    Im currently living at HillTop and I am loving it! So much so that I resigned for next year as well! The office staff and maintenance have been wonderful and are quick with their responses, and I love the amenities around the building (the study lounges are my personal favorite; the windows make studying worth it). Public areas are well-maintained and clean; when I first moved in, I was welcomed with gorgeous furniture in a clean space!! I recommend HillTop to anyone looking for a stress-free living community where you can focus on your studies/life.

    Living at HillTop Apartments has been such a great experience! The location is unbeatable—just an eight-minute walk to campus and close to all my favorite spots like Cain & Abel’s and Pluckers. The amenities make everyday life so convenient, from the fitness center and study lounges on every floor to the amazing pool deck with a Jumbotron and grilling area. My apartment is fully furnished with modern finishes, and having a washer and dryer in-unit is such a time-saver. Parking in the underground garage is super secure, though spots fill up quickly, so I recommend grabbing one early. Overall, it’s been the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and community, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

    Im a current hilltop resident and will be renewing next year! It is very clean and well-kept, maintenance is amazing, and the rooms are generally pretty large. Very nice gym and lots of study spaces!!

    The staff are great to work with and helpful and the apartments are nice. Had a tour with Savannah, she was very friendly and knowledgable. The floorplan is great with study areas spread around and is close to campus, restaurants, stores, etc.

    I lived at Hilltop for three years (from my sophomore year until now that I’m graduating) and I must say that I had such an amazing time living here. The rooms and amenities are so nice and well designed and are at a price that is much cheaper than most of the luxury/nicer apartments in west campus (although the apartment prices have been steadily increasing so that might not be the case soon). Everyone in the staff, management, maintenance, and security have been so kind and helpful throughout the years. The only con that I can say about living here would be the somewhat thin walls but they really aren’t that bad, especially if you and your roommates have a similar sleep schedule. Overall, it was such a blessing to live here and I would highly recommend!

    UPDATEDSteve, Brayden and the entire front office people are so professional, thoughtful and resident centered. ❤️ They respond so quickly to emails and calls. They make using the portal easy, too. They send emails that give good and helpful information.The property is stunning. 💝 Steve and his crew Rusty and Daniel do an amazing job with the upkeep. Plus they are so fast to respond to any maintenance requests.Parking is tight but plentiful for those with a car. They have secured bike storage. 🚲 The building is operated by fobs so it is very secure.The mailroom and mailboxes are secure. 📫📦💌There is a great trash and a recycling ♻️ shoot on each of the eight floors.And, they are pet friendly. 🐈‍⬛There is an Orange Market literally across the street and one a block over. There is an HEB, Target, Best Buy, At Home, Home Depot and Hobby Lobby closer than 10 miles away. The students love insomnia cookies 🍪, Smoothie King and Starbucks ☕️ all in walking distance. Also just a few blocks away is the actual post office and a Shell gas station. ⛽️ This property is very centrally located.This is the place to be. Fast walk to campus. Students feel loved and safe here. ALL the staff go out of their way to make a connection with students. Your student will love it here. 🧡🤍🧡I sincerely appreciate the staff!! My kiddo would not live anywhere else.

    As a tenant who chose to renew this year at HillTop its safe to say that I love it. Management is kind and efficient, maintenance is quick and courteous, and the overall building is always in pristine condition. For prices that are incomparable to other luxury apartments in west campus, Hilltop feels like a luxury apartment. Thank you to hilltop for allowing me to directly transfer apartments for FREE, something that wouldve cost me upwards of 300 dollars at any other apartment on west campus. Love Hilltop and their office management and employees are always willing to help in any way they can.

    A lot of the reviews on here are definitely paid reviews, so here is my experience from a genuine resident. I stayed in a 4x4 at HillTop from 2021-2022.Pros:• Modernish interior. The furniture is somewhat contemporary looking.• The bed is fairly large and comfortable. Its almost as big as a queen-sized mattress i think.• Room sizes vary, but I had the biggest room in my apartment with an attached bath. All roommates pay the same rate, so if you know your roommates beforehand, you can discuss which room you want.• Residents are generally pretty nice and not too loud. Its not filled with frat/sorority kids like some other West Campus apartments.• Maintenance was actually pretty quick, surprisingly. Whenever I submitted a request, it was usually addressed within the next day or two.• The gym is above-average for an apartment. Its got a decent variety of workout machines.• Theres a free printer in the study lounge which was super handy.• The filtered water bottle filler in the lobby was super underrated. Used it everyday.• The 642 West Campus bus stop is like a two minute walk down the street.• Their community rewards thingy was also nice because it let you earn free e- gift cards.• Generally speaking, management was fine. Didnt really encounter any issues with them.Cons:• Price for the distance. HillTop was definitely about a solid 10 minute walk to campus. You get used to the walk pretty quickly, though. Its just they are charging the same rates as other West Campus apartments that are much closer to campus. However, if you sign your lease in the spring or summer time, they will have a lot of discounts off the rent (same goes for other apartments). We signed our lease in late July and managed to secure the last fully vacant 4x4 for $950/mo. Still kinda pricey, but it was $300 off the rent. Utilities ended up being about $25-35/mo on top of that.• The internet is included in the rent cost, but its your classic MyCampusNet ISP. It works fine for the most part, but occasionally has its moments. I do a lot of cloud gaming and basically had to only play in 720p quality because the network was pretty congested.• Noise was another annoying factor in the apartment. The walls are pretty thin and theres a decent gap under the bedroom doors. You can hear your roommates talking or walking around pretty clearly, even from a couple rooms away. The trash truck also comes right in the side-alley almost every day at like 5 or 6 in the morning, and the noise definitely woke me up every time.• Sometimes, if you and your roommate are showering at the same time or if they just finished their shower, the water might be cold.• The fire alarm went off at least like 2-3 times a month to the point that residents just stopped evacuating because it was always an issue with someone burning their food.• Not really a big deal, but I just have to say that their marketing emails were so cringe lolOverall, I did enjoy staying at HillTop. If youre able to get a good rate, I would still recommend the apartment despite its cons.

    Hilltop was such a great first apartment!!! The facilities was always kept so clean and tidy (I walked my dog everyday at 6:30am and always saw the cleaning staff right at work). The amenities at hilltop are top tier too!! The pool and gym were always ready to enjoy never anything being shut down for long periods of time unless like a pipe bursted. The room, bathrooms, and kitchen have to be one of the biggest and best in west campus the apartment feels so spacious even if you are living with roommates. Maintenace was the best they always came within 3days of putting in an order. What I enjoyed most about Hilltop was the safety feature of a security guard on weekends it helped make it feel secure especially when the offices were not open. Also the staff here tries to make a community by putting on community events like arts and crafts or just feeding students in general. If you’re looking to have a great living experience choose hilltop!!! The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because I couldn’t really call people from my room but I don’t know if that’s Hilltops fault for WiFi or my phone. Lastly there’s so many openings and exists to hilltop it made it easier for me and my dog to enter the facilities :)

Management and staff have very good communication. Rusty and Dan are like Batman and Robin - they can and will do anything. Good price on housing too

    Hilltops been my college apartment complex for the past 2 years (thanks to their great renewal special) and Im so happy to have chosen it! Despite it being a bit further away from campus, Ive come to love the location. The nice walks to campus have become a morning-favorite routine, and if Im ever inclined to I can always take the bus thanks to the 2 nearby bus stops on our street. Im also a frequent user of the amenities here, which are always really clean & kept up to date! The management here is very very responsive, which I really appreciated, and the team is always happy to help (not to mention kind, especially the janitorial ladies and maintenance crew that Ive had conversations with from time to time). The only downside is that my unit had a little problem when we first moved in but Steve was able to meet with us and offer us his continuous aid, which resolved our issue! Overall Im really grateful to have called this place my college home :)

    I have been living here for 3 years already and recently decided to renew my lease once again! I never had any major problems while living here. Maintenance has always been quick to come to solve whatever issue I may have and the staff in general have been very responsive! I get SMART housing so my place is really affordable compared to other apartments in West Campus. The apartment also comes fully furnished and I was so glad that I didn’t have to move in furniture. Overall, I would recommend staying here!

    This is my second year here at hilltop, and I have nothing but good reviews. The management and staff have always been around and come with a positive attitude when it comes to addressing my concerns. Not only are they quick to respond and address my needs, but they are also pet friendly, which was a huge plus considering the higher fees of having a pet at other apartments. The hallways and amenities are always super clean and welcoming. There are spacious study rooms and many nooks in the apartment to find a comfortable space to wind down. There is a complimentary coffee bar that is stocked 24/7 (No other apartment has been as nice for free) as well as a flavored water station. In units are updated and modern, with spacious rooms and big windows which are a must in an apartment!!

    Toured back in September and was pleasantly surprised with everything. The rooms are spacious and the units have lots of natural lighting. The staff is incredibly nice (and always picks the phone up to answer one of my numerous questions), the complex is very clean and quiet, and Ive met tenants who have nothing but positive things to say about Hilltop.

    Ive lived in a 4x4 at HillTop for my sophomore and junior years, and have resigned for senior year as well. My experience over the 1.5 years Ive lived here so far has been great. Management and maintenance staff were kind and responsive. Study spots in the apartment are nice and quiet, but can occasionally be crowded since theyre a little small. Gym is objectively decent, but for anyone who seriously works out it might be a little sparse. Rooms are large and the provided furniture is nice and comfortable. The one real complaint I have is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear anything that goes on inside your apartment and sometimes outside if you get an exterior facing unit. Overall this is definitely one of the better complexes in West Campus and I would definitely recommend it.

    I’ve lived at several different student housing properties and honestly feel that HillTop is a great property to live at. There’s a ton of study spaces and the pool deck is so nice for relaxing after a long day of class. The office staff has also been incredibly friendly and helpful during all of my interactions with them. I would definitely recommend this place!

    Great gym and pool! However the security of the apartment lacks a lot. Maintenance was fast even if matter was not urgent. The folks of the office were available easily. Cleaning staff made sure the rooms were clean. Rooms were dirty when one moved in.

    Literally such a nice apartment. I do not live there but my sister does. It is always so clean and never messy compared to other apartments in West Campus. It is also a little aways from the hustle and bustle of the more party and lively areas but still super close to everything. A small grocery mart, a coffee shop that doubles as a bar, a gas station, and Caine and Ables are all so close by and less than a 5 minute walk away. The amenities, cleanliness, and neighborhood area make this apartment definitely worth considering

    I lost a very very sentimental and very expensive bracelet and even offered a 500 dollar reward for it back. Hilltop manager, Steve, called me to return it and didn’t even ask for anything in return. Place of honor and good cost living in a fun, great location. 6/5 stars.

    This is my second year living here and its been a great experience. The units are super spacious with great appliances and the complex has multiple study rooms that are three times the size of anything Ive seen in west campus. With smart housing I was able to get really good rates, and the couple of times Ive had to call maintenence theyve always come fast. Highly recommend!

    HillTop is a beautiful safe apartment complex and a great place to live. It is pet friendly & conveniently has trash/recycling shoots on every floor. The numerous floor plan options make it perfect for friends or single occupancy. The location is close to UT and all the nearby shops. The office staff are professional and respond quickly to emails. During the recent ice storm, the leasing team sent out numerous emails & social media post to keep residents informed. The staff really care about the residents & the cleanliness of the amenities & building.My favorite are the thoughtful resident events & I can tell a lot of planning was involved to make them special. Looking forward to another great year at HillTop.

    My daughter is attending UT and we found Hilltop after searching the rest of the other apartments and someone recommended Hilltop. The tour was fabulous with an experience staff member giving the tour. All of our questions were answered. The room was clean and spacey with our own bathroom. Thank you, she needs her own bathroom. No problems with management, so sweet. All the amenities that we were looking for are there and more! I have had such a great experience with Hilltop Austin. Would definitely recommend!!!

    Office team are good people. Steve goes out of his way to accommodate folks; Braedon has an amazing energy about him as he ensures all residents feel welcomed and taken care of. I’ve had to bother all of these folks and the maintenance team more than I wished to with maintenance requests (not fun for me) and other things , but they’ve always been responsive and receptive. If you’re looking to live near the heart of the city, this is the place for you. During the cold storm/freeze in winter, the Hilltop team supplied clean drinking water to all the residents and showed up every day to hold space for the community. Only complaint I have is the periodic utility issues in my apartment, leading me to submit a ridiculous amount of maintenance requests (not fun for me). They respond fast though, and usually see to it that the problem will be fixed immediately.

    I highly recommend HillTop for students! Overall the staff is great, they are professional and proficient. Help and assistance was readily available and very responsive. The area is nice and the apartment complex was clean. I do spend a lot of my time in the gym, so I’m thankful that it was well equipped. I enjoyed my stay with HillTop very much!

    My daughter has been at Hilltop Austin, Texas since 2021. I did the research with prices and all the apartments were about the same for the Austin area. Yes others are cheaper but missing certain things we were looking for. Hilltop satisfied them all! Really nice apartments, great rooms for reasonable prices and my daughter has not complained about maintenance or the staff that work there. Hilltop must be doing something right if my daughter is not complaining. Overall I would say I’m happy with Hilltop Austin, Texas and it’s Staff members and Thank you!!! for all your hard work.     I’ve lived here for 2 years now and have had nothing but good experiences! The staff is always super quick and helpful with anything I need (especially Braedon! Love him!). Really nice sized apt, super convenient spot, easy walk to campus, and the orange market across the street is amazing for every Sunday morning when I need a pedialyte immediately. 10/10 would recommend :-)

    I’m a senior and this has been my best move in experience by far! Management is so helpful and friendly. I love the amazing pool space, the latte machine and sparkling water machine. My room is huge with two windows, and I love how there are exterior facing windows on every floor (surprisingly uncommon for west campus). This is how all west campus apartments should be!

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cant say enough good things about my sons college apartment! The location is unbeatable, right next to campus and surrounded by great dining options. The interior is stunning with vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, and beautiful tile work. But what really sets this place apart is the incredible management and maintenance team. Theyre always friendly, responsive, and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Its a true gem for any college student! 🌟👏
