My teenage daughter and I have been living at Midtown Commons for a year and a half now. We have had a super positive experience! My daughter loves living so close to her school and she loves taking a walk in the neighborhood. The staff have been incredibly helpful to me so many times! Particularly Ana! And maintenance has been quick to address any issues I have had, which have not been many. We love being so close to so many good restaurants and shopping. -

After three months in my Phase 1 apartment, I am still pleased by the convenience, amenities, staff, and general state of the property at Midtown Commons. The office staff is very responsive to questions and concerns, patient and courteous with in-person inquiries, and prompt in replying to emails. The maintenance staff is friendly and has been very responsive to my minor, self-created issues. Appliances are tip-top, there is dependably hot water, and solid insulation keeps utility bills easily manageable. I also appreciate the steady flow of community events and promotions. -

Iāve been living here for about 4 months now. This place is great, private garage, pools are great, gym is nice, plenty of restaurants downstairs and market too. The staff is great and always willing to help and fix any problems i may have but i havenāt had any since moving in. My office for work is downtown and Iāve been taking the rail everyday to work since the Crestview stop is downstairs and its one of the best ways to get around saves me so much on gas and time driving. I love my loft it so cozy and very New York vibes with the brick wall and view of the city sky scrapers from my windows. If you prefer driving you can get anywhere in Austin in around 10 min. All my neighbors are nice and i love just walking around the complex. They pick up trash at your door and amazon drop off ant your door or you can get it in the drop boxes onsite. I was pretty skeptical about moving in at first from the reviews but itās been one of the best places Iāve moved to. -

I liked when I lived there bc I was the first in my unit, but it became way too expensive and overpriced (in my opinion). Convenient at the time as a UT student, so free access to rail. My back patio was the view of the train station.Everything was new and worked well. Its been 10 yrs, so I imagine its grown and still well kept. -

Mayani was my leasing agent and I have never had a better experience. She was not only so friendly, but also beyond thorough, answered all my questions/concerns, and made the whole experience incredible. The community is gorgeous, walkable, and the location is just amazing. I wish I could take Mayani with me to all my tours - thank you for the best day! -

Honestly this place was a blessing in disguise, I was looking for a central place thatās safe, clean and close-knit with solid amenities. This is a beautiful place that has an elevator, spacious homes, walk-in-closets, lots of storage space, friendly staff, and nice scenery as well. I could go on and on but most importantly Iām so grateful I chose this as my place to stay! -

Let me tell you that the leasing team matters just as much as the actual apartment you live in. When you need something, you have to go to them and the team here at Midtown Commons has been so great to me. They never make me feel like a burden, are so kind and professional. Also, I want to personally shout out Mayani for helping me find my home here! She honestly was part of the reason I leased. As for the apartment itself⦠I love it! The space is well used, the location is amazing, and itās my favorite apartment Iāve ever had. Itās so convenient how the parking garage is connected to the building so I donāt need to take the elevator to my floor, instead I can just park on my floor. The garage is also gated and has a sensor for residents for added security. And donāt even get me started on the view of downtown⦠chefās kiss!!! -

In general, I enjoy looking for apartments about as much as I enjoy having teeth pulled. However, the team at Midtown Commons were so easy to work with and supportive in their efforts the the experience was enjoyable. Im thrilled that I found this place, and feel grateful to the team for making the process so easy. -

Beautiful property with friendly staff! Selena was very attentive and accommodating in assisting with my apartment hunt. I appreciated her transparency and professionalism in addressing a number of questions and concerns I had. Looking forward to move in! -
Review 10 (2024-04-05 - Rating: 4)
Considering the location⦠they have very reasonable and fair prices on their apartments. Itās extremely difficult, now-a-days, to find good deals in the (north) central Austin area. Itās a 10 minute drive from everywhere in Austin! All in all, a great location with reasonable prices and my Leasing agent Mayani was very accommodating, well-informed and incredibly nice! -
Review 11 (2023-07-31 - Rating: 4)
Love the apartment, but in two and a half years my lease has increased from 1250-1650, and if I renewed again it would be almost at $1,800 a month, which is insane for a 1 bdrm apartment. If they didnāt increase the rent so much, I would have loved to have stayed. The apartments are nice, maintenance is the best out of any place Iāve ever lived in the last 10 years (5 work orders in the last 2.5 years, all of them fixed within 24 hours with no problems), area is beautiful and thereās a lot of things to do and good Asian food around here, but Iām just getting priced out, and they didnāt seem to be able to do anything about that. -
Review 12 (2023-04-07 - Rating: 5)
Obsessed with this place I call home! Ive lived here for almost a year now & have nothing but great things to say about the property and on-site staff. The leasing team is amazing, especially Jared. He is always so nice & helpful, and he consistently has an infectious positivity about him. Its truly refreshing to have a management office that genuinely cares about their residents. The maintenance team is top-notch, too! Dare I say, the best Ive ever had. Move here!!! You wont regret it. :) -

Iāve been living here since the summer, and I love it so much. The office staff is super cool and friendly. My apartments cute. The amenities are great. Parking garage and amount of parking is really good, especially for Austin. The socials are really fun! -
Review 14 (2023-01-14 - Rating: 5)
Midtown has been amazing from the first day. The amenities are great! Even both dog friendly and non-dog friendly areas (whichever vibe youāre looking for). The community feels safe and welcoming. There are so many events! One or two a month, which allow people to get to know each other. Walking distance from so many fantastic staples on this side of town. The office staff are helpful and kind. The maintenance staff is responsive, kind, and friendly. The Valet Butler crew is great (some of the residents could use a reminder on where the dumpsters are but you canāt win them all). We have enjoyed living here and donāt plan on leaving any time soon. -
Review 15 (2023-02-03 - Rating: 5)
I just moved to Austin from New York. I called so many complexes, and Midtown commons was the first one to actually pick up the phone on my first call. This community is AWESOME and affordable!!! Look no further. The leasing office is such a great team, and they are extremely responsive. Since I was in NY, Jared (my leasing agent) even got on FaceTime to give me a tour of the apartment as soon as I called! My apartment was part of their newest renovations. When I moved in, the apartment was clean, and exactly as shown and described. Giant island, lots of space and cabinets, great finishes, and an AWESOME layout for a studio!!!The pools are beautiful and always kept spotless. Theres valet trash service, where they come to your door to pick up your trash. The grounds are super clean, and the gym / clubhouse amenities are spotless. There are secure garages, and the entire complex is controlled access. They host great community events too. If you need anything, maintenance is extremely quick, responsive, and personable. Great quiet community tucked away, with access to the light rail. Literally a hidden gem! I was so happy to find this community, especially for relocating to Austin for the first time. -
Review 16 (2024-08-30 - Rating: 4)
The property is in a nice location. Close to the tracks and good restaurants. The property has its ups and downs. Currently, many of the past issues were finally fixed by the new mgmt team on the property. It was a relief to see new grills in the courtyard after 4 years of issues. The new team also is making excellent strides towards making Modtown feel like a home again.Long needed upgrades to our courtyards are in progress. Electronic doors are being fixed and other safety issues are being addressed. Anna one of the long term managers of the property truly a professional. Shes patiently listens, does her best to communicate and fix issues, and shows empathy when dealing with flustered residents. She knows the issues are real and never discounts even the smallest ones.Like I said the property has its up and downs. Greystar has been a reliable mgmt company to work with. I think the owners, MIG, need to work harder to support Greystar when projects need to be completed.Rent is a little high for what you get comparatively to other new properties in the area. But I think they are working on appropriate reduction in rent as well.Definitely take a look at the property. Check the entire property out. Not just the leasing agents tour route. -
Review 17 (2021-01-25 - Rating: 4)
Ive lived here since July 2020 and I honestly love it. I previously lived in a garden-style apartment in South Austin built in the early 90s, so to move into this much newer building with modern amenities and an elevator was a huge upgrade for me!The office staff were super friendly during my move-in, and one staff member even helped me move a few boxes into my new place! Every time Ive called the leasing office with a question or maintenance request, theyve answered me in a very timely manner and are always friendly.Midtown Commons is also very dog-friendly, which was a huge draw for me. I love taking my dog to the dog park behind the complex and seeing all the other pet owners walking around with their pups. Management has recently become better about enforcing dog waste pickup rules and always has free dog waste bags available around the complex and in the front office, which helps. The only reason Im giving this place four stars rather than five is because I feel like security could be a little better here. The doors into the apartment hallways arent always locked, and I have had packages stolen from my doorway twice (I do pay for the Parcel Pending service to try to prevent this). I have also (very rarely) seen displaced/homeless people sleeping in the parking garage or on the benches around the complex. The other big complaints I see on reviews for Midtown Commons are noise, the parking garage, and construction. Ive personally never had issues with the parking garage and am always able to find a spot. The walls are thin (as they are in most apartments Ive lived in over the past 5 years!), but noise from my neighbors has never disrupted my sleep or work day. As for construction, the construction is only happening on the Phase II building, and I live in Phase I.Those notes aside though, Im very happy I moved here and hope to live at Midtown Commons for a while! The amenities are nice, the nearby retail shops/restaurants are great, and the location is very convenient. -

I was blown away by the exceptional service I received from Ana Cunningham when I toured. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and overall extremely kind when showing the property.I recently moved in and she made every part of moving so seamless and easy. I love how they are improving the property by painting the hallways and improving the flooring in the hallways. It is nice to live somewhere that cares about the appearance of the property. I look forward to see what they do next! -
Review 19 (2022-11-02 - Rating: 4)
Midtown Commons is a fun place to live with friendly staff that care about the residents. They always make sure to provide a nice treat for residents every month whether it is an event or stopping by the office for snacks and food. The location is great and extremely pet friendly. Although due to the many dogs on property, residents do not pick up after their dog which can really be a problem. In addition to, the area does have a plethora of package thefts. It is best to get things delivered elsewhere. Otherwise, you wont really have a problem and youll love this place! -
Review 20 (2022-07-25 - Rating: 5)
I previously left a one star review because of an issue with the renewal of my lease that originally was brushed off. Midtown, and Greystar, have since corrected the issue so I want to give my true feedback. My fiancƩ and I have lived here for about a year now and have almost only good things to say. The location is fantastic with quick access to all the major highways and Lamar gets you downtown pretty quick as well. I dont use the rail or bus system very often but it is convenient that they are right there if needed. There is also a little market, a couple bars, and multiple restaurants all within a 3-4 minute walk. The neighbors all around us are nice, respectful, and quiet. Our unit faces the pool and sometimes it can get loud on the weekends but normally turn down the music by sunset and respect the quiet hours. The apartment itself is pretty standard for apartment priced in this range. Phase 1 is an older build so the walls seem to be thicker than newer places weve lived that cut construction costs as we have never heard anything from neighbors on either side of us.The staff has been gone above and beyond, in my experience. The day we moved in we found the apartment in a condition that wasnt great. The painters and repair people had come in after the last tenant but it didnt look like the cleaning crew came in after them. There was paint on the floors, dust all over everything, and just not what you expect to walk into. I spoke to the leasing manager who apologized profusely and said that either I could pay to have a cleaning service come in that day and they would reimburse me or they would have their crew come in the next day (as it was a Sunday). The next day when we came back their service had everything looking brand new.In our experience maintenance has been quick with the any of the small repairs we need from time to time and have always been courteous. The only complaints I have are things that all complexes I have lived in experience so, to me, feel fairly minor. The hallways arent typically the cleanest (there is a valet trash service and while youre supposed to leave it in the can not everybody does and liquid sometimes runs out and dries), and the garage gate has been broken for a little while (its hard to keep it fixed when people keep driving into it in fairness). Nothing that is a deal breaker to me.All-in-all Im happy we live here and I would highly recommend it. In the rare cases that there has been an issue the staff have always been great in getting things resolved to our satisfaction which is more than you can say at a lot of places. -

Midtown Commons is an excellent community! My roommate and I have lived here for almost five years, and we plan to renew this coming year. The outside/inside of the community has always been very clean, and continues to be upgraded. The front office staff hosts many amazing resident events, and all the neighbors are super friendly. The maintenance staff is always on top of orders, and the pet grounds are always stocked/clean. However, the cherry on top would be the pool, and its vibe during the summer where we all have an amazing time! -
Review 22 (2023-12-22 - Rating: 5)
From the office staff all the way down to the maintenance staff, this property has exceeded my expectations. The location is the icing on the cake as far as likability and getting your moneys worth. As far as multifamily housing goes, it does not get better than this. I love this place. -
Review 23 (2024-06-17 - Rating: 5)
I went in to look at these apartments and the staff was great and friendly. The units were laid out well and the complex was clean, I will be leasing there when my current lease is up in 2 months. -

The leasing office has been super friendly and accommodating throughout my stressful move process. They even took time to tell me about cool hidden spots nearby to check out and recommended their favorite restaurants. I had a couple of maintenance issues after moving in, and maintenance was super fast and responsive. They even addressed an issue with my hot water that I hadnt submitted a ticket for yet. -

Tomorrow (January 13, 2024) marks 7 years that Iāve been a Midtown Commons resident. This is the longest Iāve lived anywhere other than my childhood home, and thatās a big reason why Iāve stayed. Since day 1, the staff here has been the most welcoming to me. Theyāve most provided excellent customer service and have done a good job in addressing any concerns that have come up since Iāve been here. I want especially highlight Jared. Today he went above and beyond to help me. After my sofa was delivered incorrectly by the carrier, he not only offered the dolly to get it upstairs, he brought it up here to the second floor by himself! All while the elevator was down. If that isnāt exempt service and caring for your residents, I donāt know what is. Iām forever grateful for Jared and canāt thank him and the office staff enough for always being so helpful. The location is perfect for all of my needs. Easy access to public transportation and other local restaurants in the neighborhood. The resident events have all been amazing. Even if an event is not one that I attend or relate to, I love the variety in them! I love how they support the community and partner with them for these things too.I am so glad Ive decided to continue my stay here. I couldnt imagine being anywhere else! -
Review 27 (2020-09-17 - Rating: 5)
The management team is seriously amazing! What prompted this review was a very pleasant experience that occurred even after I had moved out. Basically, I forgot to change my shipping address for a subscription box so it was delivered here to my old unit and I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to get it back. I emailed the mgmt team to see if they could have the current resident bring my package to the office so I could pick it up. They responded so quickly to confirm that they would let me know when it was brought to the office. When the package was delivered, the resident brought it down, I got an email notification/call, and then I was able to pick it up right away!Overall, I recommend this community. I am no longer living here, but when I was, I really enjoyed everything about it. There are lots of visitor parking spots, great amenities (2 gyms, 2 pools, dog park), variety of retail stores, the apartments are nice and homey, and the maintenance staff have always been on top of things. Lastly, its located adjacent to a friendly neighborhood with cute houses so I would go on walks/runs or ride my bike around there often. Its worth checking out! -
Review 28 (2023-04-20 - Rating: 5)
Great service! My A/C randomly went out and they got it fixed up quickly.I put in a maintenance request and the day after they came, gave me a temporary portable window A/C unit that ran very well (and cold!), replaced my thermostat, checked that the AC wiring had the correct voltage, etc. They ended up bringing out some different guys who were also professional, communicative, and within a few days of troubleshooting, my A/C was back up and running. Appreciate the communication, and the obvious effort in getting the unit sorted out. -

This was one of the first places suggested to us by Smart City Apartment Locators, and immediately after visiting my husband and were sure this was the place we wanted to live. The location is fantastic, there are so many great places within easy walking distance. Management is friendly and helpful. I donāt have a dog, but there are a lot around and it seems to be a super great place for them if thatās a concern. Maintenance is responsive too! Luckily we havenāt had to use them much, everything is in good condition and the grounds are kept up well. We got a good price too. All in all it was a great decision and I couldnāt be happier! -
Review 32 (2022-01-21 - Rating: 5)
My friend was looking for a new apartment and we had toured 40+ apartments. Finding apartments available September end was incredibly difficult. We found a great 1 bedroom floorplan at Midtown and Ana worked with us to get the move in date we needed. Ana let me tour multiple times and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She was super fun and very responsive to all our needs. The maintenance team and office have all been very quick to accommodate any of our requests. -
Review 33 (2018-10-05 - Rating: 4)
The apartment itself is pretty nice. I love the layout of the space. The convenience of the metro rail and bus stops are also a nice perk. The amenities are great (pool, gym, common areas, etc). The three major downsides are the construction, submetered water, and paying to receive packages. That being said, its obvious that management is trying their hardest to revamp the place. I personally have never experienced any of the parking issues everyone is talking about. I always find a spot super easily on the same floor as my apt, and my guests never have issues parking either. Also, even though the construction is inconvenient, the place is starting to look a lot better. If it werent for the construction Id give 5 stars. -

Like most people, finding the right place to live can be stressful. The staff at Midtown Commons not only made it easy but, also made me feel welcomed.Unlike most leasing agents who are more than often rude. The apartments are nice and modern and affordable.I havent had any issues so far, and the grounds are well kept. The staff, the amenities and the convenience of living in a neighborhood with great bars, restaurants and, grocery stores that are literally a short walk or bike ride away, really made Midtown Commons a no brainer for me.I see myself being at midtown for awhile. -
Review 35 (2017-03-20 - Rating: 5)
I have lived at Midtown Commons for over a year and I am happy to call them home! The staff is friendly and helpful and the maintenance team always responds to our request for services. The location is amazing with access to public transportation and a short drive to highways and the fun shops and restaurants along Lamar and Burnet. The apartments look modern and stylish and are accommodated with nice appliances. The floor plan I have comes with plenty of storage space, so make sure you check for that if you have lots of stuff. I feel relaxed and content whenever I get home because of all the hard work done by the folks at Midtown Commons. No place in Austin is perfect- there are some cosmetic features around the property that need a bit of touching up but my day-to-day life isnt affected by those issues. PS: Buy yourself some nice shower heads. Its good advice where ever you live. -

I have been a resident at Midtown Commons for almost a year. Kylie helped us find our apartment, and we absolutely love it. She was extremely helpful throughout the leasing process. Review 38 (2014-01-04 - Rating: 4)
Probably the best apartment Ive ever lived in, out of 5 total apartments. There is a little ceiling noise from our neighbors, but thats expected. I can handle it. Great amenities and nice grounds/landscaping. Management knows us on a first-name basis and not for the wrong reasons. Theyre very nice and helpful, which is something Ive hardly ever said about my previous apartments managers. Location is top notch. -

As a resident of this community I would highly recommend the property to anyone. Starting from the staff management, Emily is fantastic to work with. She goes above and beyond all measures and has truly been amazing in my move in process. Nikita is fun, bubbly and always makes me feel right at home with her amazing events! I donāt just feel like this is another apartment complex, itās a community, itās a home and you can tell other residents feel the same way all because of how hard the staff works here. The complex is kept clean, itās family friendly and a great upcoming location for all ages. If youāre looking for a central location, fun and clean environment with staff who truly care and make your residency fun! Midtown commons is the place for you :) -

Amazing everything! Beautiful property, super fun events, my dog loves it her! Great staff, always on top of everything. The girl from the office with the short hair, kylie, I think, is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. Her laugh is contagious and sets a good vibe for the property . Love living here! -

I was very impressed with the way the management and maintenance teams handled a major repair that occurred unexpectedly in my unit. They took full responsibility and organized a convenient time for me to schedule the service. I was credited towards my rent for the days I was unable to use my apartment, and when I returned, the unit was in better condition than when I moved in. Happy tenant! -

Really impressed by this place and Dallas in particular. Not only did she us help find what we needed, she made sure it met our needs. The units she showed us were tremendous. Weāre really looking forward to our move in.Many other apartment complexes tend to just show you an apartment or two, then leave you to the wolves. Not here. Not with Dallas. Dallas came through in every way, shape, and form. Glad we chose to move in here! -

Review 45 (2016-08-14 - Rating: 4)
I have lived at Midtown Commons for a month, but so far my experience has been very positive. When I was searching for apartments I toured with Amber and she was extremely helpful. The process to tour, apply, and find an apartment was so smooth. Even now, whenever I go to the office Amber always remembers my name and makes me feel welcome.I love my apartment! It has a washer/dryer in the unit and brand new appliances. I wanted an open floor plan at a reasonable price and Midtown Commons made that happen. The dog park was just re-sodded and there are always people out walking their dogs. I love that I can walk around the neighborhood at night with my dog and feel totally safe. There are always people around. The apartment itself is pretty quiet. I have heard my upstairs neighbor working out a few times but its during reasonable hours and is pretty normal for apartment living. The maintenance staff has been very receptive to fixing a few minor issues with my apartment (I put in work orders online and everything was fixed within a week...the dryer needed to have a vent fixed, the closet door hinge needed a screw, and a light outside my apartment needed a new cover.) I do not have a crate for my dog and maintenance folks were totally fine with him being out while they made the few touchups. When I first moved in, the garage door was broken, but it has seen been fixed as well. I also was concerned about packages since other reviews had mentioned items being stolen. All of my packages have either been locked in the mailroom boxes or in the office. I havent had any issues so far. I love the convenience of the gym and Ive been down to the pool a handful of times. All in all, Im very pleased with my new apartment and I love the community. The apartment complex isnt perfect of course (none ever are). The pool can get pretty crowded and loud. It seems to be more of a weekend issue, but from inside my apartment I cant hear anything. There is also a dog on our floor that barks pretty often but once I shut my door I cant hear it anymore. Midtown Commons definitely has some areas that need touched up around the complex. A lot of the paint in the hallways is cracking and it just looks a bit faded. There also seems to be some issues with people propping doors open and other residents closing them. Everyone has a fob to access all the doors, so if it ever gets closed on you, its easy to get back in, but it could be an annoyance. The trash chutes in the parking garage get pretty gross on the weekends. It seems like every Monday they are cleaned up (so far) since we have a valet trash service. Visitor parking is also very limited, so my friends have had to park in the neighborhood nearby once or twice.I would definitely recommend Midtown commons! -

Lily did an amazing job helping me find my next apartment. I chose Midtown because I was invited to a community event and could tell she puts a lot of effort into making the residents happy and truly cares.Iām always greeted by the friendly office staff, especially Karl, where they have coffee and snacks available to prospective and current residents. -

We have lived at Midtown Commons for about a year and a half and have absolutely loved out time here! Not only did we enjoy our apartment, but more importantly, we enjoyed the community that is such an integral part to Midtown Commons appeal. If you like friendly neighbors who go above and beyond, restaurants and bars in walking distance, and the train just a few get away, then this is the place for you!Thank you to all of the wonderful people who made our experience at Midtown so enjoyable. -
Review 48 (2015-07-17 - Rating: 4)
Great place to live! The location is awesome and has great amenities. The staff is attentive and friendly. The only downfall is not all door locks work to get into apartment hallways. For security reasons with the new mail policy (packages left at doors) I think this is an issue. However, I have not had a problem due to this yet. Peace of mind would be nice though. Other than that would definitely recommend this complex to anyone! -

My move in went very smoothly thanks to Anas help. She has a good sense of catching what other people wants and showed me exactly what I was looking for. This complex comes with convenient location, close to downtown and domain, quiet and friendly neighberhood and so far Im pretty much happy with living in this apartment. When Ana was gone for vacation, Ray also helped me for the questions that I had. The staff in the mgmt office, they coordinate special events like wine day, popcorn day etc every month and I see they really care for the people in this complex. -

Moved in here from San anatonio and loving the area, amenities and Austin itself. I love how everything is so close here including caffe, bars and restaurants. I love walking my dog here all the time and he has definitely made some friends in neighborhood. Everything gets taken care y lease office in no time so thatās another plus. There is nothing negative or regretting about living at Midtown. -

I just recently moved in and the first thing I enjoyed is the employees. Yes, they are professional and has all the normal answers like any employee should but they werent robotic. They adjusted to my personality and let me see that they are not going through the motions they are real people who arent just saying the prices and showing the apartment like the teacher on Ferris Buellers Day Off. So they sold me on customer service immediately, then the location is perfect for both me and my roommate, close to all major highways, and has a mini shopping center in the front. The floor plan is probably the most fair and even for roommates, master bedroom has a slightly smaller room but has their own private bath, then the guest has the larger room but shares the bath. Its perfect, and its on opposite sides. So great employees, location, floor plan. I dont have to sell this, just come yourself and see for yourself. -

The apartments are nice, great location. The staff is always so helpful and accommodative. The one named Emily has always been super responsive and has promptly taken care of anything I brought to her. Nikkita puts on awesome, fun events and makes midtown feel like a real community. Just renewed my lease for another 13 months. -

Midtown Commons was a great neighborhood to live in, for the first year, anyways. The management with the previous owners was really great, they took excellent care of the neighborhood and you could tell they had it altogether and took pride in the complex. The second year, however, under Alliance, was not as brilliant as Lincoln. You could tell that there was a ton of confusion across the board as far as *any* managing was concerned. However, after the first couple of months of Alliance getting settled in, they finally got a stable set of employees, and there was one in particular that I would like to point out, that really helped me to enjoy my last year living there: Trish. Trish was the one person in that office that I knew I could count on for anything in Midtown. After so many issues and things that came up with the switch to Alliance, she was the only one who always remembered my name, was always happy to help, and consistently made sure I was satisfied at Midtown. The pros: Midtown was a cool place to live, the shops are all super nice and close by, the pools are pretty well maintained, and they encourage a social atmosphere here- they will almost give you no issue with having guests or enjoying the amenities. Walls are thick, you hardly hear the neighbors. Cons: Those amenities hardly ever worked- for almost 6 months the club midtown was closed from a flood, they removed the computers from it, they disconnected the cable in there. The BBQs only worked 50% of the times I tried to use them. Fire pits / fire place hardly ever worked either. Dog park is a giant mess of mud most days of the week. Fobs constantly were breaking and doors/gate locks are always busted. Apartments are pretty small. Hallways are always full of trash and really dirty, stairwells are gross.Overall, Id say Midtown was a good experience. Id probably do it again, I dunno. Depends who still works in that office, it makes a huge difference. Amber & Trish are really awesome. -

I have been a resident at Midtown Commons for the past 3 years and so Iāve seen how things have changed since I first moved in back in 2019. Most notably, over the last year or so, theyāve been very intentional in programming events for the residents. From free food/drink events in the leasing office to movie nights under the stars, the events have been š„š„š„. I know itās difficult to engage with residents in such a big complex but the high attendance at each event reflects the quality of them. Lily, one the Midtown Common staff members, leads the planning and execution of these events and so she deserves a HUGE shoutout for her efforts. She, and Ana, another Midtown Commons staff member, are both so friendly and personable at these events and when we walk by the leasing office. Their hospitality is all that is right at Midtown Commons. -

Really great experience touring with Jared! He was extremely professional, nice, and accommodated our anticipated needs in a future apartment! We decided to go with another apartment located further out of downtown, but I had a great time touring and loved the level of service Jared provided. -

Review 58 (2016-02-25 - Rating: 5)
I lived here for two years in Phase 2. The apartment is great. Staff is good. My favorite thing was being so close to the train. Since I work downtown, taking the train to work beats the hell out of driving on 35.The only issue I had here was more with Fedex than with the apartment complex. Fedex delivered several expensive items to my door and left them. They got stolen. Since this has happened multiple times Ive talked with other residents near me and weve agreed to pick up packages for eachother if we see them at our doors. Being more mindful of when deliveries happen has fixed this problem. It wasnt a problem for me, but its worth noting that the drainage lake nearby has overflown a few times with some of the heavy rains we had in the past year. I would definitely look for an apartment above the ground floor just in case. They have plenty of events. I never went to any of them, but they do have events. Theres usually people at the pool in the summer. If youd like to meet people nearby its probably not too hard.If you work downtown and want an easy commute, this is a great place. Its also cheaper than downtown, too. -

As a veteran apartment renter I can say the Midtown team are super helpful and answer any questions Iāve had, quickly too. Lily and Dallas in the office are great, I see them as neighbors, not employees. Also, community events have been setup to bring people together. We had an outdoor movie night not long ago! -

I lived here for two years.Pros: Awesome amenities (my favorite was the farm sink and that it had a spray nozzle thingy) including marble counter tops, wood floors, good lighting, clean gas grills w/ propane provided. Easy access to 35, 183, and Mopac. Nice gyms. Garage parking for residents. New buildings. The insulation is ridiculously good for keeping your AC in and keeping noise out. Ample guest parking. The employees at the office were always helpful and understanding when issues arose, especially Amber Welch(shes the best). Didnt have any trouble with maintenance filling work orders. Washer and dryer hookups in the apartment.Cons: Spectrum internet that cuts out a few times per day. There could be more room in the living area. (Maybe not a con for everyone) The pool gets rowdy during the summer. You have to pay for valet trash even if you dont want it.All in all, Midtown Commons is quality apartment complex thats worth the price. The only reason I moved is because I found a place that saved me money. -

Iām dumbfounded to see this community only has an overall rating of 3.3 stars! Clearly the sub 5 star reviews are from junkies, sociopaths, or just those with no taste whatsoever. Iāve lived at MC (thatās what the younger, hip generation calls Midtown Commons) for almost two years and plan on living here forever. Iāve requested a 20 year lease, but unfortunately, at this time they max out at 12 months. I hope to live longer than that so I guess Iāll just have to keep renewing on a yearly basis. The convenience to shops and restaurants is unparalleled, the other residents are like family, and the staff has been placed here by God herself. If I ever get married, Iām asking Kylie and Ray to have major roles in my wedding, possibly groomsmen. Anyway, I hope my words donāt fall on deaf ears. Move to MC and become a better person, almost instantaneously. -

Review 65 (2017-02-24 - Rating: 4)
So Ive been living here for a bit, and I really enjoy the lot. Its nice in that its new and clean where Im at, and convenient with location, not just for working but also right next to the train, fuzzys, and a corner store thats open late.Ive heard people online complaining about the parking because they got towed unfairly, but my experience has been the worst thing with parking is that sometimes I have to park on the second level instead of the first if I get in late, which is perfectly reasonable especially since there is an elevator. Ive also seen where people arent following the parking rules and then they get towed, and my theory is that they didnt follow the rules but claimed they did afterword, which is something that isnt the fault of the property, thats a user error.Ive also heard people complain about the friendliness of the staff, which to me, I have to chalk up to someones perception/bad day because my experience is that the staff is especially nice and goes out of their way to help and be concerned with anything I bring to them, to the point where Ive come to enjoy whenever I stop in the office to pick up a package. The last thing Ive heard of is poor maintenance, which is the one area I would like to see improvement. Its really not bad, if I have an issue like a burned bulb in a vanity it might take a couple of weeks for the maintenance guys to fix it, but, thats because they prioritize emergency maintenance and the one time I did need something fixed right away it was done a two or three days, so I would think the one area for improvement would be a bigger maintenance staff so minor issues can get handled quicker. To the credit of the owners, Ive had great experiences with security coming to clear up people being rowdy and loud at night and because of the security Ive also never had any property damaged or stolen, so thats a plus also.Ive found the management has always treated us fairly and whenever anything has come up (like getting on them about an light bulb to get replaced) I never got the feeling anyone was trying to jerk me around, quit the opposite, theyd apologize and do what they could get my issue resolved as fast as possible.Lastly, Ive seen some people complain about the pricing, but this is Austin TX, its not cheap to live within city limits. When we found this place it was the nicest area for the least money we could find. Is it the cheapest? No, but I consider that a good thing. For what we pay we moved into the new building, we have valet trash, a gym, a gated garage, security, game room, pool and grill area, laundry in unit, I mean, I cant knock the value. Maybe to someone who didnt value those things, they wouldnt want to pay for them, but its not like what is offered isnt clearly advertised, so if someone wants to go cheaper in Austin they can, just not with all those amenities.I am sorry to see some people had a bad experience, but overall mines been pretty great. -

Trish was exceptionally helpful during my move in process. Coming from Florida, I didnt know what to expect moving here, and she managed to make the entire process stress free. The neighborhood is cute, clean, and conveniently located near every source of public transportation. Its a young neighborhood with a younger crowd, but everyone seems really inviting. Every month theyll have special events just for the midtown residents. So if youre new to Texas, like me, settling in and making new friends is a breeze. Looking forward to renewing my lease! -

*************Update***************Thank you Mr. Johnson for taking the time for the response, I feel as if someone finally listened to me. I appreciate you helping me with this matter quickly and diligently.Original message:I recently just moved out from Midtown Commons and I suggest you really look and find an alternative living situation. During the two years I lived there; their management changed 3 times. The current management team is worse than poor.I wont bore you all with the small things that I believe is wrong and just go to the my last/most recent situation... While I was in the process of moving out of my apartment, I went down stairs to the office 3 days before my move out date to make sure I can have someone walk through the apartment with me. Ive rented an apartment or two before and know how moving out should be handled (i.e. steam clean carpets, patch holes, clean thoroughly). Apparently, they view it different than myself. When I show up for my appointment they say they manger called in and that they can not do a walk through and I just need to turn in my keys. NO ONE else was qualified to walk through with my apartment with me. Long story short, they end up charging me $$$ to throw some hangers I left behind and a Craftsmen Drill -- all things I could have just thrown in my car after the walk through I was promised. I know they did not throw away that drill. lolol.Dont say I didnt warn you. -

Some of the reviews give the place a bad wrap due to last management..I lived there a year and my experience was pleasant! Safe, pool kept up, not loud at all ( but walls are kinda thin.. So that depends on neighbors). They fixed everything IMMEDIATELY!Only thing I would have to say is the trash issue in the garage and not having enough space to go down the shoot. -

My boyfriend and I just moved in and I was super nervous given the negative reviews I have read. We are from Cali where the cost difference between a sh*thole and a ballers pad is very vast, luckily we lived in a place that was sorta in the middle so this was a major step up for us. There are minor issues here and there but it we are still very happy with our choice of apartment communities and that is probably the highlight, this feels like a community! -

Ive lived at Midtown Commons for over 6 years and couldnt be much happier. The property is filled with great neighbors who have each others back and greet you with a smile and hello. The Midtown Commons residents are very dog friendly even knowing your dogs name before remembering yours sometimes. The front office is steered by the professionalism of Trish and Amber who will try their hardest to make your life convenient there. I can honestly say that even when they are having a tough day they still get things done with a great attitude taking care of your needs as swiftly as possible. Theres no perfect place to live in this world regardless what anyone tells you. Midtown Commons Crestview Station management definitely strives to deal with issues quickly while making your stay there comfortable. Highly recommend. -
