I have been here over 2 years. I love this place. The office staff have become like family to me. The rent is reasonable and they will work with you within reason in times of trouble. My experiences have been impeccable. Amenities are great. They have internet, a gym, swimming pool and a dog park. I would recommend them to singles and families looking for housing. I could go on because I have lived in other apartment complexes that don’t compare to what they offer.

My issue was resolved professionally in a timely manner. The maintenance tech was courteous and very knowledgeable, identifying and fixing the problem (air conditioner not functioning properly). The few times I’ve had to contact the Legacy staff they’ve always been attentive and genuinely concerned. Great customer service from leasing office staff, maintenance, security, even the after hours answering service staff. Because of all of this, I am a safe and satisfied tenant. Moved in on Oct.18 while a special was in effect and these days been good here no loud neighbors or people in the breezeway I had a smooth move in and everthing good and feels like home for me the staff was great and Andrea Lopez was professional cool helped me along to move into my new place.

Well, since I’ve been here at Legacy of Cedar Hill , I don’t have no problems. It’s outside people The staff inside the office. are the maintenance crew all I know is that Brenda, who I communicate with when I first got here she is doing a amazing job always smiling. She have a caring heart and she always take care of business when act if I have anybody coming in town and looking for a place to stay and live like they want to, I will recommend them to come to Legacy of Cedar Hill . Very nice respectful people. My neighbors is so cool from next-door to downstairs. We all get along real good and that’s what makes a better place to live and to be happy once again I want to thank everyone inside the office for a great job Eugene Brown.

I love the size of my apartment. The cost is reasonable the maintance service has slightly improved. My lament floor has been coming up for years now no one ever offered come fix it. They look at it with concern then nothing. A new company has taken over now so we will see what happens next. Since Morgan Properties has taken over I have seen improvement. More community activities, had security monitoring doesnt look like it lasted long. Still issues tha need to be resolved. There is shooting over her constantly. Unmonitored minors roaming arpund causing problems. Been here 5 yrs this is best I have seen it. Still aways to go cleaning up is the easy part. I dont allow my kids outside and visitors have to pay for parking after certain time. Cant wait move out I am over apartment living.

When we first starting looking into Legacy of Cedar Hill Apartments, I felt that this was going to be a good experience. Well once certain fees were paid and lease signed, things turned for the worse. We were given a move in that changed 3 times. Once the for real move-in date came, the apartment was not inhabitable. The appliances had not been reconditioned and serviced, the dishwasher was broke, roaches were all in the kitchen, bathroom, and wash area, and the kitchen cabinets looked as though they had water damage. We demanded that these issues be fixed before we actually moved in. After move-in, I will say eventually things got better. The office staff was prompt about responding to any of our requests. Our unit finally got its W & D, new blinds were installed, new dishwasher installed, other appliances fixed, and pest control worked to resolve the roach issue. We have gotten to know the office staff, and they really try to make sure their tenants live comfortably. For this we say thank you!

When I first moved into these apartments I’m not going to lie it was terrible. I was shown a unit that wasn’t even the unit I moved into and Ann who was in the office was the WORSE!!! Our apartment went w/o air for months in the heat of the summer the pipes leaked, my kids ceiling was leaking and our floor was cracked. So many things were broken in our “new” apartment and I dreaded coming home everyday. I never expected things to be perfect because they are apartments and all the reviews on here expecting perfection is a reach. I will say since the office and maintenance team has changed things have gotten soooo much better! I won’t lie I was ready to move but Karla made it right! She has been so helpful and kind during the process making sure I understood everything and making sure that my needs were met. We ended up staying . Karla and Brenda as well are amazing , this complex is lucky to have them and should make sure that they are treated well so they stay to continue to help others like me. Thank you so much from the bottom of heart I appreciate you.

I had a lot of issues going on in my apartment. I honestly was really frustrated cause they kept going unresolved so I went to the office for help. I really appreciate Karlas help, she was really patient through the whole process. She was able to find solutions to the issues, quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend going to her if youre having any problems in the apartments.

I spoke with Stephanie today regarding a 2 bedroom. She was very patience with me as she explained the process. She offered to do a tour of the apartments with me at my convenience. She provided the nearby freeways and schools for my kids. She also explained how far I would be traveling to my job. I do appreciate her great customer service . I have never had someone provide such detail information.

Ricardo did a wonderful job fixing my cabinet shelf in the kitchen. He thought he would have to come back the next day but he didn’t he came back within 3 min. He also changed my battery to my door. Ricardo is very helpful and funny and I thank him so much while is being two days before thanksgiving. Awesome!!

I very been here a 6yrs and have seen alot of rotation in the office as far as staff. Well I think they finally got it Temeshia Bell assistant manager of Morgan properties and her staff have came in and turn this place around . Nowhere is perfect to live but Legacy of Cedar is SURE close to it. I see so many improvements and the people in the office and on property are very nice and push to get stuff done with a very quick turn around.

The property manager Osmara is great, I’ve talked to her plenty of times and you can tell that she loves what she does for a living. I referred many people to this apartment complex and both Danielle and Devin were very helpful to them and both are extremely professional and friendly. I highly appreciate the workers here.

Been here 4 months. Almost didnt move here because of the reviews but glad I did. I have had no issues. Management is great and maintenance has handled any issue within two days. My only setback was that my move in time was put back to get my unit ready. I stay between the front and rear. Where I am is quiet and my neighbors are great. My kids love it here. Dont plan on moving anytime soon.

Just moved into Legacy at Cedar Hill and it is an amazing apartment complex. I had no problems getting into my apartment, the leasing agents are very professional but for anybody looking for someone that will take care of you Demetrice will do exactly that. She called me back if I need any information to turn in and worked with me throughout the whole process. If you are moving into legacy at cedar hill ask for Demetrice and watch her work.

Mrs. Tillman was the first person to help me when searching for an apartment here at Legacy. She helped me find the perfect place and she did it quickly. She was very sweet, funny and effective. She made me feel at ease with throughout the whole process. I have lived here for 3 months and I am happy I made the move. The apartment is lovely and so is the price.Pros: Great people in the office, the price, it’s quiet, and the neighbors are niceCons: Lord the grass cutters ! Side note: I have a problem sleeping sometimes. I’m up late and by the time I do fall asleep they are cutting grass. Smh

Just completed our second year at Legacy and now are relocating to a different city.Our stay here at Legacy has been wonderful.Ms. Nita and the staff made us feel like family, our unit was quiet and energy efficient, great neighbors, and a warm sense of community is what we will remember.What few minor maintenance issues we had were remedied immediately by an excellent maintenance staff, and the grounds were always kept beautifully.We will miss our little corner of Cedar Hill and recommend Legacy based on our experience.

I lived at these apartments for a year and i have to say i loved living here. It was quiet, my work orders were fixed very promptly and the size of it was the perfect size for me and my boyfriend. However, i think the ladies that worked in the office were a hit or miss. When i say that i mean one day they are sweet with you then the other they act as if you asking a question inconveniences them. Me and my boyfriend got our cars towed living here. Paid parking spots might i add. i got my car towed the first week i moved in but the management reimbursed it in the rent. Other than that i liked living here, just not paying THAT much rent to do so. it was my very first apartment though.

Valen, the new Manager has made significant improvements and continues to do so with great professionalism and a caring staff. Now the complex is returning to its old form. I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews!! That’s absolutely crazy to me!! As long as you’re paying your rent and communicating with them you shouldn’t have any problems at all. I have had so many horrible experiences with different complexes. The Employees at this complex are nothing less than amazing. There is a lady named LaShanna, her and a couple other ladies like Miss Debra and the y’all lady with the short hair cut, they have made a huge impact on my life. I never have to wait long for maintenance and to say that they’ve helped me out would be a complete understatement. You’d have to flat out be a person with a horrible attitude, to not get along with them. There is one girl there named Mercedes and she hasn’t really interacted with me at all, I don’t think she talks to the residents that often. But even still she’s always been nice. And other than her, every single woman in that office has greeted me with a smile and great rapport. I love it here and I have had zero problems. Great area not a lot of noise or ppl hanging out outside. It’s Awesome!! Highly recommended.Someone made a comment saying that kids aren’t safe here bc Of thugs and weed smoke and animal feces. And that couldn’t be further from the truth. I have 3 children and I get off work at 4 am, so if my kids weren’t safe or if there were “thugs” outside I’d know it. These ladies have truly been a blessing to me. And I would recommend this complex to anybody looking for a nice, quiet place to call home. ❤️

I lived here near the front of the office. I have had my bathroom floods, ant attacks, NO missing packages, and to my surprise (by these reviews) good customer service! The people up front are super busy and mostly understaffed which I could imagine makes work hard to service EVERYONE in this huge complex. All my issues and the office was MORE than apologetic and made up for any mishaps. This complex runs like a public school system. If you do not make your presence known... you are likely to be overlooked. Overall I would renew my lease again if I were not moving to a house.Cons:1. Proper Follow up needed on ALL maintenance requests and I am talking at least 3 follow up calls or walkins (at first)2. Small units. Almost everyone has an extra garage because storage space is few and far between. I have an attached garage and an SUV.3. No Courtesy patrol outside office hours nor are they accessible to tenants.4. Someone did get shot, but that was in the rear entry of the apartments. (I heard it is a bit more UNattended back there.).5. Stray dogs.... this is an issue city-wide. We saw 3 dogs in 9 months. 2 small breed, 1 German Shepherd.6. Pest problem is an issue in some units. Probably from gaps in structure not properly caulked. Maintenance could use more lead people with better training and knowledge.Pros:1. Near the front it is quiet.2. Kids can play outside safely3. Rent is reasonable4. Office always willing to fix issues and nice if you are nice to them.5. Not taking poop DNA for dogs, to fine you later. I pickup the poop my kids dont always.6. Great Location off highway 67 and near new and nice stores7. Property well maintained

Valen and her staff did an amazing job of helping my son with his apartment. I was impressed with her professionalism and prompt attention to my sons needs. This is an awesome community.

These characteristics are extremely vital in all lines of business, but rare in residential rentals (based on my experience). I have lived here over a year. I have had good experiences with the staff. I enjoy the stay here. If I have a problem with anything needing to be fixed if it’s not done the same day it’s done the next day. My experience here is great, thank you for the welcome.
