    5 stars across the board!! Extreme Comfort installed our new AC and Furnace 11 years ago; and have helped keep it running ever since. Today, our fan suddenly stopped working. Humberto was extremely friendly and professional, taking the time to explain what he was doing and why. What could have been a major repair/replacement expense turned out to be a relatively minor fix of a fuse and contactor box. I will definitely recommend Extreme Comfort to friends and family.     When my heater broke at the worst possible time, I called Extreme Comfort and they sent a technician within 30 minutes. The technician conducted thorough diagnostics and presented two options: replace an expensive board on the 20-year-old system or get a new system with a 10+ year warranty. The owner spent over an hour with me on multiple phone calls, providing clear, helpful information without trying to upsell me. They offered multiple options based on my house requirements. The new system was installed the very next day. I couldnt be happier with their professionalism, attention to detail, and service. I highly recommend Extreme Comfort Air Conditioning and Heating.     The experience was great. Professional and knowledgeable repair people. Had to do some “diagnostics” after the repair of my motherboard, but they figured it out. Quotes were given before repair started and actually came in less than expected.Would recommend.

    First snow and bitter temperatures of 2025, needless to say, my heater quit in the night I woke to my home being a crispy 47°. I searched for a heating and air company and randomly picked Extreme. Im very happy I did! They were prompt with arrival even in our inclement weather. The tech humberto was a pleasure to work with! He was very polite, I felt he was very honest, and he even had me laugh in a stressful situation. The owner who I spoke with on development occasions I feel the same as I do Humberto. I highly highly would recommend Extreme! The job did NOT put me in the poor house, I was reasonably charged!

    Humberto is the best HVAC tech we have ever had! He is always on time & between he and Mark (owner) we are never charged for things that we don’t need. If you want to have an HVAC system that lasts longer than its years, please reach out to Mark and get one of their service plans either 1, 2, 3, 4, or five-year plan. This scheduled care will help your system run better and cost you less money over time. Protect your investment, protect your loved ones!Update: We recently had a problem with our chimney stacks that were pointed out by Umberto suggesting that they were not up to code. We took Hubertos suggestions seriously and had our roofing company correct the situation (shout out to Royal Roof). We contacted Extreme Comfort to inspect the corrections made on the Heating and water heater stacks. Tony came out the next day, arrived on-time inspecting all changes made checking for C02 leaks, heat shielding, required materials, joint connections, and required height of stacks, etc. giving us a thumbs up at no extra cost! Love these guys! Like I said earlier, they are worth every dime and please seriously consider purchasing one of their maintenance plans...this could literally save your life.

You had placed several units at my home and when we were having trouble finding someone to repair an HVAC at a rental unit at work where a newborn had just come home -- you were able to go same day and install the unit the next day so the baby and family would not be in the cold!!!     Been using Extreme Comfort Air for 12 years. They come once a year to do a yearly service call. They are through, polite & honest. Last year a part went out. Fortunately, the part was covered & they replaced it. We were responsible for trip charge plus labor. Out unit is an expensive unit & its important we get it serviced once a year.     The Extreme Comfort installation team just finished installing our two new Carrier 5 and 3 Ton A/C and furnace systems. Tony Alfaro and his team did a remarkable job explaining the process and keeping me in the loop on their progress. They were patient with my questions, and I ask a lot of questions, and they went the extra mile fulfilling a couple minor reconfiguration requests on the attic part of my install. I’ve used Extreme Comfort for maintenance and service over the last 15 years and they have never tried to up sell me on anything, and have always offered excellent advice and service.     I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Extreme Comfort A/C and Heating. My 3 year old A/C system installed by a competitor in my new home experienced complete failure. When that company came out they were pushy and not concerned about me, my home, or my system. A friend recommended Extreme Comfort A/C and Heating. They thoroughly inspected my entire system. Joey, the service technician explained to me that when my current system was installed many shortcuts were taken which likely led to the failure of my evaporator coil. I also had mold forming in my plenum (where the air comes in) because it was made of inferior material. For about the same price the competitor wanted to charge me Extreme Comfort came in and revamped and repaired my shoddy system into a system with INTEGRITY. I received so much VALUE for the money I spent. Ive posted some pictures of the shoddy workmanship from the first company, and then what my system looks like after Extreme Comfort reworked it. They care about their customers and take pride in their work; OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION, SERVICE AND VALUE. Thank you Extreme Comfort A/C and Heating!

    We first used Exteme Comfort Air Conditioning and Heating when they replaced our downstairs ac unit in August 2023.     I purchased a new ac unit since my old one gave out. It was a very stressful situation since inflation and thinking it was going to cost over what i had originally initiated. I felt comfort when I got quotes and came with warranty. I like how they informed me how to keep up the maintenance since it was a brand new machine. These guys are genuine and in the right business as i have heard crazy stories before with bad services. Considering that i am located in dallas they were still able to assist me. I had many reassurance that i can lean on to them when i need them. They are a call away for any questions and concerns. They have a great team and I was glad they have english and Spanish speaker. To top it all off, I did needed some free-on and set me an appointment for soonest availability. Considering it was 4th of july and understood there could be some delay or they could have been closed. They answered my phone call and stayed in contact with me throughout. I am a woman and i was very glad they sent me a picture of a person who was going to stop by. Very thoughtful especially for safety. Overall 10/10 rating

    Based on recommendations from several family members, I called Extreme Comfort to come look at my a/c unit that was not blowing cold air. To start with....they answer the phone. They worked with my schedule and arranged for technicians to show up that afternoon. The two guys that showed up were amazing. Tommy and Joey were both friendly and professional. Best of all, they were knowledgable. After some diagnosis time, they found a wire in my compressor that had been chewed by a rodent. They fixed the wire and my a/c was working again. Work ethic and honesty seem to be more rare everyday Extreme comfort clearly has both. I will be using them for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.

    Fair pricing on good equipment with decent warranty. Crew was competent and were polite and professional in home, and when interacting with them during install. Couple minor problems with our install, but company had people back immediately (not weeks later when slowed down, nope- couple guys came at the end of a long day of some other customers install to fix it ASAP); A few hiccups aside, this company went above and beyond to prove they care about building lasting relationships with customers. We will be calling them again for replacement of our other system, and other repairs when those needs arise. Estimator Earle was a 20+ year veteran in HVAC and zero used car salesman vibe; very knowledgeable and straight forward guy, he was a large part of why they won the job, Juan and David are rock stars, and folks at headquarters were very awesome and helpful. 10/10

    I have used these guys for both AC maintenance, new AC installation and heat maintenance. They have been amazing every time. The two times they came out with a simple fix they waived the fees.     Recently my AC decided it was time to stop right in the middle of a heat wave. When I called Extreme Comfort they came out immediately and told me that it would require work to the tune of around $1k. I scheduled service and when Joey and Tommy visited to do the work, they told me they had a solution that was only $250. And now I am freezing. Every time I call, they come as soon as possible and its not about price gouging. If they can find a less expensive way, they will. I go to no one else.

    This company is the real deal! I hired Extreme Comfort to replace my HVAC unit 2 years ago and, at that time, they were great: fair price, quick turn-around, quality install. Since then, Ive had a couple of issues that required service. They have been responsive and professional: prioritized my service calls, arrived on time, kept me informed, fixed the problems, stayed with me until we were confident things were working, then cleaned everything up before they left. Most recently EJ and Joey answered an emergency call to replace the compressor that malfunctioned and (quite literally) blew up! Again, very professional service from the repair men and the home office. They fit me into the schedule within a day, replaced the unit and didnt even charge me for the parts or the service call - even after 2 years.     I chose Extreme Comfort to install a 3 ton 16 SEER system. This included the exterior compressor, interior furnace and interior coil. We received two bids. Earle was patient, reasonable and knowledgeable during the quote process and listened to my thoughts and concerns. He did not attempt to oversell me or speed through the process. I felt like I received a reasonable price. On the day of service Tony, Vicente and Noel showed up and got straight to work. They left my home in the same condition they found it and walked me through some of the components of the interior unit, furnace and exterior unit. I will use them to service the unit in the fall and will hope the new system provides great cooling and heat for the next 10-15 years.

    I had Extreme install a new system and paid for an extended warranty in 2016 and it has been running well ever since. That is until about 2 days ago. I called at 6:30 pm and someone actually answered. I was blown away. I got on the calendar for a next day service call. Ron the diagnostic tech arrived during the appointment window and called ahead of time as promised. The sight glass failed which is very unusual and the unit lost its charge. Since it was such an unusual failure Ron couldnt fix it right away. The weather has been mild so I was ok waiting until the next days scheduled repair window. The next day was the same as before. Joey called ahead of time and had to cover a lot of ground while avoiding a major gas leak/closed roads in the area. He got to work right away and had us up and running in a couple of hours. Joey really delivered for us as the temps are rising and we had great chat waiting for the unit to charge. I will say Im a difficult customer with high expectations of contractors because I work in a similar industry. That being said, I usually walk away disappointed and angry. That is not the case here. Extreme Comfort really stepped up and took great care of me and my family today. I am extremely pleased with everything they did. Everything that was promised was delivered. Thats all I ask for and expect. I recommend you use Extreme Comfort for your HVAC needs. I know Ill be calling them again when its time to add A/C to my weekend cabin.

My mother, sister, and I have all had our heating and Air conditioning units replaced by Extreme Comfort!! They do an Incredible job!! When I got my AC and Heating units replaced they had that done within 3 days and were at my house and installing the new units within a week. It was July and hot as heck!!! They change the filter and clean my unit when it was required. Their prices are very reasonable and from my experience much lower than the other companies that I have used in the past. I am a disabled vet and live on a salary from the Veterans Administration so I rely on good, honest companies such as Extreme Comfort to ensure that my home is in good working order and that I am not overcharged or taken advantage of.One of the many things that I love about extreme comfort is the owners of the company are always available to talk to me personally over the phone. When there technician Roberto came home Mark spoke with me personally over the phone and developed a plan of attack as far as ensuring what I need to do and what they need to do to keep my units in good working order. Roberto showed me how to clean my unit properly and how to replace the filter. As a veteran I can say that Extreme Comfort loves and supports us and to me Extreme Comfort obviously knows the sacrifices that we as veterans make for our country and Extreme Comfort does all they can do to honor my service.Roberto always comes to my house and performs all the maintenance to my AC and Heating unit.     I give my highest recommendation of Extreme Comfort. My AC went out on Fathers Day Sunday. The owner Marc answered my call on Fathers Day (really WOW). The technician Humberto R was at my house with in 3 hours (again WOW). Humberto got right to the problem and fixed it. Humberto was very thorough checking everything inside and outside. It turned out to be a minor problem and I was charged an extremely reasonable fee. Humberto could have told me anything and I would not be the wiser and paid $400, $600, $800 whatever. The reality is we layman dont know squat about this stuff. I really appreciate the HONESTY here. Marc and Humberto were the best. Again, I highly recommend this company. I am a customer for life.

    I had multiple companies come out and none of them could address our lack of return air. Our unit was in a cramped hallway and there were only two return air vents. After several other estimates and discussions with other HVAC companies? Earle from Extreme Comfort came by the house and actually offered real solutions. We decided to put the new unit inside the attic which got it up off the groud level. We had duct work additions, and 5 more return air vents installed. Our unit has been installed and working for eight-teen months now. The difference is night and day from the previous unit and set up. With the return air vents and proper ducting our house heats and cools evenly. Our monthly electric bills have declined by 30% as well. The cost of this installion was still better than every single one of the other estimates we had received, none of which would have evenly cooled or heated our house and wouldve resulted in a short life span for a new unit.Joey, and Roberto were the lead installers. They made sure to cover every fine detail from proper ducting and even made sure our drain line ran to a better spot. They did a lot of work with their crew and finished in one day. I have not had to call them back for any reason, though they told me I could call them for up to 6 months if we encountered anything related to install.Extreme Comfort AC and Heating also gave us a military discount when they discovered we were eligible. Earle was the one person who came to our house and put himself in our shoes and did not try to sell us something we didnt need. He came up with solutions, price options. Good, better, best.I dont write a lot of reviews, but I want to convey to other consumers that they can buy with confidence from Extreme Comfort Air and Heat.

    Extreme Comfort AC was an excellent choice. Very responsive and timely. Prior to having the unit replaced, they sent a techncian out (Umberto) who completely diagnosed the system and advised me of the current situation. I chose to have the unit replaced. All of the installing technicians were professional and courteous. They arrived on time and had my unit up and running within hours. Removed the old equipment and cleaned up afterwards. I had to have a minor adjustment afterwards and Tony Alfaro was super. I highly recommend this company for any needs as it relates to AC/Heating units. New or Service issues.

    Our AC gave out late Wednesday and Marc gave us a call within 3 minutes of the post on Angis list. He was extremely resourceful with information about our unit and whether it was worth fixing the condenser or getting a new unit. His guy was out next day to assess and the system was installed the next day. Service couldnt have been quicker. His team was completely professional, careful and extremely patient because our space wasnt the easiest to get in to place the indoor system.     We got in touch with Extreme Comfort through the Home Depot. Mike the service manager came out to give us a quote for replacing two units with two new 3 ton heat pump/ac packages and by far gained our trust more than other vendors. He was more knowledgeable and seemed more competent and trustworthy. Grand total for the whole deal cost us 13K which was the best price we found. They came out and did the work two business days after the paperwork was signed. They were quick and did a good job making sure it was done right, installing extra parts, breakers, dampers, and plumbing etc. The workers were extremely friendly and the wife liked them too.Five stars.

    I had another company out yesterday for service call on my A/C. The guy spent like 1 min outside and 1 minute in my attic and told me the compressor shorted out and needed to replace the entire unit then came back and said I could get away with just replacing the compressor.I felt weird about the way he acted so I got a second opinion. Earle spent time listening to my concerns and actually found that it was a power issue. My air conditioner is working perfect right now thanks to him. His honestly made us customers for life!

    This company is AWESOME!!!!! My husband and I (Tanner and Kelsey Smith) came home to a 85° house in the middle of August in TX!! We called Extreme Comfort Air at 5:30, and by 6:45 we had a tech at our door! We had plans to go to dinner to escape the heat but didn’t even make it to the restaurant because they had arrived so quickly! By 7:00 we had cold air again!!! Amazing service! Ron, our Tech, was incredible nice and professional. Knew exactly what to do and immediately took care of us. I will never use anyone else. Amazing service!!!!!

    The downstairs A/C stopped working on a Friday evening, and on Saturday morning a friend recommended Extreme Comfort AC and Heating Service. Howard came out before noon and quickly diagnosed a condenser coil leak, and gave really good advice on what course of action hes personally take; see if the company that installed it for the builder had a warranty on their work etc. On Wednesday I asked Extreme Comfort to do the repair. Right now its 4pm on Thursday and the indoor temperature is dropping, thanks to Tony Alfaro who came fixed my problem and was happy to also answer all my stupid questions. These guys know how to get things done, and I am for sure calling them next time. Thanks guys!

    UPDATE 12/09/2019: Just had a new carrier 5 ton furnace installed, new plenum and all new flex return lines and 3 new returns installed by Jose and team. Our metal returns were 50 years old and disgusting... Humberto pointed that out Friday during the inspection/bidding process. They did a beautiful job and it was reasonable. Again, I am so happy with Extreme Comfort, another great experience. The house smells great too. Thanks...July 2019-Our existing 5 ton ac unit went out yesterday morning. Earle from Extreme came out in an hour and gave us a bid for a new 5 ton system. he didnt try and upsell us either. We were really pleased with the price for the quality. The guys showed up the next day on time(today) with our new unit. It was installed. They even fixed a couple of longstanding issues that they didnt even have to. They went the extra mile. This 4 man team plus the office and Earle was superb and we couldnt be happier from start to finish. In the past I have dealt with many HVAC companies some good, some horrible . This is my best experience so far.They earned our business 10 fold. very happy.Update : I monitor my electricity daily on Griddy and my kwh usage has dropped at least 1/3 since the install.....very happy. My old system was from 2003.

    I had called out another AC company as my tenants complained they were not getting any warm air blowing out this past winter, the air was cool. The other company said I needed a whole new outside heat pump and it would cost me $2600. I wanted a second opinion and called Extreme Comfort.They sent tech Howard out and he said the only issue were two loose wires in the inside unit and that everything in the outside unit was fine. He only charged me for the service call to tighten the wires. I appreciate Howards honesty as he kept me from getting scammed by this other company whose name I wont mention in this post.

    My A/C unit was not blowing out air. I scheduled the appointment for Friday morning online, and Marc called me the same day to discuss the problem we were having with the unit. On the appointment day, Howard called and let me know when he was about 25 minutes away on Friday morning. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and explained what caused it. Since the work required the replacement of the furnace, he scheduled the work for the following Monday. The two guys who arrived on Monday also called and let us know when they were about 25 minutes away. They completed the work, showed me what was done, and tested everything to be sure the A/C was now working as desired.WeI have been in the same house for 20 years and they have done all the work on our heating/cooling system. This company has always done a great job on my units.

    These guys are the BEST!!!! My A/C went down on a Wednesday and after a few frustrating conversations with some independent A/C contractors... I found Extreme Comfort. It all started with an amazing experience with Burt K at Home Depot. Burt assured me that I would be receiving a call from a repair specialist within minutes. He was right. Even though this is a crazily busy time for most A/C companies...Burt found the perfect fit for us. Burt contacted Extreme Comfort and spoke with Brent who is one of the owners. Brent had Earle Edomm at my door less than an hour from my initial call to Burt K at Home Depot. Earl was fantastic. He is a great listener and didnt try to oversell me equipment that i didnt need. His crew arrived on Saturday morning and Joe (the foreman) was super informative and his crew was courteous and professional. They worked through an all day rain storm so that we could have A/C again. I HIGHLY recommend Brent and Mark at Extreme Comfort to professionally handle any and ALL HVAC needs you might have.

    We have been using Extreme Comfort Air Conditioning and Heating for years. They saved us thousands when we had an old unit that they were able to repair inexpensively whereas others had charged hundreds for repairs that had nothing to do with the problem. ProTip: Many of those bottom shelf companies have guys who are not HVAC technicians working and have no clue. One guy has a license and a truck and he employs a bunch of people with no clue and he sends them out on contracts from home warranties—Caveat Emptor.Extreme Comfort put an end to that for us. They got our old AC in the best shape possible and a couple of years later when it made sense, we had them install a new system. Another ProTip: get the maintenance agreement with them. They come out fall and spring and do the maintenance. Our AC will freeze you in the summer and burn you out in the winter. My electric bills are never over 160 and I have a pool pump.They did a great job on our system and have kept it in great shape. You won’t go wrong with this company.Take it from me as someone who got worked over by AC companies for years before I found Extreme Comfort.Every person that I have dealt with at Extreme Comfort impressed me but Ron Hollins stands out as a gifted and talented professional who makes it look easy. Today, he was at the house because we had some electricians over who seemed to have killed our AC. Ron had it solved in no time—that is the usual for him, though.

    Extreme Comfort HAS to be the best heating and cooling company in DFW! Dont look elswhere, trust me, I did a thorough research and met with several companies before them.I called (and have them quote me) 4 different companies inquiring about a new AC system before contacting Extreme Comfort. The process was overwhelming and they all pretty much try to upsell you on things or equipment you dont really need.These guys were the best by far. The sales rep was great on helping me understand what I needed and what I didnt. Turns out, the other companies were quoting me from 2 to 10 thousand dollars more than Extreme Comfort. You cant beat these guys pricing, unless you do it yourself.As far as the installation goes. Their team was great, very explanative on the things they were about to do and the time that the installation would take. We barely noticed them during the 6+ hours that they were here. Once done, they explained very thoroughly what they did and how the unit works. They were also extremely neat, no trace that someone just installed a brand new 4-ton HVAC and furnace.I am passing along their info to people I know. Great company and great people!

    Heating and AC went out and the company my home warranty sent out didnt seem very reliable. I was told I need to buy a brand new unit when mine was less than a year old.
