The one thing I can say about this place is the staff is amazing. They are the kindest most caring people I have encountered in the leasing field probably ever.We loved the apartment when we lived here, only moved due to location and went more North.I cannot say enough nice things about Brent, Sandra, and Charmagne: They helped with move in making it a breeze and were there for us when we moved out. I think about our balcony all the time and the trees on property. This is the place where my husband showed me my engagement ring, the home where I got ready to marry my best friend, and where I shared countless beautiful times with my friends and family.Thank you to the staff for being good people, a rarity in the world these days.

My stay at Salado was great. It became my first home when I moved from North Carolina. I thank you guys for being awesome, and you Charmaine, for always being so kind. I remember you helped me with my lease in the beginning! Also, maintenance is so awesome!

I currently live here and I absolutely love it! I usually move apartments every 1-2 years and I will be signing on for my 4th year soon. The apartment staff is great, Brent and Charmagne have been here since before I was here and Sandra is new but they are the reason I havent left.This is truly an amazing complex and you can trust that its safe. Its SO quiet, they only tow if your visitors arent registered in the spots correctly, and the landscape is always maintained.You really cant go wrong here!

This the most beautiful and convenient place very good service maintenance here are so quick on the same day and the manager he is very easygoing personality and very helpful his name is Brent saldivar this person help me a lot I have my apartment set on fire while my wife cooking and I was at work he called the fire fighters came and save my family’s life and help me contacting the insurance because I don’t have an idea on how to do that and he was checking on me and my family and he everything painted and fix it and after that he provide my apartment with new appliances and remodeling my two showers this person is amazing I am so grateful to god because I feel I am living at Salado at Walnut Creek you feel you are at home and between your family I recommend this. Place for everyone that look for peaceful life.

This was the first place I lived since moving to Austin and my stay was great! I loved living here, quiet complex and Brent and the office staff are always so nice and helpful! Only reason I moved was to get a yard for my elderly dog, otherwise would still be living there. I never experienced any of the negative things people left in their reviews when I was living there and I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone!

I lived here for two years and loved it! The office staff are awesome (all of them) and were always on top of things. Most of my neighbors were cool. I only moved out because of the increase of rent. Everywhere in Austin became too expensive. Otherwise, it is a great place to live.

Just moved in but already can tell I will be staying here for a while. Staff is very friendly and the property is maintained very well! No painting over light switches or outlets like a lot of places. You can tell the team here takes pride in their work and it shows!

As title suggests, Ive lived for four years of my young life here at Solado, and I have no complaints. My moving isnt a reflection on my stay, rather, the quality makes me rather melancholic about packing up all of my things. The times simply come for me to move on,but onto the apartment. Any issues maintenance-wise were resolved quickly, and were few and far between. Place was safe, people were friendly, I never feared my apartment being burgled if I went on a trip. Management were polite, friendly, and helpful, especially Brent. I had a lot of fantastic interactions with him, and am confident if ever I were to return he would set me up. I dont know what apartment the low reviewers were living at, but it certainly wasnt this one. Good price, good place, good management. Theres really not much more to say, if I werent moving Id be renewing for another year.

We lived here 6 months while doing americorps and loved it. Very affordable, quiet, peaceful place. All the neighbors were really kind and friendly. We loved having a pool for hot days. The office was attentive to us also once they they got the complex a taco truck and we all got free tacos. I would keep living here if I was staying in Austin, recommend to everyone.

I lived at Salado for 4 years, and it has been a great experience.The property has a great management staff who are very attentive and responsive. The entire experience was great and it really felt like home for a long time. The only reason we left was in efforts to get a larger space for our growing family. If this property had units with even larger apartments, we wouldnt have moved at all. Salado also does a good job of creating a close, clean community.Thank you Salado for 4 great years.-Daniel

I have resided here at Salado for over 5 years now and I must say that this is one of the best places Ive ever lived. The staff is amazing and have always been johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to any repairs ever needed. Would definately recommend as a place to live.

I only lived here a year, but it was a great experience. Charmagne and Brent were fun and easy to work with. Maintenance requests were taken care of quickly, and the grounds were always clean. It was safe and affordable, and everything we needed it to be. Definitely recommend!

My mom and I had a really good experience with the staff at Salado. We had the pleasure of working with Charmagne from application process to move out notice. Communication was good and they made sure they cared for the well being of my mother as well, by asking how she was doing & if everything in her apartment was to her liking. If service was needed, they communicated that and followed through on it timely. Through my mothers health transitions, they were very helpful and accommodating. She never experienced any moments of feeling unsafe, which was a plus.

Im seeing a lot of negative reviews here, but Im certainly not having the same experiences. First off, the new manager is really great and appears to be working hard to improve this property. Ashley, admittedly, is somewhat bristly and doesnt do the best job hiding her feelings. She could use some work in that area for sure but overall my experiences with her have been just fine. My apartment has no roaches or rats, maintenance (while not same day) has been timely enough in their responses.What these apartments have going for them --- These places are very reasonably priced!! The apartments are spacious! They have hard-to-find 1/1s with W/D connections THAT ARENT SECTION 8 HOUSING!!Wake up people! Austin is VERY expensive to live in and we are at a constant 98% rental capacity. I think this place definitely deserves a positive rating to offset some of the stuff Im reading.And if you dont want your stuff stolen out of your car -- DONT LEAVE IT IN THERE.

I see that most of the reviews are from over a year ago. I have lived here since Jan of 2013. And I have seen the place do a complete 180. The new manager Brent has made all the difference in the world. I am no longer hesitant to bring friends and family over. The property is cleaner and we now have a Awesome new play scape for our children to play. Any maintenance I have ever needed was within a day or so, which is acceptable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. My apartment is clean and pest free. And I happen to have an outstanding view of Walnut creek outside my patio.I appreciate the Management and staff here at Solado at Walnut Creek, they have gone out of their way to not only make our home safe and clean, but have become friends and neighbors.

With almost three years living in this complex, I felt it was time to update my review. Brent and his team have made an incredible difference for this complex.Since I have moved in there have been significant upgrades for the community, such as new roofing, resurfaced parking lots, better security, better clarity on parking rules (including permits and marked visitor spots), and an online resident portal.Though the rent has increased each year as number of improvements grows, the cost still remains affordable and reasonable.

Having lived here since Spring 2018, I can say it has been the most enjoyable apartment living experience!Below, are the reasons I highly recommend living here:1) Its on Walnut Creek. About half of the apartments back up to the creek and have nice views.2)The management is on top of it. If you have any maintenance requests, insect issues, need visitors passes, etc. the staff is quick to resolve the problem.3) Cleanliness. The complex is very, very clean. There are several trash/recycle areas.4) Visitor parking spots. There are three areas within the complex where your guests can park. JUST MAKE SURE TO GET VISITORS PASSES!!!! (and show your guest(s) where to park)5) City Street Parking - when the office is closed and you cant get a visitor pass, your guests can park on the city street outside the complex.6) Playground/Pools/Fitness Center/Laundry Facilities/Dog areas7) My guests always comment on how nice and quiet the complex is.I live on the 3rd floor and would recommend a 3rd floor apartment if you dont like the sound of people above you. Side note: As a resident, I cannot park in visitor parking spots. If I do, my car will be towed. So, be careful where you park. Pay attention. Or itll cost you.Last note:Be nice.Kindness goes a long ways.

I have lived here for almost 4 years, and have loved it. Management is amazing, especially Charmagne and Brent. They are always happy to see you, and always ready to fix any problem. Maintenance is amazingly quick, no matter how small your problem is.

Salado was the first place I lived when I moved to Austin. I felt right at home. Quiet area and very affordable compared to other places in the city. The units are maintained and maintenance is attentive to all of your requests. The leasing office is good too. Especially Charmagne! Shes awesome and is always there when you need something.

Great place, in a great location with an awesome management. Had a couple of issues at first (mostly parking) but after speaking with the GM everything got squared away. Communication is key! Give management the opportunity to fix your issue. Would definitely live there again!!!

BRENT BRENT BRENT!!!! Is amazing. At first he gave me tour when I moved in 7 months ago. He was amazing caring and sold me. After a week, my car got keyed. I was upset and I talked to Brent, he was so concerned and advised me that he would up, night time security around my car at night. Then during my bad luck streak, I lost my job. Once again Brent was so concerned and told me if there was anything he could do let him know. He checked in on me every time I came into the office. Once I got a new job he was so excited for me. He sat down with me and wanted to know about it and everything. He it truly a blessing to that property. I definitely wouldnt be there if it wasnt for him.... All I can say is AMAZING....

I have lived at Salado for about 3 months and so far and it is very homey and affordable! I give Salado 4 stars, not because my move-in and current living space have been without vexation but because whenever something does arise they are very quick to fix/solve my problem. From the very beginning I have always dealt with Laura and every time I see her she is smiling and personable, even when my sign in day was on the same day as a personal loss she experienced. Salado is very lucky to have her. The maintenance staff is also always very prompt, and theyre a treat to see riding around on their little golf carts :). My hope is that throughout my year lease at Salado they will continue to solve my problems with such punctuality and continue to be so nice and personable. If they do I will continue to think of Salado as a solid 4 gold stars!

We didnt have the chance to tour the apartments, but we did drive through the property, and let me tell you about this lady that had an RV parked on the street mere feet from the exit...We drove a couple hundred feet down the wooded street and parked to enjoy the sunny afternoon, when we noticed a screaming mad woman yelling at another vehicle parked near her motor home. Get off my land! She repeated to the bewildered occupant of the car, waving a broom in the air. The screaming never ended until she ran into the door of her RV, only to emerge with a set of keys, jumped into a dilapidated vehicle and sped up and down the street screaming obscenities, as our mouths dropped.It was so bizarre, yet hilarious all at once, and although a little scared, we couldnt help but burst out laughing hysterically at this spectacle. We never did go look at the units, but every day we tease each other about whether we should go check on that wild woman at the apartments!4 stars for entertainment value alone!
