    West End Auto Works has been one of the best choices I ever made to keep my car in shape. I have used this shop for the past couple of years and the service is excellent. The owner makes sure that I understand clearly what will be done when I need something repaired or replaced. I just call and let them know what is going wrong and make an appointment to take care of the issue. I also like not having to rent a car since the repairs have been done within a couple of days. There is also the bonus of roadside service and they are conveniently located.

    We were referred to the shop by a friend after spending too much money at Firestone and Petros has been nothing but fair, honest and thorough in maintaining our vehicles and repairs.     West End is my go-to when I need something done on my car, I dont feel like doing or Im mechanically unable to do.Everyone who works there seems to genuinely enjoy that place.I needed an alternator on my car and was quoted higher at multiple shops and told it would be a minimum of 3 days. West End did it in a few hours and had me up and running for less money the same day.Big shout out to John, Jose, and Mr. Petros, for keeping my old Subaru riding smooth!!

But…west end auto guarantees their work and will allow you to bring your auto back on major repairs.     I recently had a brake job done at West End Auto Works. I went in around 7:30 am one morning and didn’t have an appointment, but the service guy had one of his mechanics to take my car in anyway. After they inspected my vehicle to see exactly what needed to be done, they got started right away. I wasn’t overcharged and they didn’t try to make me get things done that I didn’t need like some mechanic shops do when they see a female. I’ve been doing business with West End Auto for a while now and they never disappoint!! If you’re ever in need of auto work, please check them out. They highly recommended, fair and consistent!!! I’ll be a customer for years to come!!

    I had a good experience with West end auto works.i brought my car there after it was stolen and they didnt even charge me for looking at it and telling me it was needing a motor and an an estimate for even fixing my steering column after it was stolen. They even went out of their way and found a place that would buy my car as is for a decent amount. I highly recommend them for thieŕ honesty and help.     These guys are phenomenal! I had to get a total brake job on a 2014 1 ton dually. They were professional, courteous, price was good, and they did what they said theyd do, when they said theyd do it. I few months later, I was having another issue. At the time I didnt realize it was related to the work theyd done. I valued my previous experience so much I reached out to them to look into this issue. They informed me it was related to the brake system, and they warrantied their work and completely did all of it again, free of charge to me!!! I was floored! You can trust these guys to tell you what is wrong with no upsells. I highly recommend!

    These are superb professionals. They are knowledgeable, honest, and fixed my car after another mechanic had improperly worked on it and messed some stuff up. (The prior mechanic worked on the rack and pinion/power steering fluid, but didn’t do it right and it led to a lot of other issues) . My car is in good hands with these guys.

    I was in Houston for the first time as part of an extended drive across part of the country and had a serious problem with my drivers side wheel bearing, which had been getting steadily worse over hundreds of miles. A friend recommended Petro at West End Auto for quality service at a fair price, and he was absolutely right. I called, arranged a time to come in, and they did in excellent job making the repair for a very fair price. Since it took several hours they also volunteered to give me ride to local restaurant of my choice, where I relaxed and ate lunch until they returned to pick me up when the car was ready. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, fair priced for excellent service, and I’d recommend them to anyone for any auto service at any time if you’re anywhere near that area of Houston.

    Petros and his team did amazing work on my classic car. They were so fast getting custom parts and repairing the engine from overheating. They even got the AC to work on this 1981 car! It was very affordable and so easy to work with, they did a full inspection of the car, told me what I needed to have done and had a terrific web interface to determine what needed to be done immediately versus waiting. Will recommend to everyone.

    Still using West End Auto in 2024, and have been with them going on 20 years! I trust them with my car and they usually dont over-sell or try to get you to do *everything* if it doesnt need it, unless you *want* to. If you cant afford the recommended service, theyll try to get you by with only what would be absolutely necessary and what would be safe to wait on. Totally trustworthy. Im not sure what I would do without them. Not the cheapest, but every time I find cheap, its usually not *good* ... These guys are GREAT and they charge a fair price for the peace of mind you get every time.

    Ive been getting my vehicle serviced here for about 3 years now. Each time, Ive had a very positive experience. The pricing is honest and fair and the mechanics do a great job. Additionally, one thing I appreciate is that West End provides a courtesy ride service, if you need a ride while your vehicle is being serviced. Finally, West End offers a pretty neat rewards programs that allows you to earn money to apply towards future service work each time your vehicle is serviced! I was able to knock off $30 on my last bill which was pretty awesome!I highly recommend West End to anyone! Keep up the great work guys!

    Great neighborhood auto garage. They did a good job tracking down a strange issue with my engine, took their time to get it done right, not rushing so they had time to test things afterwards.     This was my first time having my car serviced at this shop and I must say the experience was great!! The customer service(especially from the manager Petros) was fantastic. Someone looked at my car and gave me a great inspection about what I needed. Some things that I thought I needed, because of what another shop told me was omitted.That showed great ethics from this business. They could have just did it and took my money.     Have been taking my 2013 Nissan for several years now to West End. Was just little things like oil change, wiper blades, etc. but I noticed right away how polite they all were and they suggested when some things were needing coming up that needed to be done. For several weeks I noticed the car was riding rough so on a Monday took it in for them to check. John called me back several hours later telling me the transmission was going out. Gave me options and an estimate on how much it would cost. My son and I talked it over and I called him back telling them to go ahead and fix it. They had a new transmission in two days later!     Petros and his employees are all terrific. I like going to West End Auto Works for a number of reasons. The waiting area is always neat, clean and welcoming and set up for social distancing at this time. Whether it is Petros, or one of the employees at the front desk you are greeted by a friendly face. I have taken my car there for a few problems and this last visit the issue with my brakes was covered under warranty. What a nice surprise. Honesty is #1 in my opinion along with good work and fair pricing. This business checks all those boxes.     I went to West End Auto Works last week to have a tune up on my vehicle. As I walked in I was welcomed with open arms by the shops owner, Petros. He explained everything to me and went over what was going to be done to my vehicle. Not only did he explain what was going to be done, but he explained as to why it needed to be done. This is a rarity with any shop and a first for me. I left my vehicle there and was given a ride by one of their younger employees, Niko. Niko was quite friendly and a joy to be with. I picked up my car the next day and my car runs better than before. The prices here were beyond reasonable and I was very happy with the service I received. I would recommend West End Auto Works to all my friends and family and I will be a lifetime customer here. Not only a great and friendly staff, but a knowledgeable staff that will take care of your vehicle as if its one of their own.

    I go there regularly and Friday night my car overheated and to make a long story short I was able to get a tow truck at 3 in the morning who took it to West End Auto. They new what to do and sent me the next day through a text a detail report of what needed and it was an invoice as well. I was sooooo happy that my car was under warranty and I did not have to pay much... Great service and they vacuum um e the front of your car before thry give it to you!

So glad I did, I found the only mechanic in Houston I trust!Got my truck back the same day after going to work.Stranded there in the morning (this was before Uber was big), the owner’s friend who was in for some chit chat volunteered to take me to work - I’ll never forget that.     As a single mother my budget for car repairs is close to nothing. The first time I went to West End Auto Works my car wouldnt start. Petros charged my battery and tested it to make sure I didnt need a new one. I didnt need any work done and they didnt try to pressure me into having additional work.
