A exceptional property that delivers a lot and is a hidden gem. I’ve lived in Austin my whole life and have rented in a lot of places and this is the place you want to live. This area puts you in a really nice nature preserve that’s not over built with great views, allows for an easy commute to downtown and has you close to Lake Travis. The amenities were recently remodeled and are resort like (not many places deliver on this). Staff here is always friendly and ready to help with anything you might need - Amadi, Lauren and Andrew are the best to say the least! I’ve lived here for 3 years and would definitely recommend it.

We recently toured the Lavella apartment complex in Northwest Austin, and we couldnt be happier with our experience. Andrew went above and beyond, providing a thorough tour and helping us find our dream apartment. Walking around and seeing all the amenities as well as the amazing views, really made it feel like a redprt. It had that feeling of feeling just right so we decided to pay a down payment and lock in the apartment of our choice. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we also met the manager, Lauren, who made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

At times my maintenance requests havent been addressed as quickly as Id like, but since Andrew Myers has begun working in the office, all that has changed. He always makes residents feel like a priority and I appreciate how communicative he is, always keeping me in the loop. I highly recommend leasing here and I love the professional approach to any concerns I have.

Lavella offers stunning views of Westlake and is the perfect place to call home. The apartments themselves have renovated cabinets and color schemes that are modern and sleek. I can’t wait to move in soon!

Its a change from the last owners who kicked me out of my 2 bedroom to renovate it and didnt let me know even when I decided to stay and no one ever told me anything till the renovated people showed up at my apartment to view and they told me they were renovating it. What a shock it was to me and my roommate. Roommate moved out and I was left finding a renovated 1 bedroom at Westlake. I loved the location and decided to stay since Im only 7 miles from my work. Its quiet and peaceful. The new owners took over and lowered the amenities cost which now I pay a lower total rent cost. Love the renovated white color on outside that adds to the appeal of the apartments. We went from hardly anyone renting because everyone didnt like to be kicked out for renovations and left, to now we are getting more renters in building one. I love the view of my patio from my apartment. I like paying less. The new people in the office are inviting and nice. We shall see how the new owners do in the future. They just took over a few months ago. So far so good. Can give another review in the future.

Amadi works in the leasing office and she was the one who did my tour for me back in may, I’ve been living in Lavella now for 7 months and every time I walk through the leasing office she is so kind, always says hi, asks how I am doing, and has gone above and beyond helping me with my packages in the mail room. She really makes Lavella glow even more! Having such a friendly personality and welcoming aura really adds the touch of home to Lavella, it really completes what Lavella is going for. Also I love it when they host things for the residents! The food truck on Fridays in the summer were the best to eat tacos by the pool!

The place is beautiful with awesome views. They are renovating and upgrading everything right now, and it will be even better. I have been here since 2020 and we have a great office manager and crew. Wow. This community is stunning. The staff were all smiling and welcoming when my fiancé and I walked in. We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Andrew. He was knowledgeable, positive, and so professional. I’m a stickler for customer service, but Andrew exceed even my expectations and standards. He had a solid closing argument for why we should choose Westlake. So, we made the decision and we are so excited to move in!

Ive lived at West Lake Vistas for a year and a half, and absolutely love it! The open concept floor plans, plank flooring and stainless steel appliances are great. The best part is a toss up... our AMAZING view or our leasing agent, Haley! Haley has been so kind and helpful and is passionate about her job and the residents. Sadly, we are moving because we purchased a house, and will miss Haley and her team (and this view, yall!). Thank you for everything, West Lake Vistas!

Updating After 6 Months:Got a notice from Google that my review had been viewed 10,000x, so figured Id do a 6 month update. ;-)This is definitely one of my favorite places that Ive lived (out of 20 in my life) and easily my favorite in Austin (compared to Domain, Downtown, and Eastside). The peace and view out here are amazing and its only about a 20 minute drive to most places I end up going (lake, downtown, domain, etc).As an aside, a lot of the homes that have the same view as we do (looking south) are $2M-10M++. The next street over (City Park) is some of the most expensive real estate in Austin. So definitely a value to live here and get a lot of the same.I moved into one of the upgraded / renovated units, which is on par with any newer complex youll run across (...excluding very high end towers, etc).Every neighbor that Ive met has been very friendly and the kind that you end up talking to often, which is a huge perk.Another pro here is the maintenance. Ive probably made 10 or so maintenance requests since moving in and theyre ridiculously fast. Usually within an hour or so. And really cool to deal with. Cant say enough good things.As far as 6 month cons, there are a few...1) Its not really a huge deal unless you let it be, but youll run into some bugs and what not occasionally since youre out in the Texas Hills. (Ill leave at s so you can use your imagination, haha) You do get used to it though.2) The property is currently under construction, so there are some effects of that. Although Ive lived in a lot of places that are under construction and its honestly not been bad here.3) As with pretty much any apartment in a woodframe building thats been built in the last couple of decades, noise from your neighbors carries through the ceilings and floors. So try to avoid living under a flat footed Ogar.4) Parking garage has some pretty tight spots.So yea, in closing I guess Id just say its an apartment building. Youre going to have tradeoffs in an apartment. It is what it is. But at least this one has some pretty cool perks (the view, the area, etc). Other parts of town are nice, but they have trade offs too. Ill take driving a little farther and having a cool view over a ton of noise, graffiti, and beggars on every corner.

I secured lodging before I moved to Austin without ever seeing the property in person. Worst. Mistake. Ever! A year later, while randomly driving around the city I stumbled across the hidden gem that is Lavella. I felt sated immediately driving up its tucked away drive. Meeting Andrew Meyers on this beautiful property was the linchpin in my decision to move to Lavella. He answered all my questions (they were many; I have Excel spreadsheets with property data of over 40 properties created by me) while making me laugh and feel at home. If you stop by Lavella, definitely speak with Andrew and Amadi they are the absolute best!!

Ive lived here for almost 6 months now and havent had any problems. If Ive ever had any maintenance work that needed attention, the maintenance crew has responded and taken care of my request within a couple of hours of my work order. The staff have been very accommodating and are all so friendly and nice. I recommend this place if you are looking for a hill country vibe but also a quiet and family friendly vibe.

The apartments are beautiful, but what really drills the positive experience home is how helpful Sydney is. It’s very rare to find people who genuinely do their best at what they do, and Sydney holds that rare exception. I was having a lot of difficulties that Sydney was able to be a great assistance of. Felt very well taken care of without having to bug the staff at all. Absolutely great experience thanks to Sydney! Felt like home.

As part of a corporate relocation, my wife and I moved to Austin and West Lake Vistas at the peak of the 2020 COVID pandemic. After leaving Atlanta, GA, we really wanted a spot that was extremely pet-friendly, was slightly away from city congestion, and had a great view or outdoor area.West Lake definitely delivered all of the above!Despite ongoing COVID concerns and mandates, and an uncommon winter storm in early 2021, we have thoroughly enjoyed the almost endless views from our porch, soaking up the sun by one of three pools, and the safe and relaxing nature of West Lake Vistas. With the quick access to downtown, the Domain, parks and nature trails, and even Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the location of this complex cannot be beat. Our 3-bedroom unit was a great retreat, and work space, that had more than enough space for our family when visiting, room for our animals, huge closets, and super tall ceilings. The parking garage is gated and provided plenty of space for my SuperDuty.The West Lake Vistas management and maintenance team are one of the best weve ever dealt with.Haley Moncivais and Brandon McGinnity are absolute rock stars, going above and beyond to make sure residents are happy, and the entire complex is maintained and running smoothly. Haley sold us on our place back in April 2020 and has consistently checked-in on us to make sure we are enjoying our stay. She cares about our old, blind dog and if other dogs are found off-leash, she says hello to us by name, and has helped us with anything we need at every turn. She even took care of some noisy upstairs neighbors for us! Brandon appears to quite literally handle anything and everything needing to be done around West Lake. The guy is a machine. From routine or emergency maintenance, to pool care, to collecting and taking out garbage...and even cleaning up around the dumpsters...Brandon does a great job and the residents here owe him a huge thanks!I cannot say enough positive things about Haley, Brandon, and the rest of the staff here!

I am extremely happy with the unit that Haley Moncivais got me into. She heard me out about everything I was looking for, worked inside of my budget, and got me into the best property Ive ever been a tenant at. I have the best view Ive ever had - my balcony looks directly out over the nature preserve (check out the picture), and the unit has a total of 9 south-facing windows that keep natural light coming in through the entire day. Considering that I now spend 95% of my waking hours where I live because I work from home for COVID, moving into West Lake Vistas was the best decision I couldve made. I am proud to recommend both West Lake Vistas and Haley Moncivais to anyone looking for a new home - I didnt think I could ever live in a place like this, but she made it happen.

Becky and Jess are awesome! Becky was willing to work with us to get us a pretty sweet 2 bed 2 bath in our budget and got us a month free rent too. I also called them before the move in to get dimensions for the porch for a storage unit I was going to buy and someone immediately went over to the unit and measured for me because they didnt have the dimensions handy.As with any apartment, we had a couple of issues after we moved in, but Becky and Jess were quick to get them sorted out without issue.Plus, we also have a bit of a view :)

Im glad I selected these apartments. I feel like these are the best keep secret in town. Views, peace and quiet, great amenities, 10 foot ceilings. The units feel spacious and modern. Parking is covered and with plenty of room. Things look clean!!! Lots of improvements with the new ownership. The pool looks excellent, the Gym is spot on, the pool rocks. I read past reviews and it seems that management was a disaster. I can assert this is no longer the case. All good things to say regarding the new crew in charge. Jessica, Becky, Cindy and Ashley. Thanks, you are making a difference.UPDATE:The reason for this post is to recognize Brandon from Maintenance, for his outstanding and courteous response. Just finished a 1-year lease here in Building 1. The location is by far the best part/gorgeous views close to downtown. We loved this building because you didn’t have to drive up the big hill. We went to the gym across the street and would walk to the coffee shop as well! Also, the maintenance team is 5 stars, so quick & nice. You can use an app to request something, and they will be there by the next morning to fix it. The layout of these buildings are very nice because you can have covered parking on any level you live on, reducing the need to take any stairs.As for the office, it’s almost impossible to get ahold of them unless you walk in. The phone lines constantly didn’t work, and our office contacts changed throughout our lease term. We lived in Building 1, and the pool house alarm would go off all the time while you’re trying to relax & enjoy your pool day. In addition, the parking garage turns are tight if you own a truck/large SUV. As they have started their renovation process, prices have just skyrocketed, forcing a lot of people to have to move out.

I love this place! Ive been a long-time resident (5+ years) here at West Lake Vistas, and Im proud to call this place my home! The property is always clean, beautiful, and the views truly are amazing. The management team/maintenance staff we currently have are hands-down the best Ive encountered throughout my time here. Shout out to Haley in the front office especially! Shes always so kind and caring and truly tries to resolve any issues I bring her way. Also, Brandon (the maintenance tech) is always on-top of problems that arise and shows that he genuinely cares about his job. The only thing that could be improved is the trash pick-up/dumpster situation that can arise from time to time. Other than that, I really cant complain about this place, as my time here has been quite peaceful! The neighbors are also kind and friendly. If youre looking for a safe, quiet, clean place to live, this is a great spot to check out!

Tl;dr: good prices, big apartments, lovely views. Work orders can take a while. Management switches often and the most recent one isnt the best. Not walkable at all.So I’ll preface this review with the fact that I lived here for one year and a few weeks. I moved out in the middle of August 2023.Management seems to have gone downhill in the year that I’ve been living here. I honestly don’t know how many management companies we had in the past 12 months but I miss old management under Heather that was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Understanding as well! We used to have community events where we could get to know our neighbors with free drinks, they would have a different food truck every week, and other misc. events like yoga! It was great. Now management is pretty unfriendly and is hard to get a hold of. If I had one recommendation to management is to fix the phone lines! It is very hard to get a person on the other end of the line and many calls go unanswered even when you leave a message. I believe this is due to the phone lines now having a hold system – either you get an answer or you get sent to leave a voicemail, no ability to wait for someone to pick up the phone.The apartments themselves I had no problem with. I had a 2x2 and was great to have a dedicated office room. The appliances are nice and the floorplans are very spacious. The best part of the apartments are the views! Make sure you get an apartment with the view that you want (definitely ask about this before leasing). My only gripe with the apartments is there is 0 walkability and you 100% need a car to live here, but you know what you’re getting into when you sign the lease. For reference the buildings at the top of the hill are 0.5 miles from the highway, so it adds a bit of extra travel time to get up to the apartments at the top.If you rent an apartment on the top floor, keep in mind the AC units for every apartment is located at the top and you WILL hear them running when the weather gets warm. I liked it – it was a free white noise machine, but I had a few guests that did not appreciate it when trying to sleep.The walls are pretty good! I heard literally 0 noise from either of my shared walls and I have really good hearing. This might have been just due to having great considerate neighbors but hearing genuinely nothing is very rare.Amenities are great! Gym could be better but is great for an apartment and is more than adequate for a quick workout before work. Pools are cool but could use a cleaning more frequently. I wish the clubhouse in the leasing office (with coffee and a pool table) was open outside of office hours, but this isn’t a huge deal.Pricing could be better but it’s not bad for Austin. I believe that since you’re so far away from downtown it leads to some price savings. Keep in mind you HAVE to pay for valet trash and a few other fees so add about $300 to your rent for those misc. fees + utilities.The location of the apartments are pretty nice with an HEB about 10 minutes away. There aren’t a ton of restaurants and bars around but you can get some pretty decent food in approximately 15 minutes. Downtown Austin is approximately 25 minutes away via 2222, which is a fun drive.For my runners/bikers: This place is a biker’s paradise with 360 right down the road and the Jester climb at your doorstep. The hills of Big View and City Park are just down the road. For runners, it’s okay with a 5 mile out and back up Jester and an 8 mile loop nearby. Just know that you will have to cross or run next to the highway to get to either of these.Overall I enjoyed my time here. I don’t know if I’d move here again due to the new management but if you find them agreeable I don’t see why this wouldn’t be a good apartment to spend some time here!

We lived at Lake West for 3 years and loved it. The three bedroom layout was amazing and the view from our apartment... absolutely gorgeous! When you get there, ask for Haley. Of course, the whole team is great but Haley has gone above and beyond for us and we couldnt be more pleased! As you look at communities in Austin, Lake West is so convenient to so many locations, Lake Travis, Domain shopping, 20 mins to downtown... overall, just really enjoyed our time there and grateful for service Haley and team provided.

I moved into WLV in January of 22 without being able to see a unit first. I was told there were no available units to see. Because of the gorgeous views, I decided to go for it. I just loved the winding road up the hill to the apartment and the view of the nature preserve from the rooftop lounge. It felt like arriving at a vacation spot, not an apartment complex.While my unit is not one of the renovated ones, its comfortable and has a fantastic view. With our high ceilings here, the renovated units look great and feel fresh and airy with light-colored finishes.Among the other things that I appreciate are the fast response times to maintenance requests now that Willowick has caught up on the backlog they inherited from the previous management company. These days, one of our maintenance people show up within 24h of my request, sometimes within an hour or two.Ive also found the leasing office staff to be friendly and accommodating. Theyve addressed any concern Ive had and answered every question thats come up. They even checked on my dog for me the first day I had to leave him home alone after his surgery. The Dog Family here is one of the best parts. Our dogs play together and we pet parents often swap pet care duties when needed.The areas I would say that have improved but still have room to improve are security and grounds keeping. While I havent had my car broken in to, I know its been an issue for some residents. As for the grounds, we need someone to pick up after the residents who think its appropriate to throw trash over their balconies and who neglect to clean up after their dogs. These arent things that would be noticed without walking the grounds, but as a daily dog-walker, I cant help but see people and pet messes.All in all, the pros outweigh the cons. There are few apartments with views like ours and I like the people I know here so Ive renewed my lease.

I’m sad to be moving out of Westlake Vistas. Ive been in Austin for almost 15 years and this was the best apartment experience I’ve had in that time. You can’t beat the views. I’ve watched some beautiful sunsets from my balcony. There are plenty of birds around if you enjoy watching and listening. I wish that I had spent more time at the pools, gym, sky lounge and club house. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. Especially, Haley. She helped me on several occasions. Every interaction we had was positive and she always had a genuine smile. I’m sure going to miss this place. It’s quiet, private and at times feels resort like. If you’re considering this apt, go see Haley. She’ll take care of you.

My experience applying for and moving into the West Lake Vistas has been amazing. Everyone whom Ive talked to has been very friendly and helpful. Haley was masterful in helping me complete my paperwork. She knows the process front to back. Stephanie was fast in answering questions about the property and was willing to work with me on the move in date. Marissa was personable in showing me to my unit and did a neat run through of it with me.My unit upon arriving was clean. It was more expansive than cell phone pictures first made me think. I would say the artistic rendering of the Cielo floor plan is a good estimate for size. I could fit two queen beds in the bedroom if I wanted to.The only thing that might be a downside to some is that the property is geared towards residents with cars. I think thats kind of assumed, though, given that its not downtown.I would definitely recommend staying here.

For starters, the property is equally as scenic as it is the photos. The staff here is fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable! My girlfriend and I could not have had a better experience with the tour and the application process.We decided to call to set up a tour and Alex was able to get us in the same day, even just a few hours later. Alex obviously knows the property very well - we sat down for about 15 minutes going over what were looking for and Alex had the perfect unit picked out immediately after. The unit she picked checked off all the boxes that we wanted!If you’re looking to live here, I recommend applying in the office. Haley was super helpful with the whole process and answered every single question we had. It really could not have been any easier!All of the amenities - sky lounge, fitness center, clubhouses, dog parks etc - all looked very well kept and make this property really stand out. We are really looking forward to living here.Thank you Alex and Haley!

I moved here back in November and have been overall very happy with my new place. Im paying $130 less here than I was paying at Bell South Lamar for 100 square ft more with an amazing view of the nature reserve. Meagan and team have been great every step of the way. While I have had more service requests than I wouldve liked since I moved here, the staff has been very receptive and worked diligently to get the issues resolved; it seems like they really want to see the situation improved compared to previous management.Parking spots are in the center of the complex so I dont have to walk far to bring groceries in to my place compared to my last place (had to park on the other end of the complex at my last place).The gym has plenty to offer. There are several machines, dumbbells, treadmills and even a yoga room.I will say I was a tad disappointed my unit coming with a leaky sink and a washing machine that was damaged. Wouldve expected both of those to be tested and functioning before I had moved in. But the staff worked with me to get those resolved and the maintenance guys got the work done quick and left a confirmation note after they left each time.Theres really nothing like opening up the blinds in the morning and looking out at the beautiful treeline (Im on the top floor). My wife and I just moved in from out of state and after looking at like 1,000 different places around Austin, we are SO glad we chose West Lake Vistas!! #1, the staff is fantastic! The managers are always super anxious to help with any questions and are very accommodating! #2, the maintenance staff (weve only met one so far) but he was super nice and ran over (after the office hours were closed) the day we moved in to get us a new lock and allow us to move in! #3, the views are absolutely incredible. SO glad that we get to see some forest (we are moving from a small rural town in NE Ohio) as opposed to a concrete jungle in the city. The views are stunning!So, we are SO glad we moved here and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to move in!

My experience at West Lake Vistas has been much different than the reviews I’ve read in here so I thought I’d share. My maintenance requests have always been carried out in a very timely manner. The crew has always been honest and fast for me. I have not one complaint about them. I have seen management change hands but it hasn’t impacted me negatively in any way and each team has been friendly, professional, and hard working. In the office, I’ve had conversations with nearly everyone. Briley always greats me with a huge refreshing smile every time I walk in and everyone in the office is ready to help me. I’ve never stood to wait for someone to approach me. Lisa oversees the team and is also a very hard working. In fact, I haven’t had open communication with any previous managers as much as I have with her. She hosts multiple events to engage with the residents to find out what she can do to help enhance their experience here. I can see that she genuinely tries to make people happy with everything in her power. This community is on a nature preserve, which means there are birds and animals that live very close on all sides. I haven’t had any incidents that some have mentioned and I’ve lived here since the place was called Alexan Vistas. I do have confidence that if I did have a pest problem, they would take care of it right away. This is a huge property with tons of residents and most people only write reviews when they have something to complain about, but not many take time to write about their good experiences. The view from my unit is breathtaking and the parking garage design is brilliant. My vehicle is always covered to keep it cool and the walk to my front door from my vehicle is short. It is worth taking a tour here – don’t let the negative reviews prevent you from coming by. If youre looking for an apartment community that has a calm and quiet atmosphere, an AMAZING view of the Austins hill country, and a super polite/friendly staff, then this is your place.

First, I would like to start off by saying that I have lived here for close to 3 years and I intend on staying until the day I purchase my next house. This is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever lived in, including my many years in Houston and The Woodlands. The views are absolutely breathtaking on this huge hill and all friends and family that visit me are all blown away with the placement of this complex. The location is perfect as I am only 15 minutes from downtown, 13 minutes from The Domain, 5 minutes from Lake Austin, 7 minutes from Lake Travis, and 2 minutes from some of the most remarkable hiking trails Ive ever been to. With that being said, I have see different teams manage the place. Each group that has come in has been friendly and done their best to keep up with maintaining the property and taking care of issues per individual units. Like all apartments, some issues are immediate and some take a few days or weeks. But the reason I am writing this review today is because of this new group that has come in recently. Of the 3 years Ive been here, Ive never seen the property as clean and organized as it is now. From my understanding, they havent been here but for more than a month based on their welcome/intro email they sent out. In that little bit of time, they have already pressure washed the property making it look 100,000 times better, fixed doors to operate quieter in entry halls, painted necessary areas which boosted the appearance even more, and drastically improved the trash/waste management system. This seemed to be the biggest issue and it took this group to finally get it right. The owners of the property brought in some heavy hitters this time and I will be going to thank them in person soon. Im not sure if they will read this or not, but I hope they do because they should be proud of how they are taking care of the place, which I never really thought needed any improvements to begin with. Ive loved this property since the day I moved in, but now it is even more luxurious and gives me even another reason to stay. Kudos to them and their efforts..

Beautiful apartments with awesome amenities. Very pet friendly. If you call, make sure to ask for Haley, she’s made sure that every issue I’ve had (which are few) with my apartment have been taken care of extremely fast. In addition to Haley, I want to highlight Mike, a grounds crew member. Ive lived at Westlake Vistas for 3 years now and this is the best the property has looked in my opinion. If youre looking for a nice quiet apartment community thats not too far from downtown, this is the place.

Extremely happy with my new home and still cant believe I live here! Recently relocated from out of state and feel like I hit the jackpot as soon as I walked into the Leasing Office. I was welcomed by Hailey Moncivais. Even though I didnt have an appointment, Hailey was very courteous, professional, and extremely personable. She took the time to sit down and listen to all of my wants and needs and took notes. I was downsizing from a 3 bedroom condo to a one bedroom apartment, so I wanted to make sure it didn’t feel like the walls were caving in. When I was done talking, she took a quick look on her computer and turned to me and said “are you ready to go see your new home?” I was so impressed and relieved from the moment I walked in the front door! It was everything I was looking for, and wanting, and more. Haley nailed it! The property is gorgeous. I love my view overlooking the hill country. The amenities are amazing. I feel like I am on vacation everyday living here. Thank you Hailey Moncivais and West Lake Vistas!!

Becky, the property manager, was a pleasure to meet, and instrumental in recognizing areas for improvement from my feedback on the complex. She definitely made me feel as a valued tenant as she went out of her way to meet, and understand my needs as a resident, so i highly recommend others to take a tour, and see why I will continue to live here based of that interaction.

I love living here. The apartments are beautiful. The views are stunning. As far as the staff are concerned, maintenance has been prompt and efficient. Concerning front office staff, Torey has been nothing but awesome. There was a management switch during my application process and she did her best to make everything as smooth as possible. She’s gone above and beyond concerning all of my needs and always maintains a cheerful and friendly demeanor which I have to say is rare these days and I genuinely appreciate. I hope she works here for at least as long as I am living here because I feel like someone I can trust works in there. If I ever have questions, I know I can go to her and get thorough, honest answers. Awesome job!

This place is absolutely beautiful!!!!! I searched all over Austin for a place for myself and my dog. I had moved 4 times within the period of 1 month before I found West Lake Vistas. Ive lived at this complex for 4 years and have been through the many shifts in office staff theyve had. We just got a new team in April or May, I would say, and so far, theyre better than the previous ones, whom I can tell horror stories about based on my experience. This team has already done several upgrades to the amenities but the spaces still have a long way to go. It is a BEAUTIFUL complex and the views are stunning. The dog parks are nice, the trails are fun, the pool and clubhouses are clean, and the covered parking is a definite plus. One of the smaller pools does turn a little green from algae due to its shallowness and because it sits in the sun the whole day without shade so its a very warm pool. The maintenance guys always clean it as soon as they see it happen. All the pool go-ers are super friendly and we all respect each other with regards to music, noise, behavior.They have added shade sails to the pool, bought new outdoor furniture for the Sky Lounge, repainted the ugly red and yellow walls in the gym to white for brightness, and are repainting our front doors at our request. I would like to see some additional lighting in the pool areas both above ground and in the pool as it gets pretty dark here and we do get critters running around. They have started sending out newsletters, which is great, and continually ask for our input and suggestions on what ideas we have.The gym could still use some more revamping -theres always at least a few lights that are out and it makes for a dreary workout at night. The bathrooms in there are not cleaned daily or, at least, it doesnt look like it. Theres usually toilet stains in the bowl or the trash is full. The old management almost never had soap or paper towels but this new team has taken care of that. The carpets have go to go or at least be vacuumed weekly. Also, I would love to see more variety in the machines -maybe have someone who is an avid gym-goer do a little consult. Theres so much one can with that space.The actual units are nice and spacious, however, the fixtures could use updating. The appliances are fine (stainless steel) but the faucets and the shower heads look like they are from a 2-star motel. The counter tops in the kitchen and in the bathroom dont match and the walls are pretty thin (I can hear full-blown conversations) but that is to be expected.The new office staff have their work cut out for them but they hit the ground running and I look forward to seeing more of their ideas come to life. Ive worked with Lisa a few times and shes responsive and very nice. Ive also had very good experiences with the maintenance team, who are always quick and thorough with my requests. Ive had them show up moments after I call or same day for top priority cases and the most Ive waited was two weeks for very low priority requests.Lastly, my rent increased by $300 this year, even during a recession and Covid, but thats Connor Group for you. They are ruthless with their properties.

This is a beautiful community with amazing views and amenities. The current team (Willowick) have done an outstanding job since taking over. Westlake Vistas has been through 3 management team/ownership since weve lived here. Before Willowick the pools were green, gates we always broken and there was alot of neglect even for the most common and basic of things like trash. Colby, Heather and the team have done so much to raise the spirits of the residents here. First thing theyve done here was brought in professional pool maintenance, trash pickup, fixed garage gates and more. Resident concerns are addressed prompty and communication is great. Theyve been organizing community events, which never happened here before. You can tell they genuinely care about people and they are balancing renovations, new tenants, old tenants and building a community like a management team. Its not a team of sales people who get you in and forgot about you. Im very happy with Westlake Vistas!

My fiancé and I moved to Austin a couple of years ago and searched high and low for a great place to start in our new town. We were just driving around when we noticed the beautiful “castle on the hill” and knew that they were the perfect fit. Two years later, I have nothing but great things to say.. never had any problems. They went under new management several months ago and the sweet woman has made so many great changes! All the staff are very professional and responsive. The views are beautiful in a very quiet area. Great place for anyone!

Our apartment flooded and the manager (Lisa) has bent over backwards to get our place back to normal. Brandon is our Maintenance Supervisor and he has been exactly awesome! He is responsive to requests, very customer service oriented, and professional. I dont know if the owners of the complex read these reviews but if they do: I believe raises are in order.

If youre looking for a quite, beautiful, and conveniently located place to live, Westlake Vistas is the place you should call home.I moved here two weeks ago and absolutely love it! This is my third rental and I owned a home for ten years prior to renting here. So, I was meticulous in researching and visiting other properties to ensure that I was moving to a place where I felt comfortable.There are a few negative reviews, which in all candor, made me a little skeptical at first. But, if you come tour the property, you will see for yourself that this is an outstanding place to live.The entire staff has been spectacular--theyre responsive, professional, and truly want you to enjoy living here (thank you to Jess, Talia, and Becky ).Location is great! It typically takes me 30-35 minutes in rush hour to get to my parking garage at 600 Congress Ave. Theres an HEB, Walgreens, and CVS about 5 minutes up 2222 toward 620. You also have the Domain, Arboretum, and Barton Creek Square, which are all easily accessible.My favorite part of the property so far is the gym--although the view is a close second. All the equipment is brand new and includes everything that you need to get a solid workout. Ive been there 8 times and it hasnt been crowded, yet.If anyone has any questions about living here, please leave a comment to my review and Ill get back to you.

Love love love.When the latest property owner/manager took over, all the problems from the prior management crew have been fixed or are in progress of getting there. We had a great lease-renewal experience and... the dog park. YES, DOG PARK!!! .... is awesome.When Connor Group took over, I told Becky how we NEED green space for the dogs.. something fenced-in, something dog-friendly.. she listened. They put in a dog park with astroturf, obstacle course, poop-station, and it is AMAZING.West Lake Vistas is easily the nicest place to live in Austin, west of 360.Update!! Feb 18 2017!!I want to amend my review with even more good feedback. Today Jess , Becky and team outdid themselves by hosting that was probably the most amazing grand opening of the dog park. Yes its been open before today but today was the official grand opening. There were a good bunch of people there, and an even better group of puppies. What a great place to live. You can tell the staff here really cares about making things great for residents.

When the Connor group took over this last year, attitudes and action on the property changed all for the better.Lisa and her team are amazing. They are considerate in their way of taking care of business. Primarily, they listen to you, then act very quickly. This team is reactionary. The history I have seen getting things done at the Vistas was a little less than I expected at times but Lisa and team has turned this great property to again the great property I moved too.During the ice age, they responded as well as could be expected. their team worked well with the city to get water and electricity back on to the residents. The Team kept their eyes on the ball and quickly as possible resolved the issues.Lisa and team restarted the social gatherings for the residents which had been lost along the way. The Vistas have a nice comfortable community feel to go along with spectacular view from most apartments. I happen to live on the B floor or Basement or Bar floor. We all have a sense of humor. Even my apartment has a spectacular hill county view.Needless to say I am very pleased to live here and interact with a great management team..

West Lake Vistas provides unique value in all of Austin.. It could have been named: The View. I would say the view and quiet nature preserve are totally worth the rent. But i must say.. i love other amenities like covered parking, just nine steps from my door at the top of the world. I adore the kitchen and wood style floors, the spacious bath. Theres no doubt that West Lake Vistas provides premier value. The management staff has been terrifically friendly and helpful to complete my total living experience. I love having coffee on my balcony and watching the morning humming birds..

Truly a beautiful complex with an amazing staff! Ownership changed to The Connor Group at Westlake Vistas half way during my lease (6/16-6/17). They brought a stellar management staff who diligently worked to establish and maintain great relationship with their tenants. They are communicative, solution-oriented, attentive, helpful, and very quick to deal with any needed repair issues or problems. One of the best touches to the complex has been the addition of the Puppy Park. Its been a great way to socialize for both tenants and pets! There are sweeping views from the community areas including an outdoor kitchen and updated gym and some trails off building One with a seasonal waterfall. Gated access creates a safe environment, and there are multiple swimming pools and recreational areas. Thanks so much for making my first place in Austin feel like home! :)

I’m one to shop around on everything I buy ESPECIALLY where I am going to LIVE. I toured a LOT of apartments in Austin and finally RAN into West Lake Vistas. Torey did an amazing job at touring me the facility introducing me to a lot of the staff and even the maintenance people! Everyone there was super friendly and good to be around. Never would I trade THE VIEW OF THIS PLACE!!!! I will be a resident of West Lake Vistas for a very long time. Prices are good, sky lounge is breathe taking, and my neighbors are amazing. MUST SEE.

My husband and I have lived here for 2 years and have just resigned our lease for a 3rd year!Management is always very responsive and helpful and Brandon (property handyman) is always so reliable and professional! My husband and I just put in a service request a few hours ago (on a Friday afternoon and nothing urgent) and within an hour or two Brandon was fixing all of our little issues (closet door not staying shut, microwave light out, etc.). Brandon’s professionalism and attention to detail and quick turn around is a big reason my husband and I decided to resign our lease!That and our wonderful view, high ceiling, naturally sun lit bedroom and the wonderful attention all of West Lake’s staff always provides!You really can’t find an apartment complex much better than this!

Amazing staff, I am impressed with the level of professionalism of the front desk and maintenance team. The complex is in the middle of a natural reserve, it feels fresh and peaceful. The apartments interiors are in great condition. The complex is not new and there is remodeling going around, but overall most things work. There are enough parking spaces, though they are quite small.

This new staff has made a lot of necessary changes and improvements, so I’ll be staying here for the foreseeable future!

This place is amazing! Ive had really bad experiences with apartments in the past, but this place has been the opposite of all other complexes. The views, the parking garage set up, the pools, the location and the staff make this the best apartment complex in the city. To be honest, I moved in a couple months before a big change (back when it was called the Alexan Vistas), and the staff was terrible...so I thought this place was going to be just like all of the others. But, to my absolute delight, the complex was bought by a new company and they brought in a completely new staff. They are absolutely top notch. They actually care that we, as residents, enjoy our time at Westlake Vistas and really take pride in their work. Keep it up!

We’ve lived here for a little over a month now and I will admit that we was a bit nervous due to the reviews (either really great or really bad), but we were so stoked about the view from our apartment that we took the plunge anyway and it’s been GREAT!!!The move in fees were a little high, but in the end we actually ended up appreciating it because between that and the thourough background/credit check we experienced, it felt like we would be in good company.The place is very pet friendly and neighbors have been amazingly hospitable. It is awesome to pull up to your floor in a parking garage and not have to run through the rain with your groceries too! We have dealt with both Joseph and Meagan in the office and they have been so welcoming and helpful with everything that we’ve needed since we moved in.The only reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’m not a fan of pulling up and seeing the dumpsters since they aren’t in any sort of enclosure and they are always full, and because we’ve had a couple of issues with packages so far (although we aren’t sure if it’s on the apartment side or USPS).Overall we’re extremely happy with our decision and love the apartment!

The rent is reasonable for what is offered- valet trash, dog park, nice pools, supportive office staff, great gym, clean spaces, and beautiful views.

We’ve had quite a few issues in the past year and a half of living here, but they’ve finally put a good team back into the office. We tried having a conversation about upgrading our unit back in Summer and after two weeks of talking, nothing came out of it. We were actually quite shocked at how rude we were treated for wanting to quite literally give them more money for a better unit. Last month we decided to try and talk to someone again as the staff has since changed and WOW what a difference! We worked with Joseph and not only did he answer all of our questions and find us a unit we’re excited about, but he did it in a day! It’s great to have staff in here that really know what they’re doing again. Things are finally getting fixed and cleaned up as well. We’re very excited to continue living in these apartments, as they are super beautiful! Make sure you ask for Joseph if you’re considering moving here!

Alex was absolutely amazing with helping me find the perfect apartment! She was flexible and upfront with me. Communication has been slower now that I am moved in, but hoping its just a rough patch. Overall the community is nice, upkeep could be better.

I highly recommend Westlake Vistas apartments, or as my kids call it the castle on the hill! Our stay there was punctuated by the friendly and accommodating office staff. They were always there whenever we needed them. One young lady, Miss Becky, stood out in particular. She was always professional, understanding, and attentive. She was confident and focused and we could always trust her to find resolution for any of our problems!! Highly recommend! They treat you like family and it quickly becomes your home!

To follow up on my initial review - living at Westlake Vistas has been great. The leasing office and staff are friendly and helpful. Haley has been a gem from the beginning, and even when it was time to relocate for my job she helped me find great renters and supported the transition all along the way. I know Im not the only renter, but Westlake Vistas makes you feel like you are MORE than a number. Even when we had the Snowmageddon 2021 they did a great job communicating 1-2 times a day with status updates, repairs in progress, and other tenants that were helping out offering blankets, food, etc. That is truly unique community! He did a fabulous job but more importantly than the work he did, it was his professionalism that really impressed me. Super nice, efficient and a very polite young man. I asked him what he used to do before this and he said he was a Marine. When he finished he shook my hand and said thanks for being a resident here. West lake Vistas has an incredible employee. I’ve lived here since May of 2019 and overall I’ve had a great experience.That’s not to say that everything has been absolutely perfect. I’ve had a few disputes with the leasing office over billing issues and I’m still peeved that we HAVE to pay for an internet and cable bundle. Before that was implemented, we had better internet at a lower price. I lost that battle unfortunately. If I’m being honest, all of my issues occurred when there was a certain management handling the office.When we moved in, we had Maegan and some others from Nashville. They were amazing. No complaints whatsoever. Then the new team came in. Thankfully it seems like they’re gone. ShaKera has stepped in and since then she has accommodated my every need. She gets things done in a timely manner and with a smile on her face. She’s the reason I feel happy about living here again.Other than management, everything else is great. Amenities are as advertised, views are beautiful, apartments have high ceilings (which I love), ground units have personal yards (great for dogs), maintenance requests get completed in good time, and almost everyone I’ve met has been friendly and helpful.I would recommend taking a look at this place!

Ill preface this review by noting that I have lived at this property for one week.With that said, I have been impressed with everything so far.Pros: The finish out of the units is great -- quality build with solid materials and some nice touches (vaulted ceilings, planked laminate (hardwood), moldings, etc. I have never heard my neighbors. The views from my apartment are stunning - living here has changed how I feel about being at home. Watching sunsets, storms roll in or just taking in your surroundings never gets old when youre ~500+ feet above the ground. The grounds are well kept and the amenities like multiple pools, sky lounge, etc. are great. Jennifer and Gina have both been helpful.Cons: Parking spots are TINY and I drive a small car, maintenance doesnt seem as responsive as other properties Ive lived at. Units can get very pricey based on location/view and availability. Also, dont plan to walk ANYWHERE when you live here. :)

Ive lived here for 5 months, and the new ownership and management are both awesome. The property is beautiful and well-kept. The phone app makes paying rent and entering maintenance requests very simple. Maintenance turns over requests quickly and management is great at communication. They just recently created a little fenced dog park. Parking is conveniently even with each floor, and there is plenty of it.

This is an updated review. In October 2018, the property management team was replaced. The new team has been wonderful! Maegan contacted me and communicated how they were going to address all concerns, and even did a walk through of my apartment to schedule flooring renovations.Im impressed with this managements follow up and the speed at which they respond to any concerns. Its obvious that they are a veteran team.There are still some issues with pet waste, but the property is doing a good job at maintaing the grounds. I do recommend living here!

This place is a dream come true. The apartment is big and spacious with high ceiling and a full wall of windows that look out onto spectacular hill sides. There is lots of natural light. The office and maintenance staff incredibly are friendly, helpful and reliable. Being next to a nature preserve we have amazing view of he stars from our balcony. The kitchen is very functional and a joy to cook in with large wrap around counter tops with a clear view out the windows. The deep tubs and in apartment laundry make this such a comfortable home. The grounds and pools are emaculate and make it feel like we are living on a resort tucked away in the mountains. The parking garage in the center of the buildings is quite possibly the best part since I get to park right by the front door of my 3rd story apartment and I never have to take any stairs which was something I was dreading about living in an apartment. With many different floor plans Becky was able to find us the perfect apartment to meet our needs and stay within budget. She really took her time with us and listened to our wants. Moving across country was a little nerve racking but Becky, Jess and Kristen made it a breeze as they took the time to get us all the information we needed to get aquatinted things in TX. When we left our short visit I felt very comfortable and confident that we would have a very smooth transition 3 months later to move into an apartment we hadnt actually even seen. I trusted the staff completely and they delivered a perfect apartment that was exactly what we were expecting. The layout of the apartment is great with spacious rooms and huge walk in closets. The gym is all new with a wide range of modern equipment for every kind of work out. It has a large enclosed yoga studio equipped with on demand video training system so I never feel the need to pay for classes. It is very quite here yet I dont feel like I have to worry about bothering someone if I want to play some music. All of the residence are so welcoming I feel like we have been friends for years. I really couldnt ask for anything more.

Ive worked in Customer Service for over 20 years, and when shopping for apartments, I equally weigh quality of living along with the level of customer service I receive from the Leasing Office and Property Management company. Apartment shopping in Austin is a HUGE undertaking, because there are SO many complexes to choose from. However, I narrowed my search down to about 20 complexes and thought, well, there go my weekends for the next couple of months to painstakingly tour all of these. I started touring in no particular order, and everything I saw was BLAH. Nothing stood out. The leasing agents were like zombies, just going through the motions of their day, and it was almost as if I was inconveniencing them by wanting information. Thankfully for me, I called West Lake Vistas to schedule a tour. I was immediately blown away with how friendly and knowledgeable Maegan was over the phone. When I came in to tour, ! knew right away that this was the perfect new home! The amenities are awesome, the views are STUNNING, and its a great location! Yall, I still had SIX months on my existing lease. I started packing THAT DAY, I was so excited. I worked closely with Jen, and we got the lease finalized and she made sure I had everything I needed to have a smooth move. Now, here we are, in the midst of a global pandemic, and Im moving. Due to COVID-19 concerns, Ive been working with Haley, who is just a rockstar. I was able to tour my apartment before move in to take measurements so I could shop online and get things ordered beforehand. I upped my move date. She updated the lease with lightning speed. She sent me a text to tell me how excited she was for my move. Like cmon, that level of customer service is so rare these days. So, long story short, if youre looking for a new home in Northwest Austin, do yourself a favor and tour West Lake Vistas first!

We moved to West Lake Vistas a couple months before the Conner Group took over the property. As soon as they took over, we noticed that a lot of improvements were going in. They built a awesome dog park down by the mailboxes that includes different agility equipment for the dogs! This was great for us, since before they came in, we had to walk our dog around our building on a leash since there wasnt a fenced in area she could really run free. The whole property is very pet friendly and a lot of residents have dogs, so the addition of a dog park has been a really nice place to get together with our neighbors and let the dogs run around to get their energy out at the end of the workday.They also started updating some units with new appliances AND they included washers and dryers in some units (which previously were not included). The property looked updated and clean before, but with the new updates and the cleaning theyve done, it definitely feels fresh and newer. I believe the property is about 10 years old, but it definitely does not feel old in any way. The maintenance staff is always quick at responding to our requests and addressing our complaints. I once put in a maintenance request in the morning and the guy was in our apartment fixing the appliance that afternoon. Another incident we had involved ordering a new part, but they were installing it in our apartment as soon as the part was delivered. We havent had a problem go unaddressed.The common areas are always kept very clean. The pools are great! (There are three and they are all perfect for the summer heat) We live in building one, which has its own pool and community room so you dont have to go up top to reap the benefits of these amenities. The gym is also a great feature of this property. The treadmills face out on the hill, so you have an amazing view if you dont want to watch the tvs that are built into the cardio equipment. There is also plenty of equipment for the size of the property; Ive never had to wait to use anything. Also, they just repainted the gym, and it looks so much cleaner/ put together now. The gym also includes a whole room with a TV programed with different workout plans. Ive never used this feature, but I have used the room for my own workouts, which has been nice for privacy purposes. The Sky Lounge is also a great amenity at West Lake Vistas; theyve added a ton of TVs and there is a wet bar as well, which makes it a great place to host a little get together while also being able to watch the games.The location of this property speaks for itself. Its set up high in the hill country with amazing views; we live in building one and love the views of the hillside. Also, HEB is just six minutes up the hill!The new staff has always been super friendly and amazingly accommodating. When we first moved to West Lake Vistas (while it was Alexan Vistas), we moved into a beautiful one bedroom/ one and a half bath units. When it came time to release, we decided that we would prefer a smaller unit (since we never really used the second bathroom or the extra space around the second bathroom/office type area) and was looking around throughout the area comparing different prices/unit layouts/amenities. After looking around and talking to Becky and Bonnie, they found us a perfect unit just down the hall from our current unit. This one bedroom was the perfect size that would fit all of our furniture perfectly. Becky and Bonnie were so helpful with our move and the new unit feels more moved in and comfortable than our other unit did. This unit has all new stainless steal appliances, new floors, and comes with a washer and dryer (which we were previously renting). Overall, the staff worked with us to make sure we got a great deal by staying and we are so happy with our new unit!Additionally, just last week they hosted a resident appreciation event and told us even more great things are coming. We are so happy here and cant wait to see what else they have in store for the property/residents.

Pat works maintenance here and also does wonders. We had a problem with one of our back rooms not cooling properly, so Pat installed a device that redirects airflow in our air ducts and now the room cools perfectly! Definitely would recommend moving here.

You know that feeling when youre new to a city and have to find a place to live and its terrifying and stressful and also you dont have to place to live? Getting into West Lake Vistas was neither of those things.I gotta say: not only do I just adore the one-bedroom I ended up with here (and that VIEW). Nice big open space, very well-maintained and kept, big ol vaulted ceilings, and wonderful folks. And if anything comes up, the office and maintenance staff seem to be able to get it all squared away within 24 hours.But back to the terrifying bit about finding a place — this wasnt terrifying at all. Ive never had a better experience working with the management/sales staff. Friendly, incredibly responsive and helpful, got my application turned around fast and I was able to move in almost immediately. Its wonderful. In particular: make sure you talk to and work with Joseph; hes a wonderful and friendly guy that makes finding a new place so much less, you know, terrifying and stressful.

She took her time to go over details with us, show us which unit wed be living in, and allowed us the opportunity to check out an unit!! It worked out that the unit was available right before anyone occupied it!! Haley was so kind and worked with us in such a crunch! I was overwhelmed with the housing process and it was a fresh of breath air meeting Haley and walking through the details with her !!! I don’t usually write reviews, but after searching and viewing multiple apartment complexes, this one stood out the most to me. Jess took the time to ask what was important to me, such as safety, security, gated community, management responsiveness, price factor, the cleanliness of the apartment and apartment complex.Jess showed me around all the amenities it offered, and what stood out to me was it has a decent size club house on 2nd floor above the leasing office which has a more private feel (compared to other ones in room area as leasing office), both club houses with billiard tables, TV’s, and kitchen area. I was also impressed with the SkyLounge area with wet bar and 6 Led TVs, it also has a decent size gym with dumb bells and free weights.The rent in price was more than I was then I was looking to initially spend, but considering what it offered, the discount they gave us, we were willing to make it work.I moved here 3 weeks ago and my expectations are usually high, these apartments still have some flaws and some things management should work on or maintain a bit better, which I will be communicating to. But unless if it is brand new, no apartment complex is going perfect.Again compared to other apartment amenities, the location, gym, covered parking & W/D included, views, and etc, these ones stood out the most to me. I may provide an update as time goes by.

Haley in the leasing office has been an absolute angel. From the time I walked in to the time I got my keys, she made my transition into the complex so easy, and really made me feel at home. The views and amenities here are unreal, and I love my floor plan. I can’t wait to spend time in the sky lounge!

We love it here! During the winter storm in feb 2021 we lost our old apartment due to water damage and Hayley and the rest of the team here were so accommodating. They got us moved in ASAP and just like that we had a new place to call home. Hayley made the process so easy and welcoming. Highly recommend!

There have been so many wonderful experiences with each and every amazing lady in the downstairs leasing office. Not only are they friendly, eager to help in every situation, but they are always very caring and compasionate. I had an injury for several years back that has recently started to flare up again. The ladies downstairs quickly came to help when I was in a great deal of pain and scared. I have lived here since April of 2013. In all of the time I have lived here, there have been two other owners/managements. None even remotely compared to the amazing team now with the new and beyond improved West Lake Vistas crew. I can not forget, Patrick the head of maintenance, another amazing part of your team.

The amount of work this team has put into making this an exceptional place to live is difficult to imagine. I recently moved from another city to Austin. It was very short notice and I did not have a lot of time to find a great place. But Briley was so accommodating to my needs, virtually walking me through apartments, helping me with some pretty hard decisions about moving but ultimately she made this move smoother than any other. Briley is always cheerful and helpful. I had many stressful moments and she literally scraped me off the ceiling LOL I’m very thankful for meeting her. This is a very quiet, beautiful place to live

Maintenance here at Westlake vistas has always been very responsive. Much more than other apartments I’ve lived at. Brandan, the maintenance guy, is very hard and efficient worker. Gets the job done. Truly amazing apartment complex with the best views in Austin. (Those hills are beautiful). Whenever, I had an issue, maintenance was on it right away, and I sincerely appreciate all the help and welcoming nature of the leasing agents. Great staff, apartment and maintenance! Love the layout of my apartment and had little to no troubles with moving in. Great place to live, especially if you work in the area. Amazing Texas Hill Country Views! Jester Hill across RR222 is great for exercise. The office staff is responsive and accommodating. Ask for Melaine, shes awesome. The maintenance staff does a great job of keeping the place true to form. And the buildings and amenities are impeccably maintained.

I have lived here for two years and continue to be impressed by the staff as well as the property. They have rules and they are in place to keep the property looking good. The garbage service is awesome, they gym is nice and the pool is great. Very quiet property with security gate. I highly recommend checking it out. I plan to stay for a while.

I am currently a resident at Westlake and recently had an issue with my air conditioning unit. I called maintenance and within the next hour Pat arrived. Not only was he very kind but also extremely efficient. He was in-and-out within the hour and did not leave a mess, which was kind as I have had issues with previous maintenance workers (at a different complex) dirtying my apartment after a visit. That said, my A/C unit no longer leaks and I am one happy tenant. 5 stars!

Gorgeous property with spectacular views. Fitness center is well equipped and access is 24/7, free coffee after 10am in the beautiful clubhouse, 2 pools, outdoor barbque pits, trash valet pick up, 24 hour access to the business center, sky lounge has breathtaking views, new dog park, beautiful views of Austins hills from almost any spot on the property. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. Maintenance responds well to requests. The property is conveniently situated across the street from a daycare, art studio, dentist, nail salon, sports bar, coffee house, emergency vet, convenience store, dry cleaner, pizza place, sandwich place, and new Asian cuisine restaurant. There is a light at the entrance of the property making it easy to travel down 2222 to 360 or 620.

This is our second year living here and we love it. After our first year here, we transferred to a bigger apartment one building over and its worked out great. The view is breathtaking and coming home feels really good. Management is really on top of their game and if you need anything, they are quick to respond. Melaine is the best!! The maintance crew are the same group of guys since year one, so its nice to see a familiar face if you need anything. Only good things to say:)

I would recommend living at West Lake Vistas if you’re looking for a scenic location, while still being close to central Austin. I loved my time in this complex for many reasons : waking up to a view of the trees every day , the responsiveness of the staff to go above and beyond and the hiking trails! Been here going on 2 years and now under the 3rd management company (perviously Alexan Vistas). While it took them a while to get running, the new management group is hands down the best. They are attentive and responsive, and theyre doing a great job fixing up and adding to the place (dog park, new lighting, better recycling). Beautiful area, only complaint is residents who feel like its not their responsibility to pick up after their pets (specifically building 1); as a dog owner myself, I dont understand how you dont pick up after your pet.

This is my first apartment without any roommates and I can honestly say that this place is the best I could have gotten for the price! The view is wonderful and management is always on top of everything. Any maintanence concerns have been swiftly dealt with and the location is perfect, putting me only 10 minutes from work. I’ve been here for just over a month now and feel like I’ll be here until I can afford to buy my house.Tip for anyone moving in, do not go with AT&T, Spectrum offers much faster internet for the same price! AT&T offered me $60 a month for 25 Mb/s down and Spectrum, at least at the time of writing this, offered $55 for 400 Mb/s down.

After several years of poor management, empty promises, and unsatisfactory conditions the new and current staff , especially Joseph, have demonstrated a professional and caring attitude towards Westlake Vistas. There are obvious improvements regarding trash and recycling pickup. Response time for maintenance issues has been great. Most importantly, promises made have been promises kept. Overall conditions have improved dramatically . Kudos!!

Now that I’ve lived here for about a year, I feel like I can write a pretty accurate review of this place. I was really unhappy with the last apartment I was living in, and by the time my lease was up I was sooo ready to be out of there lol. Luckily I found this place through a leasing agency and I’ll just say that I am WAY better off, and so happy here! Hands down my favorite thing has to be the views, you’re surrounded by trees and the hill country, and you can see it all from your windows and every time you step outside. It just makes living here freaking peaceful, and my dog-walks more enjoyable. I’m a freelancer, so I work from home, and constantly take advantage of the free WiFi at the pool and there are 3 pools, so if there’s a crowd I can just move to another one, haha. There’s also door to door trash pickup which I had heard about before but never experienced at any of my old apartments, and it’s actually a lot nicer and more convenient than you would think if you haven’t had that service available before. Also the staff and neighbors that I’ve met have all been super friendly, so that’s always a plus! Anyway, if you’re looking for somewhere nice and peaceful, I would DEFINITELY consider Westlake Vistas, they totally changed my view of apartment living. :)

Brand New resident and I cant say enough about my experience. THE WHOLE STAFF is top notch. Jessica, Jess, and the Bulldog herself Becky made me feel like I have known them my whole life...they are people you would want to get a drink with lol. They kept fighting to find me the perfect apartment in my price range and wouldnt stop til they found a match. Jess even went out of her way to send me a video of the view of an apartment that she didnt get to show me while I was on the property. As for the complex its self...WOW, you cant and wont find a better view in Austin. Every day feels like you are on vacation. Why live anywhere else?

Hola everyone, Few go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Sam is one of those people that have done so for my girlfriend and I numerous times since moving to West Lake Vistas amongst Covid outbreak. I had to leave a second review after Sam was generous enough to use his personal vehicle to transport my new sectional pieces to my new apartment. These were definitely 100+ pound boxes which were left by UPS NO WHERE NEAR MY APARTMENT. We definitely don’t regret moving to West Lake Vistas.
