The Alcove apartments have great resources - pool, gym, parking, BBQ, balconies etc..And the apartments are spacious and fully equipped with everything you’ll need and luxuries like valet trash, large water dispenser fridges, sink garbage disposals, security systems and air-con throughout.The community are polite and friendly, you can’t hear your neighbours in the apartments but always get a smile and greeting when you pass each other.Felicia and Jessel are a great team, always happy to help and super responsive with any query you might have.

I’ve lived at the Alcove at Alamo Heights for the last two years, and have loved being a part of such a great community. I PCSed from Japan in the middle of the pandemic, and had been searching for a quiet community in Alamo Heights. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood only minutes from a number of great museums and restaurants, Alcove at Alamo Heights units have huge walk-in closets, built-in computer desks, ample cabinets, granite top counters and kitchen islands, and private garages are also available for rent. I also love the security of having ADT and water leak sensors, which can be monitored via the Alarm app while you’re away. There’s a compact pool area with grill and a dog park and the school bus stops right outside the gate, and it’s convenient to Fort Sam, Randolph, and Alamo Heights ISD schools.Leasing manager Felicia and the maintenance team led by Daniel have both made living here part of what makes the Alcove at Alamo Heights feel like home. Felicia has been fantastic about communicating issues notifying residents that packages available for pickup, estimated repairs, etc., and I love that there is always recognition of resident birthdays, weekly food trucks on site, and holiday decorating contests and events. Alcove at Alamo Heights feels much more like a community than other larger complexes I’ve lived at and I love being a resident here!

Hands down, by far, the best place I have ever rented, period!Ive been in many different states and different dwellings to include apartments and houses, and the Alcove at Alamo Heights takes the cake for being the best.The apartment complex area is kept neat and tidy at all times. I see the staff members in the mornings going through the parking lot to pick up any trash to keep the property clean.The residents are quiet and respectful from what I have personally seen. The area itself is tucked away and quiet as well. The location is also very convenient with places such as Golds Gym, Target, and Walmart being very close to the property.Work orders are executed very quickly. The maintenance crew do not receive work orders and sit on them like many property management companies do.The management is amazing. I would have to say the best management team Ive done business with. Felicia and Jessel are professionals who really care about your well-being as a resident at the Alcove, and I cant say enough good things about them. If you ever have concerns while living here, you can be sure that they will take care of things to the best of their abilities and ensure youre satisfied.Oftentimes a lot of apartments look similar around the area, and what really sets everything apart is the work order process (how long it takes, and how good the maintenance crew is) and the management team. The Alcove has both of these areas covered flawlessly, and I cannot think of a single complaint during my 18 months here.If I come back to San Antonio in the future and am looking to rent an apartment space, this would be my first choice.To Felicia and Jessel, thank you very much for your dedication and care of your residents. I will never forget the great experience Ive had while living there.

I lived at the Alcove at Alamo Heights for 3 years (2020-2023) and I miss it so much! It was such a wonderful place to call home, and I frequently stop by to say hello to Jessel and Felicia in the office. Just as it was when I lived there, the property is very well maintained and refreshed--the grounds are always beautiful! And Jessel and Felicia are always providing the best customer service anywhere! I miss the quiet apartment, the well-appointed gym, the covered breezeways, the kitchen, and the garage. The Alcove at Alamo Heights was the perfect place for me at the time, and Ill always hold them in the highest regard--they are surely the best anywhere!

What really stands out about the Alcove is the amazing representation in the leasing office. Jessel and Felicia are the friendliest and most responsive property management reps I have known (and I have lived in many apt communities). The buildings have a condo-like feel and are modern and well-maintained. Maintenance requests are resolved 24-48 hours after a service request is submitted. The community is gated and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. I have been here 4+ years and would recommend to anyone.

I have lived here for about 6 months now and I have no complaints to give. Felicia & Jessel are some of the most amicable people I have ever met. Any maintenance requests (very few were needed) were handled in a timely manner. I love the fact that it is a quiet gated community. It is also conveniently located near Fort Sam Houston and other retail stores. I highly recommend this place for any military IPAP students, since the school is located about 7 minutes away. Great staff, location, & community.

Absolutely love the Alcove at Alamo Heights. PERFECT location! It is so close to everything and extremely safe! Jessel and Felicia in the office are amazing! Could not ask for better customer service. So friendly and handle all issues quickly! Highly recommend living here! Being in the military, it is the best location commuting to Fort Sam Houston or Brooke Army Medical Center. I go running daily in the neighborhood and never have felt safer. Definitely live here whether temporary or long term. You wont be disappointed!

Patty and Felicia are absolutely wonderful, professional and extremely helpful. They really made my experience there so welcoming and easy. The apartments were up to date, quiet and you truly get to know your neighbors at the dog park which was such a great experience. Maintenance staff was always on it and so nice and helped you with whatever you needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone/family looking.

We just moved in the front office staff were very transparent and polite. Definitely haven’t experienced this type of caliber for customer service with apartments. Felica & Jessel were very knowledgeable and made our move in smooth and flexible. The Apartments were in good condition, the amenities are very nice. This community is very peaceful. Me and my Family and very pleased to have chose this spot.

I was looking for a place close to Fort Sam Houston and within my price range (i.e. cheap) and I found this place! The apartments are newly renovated so nice and new. Very sunny. I love the electronic (ADT) security and temp control. The apartments are the cheapest I found and pet friendly for a decent price too! The exterior is moderately clean, not perfect but open to the outside so there is always a little bit of debris around. The area around the apartment is fenced with a gate and pretty secure. I like to walk my dog around the grounds which at first were kind of messy and had poop everywhere. But the managers have a new guy who cleans the grounds up daily and he does a great job! He even cleans up the dog park they have (with a separate big and small dog area!) So I love taking my pet out there to play now. They also have a pool which is pretty good for the price and they take good care of it. Especially with the new grounds keeper cleaning it every Monday. He is a game changer! The neighborhood has everything you would need nearby as well (Golds Gym, Target, Whataburget, Petco, Walmsrt, HEB) and you dont have to drive far. You can even rent a garage space and a small on-site, interior storage unit if you want! (Once again all for a cheap price). They also have a small 24/7 gym room with 3x treadmills, a stairstepper, a stationary bike and dumbbells, 2x benches and a dual cable machine that can do anything you want with (unless youre a power lifter). Overall 4/5 stars but perfect for the price and pet friendly!

I absolutely love living here! Patty was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming from the very beginning. While I was in another state looking for a place to live in San Antonio, Patty answered all of my phone calls and all of my emails. She even sent me videos of the apartment. I was confident in signing the lease without even visiting the property because of the google reviews and the way Patty helped me. She was very helpful especially during the pandemic or if youre having to go through a military move, like me. I give 5 stars to everything. Its a pretty quiet community with friendly neighborhoods. The grounds is nicely kept and I always see the maintenance guy around working! I feel safe here. The surrounding neighborhood has everything you need within 2-10 min. & as I said previously, the staff is amazing. I have a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment and it is very spacious with beautiful amenities for a great price. I am extremely satisfied with my stay here and I would recommend living this place to anyone.

My entire experience with Alcove has been phenomenal. I have nothing but kind words to say for Manager Patty McArthur. She is an Angel sent from heaven itself. I found myself in a tough spot going through a divorce and she helped me every step of the way. The apartment itself is great. Very modern, with a simple layout with spacious closets. It is family owned, small, and quiet. I have no major complaints and the maintenance of the entire place is very well kept. It is a quiet community with many working professionals of all kinds. Ive even left my garage open several times and nothing has come up missing😆. They also offer military discounts on your monthly rate which is a huge plus. Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

Ive been here about a month or so and love my apartment. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Whatever questions or issues Ive had, have been taken care of as soon as I brought them up. I have a dog, and the Alcove is pet friendly, with a small dog park and apartments with yards. Besides that, its in a really nice part of San Antonio, so taking my dog on walks and going for runs is perfect. I work on Fort Sam Houston and the commute takes less then 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I love it here so far. Everything is very clean and secure. I feel very safe in this complex. Its gated and fenced. The dog park area is nice. I love the 24 hour gym, no need for membership or to drive anywhere. The club house has very friendly staff. There is a garbage pickup service, you just put your trash outside the door every night and they collect it. Enclosed personal garages available. Its very quiet, the walls are pretty thick, I have neighbors above me and barely hear them. The pool is beautiful and not crowded, it has an outdoor kitchen, very nice gas grill and fire pit. The people that live here are young professionals. There is plenty of parking. I have a nice balcony, some apartments have nice little personal fenced in grass areas. Inside the apartments are beautifully decorated, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring. My only grievance is that they do not come with a washer and dryer, hookups but no appliance, I just bought some cheap ones at Lowes, you can also rent them. I highly recommend this place.

Thanks Patty!!!!Next, the apartments are beautiful, spacious, and up to date. Everything was functional from the moment we arrived. The website is easy to navigate.The gym is 24 hrs!!! It has what u need for cardio and most workouts.The mail system is reliable and secure.The trash routine makes every easy and convenient.

Boutique-style gated community. Great decision made to stay at this complex. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and able to accommodate your needs. The rooms are quite moderate with wood floors and modern appliances, simple layouts with square footage. Lets not forget about location with minutes away from the Pearl and the Riverwalk!

Been here now for about a year. When I moved in, the complex had literally just changed management companies that weekend and thank God they did because judging from what Ive seen since then, major upgrade! Patty and Jessel are the absolute best, always willing to help out with anything you need. Since theyve gotten here I noticed the following that wasnt present before: more towels in our gym with a well-stocked bathroom, complimentary dog poop bags posted around the property for those here that have dogs, a cleaner pool and pool area during the summer, monthly resident events, and more! The maintenance guys are great too and have always come within one day of me placing a work order online (work orders that Patty and Jessel always keep up with too). This place is a small complex which I love, the floorplans are fantastic, the location is near anything you could possibly need and only a 10 minute uber to downtown. I unfortunately when I have to leave here, itll be hard for the next apartment complex I sign with to beat this one.

Gated community in a good area of town. The amenities make my life so much easier: free printing, on-site car detailing service, valet trash, staff that goes above and beyond. The leasing agents usually put on a free monthly event for the complex (i.e. yoga, breakfast, gift wrapping). It’s 10 minutes from HW gate, 12 minutes from the Pearl, 15 minutes from the airport with plenty of restaurant options around.
