Ive worked with real estate agents in four different states and all were excellent, but Malissa and Joshua are the best Ive worked with. The combination of their individual talents is formidable: between them they have a vast and detailed knowledge of Santa Fe neighborhoods, home construction, horticulture, restaurants, the arts scene, and much more. Their communication and organizational skills are superb. We were moving to Santa Fe from out of state and leaned on them heavily for resources since we were newbies, and theyve always come through with great contacts. Plus, theyre down-to-earth and fun, which is invaluable during the home-search process.

I worked with Joshua and Malissa. If you want the anxiety of selling a home made into a really pleasant experience then link with this pair. Knowledgable, always reachable, there to help with every phase including contacting every variety of repair teams to almost automatically fix all those details inspectors find. It is the only time I’ve sold a house and felt the commission wasn’t enough. They are great people, your strongest advocates, and have become good friends. I will give a strong five stars but if I could I’d give ten. Five for each of them.

I had the misfortune of having to sell a home and several properties following the passing of a family member. I am not versed in the details of the process, but have bought and sold a few houses over the years. Joshua and Malissa greeted us with an overwhelming sense of honesty from the first meeting. As a team, they were full of great advice on how to proceed making every step so thoughtful and strategic. Throughout the process, we were able to build a strong relationship that felt comfortable. They are very attentive and incredibly respectful while gaining a thorough understanding of your perspective. I felt comfortable reaching out whenever I had the smallest concern knowing Joshua and Malissa were always available. I know they have many other clients, but you feel like you are the only one. Their knowledge of the market, great process planning and strategic thinking proved invaluable. You will not find better real estate professionals that are incredibly kind and courteous.

When we listed our home with them, they sold it in 87 days for far more than the average list price for homes like ours. Joshua and Malissa are a strong team. They are honest, hard-working and knowledgeable.

We met them through a referral almost two years before we made the decision to move to Santa Fe, and they gave their time and expertise to us through this entire time, showing us properties when we came to visit, educating us about the Santa Fe market, and letting us know about interesting properties in our price range. Once we moved here, they showed us a wide range of possibilities until we found the right house. The negotiations were more complicated than usual, and their knowledge and expertise was invaluable, and their assistance went way beyond what was expected. Yes, Joshua and Malissa were our realtors, but frankly the experience they provided us went so far beyond realtor services.Specifically, from day one and our first conversation, it was obvious my wife and I werent just another transaction to Joshua and Malissa. In 2018 we purchased a beautiful home in the Santa Fe area. Malissa Kulberg and Joshua Maes were the realtors who walked the 3 months’ journey with us. We found them to be thoroughly professional, strong communicators, and very kind. Here are a few qualities that made our work with Malissa and Joshua so positive.• Knowledgeable: Both Malissa and Joshua know the Santa Fe area well. They were able to give us information on the changes in neighborhoods, meanings of land deals, philosophies of the communities, not to mention great hole-in-the-wall restaurants.• Organized: Daily tours of properties they (and we) had planned out were arranged with plenty of time for driving and looking. They provided us with printed material about the properties before we saw each one. They were able, and willing, to make modifications to the day’s plan based on our interest.• Experienced: At each property, they could quickly size up what modifications would be required to bring both the building and the property up to an acceptable level of livability and estimate how these changes would affect the asking price and counter offers.• Connected: Both Malissa and Joshua have many, many connections to local businesses who can provide all the necessary services that may be required when determining the quality of the property as well as fixes that will soon be needed. Financing, adobe, heating, plumbing, carpentry, painting, tree doctors – just a few of the local folks Joshua and Malissa helped connect us with.• Honest: Malissa and Joshua were always honest with us about both big and small issues and the pros and cons of each property. When they did not know information, they immediately searched out the answers. Joshua and Malissa were amazing realtors to work with! Ive been lucky enough in my home buying experience to work with some great agents, and Joshua is certainly on the top of my list! Our requirement were unique and we were in a hurry to move quickly. Not only was Joshua able to meet ALL of our unique demands, but he found us an amazing deal when I dont think many other agents would have even tried. To make a long story short we missed an opportunity on a condo we had our hearts set on. Most agents likely would have dropped it and tried to put us in something else immediately. Joshua went way above and beyond and found us an even BETTER unit in the same complex that was owned by a previous client of his. WOW. Their successful sale of my property forever changed my opinion of the profession.Before I hired Joshua and Malissa, I interviewed several realtors. I had many concerns, spoken and unspoken. How can I successfully maintain my occupancy level with minimal disruption to the residents? What specific measures will you take to make sure the tenants and their homes are treated with respect? What, if any, improvements should I make before listing? How will you screen qualifications of a potential buyer and his/her agent? We found Joshua and Melissa through one of our neighbors who used them to sell their house.They analyzed the market for us; gave us suggestions on how to prepare the house; helped stage the inside of house; and also gave us helps on re-arranging the yard and the outside of the house.The house looked great once it came onto the market with beautiful photos.During the sale process, they gave us suggestions to make all the right decisions, and they made many trips to the house just to check on how the process was going.
