    One of the most professional leasing offices I’ve ever interacted with. The team is polite and responsive and seeks to address any question or concern completely. They work hard to build a sense of community for the residents and are open to ideas for future events. Isabella was my point of contact initially and she’s an excellent ambassador for the building. Have also interacted with David and Angel in the leasing office and they’re also great. The concierge team is top notch and can be relied upon fully.The building itself is top notch with continuous improvements and an active maintenance team. Nothing is delayed and you always feel that if there’s something you need fixed then it will be handled as a priority.

    Everyone who works at Novel makes it a great place to live. All the maintenance including things like carpet cleaning, painting are done with thought and planning. From the concierge desk to the security, everything runs seemingly effortlessly but I know there is much effort put into it. I also appreciate that the management team spent time organizing a St. Jude fundraiser and the Food Bank donation. The facilities are excellent and beautifully maintained. It is a great place to live.

    I recently moved into Novel, and the experience has been awesome! Isabella, made the leasing process smooth and straightforward, and was always available to help with any questions I had. Anne, the Assistant Manager, was great too, making sure everything was handled for my move-in.I’m really happy with my apartment it’s spacious, modern, and well-designed. The quality finishes and thoughtful layout make it a great place to call home. If you’re looking for a place that combines a great apartment with a quality team to help maintain it, I highly recommend checking out Novel!

    The apartments are lovely with good quality finishes. There are 24/7 security, valet and concierge services. The amenities are ample, with roof top pool, gymnasium, map room, sky lounge, bbq areas, game room and etc. The best part are the people working here. They are all exceptionally helpful and pleasant from the front desk, maintenance to the leasing agents especially Sonia and Christopher. Thank you for making this place a lovely home to come back to every time.

    I lived here for 2 years and although it is pricey it is the best place i’ve ever lived! Money well spent. Great security and clean amenities. Security was a huge thing for me and I felt so beyond safe here. Such a great place to call home. My moving out situation was a little tricky as it was all done from a different state, but the leasing and concierge were extremely flexible and helpful. Made the process way less stressful. If I come back to Houston, this will always be my home.

    Novel River Oaks has been nothing short of amazing. The prime location and accessibility to Houston’s most coveted area is unbeatable. The apartment itself has gorgeous features and finishes such as high ceilings, marble countertops, and premium lighting. The closet space is HUGE (impossible to find these days!!) The staff is so friendly and remarkable. Concierge is also very accommodating. Not to mention the all the amenity spaces that can be reserved are all gorgeous and perfect for entertaining and there is ample parking for guests. It’s also so wonderful with all the resident events they put together. Honestly 10/10, hands down best place I’ve ever lived in Houston so far!

    I recently moved into Novel River Oaks Apartments, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing, thanks to Nick, the leasing agent. Moving from out of state is already difficult, but Nick ensured my transition was flawless. He was incredibly helpful and responsive, addressing all my concerns and making me feel right at home.After a month of living here, I am so happy I chose this property. The community is wonderful, the amenities are top-notch, the dog park is always so clean and nice for my puppy Saint and the location is perfect.     I had a tour at this property a couple of weeks ago and the staff was really welcoming, professional and nice to me and my wife. Anne, Nick, Bella and Luz they were all super nice and very patient with me answering all my hundred questions. I loved their amenities and the apartments are just beautiful.     We moved into the Novel River Oaks about 2 weeks ago and it has been a wonderful experience. The building is gorgeous and very well maintained and the amenities are fantastic - especially how dog-friendly it is! However, the absolute best part of the Novel is the staff. Everyone we have dealt with has been extremely pleasant, professional, quick to respond, and a real pleasure to deal with. There is nothing we have asked of them that they were not willing to help us with. Whoever does the hiring & training must have a very high bar and it shows! I dont think there is anyone on staff that I have gone to with a question or request - the management, the leasing agents, the concierges and the maintenance people - that have not proven to be a real credit to the Novel River Oaks. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

    I’ve been looking around for apartments for quite a bit of time now and I was strolling around when I crossed paths with NOVEL. Everything looked stunning and representable from the outside and I quickly booked an appointment to look around for me and wife. I was given a tour with Isabella and she was delightful and informing. What I had in mind was not what I was expecting. She really knew our taste as to what we were looking for.Everything looked outstanding and really held us up to our expectations. Would have to book a second tour to look around more but I sure hope to be leasing soon!

    First impressions mean everything and unfortunately Novel dropped the ball. We booked a tour and arrived only to be bumped by someone else who was “double booked”. Even though we arrived first, we were told that to either wait to see of the tour finishes early or schedule for another day with the caveat that they close at 5pm.As were were leaving, the other party arrived. When I asked her if she also had an appointment for this time, she said yes. Come to find out she is a realtor who is paid to book residents inti their apartments.Needless to say, this didn’t leave a great impression on us. Good customer service isn’t hard, but it does include taking ownership for your lack of business organization and customer experience.*Update* After my original review, the manager responded and offered us another opportunity for them to get it right.We went back and Nicholas did not disappoint. He went over and beyond what I was expecting. Not only did he provide a history of the property, but he he didn’t rush and made us understand the uniqueness of the space. And lastly, the property is gorgeous! As a result, I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars.

    It’s been a pleasure to live here. Everybody on the staff is very professional and hospitality is off the charts.The security made us feel safe. Jose, the security guard, really stood out to us.     I absolutely love this property! The apartments are gorgeous and they have all the extra amenities you could need. They also have the best 24hr security on staff that helps you feel super safe. Jose is such a great security guard and takes the time to know the residents!

    The property speaks for itself how beautiful it looks but the main thing I worry about is the staff working there to take care of the residents needs and it is excellent!!! The leasing agents, the managers , the maintenance workers, the concierges and the security which is there 24/7 always checking cars before they enter the garage parking. Novel River Oaks keep up the great and awesome work!!

    Our family have lived here in the Novel for over 6 months and we are are really happy here. The amenities are great, especially the roof top pool deck. We often grill at the outdoor kitchen with other residents.Kristen and Natalie and the rest of the management team are always ready help with any problems we might have.The 24 hour concierge team are always a pleasure to work with. Led by Francis and Wilma they are super helpful and always greet you with a smile.Stop by and take a tour, ask for Jan - you won’t regret it.

    I have lived here for a little over a week and everything is great! My apartment is nicely appointed, well-insulated, and quiet. The finishes in my unit are top-notch. Christopher and the rest of the front office staff, including the concierge, are friendly and extremely attentive. My microwave didnt work when I first moved in. I put in a maintenance request and they showed up the following day to replace it with a new unit. The amenities, especially the pool deck, are magnificent and well-maintained. The building is in a prime location as it is within walking distance from Central Market, Walgreens, and several restaurants. I look forward to seeing who will occupy the retail spaces on the ground floor in the near future.

    We are extremely pleased with the tour we took with Christopher! He took almkstv3 hours out his day to show us apartments, was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and had answers to all our questions! Then Kristen the manager did everything needed to get our applications completed. Smoothest and most enjoyable process we have had yet. We have lived in highrise luxury buildings for the past 9 years, and this building is built the best we have seen so far. Construction is flawless, being IN River Oaks and not just adjacent, and having peace and quiet in the city is unheard of. You get what you pay for and this is one of the best apartments in Houston hands down! We cant wait to move in and update this review!

    Absolutely fantastic!I had amazing move-in experience. I moved in from another city, and I couldnt think of a better team to help us with the process. We moved in on a Sunday and they had every arranged for me- it was perfect! HUGE shoutout to Natalie- she kills it! She makes you feel at home from the first time you step in to tour and she has been so professional. Shes really takes pride in what she does. 100% would recommend working with her.I cant say enough good things about this place.

    My husband and I have lived at Novel River Oaks for several years, and we have been exceptionally pleased with literally every aspect of our living experience. NRO is more than a beautiful, pristine community in an ideal location. Our community manager Luz-Yvette has led her team in cultivating a destination in which each and every resident feels as though they have arrived in their perfect home. The management and leasing team, concierge staff, security team, and maintenance staff are friendly, genuine, and make every effort to know residents personally. They are highly skilled in making residents feel comfortable and welcome. We truly cannot emphasize enough how much we have loved our living experience within the NRO community!

    After having a not so pleasant experience at a community in the area, Novel River Oaks really turned that around. The lobby is beautiful and you’re greeted by a friendly concierge, Francis. Ashly, the leasing consultant, was very personable and understanding with all of preferences. While we’re not searching for a move-in until next May, we definitely have kept Novel on our list. I also recommend you book an appointment as they get very busy.

    If I could give Novel 10 stars, I absolutely would! An amazing place with even greater people. Natalie assisted me throughout my entire move-in process and her customer service was impeccable to put it slightly. She literally went above and beyond to ensure that she got me in the door, and her communication remained seamless and efficient. For personal reasons, I was unable to ultimately meet my move-in date at Novel. I was so worried about having to relay the news to Natalie. However, I dont know why I would be considering she was just as understanding and compassionate as shed been all along. She re-assured me in my personal circumstances, and guaranteed that shed be there with open arms once Im ready to re-visit my residency at Novel. I honestly couldnt have paid anyone to have a better experience. Being a woman of color and having toured and considered residency at MANY other luxury locations around Houston, that says a whole lot. Thank you Natalie and the entire Novel team, I cant wait until Im able to return!

    Living here has been a great experience! The staff here is an absolute joy and will go beyond for you. I was immobilized temporarily in a car accident and they all have been so good to me during my recovery and that is something that I will never forget.The build quality of the apartment is fantastic.     What a pleasure it was working with this leasing team for my move this month! The property is gorgeous! Ashly processed my application and prepared my unit for move-in within just a few days! She was a sweetheart and went above and beyond - even confirming all appliances, shower pressure, etc was to my personal standards. The property even assisted removing my empty moving boxes out of my way, complimentary. I had to contact the concierge several times while moving my larger items in, and he assisted so pleasantly with a smile on his face each time! I would HIGHLY recommend you contact Ashly ASAP if you are searching for a new home!

    Novel River Oaks is by far the best in the houston area and I could not be more thankful. The building is exceptional and the staff is even better. Natalie helped me out and she was absolutely terrific! Thanks to Natalie and the entire Greystar team for the best and exceptional experience!

    The team here made me feel so at home. Every single one I met made me feel so special. Sabrina was my first contact when I first looked at this community and she made my whole experience, from touring all the way to move in day, a breeze.     Update: I’ve lived here about two months and do not regret my decision on moving here. I was nervous coming from a highrise that I would miss living on the 24th floor but I do not. This building is ran far better than anywhere else I have previously lived. I would recommend to any friends who considered moving here.High quality building with great amenities. Concierge was pleasant and Jan gave a great tour. Excited to move there in February.
