    My brother and I inherited a property that was lived in by our uncle for over 50 years. He lived a very structured life as he was never married or had children. Exercise and diet were a priority to him. Although he was the CEO of multiple oil and gas companies in Canada he never felt the need to update his condo which happened to be close to SMU. My brother and I who live in Houston and Austin respectfully, were not in a position to update/ renovate his condo for sale for logistical reasons. They sold ours in 24 hours after listing it - - but in preparation they handed us the baton and they wrote the music and suggested we decide how far we wanted to reach out to enhance and ease the sale. They recommended move in ready and explained what that would take - and we complied. They recommended colors, walls, trim, carpeting, counters - and we complied. They recommended selling the benefits - (why we loved living there) as opposed to the features - (beds and baths) and sell its destination, its experiences in living there, a table at a nearby French Bistro - a trolley ride downtown.
