I have lived here for 2 years and renewed my first lease because I am so comfortable. It’s quiet, peaceful and staff maintains property clean. The staff and that’s from office to maintenance are so courteous and always helpful. Work orders are done in a couple of days. My son has lived here before, moved and moved back. Also I have never had bug problems and they spray as per your request. Everybody is so friendly and nice. I recommended 100% Also the inside apartments are very well maintained.

My 72 year old mother has been living at Montecito for over a year now and her experience (as well as mine) has been great. Any issues or needs are promptly and efficiently resolved in a kind and courteous manner. The office manager, Carmen is professional, kind and empathetic. The maintenance man, Ernie is the best and knows how to fix everything and anything. We are very pleased with this community and we highly recommend Montecito for anyone seeking community apartment living.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. We were both graduate students at UTSA, and we found that if you treated the manager and her staff that worked here with respect, they would would treat you with the same respect. Vanessa and her staff are very accommodating and are always willing to answer any questions that you may have. The maintenance staff here should also be given 5 stars as well. Whenever a maintenance request was put in, the maintenance staff would respond within less than 24 hours (max). The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. The facility even offers special occasions where you can come into the main office and get food/candy! It honestly was a great experience living here. I highly recommend this.

I lived here for 2 years (2015-2017) & absolutely loved it. The parking was tough after 10 p.m, but that is really the only negative thing I can say. Once in a while they re-do the asphalt & start towing cars, which caused a lot of commotion in the community. I think that can be handled better or communication to residents can improve. My maintenance requests were always done before or on time & the maintenance staff were wonderful. Sometimes theyd take our trash if they saw us walking with it. The dog park is wonderful & the amount of grass around the community was great for our pooch walks. We didnt really mind any of our neighbors as the walls are pretty thick in our building, but once in a while you hear the occasional party & the police were quick to solve the issue. The front staff were pretty nice to us & always answered our questions as best as they could. I love the events they hold for the community & how friendly everyone is. The apartment itself was very spacious for the cost & the patio was huge. The only reason I am moving out is to cut my commute shorter. Otherwise, I love Montecito & will sincerely miss the environment. Check them out yourself, youll fall in love just like we did during our tour.

Truly amazing. Absolutely loved my time here at Montecito and i count myself extremely lucky to have stumbled upon them when i was looking for an apartment.Generally a pretty quite complex, but everyone is overall friendly. My unit was fairly nice (of course it gets renovated /after/ i moved out) and in the shade with a great view of the central courtyard. Maintenance is pretty laid back, but responsive, i even knew them by name after seeing them around. Office staff was always kind and efficient, even when i told them i was moving out.Parking is an issue (but the office staff cant really do much about that without major construction) but it should be said that paying for a parking spot would have saved me some frustration.If i were moving back to SA, Id definitely be checking out this place first

Ive been living in Montecito for many years. Management has been good from the beginning, but now with Vanessa, Carmen and Lizzy is even better, they are always doing their best and going the extra mile to provide an excellent service, including the maintenance staff!!. I recently moved from two bedroom apartment to a one bedroom and they were so helpful to make sure I was happy in my new place, which I love!!. If you are looking for a good location, beautiful and friendly environment, this is the place for you!.Thank you so much for making me feel like home💗🥰 It means the world to me!

Its been quite some time since I left Montecito back in February. To start off, the front office staff is amazing. They were extremely helpful and always super sweet. Rent is cheap and the place isnt a bad size. I never had any problems with theft or loud neighbors. I had an unexpected family emergency that caused an earlier move out date than anticipated. When Michael heard what was going on, he gave me a call personally and offered assistance if I was in need. When time came to move out Michael made sure everything went smoothly and quickly. There was also another lady in the office (dont remember her name but she was Michaels manager) who was also helpful and went above and beyond when it came to figuring out some details for my move out date. I have never in my life had such a good experience with an apartment complex. Highly recommend. The area of town is also convenient for everything you need.

We would like to thank the staff at Montecito Apartments who provided us with professional and friendly service that was beyond our expectations. We will surely miss living there. The facility itself had great curb appeal, whichincluded a beautiful pool. Its location is walking distance to a Starbucks. My apartment was nice, bright and well maintained. We consider ourselves fortunate for thatliving experience.

Great place to live! Michael is very trustworthy and fair manager and does a great job. The same goes for the other staff and maintenance crew. They all do a great job and are friendly and fair and on the level. I like the outdoor, woodsy vibe. The only thing I can think of that they could improve is the parking, which does get a bit crowded during the summer months. Sometimes it was hard to find parking close to my apartment. However, I did not mind walking from time to time, and it was worth it because I very much enjoyed living here.

My time at Montecito was wonderful! At the time, I was a college student-and living near campus was convenient, but at the same time I was still far enough from campus. There is a feeling of community at Montecito. Everyone from the residents to the staff are nice and welcoming. Speaking for the staff, they do an outstanding job trying to keep the property clean and take care of the residents. I have to give Michael, one of the managers, a personal shout out! Michael was always very professional and friendly at the same time. I have lived at many apartments and have not encountered a property manger so nice and dedicated. If I hadnt moved out of the city, I would still be living there.

They regularly do landscaping and keep it nice and clean. With the new parking system there’s finally spots available! Thank you Montecito management for organizing and the Montecito team for making it happen! 😊

We had to find housing unexpectedly at the end of 2021 and could not have asked for a better place to land! Not only is the location perfect, with shops and walking trails all within a few blocks, but everyone at Montectio is incredible!! The front office has been especially kind, caring and helpful from day one! Despite the stress of moving last minute, they never got frazzled by our anxiety and helped us figure out every little thing so that we could focus on settling in and feeling at home! Parking has improved now that our guest have to register and purchase parking passes. The neighborhood continues to be safe and well maintained. Thank you Montectio Staff we recommend you all the way.

I’ve lived here almost a year now, crazy. I worked with Carmen since Day 1 and I expected the service level to drop once I signed my lease, but honestly, it’s gotten even better. She’s been extremely helpful with any concerns I’ve had (they’ve all been minuscule, don’t worry).I highly recommend Montectio to anyone in the area. At least check them out and take a tour. Everything has been great here, from the remodeling the pool to maintenance. Ernie (in maintenance) is incredibly friendly and helpful. He is extremely responsive and helps with any maintenance feeds I’ve ever had.I’ve loved my time here and plan to stay here at least another year or 2, depending on my job situation!

Carmen, Lizzy, and Vanessa were extremely helpful in finding the right apartment. Theyre process for helping new tenants move in on the first day was also extremely organized and clear. We love living here. Its quiet, and everything we need is close by, including a campus bus stop at the entrance to the complex. They are very pet friendly which is a huge bonus; they even have a dog park on site that is very good sized with a doggie crawl and waste bags provided. Another bonus is the campus which pulls up right outside the community center. I have recommended Montecito to so many people planning to study at UTSA. Moving here was the best decision ever!

Honestly we love everything about living here! We wanted a safe and affordable home for ourselves and our dog and weve found it at Montecito! The maintenance team is amazing at their jobs and theyre all so friendly, the office staff is just as wonderful and helpful. The complex is always well kept and beautifully landscaped, its as if theyre always making improvements. The community events and neighbors make living here an even better experience! Overall Montecito is a great place for anyone to call home, Id give it more stars if there were any options!

The staff is wonderful and we felt at home the moment we came to visit. Maintenance is always quick and staff is more than helpful with anything we need. Good location and apartments are very roomy. Don’t get it confused with the other Montecito apartments in San Antonio. I always feel safe here and enjoy coming home no matter what time of the day it is. Pet and family friendly. Only downside is that there is limited parking if you come home later after 10pm.

I’ve enjoy living at Montectio, It will be a year in December. I decided to move here because I felt a calming effect when I came into the leasing office, Lizzy, Carmen, and Vanessa have been kind and accommodating. The maintenance, Ernie has been nice to talk to. I really like my apartment, and feel at peace living here. I enjoy the gym,and complimentary coffee afterward as a reward. I look forward to continue my residence at Montectio.

I really feel good here and peacefully.However, I dont like the stress of parking every day.It will be nice if management will fix that problem and stop renting parking spaces that are idled because not everyone has, can and want to pay for a parking spot. Thats is the big downside of it.It will be easier if they assigned one parking space per unit.If more than one parking space, than charge for that extra space.But, please fix this problem once and for all.Thats an easy fix.

I just recently renewed my lease here at Montecito, Ive lived here for over a year now and I am VERY happy. Having had a traumatizing experience at my last apartment complex I am very grateful to Jennifer and her wonderful staff for making it such a great place to live. My maintenance requests are always completed fast, there are really great resident functions, and the leasing staff is always super friendly when I go there to retrieve my packages. I would highly recommend Montecito if youre looking for an easy going, and enjoyable living experience.

I spent 4 years at this apt complex, and I can honestly say they have been so professional the whole time. Mike Martinez has been exceptional and has been very helpful. The grounds are kept up nicely, and they even have an area for dogs to play and socialize. The pool and areas near are always kept clean as well. I also took advantage of the gym they offer! If you are looking for a Apt in the area this is the place!

Ive enjoyed living here. Maintenance is super fast. My only complaint is the payment system: I paid utilities today ($60) and the convenience fee was $30. Please find a new system. This is unacceptable.

This place is more than I expected it to be. Since new ownership things have completely changed all for the good. The staff is amazing and the maintenance is incredible. I have had issues and called in my concerns to my suprise someone was at my apartment that same night and fixed my AC. The property is now well maintained and very well lit up at night. Another great thing is how pet friendly this apartment complex is. For myself the location is also a great plus.

Ignore all of these crazy negative reviews about Jennifer. She is a great manager! She does not put up with nonsense however, and those who are upset are likely trying to bend the rules in some way. The lease is clear as a bell and as long as you abide then there is no problem. Michael in the front office is amazing, personable, and is very good at remembering people, so it is nice to not have to introduce yourself every time you go into the office for something. They also host events where you can gather and meet your neighbors, which is nice and builds a good sense of community. Once a year they host a talent competition that is worth seeing, it is hilarious! The pool is so nice, with plenty of shade if you dont want to roast. There is plenty of tables and furniture so you dont have to worry about not getting a chair. The maintenance crew is friendly and fast: specifically Rick, he knows the complex like the back of his hand, and can fix any issues in a flash. The complex is quiet and the trees are established and provide tons of shade. They put a lot of effort into groundskeeping and landscaping. There are always doggie bags, and if there is ever anyone that decides to leave dog bombs then management is quick to investigate and solve it. The apartments and spacious and laid out well, it was very comfortable for our family of four. We always felt safe and taken care of. If we hadnt needed more bedrooms for our growing children, we would have lived here forever!

I hardly EVER write reviews on here but I had such a great experience with these apartments. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to tour these apartments as there are a lot of negative reviews but I called anyways and spoke with Chelsea who was very nice and professional over the phone. When I came for the tour Chelsea made me completely fall in love with this complex! She showed me around the complex and she was extremely knowledgeable given that I had probably about a million questions to ask her. One of the best experiences on my apartment hunt so far.

Been at Montecito for over two years, and have had nothing but an excellent experience living here. Jennifer, Michael, and all the staff have always been extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to quickly resolve any issues that have come up. Maintenance also does outstanding work, taking care of jobs in a prompt and efficient manner. Very peaceful place to live. And very convenient living within walking distance of many different places to eat.

I have lived here almost 6 years and i love it. Jenn and Michael are great.Rick and maintenance are quick to solve my issues, which there have been hardly none. Parking can be an issue but there is not an apartment complex that doesnt have the same problem. Other than an A/C issue, i have no complaints.The location is surrounded by all your necessities. It is great!

My fiancée and I have lived here for almost a year and we love it. The office is always courteous when we call or go into the office. They will sometimes hand deliver packages to you if they know they are going to be in your area. They were very willing to work with us on our pet deposit and wanting a garage. They worked with us when we were trying to help some family members out. The maintenance crew is nice and always addresses issue quickly. Most of our neighbors are very nice. Only issue we have had is the frat boys that moved next door recently. They sometimes like to play music too loudly and have parties. Complex is pet friendly and clean. They have a lot of community events and the pool is ALWAYS clean. Renting the clubhouse was easy. Yes, you can hear the band at 7am at the highschool or hear the games at the stadium IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE. Inside though, we hear nothing. Parking can be a little iffy if you are coming in between 10pm and 4am. All in all, I have loved living here.

Carmen and Joseph made the application process easy and painless. They were prompt to answer any questions I made of had and throughly went through everything I needed. The move has been wonderful. Love the location and the community is well maintained and gated. I’ve been loving being able to walk to so many places nearby. It’s also pet friendly which is a plus since not many places have a pet park.

The comment about Montecito being definitely for college students is not accurate Ive lived here for years and its primarily families that live here. Our previous experience with an apartment complex in another area of the state was stressful and disheartening given the lack of attention to maintenance, glaring health concerns, and dishonest communication that existed. Love it here big rooms, friendly service, quick response time to any issues you have, nice pool, ample parking. Just two things that make it not perfect one they tend to fine you without warning so read your lease fully and two its just down the street from a high school so the outer most buildings hear band practice start at 7 am all summer

Due to the job change, I need to sublease my 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment. However, we had a con-artist who played a con on us and scammed us a lot of money. It was so urgent. The management of the Montecito apartment helped us out and minimized our loss. We really appreciate their help!Its a perfect apartment for a family who has kids or student who goes UTSA. Ive lived in this apartment complex since 2015 and just changed to a new unit this February. I really like this apartment.It has great location: 10 mins to the shopping center, 5 mins to the theater, 5 mins to groceries store5 mins to UTSA, and one of the best middle school/ high school in San Antonio is in the back of the apartment.

Its going on three years since we been here. The staff from Manager to grounds person do a outstanding job. I called in a workorder and it was completed before i left for work, now that is service. Its in a great location with HEB, Walmart and several eating establishments to choose from are just around the corner. The fitness not large but will take care of your immediate needs. And is located by the pool. We couldnt ask for a better place.

Hausman is terrible in the mornings going towards i-102. Hausman is terrible in the afternoons coming from i-103. Sometimes there are no parking anywhere except for handicap (had to park in handicap at least 10 times in 6 months)4. Only some apartments come with washer and dryer installed (others you have to rent your own)5. *Minor complaint* Dont like card system to get in the gate, would like a remote control instead of RFID card
