of the big selling points for me was the potentiality of vehicle vandalism/theft. This was the only place I hadnāt seen any reviews complaining about crime and can say I feel very safe here and comfortable leaving my vehicle unattended.As for the apartments, theyāre amazing. Very clean and spacious. When I say they are beautiful, Iām not exaggerating. The windows are large so natural light is always present and the high ceilings make you feel much less claustrophobic and almost make you forget youāre in an apartment.And the best part, not a bug in sight. Maintenance response is always fast and effective. The property itself is very well kept and maintained. The only negative I was going to mention was the dumpster situation because my first night here it was pretty messy, but by sun rise the next morningā¦maintenance had already taken care of it. That was actually very impressive.At this point the only bad thing I have to say is sometimes the parking can be a little frustrating, but that comes with the territory when sharing a community with hundreds of other people. However they offer carports and garages that make the parking more convenient.As a whole I would rate Slate Creek 10/10.If youāre thinking about moving here, do it. I can 100% guarantee you will not regret it. -

The location is perfect, right off 151. So highway access. The office staff is reliable and really attentive. Overall itās a pretty quiet complex. The only complaint is that the grounds used to be well maintained. But the amount of trash on the property seems to be getting worse. I know a lot of responsibility comes from residents that just throw empty food containers, cans, cups, plastic bags around. But the property should try and manage it a little better. -

If the rest of the staff is like her than Id bet it would be a great place to live. The property is very well maintained, offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom(townhomes) which gives a unique look compared to other nearby properties -

I had a great experience living here. With my hectic work schedule and a career change, Angie was always helpful and understanding when it came to the way my pay period landed. The only issue I had was with parking which is why I decided to get a garage the second time I signed my lease. The maintenance team responded in a timely manner. The property is well kept for the most part. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend Slate Creek. -

This was my first apartment on my own and it was the best possible experience I could have ever had. I always felt very safe and it was a very calm complex. Pool was always clean and most owners did a good job of picking up after their pets. Maintenance did a great job especially Eric! Angie in the front office was always available to answer my questions even after I moved out and had questions about billing and moving out fees. Never had any problem with bugs and the one time I did and reached out Angie even came with pest control to my apartment and made sure they sprayed everywhere. It might not seem like much but to a woman living alone that small detail made all the difference to me. I highly recommend this complex to anyone. -

Slate creek Apartments are an oasis in a veritable desert. The grounds are beautiful and neighbors friendly. The staff go above and beyond on a consistent basis. Ms. Monica Garza is an absolute Rockstar!! She is the one who gave my initial tour. She is very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, and patient. She identified and recognized my needs effortlessly. I would highly recommend Slate creek for those that are ready for a luxury apartment experience. Have a great day!! -

We moved here from out of state and could not have picked a better place to call home our first 2 years living in Texas. I really have no complaints about the apartment, maintenance, or management, it truly was a great living experience. Management displayed great empathy and care, especially during the pandemic, and maintenance was always quick to respond. And the units themselves arent very old so we rarely had issues with appliances or A/C. Our primary reason for moving was to be closer to work after a job change, though our budget couldnt quite allow for the new market increase either, but we would gladly move back if circumstances were different. I cannot recommend Slate Creek enough to all types of renters - families, singles, and couples. -

The parking lots tend to get full and the other tenants tend to leave their trash in front of their doors, but other than that its a lovely community! -

The tour i was given was one of the best tours Ive had. I liked the cleanliness of the complex and I loved that they had a dog park for my fur baby. I liked how they had many options to choose from on the style of apartment that you want. The pool and workout area were nice and clean. And most importantly, the ladys that work there are very friendly and made me feel welcomed and important. They were very courteous and respectful. I wanna thank Lisa for giving me a great tour. First impressions are everything and because of her she sold me on moving in. I definitely recommend asking for her. Thanks again. You made my decision that much easier. -

I really cant complain about this place. Ive been here for... going on 2 years. Its a great location between two shopping centers (Alamo Ranch and Westover Hills) and across from Sea World. Its quiet, my neighbors are respectful, and I feel very safe in this neighborhood. Sometimes the parking situation can get scarce depending on what building youre in buuut maintenance is really great here. They are super quick and responsive to work orders. Ive not had an issue having something fixed and Ive even had the front office call me to make sure my problem was taken care of. The security gates are operational and if they break (as gates tend to do), they usually get fixed within a reasonable amount of time. Rogers Road is quiet and low traffic so its easy to leave for work and return to the neighborhood after work. I dont really use the pools but theres 2 and they are decent. Slate Creek has my recommendation. -

We loved living in Slate Creek!Management was always very helpful, professional, and friendly. Maintenance is always quick, and the guys are very nice and helpful. The community is quiet (which I highly value), and we never had issues with neighbors.We actually lived in Slate Creek back in 2014, then my husband deployed in 2015. I moved away and then back when he came home. We tried another apartment complex for a while and quickly came back to Slate Creek when we realized you canāt compromise cost for quality! It was on the high end for our budget, but so worth it!The manager Toni is especially great, and she cares about her tenants. She did a great favor for us that we could never repay her for, and we appreciate them going above and beyond great customer service. -

Itās been almost 20 years since Iāve lived in an apartment, but we moved because we sold our former hold and are building a new one. My initial contact with Monica in the front office was pleasant and she was extremely friendly. She was very knowledgeable regarding this community, and she went above and beyond to answer my questions. She took her time showing me around, and she without a doubt made this a seamless and less stressful process. If you are thinking about moving here, ask for Monica!To finish, Iāve had to place a couple of work orders and they get taken care of immediatelyā¦like within the hour. I absolutely love not having to wait when things need to be fixed. 10/10 community! -

So far living in this place is amazing. Quiet, residents keep to themselves, when the pool is being used or residents barbecuing, they do clean up after themselves. Happy to see the pools were opened this summer as my previous apartment were putting delays on opening. Residents with dogs do a great job on picking up after them. Apartment was clean when we first moved in, notified office of anything that needed to be fixed and maintenance was on top of it ASAP. Lisa was so great on helping us move in and Jennifer as well informing us of available carports, storages, and garages. Girls in the office are wonderful. Only reason for 1 star off is just the parking. Itās hard to find parking and Iāve seen wrongful residents park in the handicap when thereās a veteran who is actually handicap and has to park far from the ramp. Also cars blocking the ramp for him to go up on. Other than that, the units are great and residents are great themselves! -

My husband and I lived at slate creek for 2 years. It is a nice quiet complex. Location is great. Rent was reasonable. Staff was always friendly. Maintenance was always friendly and fast. The only concerns we ever had was towards the end with neighbors being loud because walls were paper thin. Our ac stopped working. Maintenance tried their best to keep fixing it but nothing ever seemed to work. And parking is bad if you work nights. Overall it was a great complex and gives incentives to military personnel. Would definitely recommend. -

Itās never goodbye to Slate Creek At Westover Hills!Slate Creek At Westover Hills provided a great starter home for my family and I! I lived on property for a total of 18 months. During the time I lived there I NEVER had any issues with property management or other residents. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves and keeps quiet. The property was never messy or trashy. Every time I invited guest I was complemented on the property and inside my apartment. Our apartments 3rd floor balcony oversaw a hill with lots of trees! Pretty cool times outside relaxing ourselves and enjoying the firework shows from the Hyatt Resort. Parking was never really an issue for us and we didnāt have a carport. Slate Creek definitely provided a safe and comfortable home for my kids and I. If possible I would have loved to extend my stay, but due to my future goals my job is taking me out of the city. I wouldnāt have chose anywhere else to live as a starter home. Major shoutout to Angie and her staff for staying on top of their tasks. Thank you! -

Great community, friendly staff. When we moved into our new apartment. We had a good sense of being home. We enjoy the dog park where we can take it dog. The fitness center is great, as well as the BBQ grill in the patio next to the pool. We have enjoyed our stay with Slate Creek. -

Iāve lived here for 7 months and so far so great! The apartments are well appointed and the property is very nice. Parking is great! All the members of the on-site property team are friendly and professional. The only issue I have is with dog owners who donāt clean up after their dogs (even though there are poop bag stations all over the property). There has to be a better way to enforce the poop clean up rule. -

Living in an apartment is never perfect but this outstanding group of ladies are attentive, responsive and compassionate. Lived here 6 months, it is nice enough. People are generally courteous including management and dont have any lousy neighbor complaints. The apartments are well kept and maintenance responsive. The pool areas could use some work, some of the grills are old and the grates are rusted out but otherwise not a bad place to live. Definitely try to catch them on a move in special if you can though, we got $750 off 1st month with a 12 month lease -

I resided here from October 2018 - February 2022. Great place to live, especially the townhomes! The leasing office and maintenance personnel were always amazing to me in townhome unit 103. They would look out for me especially while I was in Florida running a flight academy for the Air Force over the summer for 2.5 months. My HVAC unit was about to die while I was in Florida. The winter storm of 2021 was probably the nail in the coffin for my HVAC. The $200 electric bills from the HVAC unit signaling its demise were promptly handled by Toni the Community Manager. My HVAC unit was replaced long before returning from Florida.I can say my neighbors were always quiet and polite. Never had such great neighbors in a townhome community. The one neighbor who did violate the rules was promptly removed. I highly respect the leasing office for removing a tenant who is moving in other people not on the respective lease. They dont mess around.I remember Angie from the leasing office telling me that the balcony for my townhome has a great view of the golf course. I was like what, there is a golf course? ššš I never used the master bedroom balcony or bothered to take in the view. šššš -

I have enjoyed this apartment community. Its small, quiet and clean. If you have a dog, theres a dog run and grassy areas around. I havent had any issues with management. Rarely needed maintenance requests and if so it was prompt. A monthly pest control fee is applied to rent. I was disappointed to still see ants on my porch and found them in my kitchen once. I recommend SlateCreek if you can afford it. -

I have lived at Slate Creek for 3 years now and the complex and staff are fantastic, especially the maintenance crew. The other residents are polite for the most part, a few of the long time residents tend to watch out for each otherās vehicles and stuff. The downside has been watching the grounds decay. People with dogs are leaving poop all over the place and letting their dogs run off their leashes outside of the park. I get they want owners to pick up the poop but if they arenāt going to then we need someone else to pick it up to keep the grounds maintained. The parking has gotten ridiculous here as well. There are people with motorcycles and vehicles who park right in front of buildings and leave their motorcycle there while they take their car or just leave the cycle taking a whole space. Many cars that just sit all day, some for days without even moving, and guest cars that stay for days/overnight. I have a building right up front and sometimes have to park in the complete opposite corner of the complex just to get a parking spot. There was even two nights where there wasnāt a single spot in the complex and I had to park up front by the office. That is stupidly ridiculous for a resident here who pays over 1300 in rent to be this inconvenienced. There arenāt any additional garages covered parking spaces so thatās out as well.If things get better I will update this review but sadly it may be time to move on from the once great Slate Creek.EDIT: Grounds still need work from pet owners but I cant fault the complex as there is only so much they can do. Still a great place to live and the parking has been a bit better around the complex. The office and maintenance are definitely 5 star worthy. -

Management does a pretty good job at notifying residents when theyre being inconsiderate. Neighbors are probably the biggest problem I.e. Leaving theyre junk cars in public spots and leaving trash at their door steps for nearly half a week. People like to speed around blind corners too. Fairly quiet no loud and obnoxious parties (at least on our side of the complex). The staff do a REALLY good job and keeping the place nice and neat. Also having community events at the office and pools as well. Overall worth the money youll be spending. -

Beautiful brick gated community with a playground, swimming pool and wooded walking trail. Would like to live there. Impeccably kept. The lobster trunk is parked just outside the gate with numerous choices, lobster, shrimp tacos, burritos, sandwiches, cups of lobster drenched in butter and lemon on the side. The clam chowder soup is delicious and my choice with lobster in a cup and lemon on the side. Slate Creek Townhouses are brick and built to last. Many useful amenitys are available. The walking trail lined with trees and shrubs are frequently used for walking your pet or walking off your breakfast, lunch or dinner. I would like to sell my house and live at Slate Creek Townhouses were the maintenance is supremely keep at a low low price. -

Community and apartment is safe and nice. The staff are friendly and give there attention to your concerns immediately. I enjoy the neighbors everyone speaks. -

Its beautiful here. Very unusual apartments, many descents from the mountain, located in a beautiful location. Of course I donāt know about the price, there is a swimming pool.
