    I love it here, since the new manager Stephanie Straw started things have been so much better. She has a beautiful soul and a beautiful spirit. She has been changing things here for the good and I’m so happy she is here, she has really done a wonderful job here and really enjoy being here. I will continue to sign my lease as long as she here.

    I am very unhappy with the laundry facility. When I moved here, a laundry facility was an amenity. I have a difficult time at 75 and back problems dragging clothes up and the stairs and in and out of the car.The other issue is the rent going up and up. I moved in on a fixed income and have affordable housing, but the rent goes up more than my government raise. I don’t see how that is affordable.. I need the raise for food and utilities that also goes up. I see being priced out in the near future.

    I have been at Mariposa since October of last year and for me it has been an excellent experience. The manager Bernice is exceptional. Her bubbly spirit, and the fact that she actually listens and cares about every resident here. She is made so many positive changes. Little things mean a lot. She added a coffee maker for everyone, she bakes fresh cookies for everyone, she puts out snacks, she is working on issues that we have concerns about. She is an awesome manager. Also the amenities here are amazing. Beauty shop onsite and I get my hair done there often, game room, movie room, computer room, lounge areas that are beautiful. I love it and you will too. 🤗🤗🤗

    I love my place.. Im grateful our manager Bernice. She stays on top of things andIs very concerned for the welfare of the community,I have seen positive changes since she has been here. She is always pleasant and easy to commicate with. Her perspective is to hear everyone out and to get the job done to the best interest of the community. She does not play favorites. She is all about making this community work that everyone living here. She is awesome. I give her five stars

    Mariposa at Harris Road now under Dominion. Run by manager Bernice. It is so refreshing to have a Manager who cares about the wellbeing of the tenants and makes sacrifices. To me she is one of the best managers we have. I love it here and will here for now because of her management.

    Updated - 4th Review - May 2024-The Mariposa Harris Rd. has recently changed ownership. Hopefully, the new ownership will continue the excellent maintenance as their predecessors did. I have been a resident of The Mariposa Harris Rd.Arlington TX for several months. Moving into an apartment that is newly built was awesome. The construction of the apartments seems adequate. I have made 2 minor service requests & they were completed the next day. The amenities are much better than my previous apartments. The new ownership is always a question. Hoping for the best.Updated 3rd Review - August 2023 -I have improved my rating from 2 stars to 5. The rating has been improved based on a better understanding of the Senior housing program and my time visiting with the staff at Mariposa. It is critical to timely and thoroughly complete all requested forms that these properties request. The so-called list for most senior properties is inundated which causes a very long waiting list for these properties. The awakening for me was that the applicant must keep a consistent, courteous face to face dialogue with the property managers. The property managers & staff are over burdened & cant stay up with the waiting list by contacting people in order. My opinion is if you timely complete all required paper work & are approved for the waiting list, you must consistently have courteous face to face contact expressing your continued interest. It finally worked for me. Once I reached that point, I must say the Mariposa staff have been highly professional & courteous. An excellent place for seniors to reside.-Update December 2022 -I now reside in a Senior only income based complex within Tarrant County. I do not reside in the Mariposa apartments. I still receive emails from Mariposa as if I was a resident. As stated earlier, I completed all forms, was approved and led to believe I would be moving in over a year ago. I finally made a face to face visit with the lady in charge & was shocked as she advised me there was a long list of seniors waiting to move in. I asked where I was on the list & she would not reveal that information. Still, to this day, I dont understand how this State Senior rental move in list works. I got lucky and found Seniors only complex in Tarrant county that was open and clear about the list and how timely my move in date would be. The Mariposa Senior move in list is still a mystery to me to this day.August 2022. - 1st ReviewI was really in a bad place and struggling when I stopped at the lease office. I am in my 60s separating from my wife and retired with decent income. I completed the application & paid all fees and was excited about my chances here. Mariposa was still under construction but was a beautiful place. After about 2 weeks I called back to discover I was approved & on a backlog list for seniors. I tried to find out how many were ahead of me. The girl refused to share that info.It is now March 2023 & I have not heard anything from Mariposa. What a bummer!

    Mariposa definitely has been a breath of fresh air when it comes to getting a good nights rest, nice amenities, and met some very nice neighbors.The Office Staff has work through the growing community and have been accommodating for me and my husband.Thank You Manager, Assistant Manager, and Leasing Agent for being patient with my concerns.Curtis and Levette Jordan

    The new manager is getting things done and getting us amenities that were promised on the ad online, like the coffee bar, and snacks,, she fixed a issue right away, that the previous manager didn’t even try to fix, with time done she will do great things for the complex.

    Im sold on making these apartments my next home. The office manager Tamai was very helpful and knowledgeable. My visit was while these apartments were still under construction. Looking forward to the projected construction finish date. Hopefully, very soon.

    The process for preleasing was made so stress free by staff and the selection of what type of apartment home I need a courtyard for my service pet, she going to love ❤️ it ! We can hardly wait until September to move in.
