Going into summer and had an AC that no longer cooled. Chip gave us several options and didnt just push a complete system replacement. We eventually went with just replacing the outside unit which Chip worked late into the night to install because he was worried about us not having cooling during when it was starting to get hot. Got a great new unit that is much more efficient than our old unit and has worked flawlessly throughout this summer. Straight-forward, easy to work with, quality work. Highly recommend.

Chris is absolutely extraordinary! First time using him 9/25/24. He showed up had my AC operational before he departed all within two hours.The back story. I had two previous opinions from two other service techs both from reputable AC companies in the DFW area. Their opinions of the problem were identical. Both talked about multi-part replacement or total AC replacement as a solution. The two service techs left me in the lurch.Chris showed up, came in identified the issue in less than 5 minutes, repaired the unit with one part (not several) I was operational again within two hours. His solution saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs.Chris is a true GOD send and answered prayer!

Chip has been a godsend for my husband and I since we moved to McKinney (our first house). We met him through our next door neighbor and we are so thankful that we did. We have had him come to our house every 6 months and he always checks the heat/AC. There was even a time when we had an “issue” that we thought was the AC, and he determined the root cause was a bad breaker on our electrical panel and he replaced that breaker for us and we haven’t had any issues since!

Chip came out to my business as a recommendation from my neighbor when I was in desperate need!!!… I previously spent thousands of dollars trying to get my poorly installed AC (Not by CHIP) to work properly…over 3 years I had over 50 service call for my AC … Chip was real and down to earth and recommended some temporary fixes that have worked for MONTHS… with my AC that’s huge to me! He’s also really nice, easy to be around and doesn’t do these outrages recommendations, that I always got… Chip is great and I HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

Our AC broke down at 9pm in the middle of those horrible Texas summer heat waves, and I called the company expecting to hear that I needed to wait until the next day, but instead Chip tells me he has a couple of other jobs and once he finishes he will swing by! Chip shows up with his lantern and his gear at 11pm and gets our AC running. I have never been more thankful! He came back the next morning to replace a piece that needed to be replaced and our unit ran smoothly since. Chip is now our go to guy for all things HVAC including maintenance, inspections, etc. He’s always professional, shows up on time and his prices are very reasonable. A++++ all around

If youre needing your AC repaired and looking for the most knowledgeable technician in all of Texas then you dont need to look any further! Chip with Texas 1st Choice is the ONE. Hes honest, professional and he can fix a unit that most would tell you needs replacing. Thats exactly what happened to me.. My AC went out last summer and I had a repairman come to look at it. He came in stopped at the thermostat, turned on the unit felt the vent and announced that my whole system nedded to be replaced. He never even went outside to look at anything else. And said for $6000 he could fix me up. (more like bend me over) I thanked him for his time and showed him the door. My friend referred this guy she knew named Chip and called hiim for me. Mind you this was around 10:00 pm. But to my suprise the doorbell rang and he was there to fix my AC. He came in turned it on then said hed be right back. About 10 or 15 minutes later he came back in with two little worn out valvesin a baggie and said Ok youre all set. And it was actually starting to cool off inside before he came back in. I stood there with my jaw dropped and the aww started to fade a bit i asked him how much I owed him, he said $60 and again i stood there with my jaw dropped. A repair that i was first told couldnt be done, he got it done in about 15 minutes at 10:00 at night and for only $60.00!!! So when I tell you to serch no more trust me...stop looking cause you just found the BEST!!! CALL HIM!!

I highly recommend Chip. He fixed our A/C going out last year and this year, added a duct line to the master bedroom for better ventilation and cooling. Pricing is more than reasonable. He provides his honest opinion and educates you with what issue you have going on and tips for maintenance. His goal is for you to see him less. He prevented our A/C pan from overflowing which was caused by a clogged pipe and we plan to have a floater switch installed to signal us in the future.

My experience was actually while staying at my son-inlaws in princeton. I watch my granbabies during summer and of course I noticed within the first 4 days the air just wasnt getting cold i thought maybe its on fan and not AC. Wrong. As well we discovered my grandaughters closet floor had a puddle of water that of course should not have been there. So my son inlaw called Texas First Choice as he was told by a neighbor they were very reliable and honest. Of course anyone can say such about a company especially if its a friend of a friend but the neighbor assured us it was the company he used.Let me tell you this company and their team, yes team not coworkers these guys came in worked the job as if they were on a team and it was sudden death. They not only diagnosed and fixed the problem within a few hours. Plus these guys they were so careful to wear shoe covers like doctors and were mindful of the little one napping. Thank you on a great job and a great work ethic. Im not sure the names of the gentleman but I know If Im asked if I know of anyone reliable its definitely gonna be these guys.TEXAS 1ST CHOICE HEAT & AIR

Excellent work! Reasonable prices! Very honest technician. We had an issue that 4 other companies stated they could not find and stated we needed to buy a new unit. We called this company and they came out, walked outside and within maybe 2 minutes found the issue and had it fixed right away. They even helped us correct a few other things that were wrong on the unit from the original install and the technician did those things to help preserve the life of the unit. We do have an older a/c but he made some adjustments to help get a few more years out of it, if possible. I know since he was here our A/C has never been colder and our electric bill is even lower now. We will only be using this company from now on!

Chip has been a god send to us! We got a brand new unit in 2021. We have had nothing but trouble with the unit since we got it. Chip has come out, sometimes at 8 at night and done whatever he could to get us up and running all of the times it has crashed on us. He has fixed so many issues due to the incompetence of the previous company that we got the new unit through. Chip really has saved our family from sweating to death in the midst of the summer more times than I can count. He ALWAYS answers and is great at communicating what is wrong with our system. He also has fair pricing and will go above and beyond to get whatever needs to be done, done; and to make sure your family is comfortable. I wont trust anyone else!
