    Frosty Joes highly recommended for all A/C maintenance and repairs.Was having issues with A/C not blowing cold at night, so called them next morning.     Last week Joe and his assistant came out the very same morning I called. Our AC had gone out the night before and he had it right back up in no time. Visit took 15 minutes tops!There was also a headphone cord wrapped and melted around the fan...(what!?). They helped with getting that off as well.Very pleasant experience. They were both extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend them for anyone needing AC/heater troubleshooting. And we will certainly use them going forward.     Had another AC company install a new system for me and they did a horrible job that couldn’t even pass the city inspection but fortunately I found Frosty Joe and he was able to correct all the mistakes and get my unit up and running safely. It’s very difficult to come in and fix someone else mistakes but Joe and his team did it without hesitation. He knew that the other AC company had damaged my doorbell wiring and he went out of his way to repair it without even mentioning it; it’s those small things that make you stand out from all the rest. They were very friendly and professional and most of all honest. You know when you call Frosty Joe you are getting a reputable company that gives good customer service and quality workmanship at a fair price and if I could give more than 5 Stars I definitely would.

    Husband and I recently purchased a new house, the AC was fairly new but started acting up during the heat wave this 2020. Frosty Joes was very fast, efficient and attentive to our needs.     This is the best AC Service in San Antonio. Our 19 year old AC unit stop working on Friday, Frosty Joes did a quick repair and then he came back Sunday morning to replace our AC with a new unit. Installation was fast and very professional, making sure everything was sealed and perfect installation. Frosty Joes also installed a new digital thermostat. Excellent service and the best price.     My AC stopped working on aSunday evening. I called a repairman I previously used. He said he was busy and would call me back. Monday I still didnt hear from him. I searched for another repair person near me. Frosty Joe popped up and it showed he was near me. I called and he came Monday evening. Checked my AC, found the problem, but would not be able to get the part until the next day. He offered to loan a window unit as my wife was bothered by the heat. We declined as we did not have an available window for it. He returned the next morning, took the bad part off, left to get the part, returned and fixed the AC. Frosty Joe is great and I will be keeping his number for future use. Frosty Joe is knowledgeable, fast, dependable, and just a very nice person!

    Hired Frosty Joe to come service my AC. He showed up on time, was clean (wore foot protectors), and made sure that I got everything I needed (nothing I didnt) done.     Excellent service! Joe is incredibly fair in his prices and very good at his job. Weve had him out twice (different repairs) and each time he knew exactly what to do without charging us an arm and a leg or insisting on an upgrade. Hes also apprenticing his daughter, and was not only teaching her AC repair, he also made sure she knew to avoid the mud in our yard so that it didnt get tracked in. Gotta love that kind of respect!

    Joe and his assistant (his daughter) came to my house to give me a 2nd opinion and a quote to replacement my downstairs ac coil that was leaking Freon . He worked around my work schedule which means he had to come after 6 pm. He was very professional , courteous and helpful with explaining what I needed to get repaired on my system. He was able to get the part the same week unlike the other ac company I got the previous quote from and he even did extra services that the previous company was not going to do unless I paid extra. He arrived on Saturday morning with his crew and they got it done within 5 hours like he quoted me. I highly recommend this family AC/Heating repair company over any big AC/ Heating repair company.

    We had an a/c go out last year, and they came out without trying to sign up a yearly service contract to inspect. I really appreciate that aspect, a trip fee vs a contract wins any day.Did a great job of communicating what was wrong and my options. Very professional, and helped me with some forms for a rebate. Installation went smoothly, and its been working great!Called em back a year later for the second a/c unit, and he came out very quickly and again just a complete professional. If the unit ends up needing replacement, I will be calling him to install that one as well.

His fees are extremely reasonable and affordable!I never have service techs in my home when I am by myself-for safety reasons. I was very comfortable with Joe.Woke up yesterday to water leaking from ceiling. After a plumber came out, was told it was the AC (both are located in attic). Called Frosty Joes and he was at my home in an hour. The drain pan had tilted due to particle board (instead of plywood which should have been used) warping which caused the water dripping. He took care of it temporarily and came back out today to fix the problem permanently. He also did maintenance on both my units outside.

    This was the second time I called on Frosty Joes. I thought our thermostat wasnt working properly and it was actually our outside ac unit. Joe made it back the next day to replace it! I will not call another company.Joe was such a professional. I had reached out to him and he made time in his day to come check out my ac just because he heard frustration in my voice. I am a pregnant mom, with children in my home and 90 degree weather without ac is less than ideal. He recharged the ac unit. I was able to get my air handler replaced the next business day and it was installed promptly by Joe and his crew. I really appreciated the promptness and caring customer service.     We had to called Frosty Joe to replace our a/c on Mother’s Day. They can out with no hesitation, and no extra charge. Getting to work right away and cleaning up after themselves.     Frosty Joe Saved The Day! I was having problems with my heater not turning on after running the AC all summer long. It was literally the first cold(ish) day and I was worried about my 3 year old getting sick. I called Frosty Joe said he was in the area and could be at my house in about 2 hours. 1 hour later he showed up and was working on my heater up in the attic. (Absolutely no mess to follow) My 3 year son was so excited to see him he wanted to help with his toy tools and flash light.     : I reached out to Joe late on Tuesday night. Joe replied with in minutes and let me know he could fit me in late afternoon the next day. The following day joe called me by 10:00am and was in the area of my home and could get to me earlier. He quickly showed up diagnosed the problem and had my unit up and running in less then an hour. Not only were my expectations exceed on how quick the service was I believed the entire condensing unit may have needed replacing. Joe could have sold me a new unit and instead found a much simpler issue and saved me thousands of dollars.     My thermostat was reading 82 with it set at 71. I have 2 disabled children and my 90 yr old mom who cannot handle this Texas heat.Joe was on an out of town job in Poteet, but made time to swing by to check it out!     What a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I called Joe late on a Saturday that my elderly fathers AC had gone down, and it was expected to be over 100* the next day. Joe was happy to come out first thing on a Sunday morning, and took care of my father quickly.     Called at 930pm on a Saturday night after we noticed the AC in our house wasnt working. Arrived in less than 30mins! Very upfront with problem and repair costs. Initially didnt have the replacement part. He agreed to show up first thing in the morning with the part to fix it. However, less than 30mins later the technician called back and one of his other guys had the exact part needed to fix my AC unit. Technician drove across town in the middle of the night and returned to my house at 11pm and had everything fixed before midnight! Cost was exactly at described earlier in the night and very reasonable (especially considering the day/time).Cant recommend Frosty Joes enough! Definitely saved my family from a hot, uncomfortable Summer night of no A/C. Would give 10 stars if I could. Will definitely be using them in the future for any AC/Heating services!!

    Could not possibly be happier with our new Air Conditioning System!Joe was our lead technician and gave us incredibly informative advice on which system would work best to replace our old A/C and what the advantages of different systems versus costs would be such as dehumidifier features and higher efficiency and even took care of everything to get us a rebate from CPS for installing such an energy efficient unit!Our house was a challenge as it is an older home and the original furnace and coil were installed in a very tight spot / closet and “made to fit” back in the day.Regardless, Joe was able to order a coil that could work for our space and his team fit us into their schedule on 3 days notice.They arrived early, were dressed very professionally and were incredibly polite and respectful.They walked us through the process of what would be done and why and even pointed out to us some of the details of what they did and why.In the end, we have a clean and beautiful install on what used to look like a crammed closet and could not be happier with the performance of our A/C.We went with the Bryant system which dehumidies the air and our air is not only cold (and gets there quickly) but also very CRISP if that makes any sense.The digital thermostat (which they relocated at no extra charge) looks sleek and integrated to our iphone seamlessly and even has a quick access icon on my phone settings which blows the Nest (which we previously had) out of the water.I could go on and on because in a world where good service is the exception rather than the norm, it is so refreshing to do business with people that still value their customers and are so passionate about and take so much pride in what they do.So if you are reading this, trust me, call these guys, considering they were much cheaper than some of the other companies we had contacted.This is a no brainer!Thanks again Joe !

    I came across Frosty Joes on the Next door app. I didnt have any hvac work done, however Joe and his wife were nice enough to wall mount my tv for me. I had been looking everywhere but most places wanted a ridiculous amount of money. Joe and his wife did all the work at a fair price and were thorough.     The service to my AC was VERY thorough and all my questions were answered. Filter changed, outdoor unit inspected and cleaned. I have 2 large outdoor dogs that have hay in their igloos in the winter months... so the filth was impacted!!! The attic unit was checked and all the work resulted in a very smooth running unit!!! I forgot to ask if he was prior military but just the way they moved seemed as if they were. The price I was given was not the cheapest or the most expensive it was in the middle and fair.
