Just wanted to add an update in 2019 as these guys continue to amaze me with there ability and amazing service. We have done a new clutch and new transmission and if you havent owned an 88 wrangler, well then you dont know the complexity of these but WOW! My jeep is on a whole new lever thanks to T&K Auto! Thanks, Guys!!!!-- from 2018Brian, Phil and team are amazing! I have an 88 YJ Wrangle that has a lot of custom work and they have it running like never before! Have owned it for 12 years and been fighting a vapor locking problem so they help trouble shoot it and did a conversion to a circular fuel solution with a high pressure fuel pump. I have just spend 2 weeks driving it around in the Dallas hear and it is truly fixed!!!! I absolutely recommend these guys for whatever you need!!

Allen over at T&K Automotive at the Los Colinas location took very good care of me. My trucks transmission went out, and needed a repair. Allen kept me informed through every step of the process, what they were going to do, and how they were going to fix it. He made several calls to me to inform me on what they found, and what next steps they were going to take to get the transmission fixed - again, keeping me informed and i felt assured. From someone who uses customer service best practices in my own professional work, Allens customer service along with the rest of T&K is second to none. My experience with T&K was great. Ill be going back for any future needs.

T&K Transmission and Automotive Specialists:A couple of years ago I had been referred to T&K (from a national auto repair chain) for a possible transmission issue. I went to T&K, expecting bad news. I was surprised that they in fact said there was nothing wrong with my transmission. WOW! What a relief! I did have some other things I needed to have repaired on my car, and they performed the work on time and with excellent results! I drive a 2005 Chrysler 300, and T&K is a big part of why my car is still on the road, with over 325,000 miles on it! Philippe is GREAT to work with, is experienced and very honest. You can rely on T&K to do the job right, and at a competitive cost. Dont think they only do transmissions. They do much more!

I ended up going with T&K for an oil change after several referrals I received online. I was not disappointed! When I got there, Brian, walked me through their process and didnt try and up-sell me, and answered all of my questions. I was in a tight spot when my transmission started to stick and fail on the way to DFW airport. When I called, Mr. Scott helped me figure out a solution to my situation and put my mind at ease while I was out of town. Upon my return, I towed my car to T&K and left my jeep there, as all shops were closed on the 4th of July. They looked over my jeep the next morning and quoted me at around $1650 for the transmission work. I called another shop nearby and they gave me a similar estimate, so I authorized the work after some negotiation. The next day, Mr. Scott called me back and told me the work would only cost me $800 because some components didnt need to be replaced after all. They also flexed to allow me to pick up my car on the weekend when they were closed. Overall, I was super impressed with their honesty and professionalism as they helped me work through these issues. Transmission problems are never pleasant, but T&K definitely made a tough situation easier to deal with. Thank you!!!

Had coolant leakage in my vehicle, They fixed it and the vehicle is running good since, Have an Audi q5 with many miles on it, They made sure nothing else broke with this work and the job was done with precision. Overall the cost looked on the higher side to me, may be thats how the way it is for German cars. I recommend this place for honest and precise work. Good customer service.

Wow wow wow I can’t say enough about this place. I’m new to Dallas and didn’t know who to trust with my vehicle and after a check engine light cam on I was referred here. Alan picked up the phone with his kind demeanor and walked me through the process. We decided I would drop my car off during lunch. I pull up and meet Phil, such a kind soul, who checks the vehicle. He speaks to me about his love for Dallas, makes some recommendations, and I’m the end it was just a check engine for gas cap and they didn’t even charge for the diagnostic. When I offered Phil said just pay it forward. I will definitely be going back for all my vehicle needs. Thanks Alan and Phil for excellent customer service. These guys are Professionals! My Nissan Xterra was a crank no start and after they ran various tests they found out the problem was that my distributor was loose (most likely from another shop taking things off and not putting it back on incorrectly) they fixed the problem and that was it! No upselling or checking fluids I did not ask them to check. They got it done quick and car runs better than it has in a year. Thank yall!!! Keep up the good work!

I recently needed maintenance on my vehicle and a friend of mine told me to take it to T & K because he had a great experience there and was treated very well and the work done was top notch. I wasnt looking for the cheapest repairs because there are many repair shops to choose from to go the cheapest route. I was looking for quality work and honesty more than the cheap route. I talked to the Manager Brian Goudy when I arrived and after he went thru the processes of what my problems could be I felt very comfortable with having the work done there. He went thru everything with detail and treated me like I was a special customer. Because of him and the great work done on my vehicle I will definitely tell my family and friends to take their vehicles to T & K!! Great job to Brian and T & K!! You have a customer for life!

I went there to get my brakes changed and the service was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’m usually nervous when going to new mechanics, but they were able to ease my nerves by showing me what my brakes looked like before and after they changed it. As well as what to look for next time so they don’t get as bad as they were. I was very satisfied with the service I got.

This place is great! I was in need of an oil change on my new car and wasnt sure where to go. I had heard rave reviews about T&K so I called. I spoke with manger, Brian Goudy and he was so helpful. He explained to me the difference and importance of a regular oil change vs. synthetic. His knowledge helped me make an informed decision in the ongoing maintenance of my car and this is extremely important to me as I have purchased used cars before that had severe damage from lack of oil changes. I had a tight schedule and came in on my lunch break and Brian assured me he would get me back to work in time and he did. It was so nice to be able to run out on my lunch break and take care of this vs. waiting 3hrs at a kwik kar on my Saturday. This is now my place of choice for all future ongoing maintenance to my vehicle and my families vehicles. If you are looking for an honest business where the employees care then this is the place. Never again will I put off oil changes in fear of being taken advantage of. Now I know exactly what is needed. My expectations were exceeded and the waiting accommodations were comfortable which is important when you are a girl! Great job Brian Goudy and the T&K staff! Keep up the great work.

My brake lights suddenly went out and almost got rearended on LBJ yesterday. T&K came highly recommended by Valvoline guys who helped check the brake light fuse.It was after 2 pm today but Mr Scott worked my car onto the schedule to check it out. I am so grateful he did. I thought it would be electrical wiring with a huuuggge bill $$$ but it turned out to be my brake switch! So, instead of shopping for another vehicle, I can drive my little 2006 Mercury Milan for a little while longer! Yay!

Brain Goudy is great! I have an older model SRV, which I love and plan to keep for awhile, it is in pretty decent shape but needs a little TLC maintenance. They fixed my broken hatch, and a couple other basic repairs....all at a decent price. Picked me up from my job, when repairs were completed. I am thrilled to finally find a shop that I can go into and not feel like I am being taken advantage of, Thanks guys. See ya soon for my suspension work.

This place is by far the place to go to, i have went around town looking for a shop willing to help me out with my problems with my truck ( 5.4 lariat v8 2007) the issues that i was having was, seems like it was having trouble getting from gear to gear, i have went to many places, they told me it was my transmission over and over again. Will i have a friend that visited T&K, told me that they were fantasic, worked with him and didnt screw him over, i wanted to see for my self so i called and spoke with Brian Goudy the General Manager, i got to say one of the most well educated about vehicles that i have ever talk to, he knows what he is doing, the guys there will walk you step by step ensure that you get your car in tip top condition, and come to find out i didnt need a transmission repair all i needed was a tune up ( spark plug ), my truck is running better then ever i love it, i would give these guys more stars if i could, i will continue to keep going to T&K from here on out all my family and friends are are going here Best place ever thank you Brian and guys from T&K
