I had a scheduled appointment to view a 1 bedroom apartment. I absolutely love the model apartment layout. The location is in a great area. Its appears to be well maintained. The apartment was in my budget but all the other requirements to apply for an apartment was not acceptable for me so I am not interested in moving here.

Victoria is always so helpful and responds to all my emails in a timely manner. She helped make my move such a smooth transition. My apartment was perfect! If you’re looking to move here I definitely recommend! 10/10

Moved here doing the beginning of the pandemic & its been great. The property is well kept even through some people dont care where they throw trash from their vehicles at times. Only con to me is the deposit waiver fee once you renew your lease again. But other then that Im good for 1 more year here.

I just moved from here after living at Deseo for 13 months and I loved my apt!!! The garden size tub, spacious bathroom, my rent was only $867-, $950 after water, pest and valet trash. My only issue was the staff they were very snobby expect for Caroline shes a sweetie and was the one who processed my application and showed me the apt. Top of the line washer and dryer. I only moved because I work downtown and the commute was horrible !!! And the $50 raise in rent. Other than that I have no complaints besides the witches in the leasing office. I rather spend $1,000 and live in midtown if thats the case. The pool area is gorgeous, the property is well kept. Some tenants are nasty and leave things after office hours but it will be picked up and cleaned soon as maintenance gets on the clock. Maintenance always came on time I only had to call twice. No roaches or rodents besides the noisy beetles that were outside my door. Just sweep them away but overall I loved my apartment and if it wasnt so far and horrible commute maybe I would of paid the raise in the rent Maybe

I have lived here for a year and it is the best community Ive lived in. Office staff has been consistently polite, professional and helpful. Yes, even after we signed our lease and moved in! Maintenance is done within days. The grounds are beautiful and kept up religiously- landscaping, no litter, clean pool, fresh paint, etc. I love my apartment. Never had any issues, good appliances.. quiet neighborhood. Overall a wonderful experience.The negatives and Im having to reach for these. They arent even that big of a problem:-dog poop-the very occasional giant roach from outside-thin-ish walls-late night parking is sparse, may have to walk a bit.And to the dummies complaining about towing. Heres a novel idea... dont park illegally. Brilliant, I know.

My wife and I moved into this complex in January. It has been a wonderful experience. The office staff remembers you by name. Pool is very nice and gives a great atmosphere. Gym is decent, and is being remodeled soon. The price is pretty high, but that is because of the market. I looked at 10 other apartments around Richmond and Katy, and they all cost more and offered significantly less, and contrary to some reviewers opinions, I like that the tow trucks come through to pick up cars without tags. It helps clear out spots for those who actually live there. This place is so nice, it gives renters a reason to take pride in it and to keep it nice. A rare gem for sure.

We have been living here for about a month now and we love the place. I work from home and the environment it quiet and conducive throughout the day. The business center is also great but I havent had an opportunity to use it yet. So far everything is Awesome. No regrets about moving in here

We love our unit, nice and modern! Community is quiet and amenities are great!-Parking is the biggest issue in our opinion. Parking lot is typically to capacity by the evening. Too many visitors without parking permits park in paid spots.Towing not enforced. Most nights, if not every night, after 7-8 o clock, chances are you will be parking very far from your unit. In many cases is because of spots being taken up by visitors.-Front gates are constantly or working.

UPDATED:I am improving my rating as things have really turned around and communication has gotten much better, and my maintenance issues have been resolved.I have lived at Deseo for 3 years now and I am not sure what is going on with the front office, but things have been going downhill the past year. Front office is unresponsive to emails, messages through the app and phone calls. Maintenance does not communicate and does not complete jobs if there are multiple issue at once, I had to call on a daily basis to remind them about an issue and was always being told it would be fixed that day only for it to not be. Parking has always been an issue, but it is even more so now ever since management had us change to this new sticker with an app to track residents guest, except they never actually implemented the new system and so no kind of rules for parking seem to exist at this point.I have had a maintenance issue since march and I have tried emailing, calling, using the resident portal, submitting a new ticket for the problem and have not been contacted back since March.

My husband and I moved in May 2021 right before our wedding. The staff is friendly and helpful, and we particularly appreciate that things are well-maintained, safe, and clean. Our few minor gripes have little to do with the complex itself - moreso the location. Its very close to a fire station so sirens can be heard 24/7, depending on where in the complex your apartment is. The rent is also a touch steep for the location. If you can get past these things or they matter less to you, then I would strongly recommend this complex.

I have lived on this property for my full 13 month lease. I LOVE the management here. They maintain the property really well and it shows. The rent is actually really decently priced to be in the area. I really enjoyed the parties that they threw for the residents. They are pet friendly as they have a dog run and they keep treats in the office. My daughter enjoyed playing in the pool during the summer. Great place, great price! 10/10 would Recommend if youre looking in this area.

I enjoy living here, the property is maintained clean. The neighbors are friendly, but mostly stay to themselves. It’s a private and quiet area. This is my first year here, and I would like to renew my lease. It’s been a pleasant experience. The office staff is great and maintenance responds in a timely manner.

I moved in the apartment a week ago from out of state and anything I needed the staff was willing to assist me in making it happen! Davianna is the BEST apartment manager I have ever had and her team Maria and Gilbert are awesome!!!! Any maintenance issues have been handled in a timely fashion and Juan has even helped with personal items that werent related to the complex! This is an awesome place to live! Its safe and in a nice neighborhood. Parking sucks but that is with any apartment complex that doesnt have assigned parking! My daughter and I LOVE it here ! WE ARE HOME

I am apartment hunting and I decided to stop at these apartment I was greeted by Stella she was very nice and polite and ask me what I was looking for. I told her my needs and want and I prefer a 1st floor. Stella listen to me and ask if I wanted to take a tour and show me apartments. The lobby was very modern they had free pac man, nice clean pool. When we got to apartment the outside was clean but when she open the door it was just beautiful up to date appliances, walk in closet, awesome wood floors, and a build in computer desk in bedroom. The unit I was in had a BIG bathroom. The location is good for me close to 99 (Grand Parkway) the price of apartments are average. You do have to pay for a carport or garage. I would say overall great place clean landscapes and quiet.

Wife and I have lived here at Deseo for almost three years now and through Harvey. We very fortunate to live on the 2nd floor as almost the entire complex flooded on the first floor. It was very bad but what could really be done to stop a storm like that. Almost everyone lost their vehicles and safe bet that everyone had at best some water damage to their cars and those were from folks fortunate enough to pull their car up over the curb and into the complex a bit!Let me get my grievances out the way first and explain;Security - this is a big one. They just got the gates working properly again just a few months ago and before that they were either fully broken and open or would break often. But now people just tailgate or enter through the exit. Tot knowledge I never see people punished for doing this. So why would anyone stop doing it? Until this policy is enforced and we have security at the complex to monitor this I don’t see it improving. Would really like to see the complex put some money into security and have a guard in a golf cart that patrols at minimum during nighttime. This would go a long way with making community members feel safer and would eliminate my next issue...Pool noise after-hours - We live fairly close to the pool and I truly feel for those that live next to the pool. It’s always full during summer days but know what? That’s ok! That is what it’s there for. What isn’t ok is community members using it after-hours. Now this doesn’t happen extremely often, but it happens. Last time I paged the on-duty security officer twice over the course of 45 minutes and I’m not sure if they ever went and checked.Security Officer? - So I know we only recently have been able to page the on-duty security officer but to be honest...I don’t know if they actually exist.Maintenance is good but needs to improve. I’ve been given many different stories as to the best way to request maintenance and each time it takes a little while but it’s not unreasonable. I really can’t complain much because when we moved in 3 years ago our AC was slowly leaking freon and we continually had to call maintenance. Without even asking them to they replace our unit outside and the inside! Now if they’d just replace the dishwasher that is terrible and keeps getting loose! :)The staff have always been nice and attentive. They appear to be understaffed to me as they are almost ALWAYS very busy so you have to be patient and wait your turn but when it is your turn? They take good care of you and are fair. I see a lot of complaints about move out fees but I can’t really speak on something I have not experienced myself. I was told the apt was WIRED for internet and network but that was not true. After going back and forth with mgmt at the time they told me that even though I had it in writing the apt was networked, they had no obligation to provide that to me. The contractor they sent out said they needed to remove sheetrock and install a router (lol) at full cost to me. I gave up, called my friend and we punched the cables in ourselves. Appeared whoever lived there last had their ISP or cable/telephone provider change the cabling and rather than Deseo putting the cabling back as it should’ve been prior to me moving in, it was easier to shrug it off and tell me pay a contractor $1000+ to do things I didn’t need. Those members of mgmt are no longer here so this complaint should not even count toward current mgmt.Other then the pool noise is fine. I mean no more than you’d expect living in apartments. Certain level of noise that you have to expect and know what levels are respectful to your neighbors and community. All issues with neighbor noise were addressed promptly and there’s only been one! But that one was pretty excessive but again, it was dealt with promptly.Trash pick up - this is all over the place lol 8PM your trash must be outside per mgmt. some days shame on you if your a minute after 8PM because you’ll have missed out! Other days? 10PM. 11PM. And every once every 2-3 months they won’t pick it up at all.

We paid a deposit in mid July for an advertised apartment. Over the weekend, it was discovered that the apartment was not available. Another unit was offered. When we decided NOT to rent at this complex, we were told that our deposit would be mailed back to us. So far, nothing. Repeated phone calls to the office have yet to get our funds returned. Beware.After posting the original review, we were contacted within 24 hours and our refund did arrive within 2 business days. Thank you.

I absolutely love these apartments. Everything about this place is beautiful. I love the staff especially Caroline, she is awesome. Maintenance is on top of any and all issues and there is always something fun going on that the ladies in the office put together. I really hate that I will be moving only because of the location. It will be hard to find a new home that compares.

Im in love with the staff members. Best staff in the world. Give them raises and never let them leave!!! Ever since day one the management staff at Deseo at Grand Mission have gone above and beyond to assist me in every way. They are in a class of their own and a great group of people to be around. they are very professional and courteous. They also have a great understanding of the human aspect involved in property management and constantly build life long relationships with their tenants. im a better person for having met this group! the prices are a little high though.

The office staff is so helpful and amazing! They answer all of my questions promptly and professionally. The office is always so involved with events to bring the community together. I love them! The annual crawfish boil is so awesome! Theres a nice dog park on the property that my fur baby loves!

Lauren is super sweet, patient, and helpful. I got approved and was notified immediately. Management followed up with me to address my concerns with the move in process, they accepted my locator and most importantly, they floor plans accommodate my needs and the amenities are great! My girlfriend and I fell in love with the complex even though it was only the second ones we toured. Laura helped us with every single step, answered every question we thought of and never seemed to lose patience while doing so. Highly recommend these apartments and Laura as a leasing consultant
