When my family moved out of our home which was listed for sale, and into our new home, we were told the empty house would allow potential buyers to envision their own furniture in the home. Ironically, the interest in our home actually decreased at that time. That is when we went searching for solutions and our realtor advised us to consult with The Prospering House, a business with a goal to transform vacant houses into showplaces for the real estate market. From our first meeting with Cricket at The Prospering House, we felt inspired and hopeful with a vision for our home. She advised us in kitchen tile, wall paint, cabinets, windows, and shower glass, as well as ideas for beautiful lighting updates throughout the house. She collaborated efficiently with our realtor to help locate vendors and fixtures, and helped to move the timeline along so that the house was ready to show again in a very short period of time. We also decided to consult with Cricket for staging of furniture and décor for some of the key rooms in the house. The end result was magic. Our home now looks invitingly beautiful and serene for everyone that walks in the front door, thanks to Cricket’s eye for beauty and colors. Cricket with The Prospering House has helped me change the entire interior of my house. We went from the old-world style of yellow, red and dark browns to a much brighter, cleaner, lighter look. Cricket helped me with fabric choices, color designs and most importantly decorations. Cricket would text me pictures of art, decor, ideas of items for me to look for. We worked side by side and created a much more comfortable space for our house. She even took me shopping for a large majority of our decor. She was very budget minded and always wanted to be mindful of my budget. Cricket is a very professional decorator and truly knows what would be long lasting and not just on trend for now. I just recently moved to a new home and with two small kids it was overwhelming to unpack the stuff. We hired Cricket and she has done an amazing job organizing my kitchen, pantry and closet. She asked me what exactly I wanted for my closet and pantry and helped me make an appropriate decision whether to keep the stuff or eliminate them. She also gave me a few ideas on how to keep my home organized in future. She gave me a lot of options on what to buy to organize my shelves beautifully. In my case she made the extra effort to shop for these things on my behalf since I could not get out of the house with two babies. I met Cricket at a home showing that she had arranged. I was really impressed with what I saw. This is when I decided to hire her for my home organizing needs.
