When I decided to sell my home, I was overwhelmed by the daunting task of trying to fix the house up and put in all the time and effort to get it ready for market. I didn’t know where to start and really didn’t feel inclined to take on all the challenges alone. I had heard about numerous companies that buy your house “as is” and felt like this would be a good fit for my situation. I contacted two other highly advertised home buyer companies to get quotes. The first company was difficult to work with from the very beginning. They needed to make a number of visits to the property, with various different people to determine a value. This didn’t fit my schedule or my level of patience. The second company came out and inspected my home. They gave me a sales pitch before they left and said they would have a number for me in a few days. I anxiously awaited their answer and they low balled me with an insulting figure. I’m no real estate expert, but I also do estimates for a living and knew my house was worth more… even with the work it needed. Discouraged, I contacted HomeVestors for, what would be, my final quote. Enter Steve Stimson! From the very start, Steve was willing to work with me on my terms and around my busy schedule. Steve came to the house by appointment and checked out the property in about 20 minutes. He snapped a few pictures and then sat down with me and explained the whole process. Steve was extremely compassionate and professional. He was very straight forward, asked me what kind of price I was looking for and explained that based on his assessment, and how it aligned with my expectations, he would either be able to make a fair offer or he wouldn’t. Either way, he would let me know if we could make a deal or if we were too far apart. One day later, I had an offer in my email that was significantly more than what I had mentioned as my ballpark price! I was highly impressed by this kind of integrity. I took the deal and within a couple of weeks, they paid me cash for my house. There were no delays… no games… no switcharoo… they delivered at the closing table with the price they promised! I wasn’t quite ready to move, so they allowed me to stay at the house until I got my next home lined up for a reasonable deposit. They didn’t charge me anything while I stayed in the old home. Steve was even able to connect me with a phenomenal real estate agent who was able to help me find my new home and put me in touch with the lending company that secured my new mortgage. Once I moved out of the old house, Steve met me there, took a quick look around, I handed him the keys, and he had my full deposit back to me within a day! This was one of the smoothest experiences I ever could have imagined, especially with such an important and sizeable transaction. I would highly recommend Steve Stimson and HomeVestors to anybody looking for a seamless way to sell your home! Thank you HomeVestors! -

Steve Stimson is very professional and very polite he exemplifies the new faster paced fun and easy way of 20th century realtors. We had tried some other as is type home vestors but there shady and unprofessional ways had allbut turned my Wife and Me away from the idea of a fast as is selling process. Then we met with Steve and within 2 weeks our home was sold for a fair and agreed on price.Try steve and We buy ugly houses. You will get a real offer as well as a fair and transparent deal. -
