Shavonne Martin is who you are looking for!As a first time homebuyer the process of purchasing a home can be scary, stressful, and overwhelming. However, Shavonne made sure that none of those emotions played a role in the process. Shavonne’s knowledge and years of experience gave me a different experience; a stress free exciting experience. Before finding her, I was hesitant and overwhelmed by research. However, after speaking with her, I was able to narrow down my search criteria and choose a lender to partner with. Once I had the pre-approval letter we began to view homes immediately. We viewed five homes one weekend; and I knew I had found my home. Crazy I know, but this house felt like home and it checked everything I had asked Shavonne for. As soon as I knew this was the house I wanted to make my home we sent out the offer letter. Where she was able to negotiate the closing costs and other add ons for the house. Throughout the closing process Shavonne and her team doubled checked everything to ensure I did not miss a deadline or feelt overwhelmed. Which is something that I truly appreciate since that made me feel much more comfortable and at ease with the whole process. In addition to the great add ons she was able to negotiate during the closing costs she was also able to get me an amazing deal with ADT, which took one less thing off my plate. She provide excellent service throughout my journey with her thorough knowledge of new home construction and the local market. When my husband and I decided we wanted to buy a lake house on Buchanan, we called Shavonne. Within 72 hours we found our dream place, made and offer and it was accepted. We found ourselves in a multiple offer scenario and I asked Shavonne “what should we do to get this house?” She said that to make a full price offer and waive option period. That’s exactly what we did and we won the bid. I later asked the seller why she picked us over the other two offers and she said it was because you waived the option period, so we knew you were serious!!! So thanks to Shavonne we got our house. The best part was that after we got the house, Shavonne didn’t leave us by ourselves. She helped with the title process, the lending process, the insurance process... all the stuff that homeowners don’t understand and don’t do everyday! We felt like she held our hand during the entire process and didn’t leave us to figure it out! She answered phone calls and txts immediately, her assistant helped with all the paperwork emails back and forth. Shavonne Martin is a dream maker.My family would not be here in our new home right now if it hadnt been for Shavonnes expertise. Buying a home during the Covid 19 crisis, me starting a new job, and everything changing around us. First was finding the perfect home, in the perfect neighborhood. We wanted to be in close proximity of our jobs. Also wanted to keep our kids in the same school zone. This is where Shavonnes knowledge of the area came in to play. Shavonne was with our home buying process every step of the way. During the loan process I was told that I couldnt proceed with my home purchase because of the recent job change. She also worked hard to drive the price down for the house we were buying. The seller rejected our offer but shavonne followed up a few weeks after our offer bc the house had not sold, the seller then accepted our offer with minimal changes. Had a wonderful experience!

I recently purchased my home from extensive research from Shavonne. I believe we looked at five properties but none was what I was looking for. Afterwards Shavonne suggested that I view a property that didn’t fit my criteria. I said that I wasn’t interested because I was specific with what I wanted. I had a deadline approaching and I became impatient and discouraged. She didn’t pressure me however time went by and she suggested to me to view a certain property. I said ok thinking to myself that this is a waste of time. Well to make a long story short, this particular property was perfect. Shavonne guided me until the process was complete. I was ignorant in terms of all that involves purchasing a home nonetheless I learned so much from Shavonne explaining and enlightening me regarding all that one must do prior to purchase, it’s enough to cause you to become stressed out. I really cant begin to explain how amazing Shavonne has been for me. She guided me every step of the way (holding my hand so to speak) and was always available to help answer any questions I had, regardless if it was in her control (finding a lender, homeowner insurance, questions about the loan process, paperwork, etc.). As overwhelming as buying a home is (first home at that), I never really stressed out too much as she was always there to explain everything in detail and get the right people involved to make sure I stayed on track.
