On July 31st, I called Haker Heights Heating and Air Conditioning very late, but Luke( the owner) picked up the call and said he would be at my house the next morning. Sure enough, he was there right around 8 am. As I explained the issue, he knew what could be the problem and went to work into the unit in my garage. He found that the blower motor was dead and replaced it within 30 min. What a quick turnaround. Now understand this. My home warranty, Choice Home Warranty, did not have anyone available for me even if I placed a claim on Saturday, August 1st. Imagine in this heat run to be told by your home warranty that no one has responded yet. Truly, Luke saved us and his price was very reasonable given the turn around and the high demand around town for help.I will call him again if that ever happens.He was one solid man with great work ethic and customer service.Thanks, Luke.🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Do NOT call anyone else...We had a new outdoor unit installed by another company about five years ago. Turned out to be a bad unit so we called the original company, and of course, no answer, and no return call in the middle of July. So we randomly got in touch with Another company who wanted $150 to show up after hours when we called at 9am on a weekday. Well, we didnt do that. We finally got in touch with Luke about an hour later. He said he was super swamped that day and promised he would get to us before he went home. Three hours later he was at the house and working. Identified the issue, although it did take a minute because we had a small leak inside the unit. But Luke is thorough, and explained everything as he was doing it. He was very transparent when it came to pricing and scheduling. We purchased a brand new unit and had it installed within 24hrs of the initial call. Luke is friendly, helpful, and professional. Hes only a one man team mostly, although he did bring a helper for the installation. They cleaned up everything when they left and took the old unit for us. We simply will not call anyone else.

This company is awesome! When our AC broke, they came out as soon as we called them. Shane is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and explained and showed me everything. I’ve had ongoing drainage issues with my A/C for going on 3 years. It has been worked on by another local company and then multiple times by an individual since it started causing problems and it still wasn’t fixed. My house got cool without issue, but running the A/C caused a major leak in my living room ceiling. The leak has caused major damage and cost me hundreds once already for repairs and will cost hundreds more to be repaired again.Shane Lucas came to my house the day after I contacted him. He let me know when he was on his way, put a mask and gloves on when he got here (COVID precaution), did a very thorough inspection and talked me through everything he was doing and looking for. He was courteous and professional. Since I hadn’t been running the A/C, he couldn’t see the active leak and ended up having to make an additional couple trips, but he was available and flexible in scheduling, as I needed to reschedule once. Shane made sure I knew everything he was doing when he was doing it and gave me a quote ahead of time. When the work was done, he gave me the same price he quoted me. Payment was quick and easy and he was very appreciative. Icing on the cake - my dog loved him!I’ve now been running the A/C both upstairs and downstairs (two zones) all day to test things out and so far, no leaking ceiling!!! That’s the first time in over two years! Fingers crossed it continues and Shane fixed the issue for me, but he guaranteed the work and said he will keep in touch for a couple weeks to ensure everything is working properly.Even if I need Shane to come back because the leak happens again, he proved himself knowledgeable and professional enough to get it taken care of. Because of his excellent customer service and fair pricing, I highly recommend Shane Lucas and Harker Heights Heating and Air Conditioning!

We’ve needed parts replaced on our ancient unit twice within the past 6 months. Both times Luke showed up within 30 minutes, diagnosed, replaced, and fixed in less than two hours from my original call. Pricing was reasonable both times, making sure that were cool in this Texas heat without breaking the bank. Strongly recommend!

This is an amazing AC service. The hottest day of the year made my AC go out. This was discovered after 7 pm. Thankfully this business stays open later than most. Shane was here within 30 minutes and my issue was fixed the same day. I will recommend this business to everyone I know! Thanks!

I had been having issues with the ac unit for a little awhile. Sometimes our place would cool down and other times it wouldn’t but the air would just run. I called 2 other places before I got to this business. Those other businesses were booking a week out and I couldn’t wait that long. When I called him, he was able to come out the same exact day and within an hour or hour and half!! I was so pleased and he was able to fix it within 15 mins and I could cool my house back down again 😌 I definitely recommend them, I’m just so pleased he could come and fix it the same day with it already being so late in the day, thank you so much !

Today I called heating & air conditioner in Harker Heights. I told Luke that my a/c stop working. Not only did he come to my house early to help me, Luke was honest with me and very professional, knew exactly what was wrong with my AC unit. Luke fix my AC unit right away got the job done fast. Guy came out with minimal time spent on phone. Diagnosed problem quickly. Because it was already late they had to come back the following morning with the replacement part. The next morning they called ahead to say they could come even earlier than agreed on (8am). Punctual, professional and effective. I spent much less than I ever have with our usual HVAC go to. Will be using this company for all future HVAC needs. Highly Recommend.

Called this company because they were recommended by both my neighbors. Apparently the company has branched out to the Waco area and now services my area. The owner came out to fix my thermostat look up the whole system made some recommendations and set up a plan for the summer service. Not only was he punctual, he has a reputation for doing good business. absolutely will use again.
