Laurel with Seymour Realty Group is the best agent we’ve ever worked with. We originally met Laurel during the purchase of our home. She was the seller’s agent when we were purchasing the house. We were so impressed with her professionalism we decided to use her to sell the same house a few years later.We have bought and sold approximately 8 homes over the past 25 years and have worked with many different agents in the Austin area. Laurel is by far, the best agent around and we highly recommend her!We decided to sell our home during COVID and was very nervous about how the selling process would take place. Laurel was extremely knowledgeable about the current Austin market and trends and immediately put our minds at ease.Laurel was able to sell our house before it actually hit the market. In addition, due to her knowledge of the current market during the pandemic, she recommended a price point significantly greater than we had expected. Laurel was amazing to work with!! This is the second time she has helped us purchase or sell a house. She made the process seamless with her full service package including the staging consultation and professional pictures. She was available at all times to answer our questions while speaking from experience. She did multiple open houses allowing for more potential buyers to see the property. We ultimately received an offer over asking price within the first weekend!! We can’t recommend Laurel enough. We have already told other friends and family about Laurel for any of their buying or selling needs!

My wife and I recently purchased our first home and Laurel from Seymour Realty Group made the process seamless! She’s an expert on the Austin market, professional and responsive. Laurel went above and beyond- assisting us from “Babe, let’s buy a home” all the way through close (and after.) Laurel always made time meet, was a fountain of valuable advice and managed/automated the entire process. Buying a home is quite an ordeal and without Laurel we would have been overwhelmed. I can’t explain all that she did for us without turning this review into a novel but just know we are forever grateful for Laurel and her team! Laurel is AMAZING!! Excellent service and professionalism. She made the selling of our house and purchasing of another home stress free. Laurel was sincere and helpful from beginning to end. She was quick to respond to all of our questions, and helped ease any worry during what could be an incredibly stressful time. In general she was a fantastic realtor! She has a great team of stagers and photographers to help sell your home quickly and for the best price. Laurel was always available to us and gave honest responses and recommendations. Even now that the selling and buying process is done, she continues to check in a see if she can be of any help. She without a doubt goes above and beyond. I dont plan on using any other realtor in the future and recommend her to EVERYONE.

I am recommending Laurel to all of my friends & family! My husband and I were first time homebuyers and extremely pleased with Laurels service and performance! Laurel isn’t just my realtor, she’s also become a good friend. We met almost 5 yrs ago and I instantly liked her! When she handed me a folder with lists of tasks to accomplish and a timeline for selling a home, I knew this girl was speaking my language. She has since helped me through 3 or 4 real estate transactions and there will probably be more. Laurel is attentive, detail-oriented, organized, committed to her clients and finding them the perfect home.I would text or email Laurel at all hours with questions that had varying levels of stupidity and she responded with thoughtful answers in what seemed like a manner of minutes. Even on vacation she was lightening quick with the responses and I was extremely grateful. You can tell that Laurel has a passion for people and real estate and she is genuine, professional, down to earth, and so fun! I have a blast looking at houses with her and each process whether buying or selling was quick and painless. I could go on and on, but stop reading this and call her if you need a realtor! Laurel is an absolute delight. My husband and I are first-time homebuyers and started with ZERO information about the process and what we would need to do and when. We had questions like, “How much do we need to have saved for a down payment?”, “Do people leave the refrigerators or take them with them?” Real first-timer stuff, y’all.Laurel was so incredible to work with. On our very first call, she talked to us for an hour about what we could expect, what we needed to do, and what sort of timeline we might be looking at. We started looking at homes right away, and Laurel was so helpful in keeping us on-track and offering really great insight (because… it gets confusing!). After about a month Laurel helped us find one we LOVED and write an offer that was accepted.We are still bothering her with questions (“How do we know what paint color we’re supposed to buy?”, “Do you have any recommendations for plumbers?”), and she continues to be lovely and patient and knowledgable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a home in Austin!

A friend recommended Laurel Seymour to my partner and me when we were just starting to consider buying our first house. Laurel came to our first meeting super-prepared (certainly more prepared than we were) and was able to explain things about the home-buying process that no amount of binge-watching House Hunters could have clarified for me. From there, things moved more quickly than I think any of us were expecting-- after seeing just a few houses (Laurel was always really flexible/accommodating with scheduling), we found a home that checked basically all the boxes we had rattled off as a dream scenario. Laurel was able to get our offer in first, and from there was a huge help in keeping us organized and on-schedule (and answering all of our frantic and/or confused questions). I really thought that buying our first home would be way more stressful, and I think we owe a lot of the relative ease to Laurel being honest, organized, and a great communicator. We worked with Laurel on both the sale of our old house and the purchase of the new one. The purchase of the new house went incredibly smoothly. She explained the paperwork to us and made sure we were comfortable with the new build process.The sale of the old house was much more complicated because we had a lot of legwork to do to get our 1970s home ready for market. Laurel helped us figure out what needed improvement to get us the biggest return and she even brought staging items to our open house. She told us when the best time to list would be and she held open houses two days in a row. We had multiple offers within 48 hours and we were so happy to accept one that was nearly $12 thousand over asking price! She also got us closed within 3 weeks. Selling a house is such a pain in the butt but she really did help us get through it easily and got us much more than we expected!Side note: whoever she uses to take professional listing photos is also top notch!UPDATE: Laurel is now assisting us in closing on a raw lot on Lake LBJ. She can do it all!

As first time homebuyers, Laurel helped us find our dream home and truly went above and beyond the call of duty in representing us as buyers. The Austin real estate market is extremely competitive, but Laurel helped us score our home without it ever going live on the market and avoiding a bidding war. She made something that is typically very stressful, smooth and seamless. For example:1) We met in person to discuss our needs/preferences and from the start; she was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Of note, she was not pushy, but instead a great guide that had our best interests in mind.2) Based on our initial conversations, she was able to hone in on the neighborhoods that met our needs in addition to keeping our tastes top of mind. Due to her connections in the Austin area, she was notified of a home that was “coming soon” and lined us up as the first potential buyers to view the house.3) As we looked at the house, Laurel was detail-oriented in looking for and explaining potential issues/concerns. Knowing the competitiveness of the market, she guided us on how to position ourselves in making an offer off-market that would increase our chances of going under contract w/o being bid out while ensuring it was a fair deal.
