The location is essentially the biggest perk of living here. You’re within incredibly close walking distance to the lake, SoCo, downtown and I-35/Mopac are nearby. This being said, expect noise, activity and visible vagrancy - that’s simply the reality of downtown, mid-rise living in Austin and in most developing big cities.The complex amenities were recently updated which was nice to see. New fitness equipment was brought in, the rooftop had just finished being worked on as of summer 2024 and I did see frequent (weekly, maybe?) cleaning of both the dog park and pool. I see some reviews mentioning cleanliness; I think it’s worth mentioning that efforts were/are made to keep the complex tidy. Obviously, the dog park is a 24/7, active hotspot and depending on when you’re down there, you may or may not see doggy business. Most mornings when I would go out there, there was someone actively cleaning the dog park and the pool.The parking garage can be a bit rough if you don’t have a compact car - the spots are small. The first floor is contracted out to an aparthotel company called Locale, so you’ll see strangers coming and going if you’re around the first floor. Employees of Locale do unit laundry loads in the 2nd floor laundry room, so some machines appeared to be overworked and used.All of this being said, I’m still rating this place highly. The front office workers were transparent and communicative with me, and that made a big difference for my experience. As long as you’re realistic about your expectations, you should be able to enjoy it here.

I lived here for 2 years. Overall it was a great experience for what I was looking for. I was willing to pay the rate for a nice unit facing the skyline, location and the rooftop. My unit was very comfortable and never had any issues with infestations, but granted I was on the fourth floor. The leasing agents Calista and Catherine were great and always willing to help. No issues with maintenance- Id usually have my issue resolved within 1-2 days of reporting it.Its a quiet complex and everyone there is nice, but note that the building is on Riverside and right across from the Superstition night club. Its a busy area and tends to get a little loud on weekend nights.I always felt safe at the complex, but have noticed recently that some homeless people have been dumpster diving in the bin located in the Garage. I never had any issues with car break-ins or suspicious people lurking around the complex, aside from the occasional homeless person; but thats what youre going to get by living on Riverside.Some of my personal cons include the small pool with limited sun exposure, a small gym (however recently has gotten upgraded equipment), and a shared laundry room. My in-unit washer/dryer barely worked so I rarely used it.If your priorities for a new place include location, view and unit quality without paying an absurdly high rate, I would suggest checking out Crescent!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! The office staff and maintenance team are SO nice and helpful! Crescent is literally walking distance from Lady Bird Lake and SoCo. Theyve renovated a lot around the complex recently too- the entire rooftop lounge, new pool furniture, the gym has all new equipment and a fancy vending machine, etc.

Charming apartment living spaces! The unique architecture at the Crescent reminds me of a cool South Beach boutique hotel. The moment I stepped inside the office, I was greeted by the office manager. She was very professional and attentive with me. We took a tour of the property and I immediately knew I wanted to live here. The floor plans are perfect - spacious bathrooms, modern kitchens and convenient built-in shelves in the living area. All units have something special to offer, whether youre view is to the pool area like mine or towards the city. The rooftop is incredible, spectacular view of the gorgeous Austin skyline. Youll be sure to fall in love! Again, the staff at the Crescent is always here for you to help you as a tenant. Sarah and Mary are wonderful! They want to make sure your experience is positive.

Crescent Apartments has really nice amenities. In addition, the building and its decor looks good. Above all else, their staff is great! Catherine was the Leasing Professional that gave me the tour. She was excellent and very knowledgeable about all of my questions!

I absolutely loved living here. Anna & her staff are extremely nice and respectful ad helpful. The amenities and maintenance staff are top notch. The mail also gets delivered rather early in the day, and i like the mail man that we have here. I will absolutely miss living here, just finished out my 12 month rent. Just one downside - The price ! With the price though, you get lovely amenities and a very central location.UPDATE:I moved away for about 8 months and ended up coming back to the Crescent and i resigned a 12 month lease with them, and they honored what I was paying before! Under new management, and they are all extremely professional and friendly. I also am excited that they will finally be adding a laundry room, as the washer/dryers provided are only efficient for very small loads. Also, they are upgrading the rooftop even more, adding televisions and more amenities. Cant wait to check it out when they are finished!This bumps my previous 4 star rating to 5.

Jen is the best property Manager since Laura left, since she arrived here she did an amazing with the property everything is perfect ! If you are looking for an apartment come at Crescent, the pool is amazing, the apartment is beautiful, and the floor plan is perfect for me. You will love the community and the staff. Great staff specially Jen she is super friendly and always at your service when you need something. The price is really correct, and the location is perfect. The best of the building is the rooftop I wish I could have a view like that for the rest of my life. Thank You For Everything !!!!!!

Despite some issues with my toilet breaking and flooding my apartment, the property managers are very nice and helpful. The maintenance workers are great and always super responsive. Overall the Crescent is in a great location and rent is reasonably priced compared to the apartments nearby. Its nothing fancy, but its a good place to live with respectful neighbors.

The team at Crescent is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Quick response times on inquiries or maintenance requests. Catherine and Calista in the leasing office are a joy and the space is always welcoming with coffee, mints, etc. Together, with Zach in maintenance, the property team works around the clock to make sure their residents and community are well taken care of.

We have lived at the Crescent for about six months. This is our first apartment here in Austin and, we feel, has been a perfect location and apartment to introduce us to Austin living (especially moving from a larger city).Thats important, since we had concerns after reading some negative reviews, and brought those up before signing a lease. It was good to see the management team (mainly Sara at the onset) was honest, aware and actively managing any situations, and we feel that has carried through to our time living at the Crescent.The apartment itself is great -- you really cant beat a balcony with a downtown Austin view. The open floor plan, 24/7 gym, a pool (small, but salt water) and rooftop (with a grill) are huge pluses, and the location really sealed the deal for us. Walkable to downtown and all the SoCo hot spots (and Taco Joint across the street).Weve had no issues with bugs or anything of the rodent variety, nor flooding. Maybe thats because of our location in the front of the apartment, but thats just been our experience. Im sure during those hot Texas summer days the trash room attracts a few visitors between pickups, but not sure how you can stop that anywhere.Sure, the parking spaces are a bit tight, and the gym isnt an Equinox, but the management team is friendly, the maintenance team is quick and sees through any tiny request, and its made our experience here at the Crescent a really enjoyable one. (Oh yea..I was not paid to write this)

I recently moved in here as a new grad, and this has been, by far, the smoothest move-in Ive ever been a part of! Sara and the staff were really welcoming and helpful (they even put my bed and mattress inside the apartment before I reached Austin!). I signed my lease online with no problems at all, and all my concerns were happily dealt with! Im glad to have chosen this apartment complex!

I am doing my best to not be critical since I dont work for this management company but I want their success since they have seemed to be very genuine.My first experience, (I lived here 5 years ago), with Staci who is the leasing agent. She offered every building detail that I am familiar with (I didnt mention on my history with The Crescent.) She blew me out of the water with her knowledge of the community and of all the good spots to go too once we got passed the Pandemic. We looked at 3 different floor-styles. She asked me the right questions. Gave me a few options, and here I am. Enjoying my great apartment with great service.Bravo Staci!

She did a great job asking questions and really trying to understand what was important to me. Definitely not my typical experience with leasing agents. So far the Crescent staff have been helpful with moving in, adjusting to bills and making sure that everything is ready to go. The whole apartment complex is an incredibly dog-friendly atmosphere. We have worked with Sara and she did a great job to get an apartment that fit or needs.Great location and community, within walking distance of the trails

Were going on our fourth year in this complex. There have been several management changes since moving in, but the current management team is awesome! Love the location and amenities, especially for the price. The roof deck and gym are great, and the covered parking is a great bonus. The garage is a bit tight to navigate but you can always find a parking spot. Our apartment is super quiet, and weve had minimal issues since moving in. Wish there was more to the dog-friendly area so our dog could really run around, but were right by the lake and dog park so cant complain!

I just moved in 3weeks ago, and I love my apt., the location is great & the sales team is super. Sara has been so courteous & helpful. She has handled all my challenges with moving with grace & speed. The maintenance crew is super fast & I have had all requests handled super fast.The property is super dog friendly & that is huge for me. The rooftop is amazing & ive really enjoyed it almost every night. I didn’t give this a 5 star because of how loud my neighbors stomp around above me, I’ve asked them to walk with socks on or not so flat footed, but it maybe the construction of the building?

Weve lived here for nearly two years and have had an increasingly positive experience. We are currently on the fourth management company since we moved in but they seem to have finally gotten it right! They are responsive to maintenance requests and have been continually improving the property since they took over. You are definitely paying for location but it is an incredible spot and only continues to get better as Riverside develops. Easy access to the lake trail is awesome and they have a great dog park within the building, too. Definitely recommend!

I just renewed my lease about a week ago, and today they came in and installed new/better blinds, snazzy ceiling fans and gave my carpet a good cleaning... Its like my apartment got a mini makeover... Looks and feels great! Patrick did a wonderful job... hes such a hard worker, and so polite and friendly! Ive lived here for a number of years now and under different management... I have to say Im very impressed with the current one... Theyre all so friendly and are terrific at their jobs. Im looking forward to another year of living here :)

Mary is amazing, she will help with anything you need. Next, Kelly is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Further, Jen is a great property manager easy to work with, and has been improving the entire community since the day she started here. Last, but not least, the maintenance team here works diligently to get everything back up and running. All in all, Great amenities, awesome location, and gorgeous views. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an outstanding place to call home in the heart of the beautiful city of Austin, Texas.

Just moved from Houston to Austin. My lease started about two weeks ago and so far The Crescent has been awesome.First off, the location is fantastic. The best Austin has to offer is a walk or short Uber ride away but it is still easy to find a good parking spot in the garage. The apartment has a very modern style while maintaining a cozy, at home feel. My favorite feature of the apartment itself, however, is definitely the rooftop set up: great view of the Austin skyline, multiple flat screen TVs, fire pit, grills, and plenty of tables and chairs to have friends over for a get together. On top of everything the management is great. I always get friendly phone calls and email reminders for important need to know information, and I feel like management genuinely cares about me and the other residents.I would highly recommend The Crescent if you are thinking of moving to the Austin area.

From application to move in, the process was incredibly smooth.I recently moved into the Crescent earlier this month. The team at the Crescent made the application process extremely easy and worked with me to find an apartment that I love. They keep you updated throughout the entire process and all the paperwork was processed very quickly.When I moved in, they made sure all my huge boxes were either brought up right outside my apartment door or even had some of them in the apartment waiting for me (with my permission, of course).Overall, its a great location, has wonderful amenities (pool, beautiful rooftop, etc.) and the staff are extremely helpful and nice.If you want a beautiful apartment close to downtown for a great price, I would check out the Crescent.

Having lived in Austin for several years in various apartment complexes, I can say that the Crescent is towards the top. The combination of location, price point, and amenities led me to move in this spring.Pros:-Location. I work downtown and this has perks of living in 78704 and right across the bridge from downtown.-The apartments themselves are very well thought out from floor plans to the black granite countertops.-Amenities. The rooftop deck and grills alone are amazing and unlike some crazy perks at apartments nowadays I find myself using them often.-Price. Unlike many of the new apartments popping up all over the price I have at the Crescent provides the luxury apartment experience right downtown a noticeable margin cheaper than some of the brand new options.-Service. When I moved into the Crescent there were a few minor issues and the service team went above and beyond to fix them fast. Great job.Cons:-Noise levels from outside hallways is a little noticeable, but nothing out of the ordinary for an apartment.-Parking entry is very very tight. Watch your speed going around that corner.Overall, 5 stars from what I have experienced so far. Job well done to leasing and service staff.

We just moved here from Houston and luckily found the Crescent Apartments. The staff has been very friendly and helpful getting us setup in Austin. Like other reviews have said the rooftop terrace is one of the best features and the location being in SOCO is great. We have been able to walk everywhere for food and drinks and expect to use our cars very little while living here. The building is very dog friendly and we are looking forward to the next year living at the Crescent.

I recently renewed my lease to live here for the 3rd year in a row. Since August 13, my experience here has been very pleasant. I moved to Austin not really knowing much about the city, so location was very important to me. I wanted to be close to downtown, the walking/running trails, and good restaurants. Living at the Crescent offers all of the above. Its about a 10 minute walk across the Congress bridge to get to downtown bars/restaurants. Head south on Congress from the Crescent and within minutes you are surrounded by the funky shops and great restaurants the SoCo district has to offer. For the price/location combo, you cant really beat this place.Amenities: The pool is just OK. Its location lends itself to weird hours of sun each day, but it definitely serves its purpose. The Crescent recently opened an on-site laundry room...free of charge. I have taken full advantage of this, and Im very glad that it was added. Probably the best part about living here is the rooftop patio. They recently upgraded it, adding a firepit, a new grill, and 5 giant TVs, which will definitely get a lot of use during football season. Lastly, if you have a dog, the outside dog area is pretty incredible. Not many apartment complexes offer an area like this, and there are always friendly dogs/owners out there to hang with.Over the two years Ive been here, the management has gone through some changes, but theyve always tried their best to be accommodating and weather the storm.Definitely a great place to live!

I moved in about 3 weeks ago and here are my first impressions:To start, Abby, the property manager was extremely helpful with the move in process and made it very easy to get settled in.The property itself is always well maintained, the rooftop terrace is fantastic with an amazing view, fire pit, flat screens and a grill.The apartment has also been constantly updated and well taken care of, new stainless steel appliances, a modern metal backslash, black granite counter tops, ceiling fans with a remote, etc.Overall, very satisfied so far!

Ive only lived at the Crescent for a couple months now, but everything about it has been a gigantic step up from my previous living situation in Austin. The location is incredible with walking distance to downtown, South Congress, parks, lakes, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are all so competent, friendly and seem truly vested in creating a wonderful experience for everyone who lives here. They have gone above and beyond for me several times in making my stay here as smooth as possible. In addition, the amenities including a rooftop terrace overlooking downtown and a private gym are all top notch!

AWESOME. The location is amazing, you can walk to everything or a fasten ride downtown will only cost $4-$5. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to whatever you need.Talk to Tiffany or Brooke, they rock! Also very dog friendly! The apartments themselves feature large spacious floor plans, granite counters and tall ceilings. Definitely recommend living here.

Been here a month and have no complaints. Maintenance staff is nice and fairly quick, units are in great condition. Would definitely recommend!

The Crescent is a great spot in the SoCo district, the rooms are spacious and have big closets. But nothing compares to the help that the front desk gives you. I was moving from Charlotte, NC to Austin with nowhere to stay, and Sara and the other employees at the Crescent could not have been more helpful. They contacted me, scheduled a tour of the room, and had me moved in within 24 hours. Not to mention they gave me a free month of rent and waived other fees as well when I told them how I had been screwed over by large apartment complexes in the past. I highly recommend living at the Crescent not only for the complex/rooms itself, but also for the help of the employees.

The Crescent is an amazing location within walking distance to most of the Austin City hotspots. Living here is great, there is a comforting social vibe due to all the young professionals and some students that reside here. The crew that manages this building is excellent and very professional. The leasing staff is also attentive and professional. I only met Jennifer and Ashley who have both accommodated all of my needs in a timely and professional manner.

These apartments are in the perfect location with an amazing view at a great price! I had two weeks to move to Austin and the market is crazy here. I saw over 25 apartments and this one fit my budget and criteria the best. Stainless steel and grant counter tops with high ceilings on the first flow and secure parking. It doesnt get any better. The management is awesome and have been accommodating with anything I need from maintenance to renting the roof top and the list goes on. I will be renewing my lease! :)

The maintenance workers at Crescent Apartments are phenomenal. Jesse has responded quickly to assisting my roommate and I with our maintenance requests. Jesse and Andy both went above and beyond to help us during moving in. They volunteered and carried our couch into our apartment. Without their help we would’ve greatly struggled. Thank you Jesse and Andy for going out of your way to help us, we really appreciate you both and are glad to have such wonderful workers at our new home!

Great apartments right near downtown. Apartment complex is kept very clean with regular cleaning. Has on site dog park that is great to take your pets to, and the pool and roof top lounge are also a plus. TheAccording to tinder we would make beautiful babies, but I think we should get to know each other first. staff is friendly and helpful. You cant beat the price for the location.

Just moved in yesterday and cant say enough good things about the leasing process. Britney was so helpful and kind and genuinely wanted to make sure I found a unit that fit my needs. She even followed up to make sure small things were taken care of before I moved in and that I had everything I needed. Despite being 100+ units it feels like people really know each other which makes a huge difference. Jen and Lem in the office are also super welcoming and answered all my questions. The location is pretty unbeatable but the customer service is what really sold me. :)

I just moved to Austin from New Jersey and so far Im very happy with my choice to live at The Crescent. The apartments themselves are beautiful and have different accents that make them unique compared to other apartments. We moved in and everything was so perfectly clean it feels like were the first to live in the apartment.As for the complex, I absolutely love the rooftop, it has tables and counters with barstools, a firepit, a grill, tvs and a beautiful view. I want to spend all my time up there. Theres a little coffee bar in the office which is a pretty nice perk that a lot of places dont have. The management team is so friendly and helpful if you need anything.Overall I have only nice things to say so far. Its a great apartment complex, in a really good location, for a really good price.

Sara and the leasing team are superstars they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me out with maintenance issues which really arent even their responsibility. They really care about the residents which is really rare with most apartment complexes. I wish Google would let me give them 10*s because just 5 isnt enough!The Crescent is an awesome place to live and its very well priced given the sweet location. Great neighborhood, amazing access to the Hike and Bike trail. Walking distance to South Congress and numerous restaurants. Updates to the complex and renovations to the units are awesome. However, there is dog urine in the outdoor hallways on the bottom floor and garbage/mess in the stairwells. As well, not all the entrances to the complex are locked so security is a concern. Updates are regular and things have improved significantly!

After living in 10 states and 3 countries I have to say that I’ve never felt the need to write a review about an apartment agency until I came to The Crescent in Austin. Everything from touring the apartments to application process to getting my keys and getting assistance with my deliveries has been just a beautiful and breezy experience. Brittany and everyone in the office has been so helpful and I’m really thankful that Austin has a place like this to make me feel at home.

Staff is great, I moved from out of state and had very little time to find a place, the team here was extremely helpful in making this move as seamless as possible. Rooftop is gorgeous with tvs, fireplace, and a priceless view of the skyline. Rooms are spacious and modern with an open layout. Onsite laundry facility is free for residents and you can also get a washer/dryer for your apartment. Location is ideal, less than 1 mile from downtown, iconic locations, and several restaurants on SoCo are all walking distance.

Ive lived here since November 2018 and, candidly, this would have been a 2 or 3-star review up until a couple months ago. I got along well with previous management, but the property was just embarrassingly dirty and in disrepair all the time.Fortunately for all of us, Jen and Mary came in as the new permanent, on-site management team fairly recently and things have already turned around drastically.PROS:-Location, of course. Its a quick drive/Uber/scooter to all the fun spots.-A pretty awesome rooftop patio with a grill (mgmt: please keep propane stocked :) ), firepits, and views of the downtown skyline.-Covered parking garage with plenty of spaces (though there is a monthly fee for this).-Super friendly office staff (Jen, Mary, Kelly, Brittany).-A new maintenance team that has already kept it cleaner than it ever was before.-Thick walls; I dont remember hearing neighbors except the aggressive stomping of the previous resident above me. Fortunately he moved out.-Basic on-site gym.-Pool is clean but in a shady 1st floor courtyard, so not much activity there.CONS: A couple months ago I wouldve had some real fun with this section. But, we recently received a very thorough letter from Jen (the new property manager) on our doors with bullet points of each specific issue / complaint along with equally specific actions her team was already taking to remedy them. I really respect that, and have already seen follow-through (trash no longer piles up everywhere, recycling bins have been added, they scrubbed the community laundry room, I see way less dog poop laying around, etc.)Feeling good about this property nowadays, mostly thanks to the new team in the front office. Professional staff, extremely dog-friendly, great floor plans and solid amenities compared to other luxury complexes. I have no major complaints! The only things keeping this from a 5 are that Ive had challenges registering with the online portal, and I had to follow up with a phone-call to a maintenance request to ensure it was handled same-day. All in all, very professional, great amenities and view and overall great experience!

Sara, Brittany, and Laura have been a pleasure to work with. They were up front about all the costs (there arent many), they got me into a unit as fast as humanly possibly, and were even so nice as to offer for someone to come and see the unit for me (moving from another state). My situation wasnt easy, but they made it easy. They worked really hard to get me all set up and were amazing about calling/emailing to keep me in the loop EVERY step of the way.My first time living in Austin and they have been the warmest people. Its left a good taste in my mouth.Also, the location is prime!Thank you to everyone at he Crescent! Ill be recommending it to all colleagues and other talent that we relocate!

I would totally recommend anyone wanting to move to south Austin, to give this apartment complex a chance. The new management and office staff have been wonderful to work with. Its 1 mile directly from everything youd want to visit in south Austin. And Id recommend this location to any new austinite!

The apartment and (incredibly efficient) maintenance related to the apartment have always been The Crescents best features. The communal spaces needed improvement and theyre about 80% of the way there. Some things to work on would be restocking the dog cleanup bags more often, a bi-weekly check to ensure propane availability for the rooftop grill, and general hallway cleanliness.Completed Improvements:1. Communal (Free) laundry room to replace the awful in unit w/d combination units2. Installing gates in the parking lot + key fob security on all of the outside doors3. Roof renovation with TVs and shade cover systemThe Connor Group delivered on all of the promised improvements over the past two years. Six months after moving in I would have rated the building a 2, now I would happily rate it a 4-4.5.

My gf and I moved down here 6 months ago and knew nothing about austin or crescent apartments. We walked into crescent and immediately knew that this would be our place to live. It is literally a ten minute walk to downtown and a ten minute walk to all the shops on congress. Its a five minute walk to lake travis which has an awesome trail. The rooftop has an unbelievable view of the city and also has a full functional grill. I can honestly not say anything bad about this place. Really the only issue we had was one of our light bulbs was out and it got immediately changed that same day. The front desk and maintenance staff are top notch to go along with there up to date apartments. If it wasnt for the crescent I wouldnt feel the same way about Austin that I do.

Location of the Crescent is terrific which takes you around 10-15 mins to reach downtown on foot. HEB which is a large supermarket is also reachable by bus in 15 mins. The community is quite secured with a gated system and safe neighborhood. Staff is quite helpful and the rooftop terrace is an amazing place to spend time with friends.

Location...Location... and Condo rated walls sound-proofing.The apt is great, but being able to walk to everything I need is why Im there. Directly across the street is a Thoms Market... to the left a Dominican Joes ..the downtown bars are but a drunk walk away... and being able to walk to ACL and Fun,Fun,Fun fest 3 years in a row while you watch the masses wait in traffic...priceless. :)My first question to every leasing agent is... Are the walls condo rated?..If their answer is no.. I wouldnt care if it was the zombie apocalypse and it was the only safe place... Im not staying there..... So yeah the walls are thick; cant hear my neighbors or the city outside my door. :).... If you stop by the leasing agents office, ask for Bailey Green, shes the property manager.
