The Gables at Turtle Creek is located in the perfect spot. You are so close to so many great things! Access to the Katy Trail is steps away from the property. My wife and I were in Apt. 283 2 bed 2 bath. While it isnt the most updated property, it had everything we were looking for! My wife is remote, so having her office space in the den upstairs without compromising our guest bedroom was perfect. You will not beat this location anywhere else for the price. Aside from hearing neighbors cabinets close from time to time, it was a very quiet and peaceful experience. Parking seemed to always be available outside our unit which was a huge plus. Overall this townhome style layout felt very safe & homey!

Staff here is so great and it’s close to everything! Never had an issue maintenance wouldn’t correct asap and the front office employees are always so friendly and helpful! This is by far the best complex I’ve lived in, in DFW! So many places to see and go right outside the gate!

I lived here for a year and have nothing bad to say. Tim in the leasing office is very accommodating and pleasant to work with as are all of the maintenance team. They are also super quick to come fix stuff, usually on the same day I submit the request. Highly recommend living here!

I have been a resident at Gables Turtle Creek for over a year and just renewed my lease! I have had such positive experiences with all of the staff members here, particularly with Tim in the leasing office, who has gone above and beyond for me as a tenant.Besides being fair, patient, and proactive, he is a great listener, and always takes time to go the extra mile-- whether it be by promptly responding to emails or helping me through the lease renewal process. He played a big role (if not, the main role) in my decision to renew. The maintenance crew is also fabulous and attentive. Virtually all of my maintenance requests have been resolved in less than a day-- even small, non-emergency requests. I love coming home to Gables after a long day at work, and look forward to my new lease term with them!

Really appreciate this living complex. Great facilities, amenities, personal garages, West Village walkability, and fantastic staff. Id like to give special kudos to the Maintenance Staff. I am so impressed with how well managed The Gables are! We have dealt with several other complexes over the last 5 years, and The Gables has been the most helpful and most reliable by far.Tim in the leasing office is wonderful to work with and is a tremendous asset to the property. Ive lived in gtc for over a year, in a 2 bedroom apartment. My wife and I are professional working couple in our late 30s.I have really enjoyed my time living here. The apartments were nice and quiet, especially considering all the partying that happens in the bars down the street. The open design and giant windows made everything bright and cheery which was a big difference from my last apartments.The appliances were fine, nothing special, but the maintenance crew is awesome if anything goes wrong. People are friendly, and the staff hosts lots of cool events to get people meeting each other which is nice to see. The pool is relatively empty so its a nice place to lay out or do some work.Oh did I mention the garage? Having a garage to avoid the craziness of uptown parking is awesome.Great area, safe, coffee across the street for when youre lazy, easy access to the trolley to go to the art museum or down town, just a really nice apartment and area in general.

Great place to live! Pool and gym are so good I don’t need an expensive gym membership. The front staff is always so welcoming and helpful and the maintenance staff is quick to respond to any issues. Love living so close to all the shops, restaurants and especially the Katy trail!

We are still interested in this property it is just a bit hire than he would like to spend. However, we are just doing our tax stuff so we can make sure we can cover all moving expenses and pay a bit ahead of time on rent. Just reviewing our financials since it is a bit more than we were expecting. He is really wanting me to keep it at 2k no more than 2.2k, 😩! I’ll keep you posted though. The fact that they will assist with the home buying process after you have rented with them is so beautiful. The community and each apartment home there is so beautiful and actually feels a bit like a new home versus an apartment.Lucy, thanks so so much for everything and all of your help. Youre the best and your property is really lucky to have you working as an ambassador for them. I lived here for 6 years. Had a two bedroom townhouse. Private garage and access to the pool and gym but not too fancy. It was a great experience from quick maintenance responses to friendly staff and great price for a great location. Probably the biggest advantage was being close to all the happenings within a walking distance. The place needs to be updated but compared to similar buildings with an updated interior the price was fair. It has a great potential if it was completely renovated. The exterior of the building used to be kept cleaner. Overall safety was fine and I never had issues. When I moved out they charged me a small fee for bulbs and the oven but no big deal. I still recommend them.

I moved to the Gables Turtle Creek Cityplace about two weeks ago from out of state. When I came to visit Dallas to look for an apartment no other apartment complex was as accommodating as the Gables Turtle Creek Cityplace. I looked at 9 different properties and what won me over was how the staff really took the time to explain all the options this property has to offer in addition to going above and beyond to make me feel welcome in Dallas.I agree with other reviews that the kitchen and bathrooms are average. But this property makes up for it by being in a fabulous location, landscaping is nicely maintained, it is quiet and the fact that each apartment has its own garage is a definite plus.My experience with the maintenance staff has been equally positive, they are all polite, professional and get things done in a timely manner.Another call out would be that l love the fact that this is a pet friendly property. The property even has pet friendly trash containers on the property for easy access. I have noticed however, not all residents pick up after their pets which is such a shame considering the property works hard to maintain a nice living environment.My pup and l have only been here two weeks, but so far, l am very satisfied and would highly recommend this property.Update: 9/18/2023Its been more than a year of living at this property and my original review still stands. I personally feel that the few bad reviews I have read do not encompass the entire experience at this property.The staff have continued to be wonderful to work with when needed. They are professional, kind and willing to go the extra mile. When things are broken, they do what is needed to get things fixed as quickly as possible. They are here to help us.I walk my dog multiple times a day and see first hand how Gables is making an effort to continue to improve the esthetics as well as the safety of this property. New mail boxes, new roof, security cameras and new landscaping to name but a few. I will continue to highly recommend this property.

After coming in and viewing the property and also meeting the lovely staff especially, Lacy who she was kind, patient and very helpful, I then decided that Gables Turtle Creek was the place for me! I am loving my new life and loving my apartment especially how spacious it is. Glad to be apart of the Gables community.

I’ve been here since May 2020 and have had only nice experiences. The office and maintenance staff are kind and helpful, work orders are always addressed promptly, and the grounds are always clean. Never seen any bugs or pests, never had issues with noise or neighbors. Pet friendly, close to pubs, and super walkable. The apartment I’m in is a super cute two story walk up with two balconies and tons of light.Only leaving because we’re moving for work. I’m sad to go.

Our family of 3 moved to this community almost a year ago and we are more than pleased to live here.The location is great (tons of restaurants, small shops and parks around, some with kids playgrounds), dog friendly. If something needs to be fixed in the apartment or there are some other issues, the management and maintenance teams respond pretty fast after leaving an inquiry. There was an issue with package room at one point, but that has been fixed since then and its organised by sections now, easy to find stuff. Trolley stops are right outside the community going to Downtown and its free. Works for us.

This place is great. Everyone in the office was so kind and immediately made me feel at home. I was lucky enough to get a home with the front door right out on Cole, so amazing. I can walk anywhere I need in minutes. There’s plenty of parks, restaurants, and convenience store super close. The maintenance team is cool too which is a huge plus considering what I’ve experienced in the past with other places.

We love living here at Gables Turtle Creek! If you are looking for a town home style apartment with an attached garage that has direct entry into your unit, then this is the place for you. The price for the location is hard to beat. Right across the street from West Village! You can walk to just about anywhere. The office staff and maintenance team are great, they are always very accommodating and the maintenance team is awesome, anything that we have needed fixed has been done quickly and professionally.

We’ve made the Gables at Turtle Creek home for 2.5 years now and absolutely love living here! The staff, especially Kirstie and Hector, are ALWAYS quick to respond to any request and they could not be more kind! They go out of their way to be helpful, even my dogs love them! Speaking of dogs, the community is as dog friendly as apartments can be. We wish that there was a small dog park, and they management team had tried, but there simply isn’t enough space. More pros include having an alarm system, a personal garage, two balconies, a well kept community pool, being right across the street from restaurants and boutiques, having Katy Trail and the trolly stop within a very short distance, the friendly neighbors, the shockingly low noise, the gates to enter, the ease of obtaining a guest pass for parking, the updates on the exterior of each building, and the affordability! We looked at many other places before signing our lease here, and the Gables at Turtle Creek is definitely the most bang for your buck! Friends and family have suggested that we buy instead of rent of course, but for us, it’s a luxury to not spend our weekends with taking care of a yard and other household projects. Plus, with the options to have a short-term lease, we have the freedom to move without having to worry about selling a home.

The tour I experienced from Jenn was too amazing, asked a lot of question and she was so honest and helpful not to forget kind and really polite. Couldnt ask for a better person to introduced me to a community with such a neat and clear explanation. Showed us everything with details plus reached out to let me know, she was there to answer any questions if needed to be answer with applications and more. The apartment I viewed was a 2 bedroom apartment and left with information about the one I was shown and for the 3 bedroom i was looking for. Left happy and well informed. Thanks Jenn :)

This place is extremely beautiful and centrally located. The townhomes are really spacious and seem to be well kept. The unit that I viewed did not have new modern features. However, it had a uniqueness to it that if you have an eye for home decor. You could make the space look like a beautiful palace. The complex felt “homey” and quiet. It’s located right by the dart rail, shopping boutiques and restaurants. There is a high school and elementary near by and not too far from the Dallas Love Airport. There is a neighbor Walmart, Kroger and target near by as well. If you are seeking to move this would be a good place. If you are relocating from a bigger city like I did, this would be more up your speed because of how accessible the area is. It’s right off the 75 expressway/ highway :) Its a little more expensive than other cities near Dallas but it has great location amenities.

My wife and I have been at Gables Turtle Creek for just over a year now and have absolutely loved it. Location is perfect. West Village is just far enough from uptown to have a peaceful homely feel while being close enough to be able to walk to pretty much anything we need. There are few front office teams Ive interacted with in the past that are as friendly and willing to take care of you as they are here at GTC. The apartments are a bit of an older design, but we love the open floor plans and architecture. Basically everything on the grounds has been renovated. Maintenance is quick to respond and the facilities are very well kept (the pool area is the crown jewel here imo). This is the perfect spot for any young upcoming couple or anyone who wants to live the uptown lifestyle at an affordable price.**Edit: their response to the COVID situation and other following catastrophes has been assuring and helped us feel comfortable through it all.**

Hard to beat this place, patios and apartments are huge, very well built...not like the 1/4 sheetrock popup apartments theyre building now, you even get a garage! Very quiet considering youre in the middle of West Village. Staff is very responsive and very helpful and maintenance is great. And the location is the best in the uptown/west village area. Sad these will be torn down for an overpriced apartment tower, this feels like you like in a neighborhood
