I can’t say enough about Salena…she ROCKS!! I first met Salena about a year ago and looked at one property. At that time I needed to take care of a few things to better position myself financially to purchase a home. She kept me on her radar throughout this time, sending listings in my areas of interest and just checking in.Then one Saturday in November she called about a new community in Manor so we agreed to meet there. There were no models so we had to visualize the final products. The homes were going fast and sure to go up in price in the short term. She suggested we look at the same model in another community by the builder so off we go.I really liked the model and it checked all the “must have” boxes. I was ready to draw up a contract and Salena kept asking if I was sure, did I want to look at anything else. Yes…I was sure and the contract was signed.Six months later we are in our new home!! Salena was there every step of the way from recommending mortgage brokers to movers and beyond. Because she offered more than one option, you do not get the feeling that there is anything in it for her; Salena is genuinely on your side and no pressure. She was at every builder appointment and even the closing providing her support and knowledge. Salena Gutierrez was fantastic. We were referred to her by a listing only agent as we were looking to buy quickly and needed someone who already knew the inventory and could get us to acceptance. The real kicker is we only had 10 days to purchase and close on a replacement property in order to maintain a 1031 qualified exchange. Some agents thought this would be impossible, but not Salena, she dug right in, and within hours she emailed us half a dozen listings that fit our criteria. The next day she was ready to take us on tour of the ones we liked most, not a single complaint when we asked to see 2 more, after the first 3! The same night we made our decision and she contacted the listing agent, then submitted our offer the next morning. It was accepted about 24 hours later, and 7 days after that, we were closed! She was right there every step of the way. She kept on top of everything needed for escrow too, so we didnt have any snags at the last minute. I recommend her highly and we will certainly be using her again the next time we are in the market to Buy or Sell in the Austin area.
