This place is amazing, I had a problem with my car battery and was told at an auto parts store that I had a bad alternator. Come here and even though they were busy, with workers out on jobs, they took the time to look at my car and fit me in. Even more amazing they took the time and care to actually look (and show me) the actual problem before replacing the alternator, which was a dirty connection and loose cables. Christmas came early when I decided to stop here!!!!!!

This is the BEST mechanic shop!!!! My friend and I were leaving a conference in Austin headed back to Houston when our car started to over heat late in the afternoon. We had no place to stay and called them to see if we could head that way. The sweet woman stayed on the phone to make sure we didn’t get lost and the mechanic checked our vehicle and was able to diagnose the problem and get us back on the road and asked for nothing!!!! He knew we were nervous and didn’t want to drive in the dark. WOW you don’t find many good honest sweet people like this anymore. They make the world a better place!!!!

For a mechanic to stop what he’s doing to help me when I was out of town means a lot. That kind of service is rare. It was a simple fix but I can’t praise this place enough for the service. Also, the front counter ladies aren’t just helpful but experienced in the automotive industry. I highly recommend this business, and easily give it 5 stars.

Had a bad radiator leak that had me stranded in la grange. I called here and spoke to a friendly lady. Who was able to recommend a tow truck to their shop. The technician was able to identify the problem. My vehicle was fixed before the end of the next day. The service here was great! Maintenance also timely. Choosing this local shop was a positive experience.🐶

Great service at great prices. These guys can do pretty much anything, as far as I can tell, and except for being hard-pressed to keep up with the flow of faithful fans (thats a good thing) they are exceptional in every aspect. Highly recommended.

These folks are the best! Connie is very accommodating and friendly. Sometimes when I have to bring a vehicle to the shop, I get hit with a surprise or expenses I wasnt expecting, but these folks are honest, dependable and quick. Amazing customer service! I was stranded in La Grange they were able to fit me into their schedule and have my car back to me by the end of the day. Hands down these people are amazing. Also, they worked with my extended warranty for me.

This automotive repairs shop is a very fine operation. I had an issue with my 2001 Dodge 4x4 diesel transmission. Fully expected to pay for a rebuild. Since I didnt know how to check the fluid level (running in Neutral) the dip stick had what appeared to be plenty of Trans fluid, but it was actually 4+ quarts low causing the slippage. The could have gotten away with charging me for a rebuilt transmission, but they are an honest outfit and simply told me its fine, filled it, serviced it and boom on the road again. I had bought a rebuild kit for my hydroboost leaking. When I asked them if they would do the rebuild they would not and gave me a great reason, they had rebuilt several over the years and they couldnt get them to stop leaking...so when they told me that it was worth it to go remanufactured which doesnt leak. Lastly they observed my rear axle leaking and I let them head on and fix it. For all of this they could have taken my poor farm boy budget to the cleaners but La Grange Automotive and Transmission is better than that, they are just awesome. We will use them again and I would recommend you use them if you need them. - Joe Kindred

Connie, Donnie and Lisa are just the friendliest people . They have worked on both our diesel and gas vehicles. They are very professional and they really know what they are doing. When you bring your car to them, you know you’re in good hands.
