A+ Rated Customer ExperienceMatt, and James at Southwest Care Center are awesome. They always have a friendly greeting. I needed a reliable repair shop outside of the dealership. I had a list of things needed to be done from the dealership, but I wasn’t sure if all of it was necessary. Being that I know nothing about vehicles, they both thoroughly explained what needed to be done. It was half the list and cost. Their professionalism won me over as a new customer. I have taken two cars to this establishment and have left very pleased! I will definitely be a returning customer!

Best mechanic experience in awhile!This family owned and operated business is an excellent place to bring your car to. Though I didn’t need a repair, James was very thorough in explaining the bumper-to-bumper inspection, and I would feel comfortable bringing my vehicle for repair.

I had a car breakdowns and needed repairs where I used Southwest Car Care. I asked a friend who was very much into cars for a recommendation for an auto service center. He recommended Southwest Car Care and Matt and James when my car broke down at the end of the day. They went out of their way to get me going again. I had to use them after that, and they always gave me sound advice of what really needed to be fixed, and what to consider in the future. Matt and James always seem to have good instincts on whats wrong with the car when I was uncertain, even though I used to do much of my car work in the past. I highly recommend them as you will have such a difficult time finding such knowledgeable an experienced mechanics that you can trust with your car. They even recommended against a fluid service when I thought it needed to be done. I am so pleased I now have a dependable auto center I can trust in.

Summer is Hot Hot Hot and when your AC goes out during the dog days of summer it can bring you down real quick. I began searching Yelp and Google for reviews on a reliable AC repair spot and Southwest Car Care kept showing up with top reviews. I called and scheduled a time to come in and they took care of my issue. I needed a new compressor and condenser for my cars AC. After 11 years the AC went out on my vehicle and they diagnosed the issue right away after a few tests. My repairs were completed within in 24 hours and all is good now. I have to thank these guys for their honesty and accurate estimate of how long this would take. I highly recommend them. James and Matt kept me informed from start to finish and I will definitely be back if anything else comes up.

I highly highly ( yes 2 highlys) recommend Southwest Car care. Matt , Ben and James provide excellent customer service and mechanical knowledge to their customers. They installed a part I brought to them for a very reasonable price also I had a code come up that prevented me from passing inspection Matt and Ben explained to me the problem and in no time they fixed the issue and I passed inspection. No extra unnecessary services that other shops try to push on you. Just good old fashion customer service .

Ive been a loyal customer at Southwest Car Care Center for nearly a decade. I always get top-notch service, accurate advice, and fair pricing. The Meinen family has never steered me wrong, from the purchase of a used vehicle (saying no to several prospects and giving two thumbs up on the truck Ive owned for nearly 8 years), to letting me know about upcoming maintenance my vehicles will need so I can plan ahead. My Expedition is nearly 12 years old with 160K miles and still gives reliable service every day thanks to the expert care it receives from Southwest. There is no other shop I can recommend as highly as this one.

Excellent and unparalleled car care. They have a great A/C service (really important in Houston), they are knowledgeable, friendly, willing to explain to you everything they do, and everything you need to know about taking care of your car. Matt and James are very smart, very helpful, and very honest. My family and I have been using them since the 90s or so and weve never had a single problem with them. Honestly one of the best small businesses in Houston. I only wish they had the software to fully diagnose and work with more technical problems on Volkswagen vehicles, because Id rather take my VW here than anywhere else.

Took my 2015 Dodge Durango to them for routine maintenance. I called and spoke with Matt who was very helpful and friendly over the phone. He gave me the price and went in to detailed about what all they would do. When I dropped my truck off they even offered to give me a ride back to work. My truck was ready shortly after and was in great condition and the price he quoted on the phone was the actual price I paid. Family own and operated. They are men of integrity and honor and did a wonderful job. I will be going back to see them for any other vehicle needs.Thank you Guys!!

My AC was broken and the Dodge dealership told me they could not get me in until the next day and said I would have to leave my car for 3 to 5 days! WOW! I called Southwest Car Care and they said to bring it in and they would be happy to check it out right away since it was so hot outside. I brought it in and dropped it off. They then shuttled me to my office. (how nice!) Within a few hours they called me told me it was a bad circuit board and they could have it fixed before the end of they day. I said, PLEASE do that! They had it all fixed before 4 pm! AWESOME service and super nice people! I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks guys....your rock!!

Time and time again we are impressed with great service (quick, great communication and fair prices). FYI pricing is much lower than dealership rates and the repair turn-around is quick - if they can fix it while you wait they will. Ask around old-time Katy locals and they will tell you Southwest Car Care is one of the few truly HONEST companies out there. Its family run and high on integrity. If you are looking for a great Mechanic that wont rip you off, look no further.

17 year old Mercury Marauder 170,000 miles new paint. check engine light is on I hope its bad injector not my luck burnt valve. Ford said they had a remanufacturered engine Matt and James said they would do the swap. Ford did not have the engine sent wrong one. Southwest quickly call me with plan B they had engine rebuilt and installed in a little over 10 business days. Back on the road again running stronger than before. Thank you Southwest I can always count on your good judgment and expertise
